Summary says 8 GB of photos but where?

The summary of the iPod says there are 8GB of photos but I do not know where these photos are located on the iPod. Can anyone tell me where it is? I want to backup them and delete them out of the iPod. I couldn't find it.

You can view the photos via the Photo app.
- The ones in the Camera Roll/Saved Photos were directly imported on the iPod such as screen shots and camera (4G only). You can transfer those to the computer by:
Copying personal photos and videos from iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your computer
- Other photos in the Photos app are synced from the compute to the iPod. You have to unsync those.

Did you look on all of the screens? It may have gotten installed on one you weren't expecting. Does it show up when you do a Spotlight search?

Itunes still says i have photos but i deleted them all

i was clearing my storage space so i deleted all my photos n added them to my laptop but itunes still says that i have all the photos on my iphone and i cant use the storage space. how to i get my laptop to know that i deleted photos so i can use storage for other stuff.

Photos in iCloud (My Photo Stream and any Shared Photo Streams) count, so if you still have those in the Photos app you'd have to eliminate them to reduce further. Also, the "Recently Deleted" category still counts, so if you deleted photos and there are some still in this "recycle bin" then you have to delete them from that folder to clear them out.
Still, many users seem to have this issue after deleting all sources of photos and videos. The only thing I've seen that helps is to backup, restore, and reload the backup.
Just curious, are you using "iCloud Photo Library (Beta)" by any chance? Just curious if that might be related to this issue.

My webcam says its in use but where?

so like my webcam it works perfectly on tinychat, photbooth and many more, but for some reason it wont work on oovoo, it says "camera is in use" but like idont know hwere its in use, is their any way to find out where i can figure that out? thnanks in advance

When I try to "save" a video no windoe comes up asking me where to assign the video. It says it is downloading but where does it go???

When I was with explorer and I wanted to save a video from a website a window would open asking me where to save it to. With firefox this doesn't happen and can't find video if it was downloaded?? It doesn't go to my video folder but the website claims the video was downloaded.

You have 2065 photos that are in stacks that have been collapsed, meaning that those pictures are not currently visible in 'All Photographs'.
You could use 'stacking>expand all stacks' to open them all if you wanted them to be visible.

You moved what photos from where and to where?
Are you running a Managed or a Referenced Library?
A Managed Library, is the default setting, and iPhoto copies files into the iPhoto Library when Importing. The files are then stored in the Library package
A Referenced Library is when iPhoto is NOT copying the files into the iPhoto Library when importing because you made a change at iPhoto -> Preferences -> Advanced. (You unchecked the option to copy files into the Library on import) The files are then stored where ever you put them and not in the Library package. In this scenario you are responsible for the File Management.

Apps (like other synced media like music) are not included in the backup that iTunes makes. Thus, restoring from backup if the apps are not in the iTunes library there are no apps to restore to the iPod.
Redownload the apps into your iTunes library.
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
And then restore from backup.
Make sure that in iTunes>Preferences>Devices the box that say "Prevent iPods..." is checked otherwise when you connect the iPod to the computer the previous backup (with your app data) might be overwritten.

1. If you are this unhappy with that phone, and the lost earbuds is the only thing stopping you from taking it back, why do not just buy some earbuds. That way you can get rid of that phone. It all depend upon how much you want to get rid of that phone.
2. Yet if you are stuck with that iPhone, here is something might help you to control the data usage. By design, iPhones do turn off WiFi when they go dormant. So if a download is in progress and so forth when the phone goes dormant, it will switch to use cellular data, if this setting is left on. Therefore, from multi-sources I have learned that if you keep your iPhone connected to a power source, then it will stay connected to the available WiFi.

It shows the backup as a file and shows various system info. but there are no photos or other files shown.

A PowerPC Mac, if that's what it is, won't be able to see an Intel Mac's formatted data. Also ExFat formatting is not supported by 10.6.3 or earlier. I would try viewing the backup on another Intel Mac with at least 10.6.4. If it isn't there, then the backup never really took place. I much profer a hard drive with Carbon Copy Cloner.
