Sun E250 blank Screen... Need help

Hi everyone,
Currently I have moved my E250 server back from my customer site. It was working last week and now when I tried to power up it does not reach the Open Boot prompt.
I will start with the LED light located on the front panel. Only the green light which is the power light is on. Normally there an amber light that will blink that which the machine will work fine. Now that light does not blink at all.
Also there is other LED fault light that appear like powersupply, hardisk and room tempearture.
Therefore need helps from any gurus here. Do you think is there any component that was loose inside the system like memory or CPU ? If so I believe the LED light will appear as fault which now it has none.
Thanks...
Regards
Jeremy

I did OBP upgrade. Problem is still there and I don't see anything in the DIAG.

If you have not done a factory reset on the device, I recommend doing a complete  factory reset.
Factory Reset  - Warning this will reset device back to original factory settings.
This method will not erase any MDN/MIN information
    Turn off the phone
Press Power + Volume Up/Down at the same time and hold until display will show a triage android screen
    Display will show:

    Wipe Cache Partition
Use VOL Down key to scroll down to "Wipe Data/Factory Reset", press home icon to select option and wipe device.
Display shows "All user data will be wiped out", press VOLUME Up to continue or VOLUME Down to exit.
    Press Volume Up

i can't sign in to game center in the mac i type i the password and it takes me to a black green screen i need help?

I have the same problem on my Mac OS X V 10.9.5. and its just 1 month old.
have tried almost everything. But it looks like it's on Apple's side because there are other people with other devices (Iphone & Ipad) having the same problem.

  • I reformatted my ipod to windows and now I get a blank screen. Help!

My brother gave me his old Ipod 30Gb, I believe it's an IPOD Classic. When I first connected it to my PC I got a message that it needed to get reformatted to Windows, so I did that. After that when the IPOD came back on it had a blank screen. I tried holding down the menu + center button also but that did not work.
I also tried running the diagnostics on iTunes and failed on the Device Sync Test. I can see the music on the IPOD but they are greyed out and  it won't play. But if I attach the earbuds I can hear the songs, but again the screen is blank.
Thank you for any assistance you can give.

    Difficult to comprehend your post.
" I can see the music on the IPOD but they are greyed out and  it won't play. But if I attach the earbuds I can hear the songs, but again the screen is blank"
    Especially these parts
that you can see the music but the screen is blank?
it wont play but you can hear the songs.
Just a wild guess, your battery is low, connect it to the PC for 4 hours, then Reset the iPod. (Menu+center button
till the Apple logo comes ON)
    Tenga un buen día

    Hi crikle1992,
To rule out any possible software issue that may be causing this, I would suggest backing up and doing a clean reload of your BlackBerry® Device Software.
The following KB articles provide more instructions.

For Mac: "Perform a clean reload of BlackBerry smartphone application software using BlackBerry Desktop Software on a Mac computer" http://bbry.lv/J0UN1U
    Hope this helps.

  • Stuck grey screen, need help asap!

    Alright,
so I was trying to reinstall some programs by using the Startup Disk 1.
I relized how long it was taking, and quit at an early point.
I chose to restart the computer (I've done it before, and it just went back to our normal screen)
    But this time around,
It went to a blank white screen,
several minutes later, a blinking globe appeared
and then a minute or two later, the blue startup screen appeared,
    then turned grey,
and that's where it's been ever since.
I have NO idea how to fix this.
I've looked everything up from this other computer,
and I am pretty much desperate to get the computer fixed ASAP
    PLEASE,
    hah I need answers quick
    Thank you so much!!!

    Hi Nicole-
Don't be freaked out- it doesn't help. You need to be cool, calm, and methodical.
So, you have an iMac? Anyhow, a slot loading optical drive....
Check your keyboard. Is it plugged in?
If you are using a wireless keyboard, change to a USB plug in type for now. If you are using a wireless, this would be why previous keyboard commands didn't work.
With the OS install disc in the machine, and with the machine off (hold the power button for several seconds to make sure it turns off). Startup the Mac, and hold the C key while starting. Hold the key until you see the gray spinning wheel stop spinning. The machine should boot to the OS X install disc.
Once booted to the OS install disc, either, repair the hard drive with Disk Utility, or, Archive and Install, saving user settings.
BTW-We aren't arguing, just establishing from where the others thinking is based. Of no consequence to you, except that we are both trying to help.
    Remember, cool, calm, methodical.

  • I accidently downloaded a virus on my iphone which means i cannot open my safari because it just crashes and goes to a blank screen. please help

i accidently downloaded something as i opened a site. it now means i cannot use safari because everytime i try to open it, it just goes to a blank black page and wont let me do anything. what can i do? please help! my iphone is either a 3G or 3GS?

You cannot get a virus on an iPhone unless it is jailbroken. The site you displayed may be corrupt, however. Press the HOME button if not on the HOME screen, then press it again. Hold your finger on the Safari app that appears in the recently used ribbon, then tap the "-" to close it. Next go to Settings/Safari and tap Clear History, then Clear Cookies and Data.

Among other things, they can be used to troubleshoot problems with the machine should they arise (chances are they won't but they can be useful, especially in detecting if the RAM usable and other factors). They are not rightfully his when he sells the machine and ONLY licensed for use with that machine. If he lost the disks, he should call AppleCare for replacements.
Once you have identified which iMac you have from my FAQ:
    http://www.macmaps.com/macosxnative.html#IDENTIFY
You’ll have the knowledge necessary to call AppleCare and request the disks yourself if you can’t reach the seller. This knowledge is also important later on.
If you can reach him, the number he should contact is one from his own country.
In Canada, the number for AppleCare is
    1-800-263-3394
    In the U.S. it is:
    1-800-APLCARE
    Overseas numbers are here:
    http://www.apple.com/contact/phone_contacts.html
Make sure you get the correct RAM according to the spec database based on the Mac model identified above:
    http://www.info.apple.com/support/applespec.html
and update it to at least 512 MB if not 1 GB. The installation if necessary is best done by an authorized service technician, especially on the iMac G4 models since those RAM slots tend to be quite fragile. Run the hardware test that came with the restore disks. Some come with their own Hardware Test CD that is silver colored, while others come with a volume like the Powerbook, except labeled iMac restore disk. The restore disk instructions for the Powerbook apply to iMacs as well:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=86287
If the hardware test appears OK, you’ll be ready to run the Tiger installation with an erase and install:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=301270
    And everything then should work.
Good luck, and let us know if you get stuck along the way!

  • HP Pavilion a6000 desktop with Vista black screen - need help please!

I have an HP Pavilion a6000 desktop with Vista.  Yesterday it was working fine and today we have the black screen that reads:
    Award BootBlock BIOS v1.0
Copyright (c) 2000, Award Software, Inc.
    BIOS ROM checksum error
    Detecting IDE ATAPI device...
Found CDROM, try to boot from it...Fail
    Detecting IDE ATAPI device...
    Detecting IDE ATAPI device...
    Detecting floppy drive A media...
    Drive A error.  System halt
I am not a techie, but looked at online forums and have tried f10 at startup with no change to the screen other than it stops after the first four lines and does not try the floppy drive.  I also pulled out the round battery, waited and then reintstalled.  Same problem.
Also, computer emits a single, repeating beep after startup.
    HELP!

I saw your post and wanted to comment. I'm not an expert on these types of situations but did some digging around and found the following at Tips4PC.com.... read below
"There are two types of computer black screens that can appear in Windows. One where the computer will not boot up but you have a beep sequence sounding to let you know what the problem could be, and the other has nothing at all. No beeps, no cursor, no logo screen, and no choice to boot to safe mode or access the bios.
If your computer will not boot up and you get a beep sequence, I am not saying it is good news, however it is a step in the right direction towards solving this problem. This is a message from your computer that can be understood by looking up your bios (the brand) beep code. For example you may have an Award Bios, Ami Bios, Phoenix BIOS, Compaq, Dell, or Acer Bios. This list goes on and on.  You can search for Bios beep codes in Google. Here is an example of results in Google search"

Also  I went into the Troubleshooting Guide for the A6000  and found the following information.  You need to use F11 for recovery. See below
Starting System Recovery from system startup
    1
Turn off the computer. If necessary, press and hold the On button until the computer
    turns off.
    2
Remove the HP Personal Media Drive if your computer includes one. Disconnect all
peripheral devices from the computer except the monitor, the keyboard, and the
    mouse.
    3
Press the On button to turn on the computer.
    4
During the startup, do the following to enter the Recovery Manager program:
When the blue screen with the HP Invent logo appears, press the F11 key on the
keyboard. (You have only a few seconds to press the F11 key before the normal
    startup process continues.)
    5
The computer starts the Recovery Manager program; wait for the onscreen instructions
to display, and then follow those instructions.
    6
Complete the computer startup, finish the registration process, and wait until you see
the desktop. Then, turn off the computer, reconnect all peripheral devices, and turn on
    the computer.
    I am an HP employee.

  • Zen Micro just has a lit but blank screen? Help me pleas

I bought a 6 GB Zen Micro for my daughter for Xmas last year and now (not sure for how long but I guess several months) the battery does not seem to hold any charge and it will not turn on unless connected to a USB port. When I connect the player to an USB port the screen lights up, I get the Creative copyright screen for a second and then the screen is lit & blank except for the batter icon up top which has a flashing lightning bolt inside. The screen remains lit and that is about it. It stays lit for ever it seems, or at least until I unplug it. But even after that it will not turn on at all.
There is only one thing I can get the player to do but only when plugged into a usb port. If I hold the power button down for 5 seconds I get the Creative copyright screen followed by the Recover mode screen. I can select an option from the recovery mode and start the option but the screen eventually goes blank and dark.
Don't know what is wrong nor what to do.
It might be the battery, might be the player itself, don't know.
    Any help is appreciated please.
Should also note that when connected to a usb port and my computer is on then Windows XP notices the Zen Nano as new hardware.
    Thanks

I was able to get to the music/song section by double clicking the home button but it was still frozen. I also followed directions on how to restart my ipod but it only made it worse by leaving me with an unusable blank white screen. Not only that but I tried plugging it into my computer with the USB but nothing came up & I wasn't able charge it.
    HOW CAN I FIX THIS????

If you restored to factory settings/new iPod via iTunes (Not via Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Setting) and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.
