Sun ProjectX XML parser

Hi,
I need to download the Sun ProjectX XML parser. Someone know where I can find It?
The reason is that I'm using a package: com.sun.xml.tree

I don't know where I can find the file xml.jar.
I've been informed that this file is in the Sun ProjectX XML.
Does Sun ProjectX correspond to JAXP
I've foud only xerces.jar et xalan.jar in JAXP but no xml.jar.
I need this file because I'm using the package com.sun.xml.tree.
Someone have an idea?

I have seen this error when I'm executing inside one of the (j2ee sun reference implementation) server containers (either web or ejb). I believe its caused by "something" having previously loaded the "sax 1 driver class". In my case, I think the container or server is loading the sax parser from a jar that contains a sax 1 version. If you can, ensure that nothing is loading the sax 1 parser from another jar on your system. Verify that you are loading the sax parser from a jar containing the latest version so that you get the sax 2 compliant parser. Good luck!

Provider com.sun.xml.parser.DocumentBuilderFactoryImpl not found

During the deployment process using deploy tool i frequently get this error :
Exception is:
java.lang.RuntimeException: javax.xml.parsers.FactoryConfigurationError: Provider com.sun.xml.parser.DocumentBuilderFactoryImpl not found.
and when i restart the server then the home page of the server displays the following message:
com.sap.engine.services.servlets_jsp.server.exceptions.WebDeploymentException: Error in starting application sap.com/com.sap.engine.docs.examples
Can anybody please help in rectifying this problem .It is urgent.

How to download sun XML parser/Where to find the parser itself to downloa?.

I saw the website below. But I do not have a clue of what to download and where to store any files in my directories and how to set the classpaths to run the file below.

The date on that page is 2002-10-14. It is totally obsolete. If you saw examples using a parser whose name starts with "com.sun" then those examples are totally obsolete as well.
If you're using Java 1.4 then it already includes an XML parser. Just look for Java XML tutorials that are more recent and read them. You don't need to download anything.

DTD file: web-jsptaglib_1_1.dtd ( actually, jakarta used http://java.sun.com/j2ee/dtds/web-jsptaglibrary_1_1.dtd, but that dosen't work in iPlanet 4.1 SP 14. so i changed the path of dtd location to web-jsptaglib_1_1.dtd like the following tld file.)
How should I use Jakarta DB Tag Library in iPlanet 4.1 SP? I'm very tired to set all of thses stupid things!

Missing com.sun.xml.parser in Java EE 5

I am upgrading from J2EE 1.4 to 5. In 1.4 I was using j2ee.jar file, but after installing J2EE 5, I think the file has changed to javaee.jar. But javaee.jar is missing the package com.sun.xml.parser. Can anybody tell me where I can find it?

XML publisher : Error oracle.xml.parser.v2.XMLParseException: Expected ';'

I am trying to output a customer list containing customer number and customer name using 11i ( 11.5.10 CU2) with latest XML publisher patches on.
How do I debug the following error in OPP log:

The XML ouput file is generated fine but get the following error in the log file.

I was able to correct the error. The data contained an '&' sign and that was causing the xml parser to fail with the above error. If the & is replaced by a different character other than & then this error does not occur.

XML Parser Error while creating Web service Client using JAX RPC

hello evryone,
Im facing XML Parser Error while creating web service client using JAX RPC. Im using Net Beans IDE for development purpose. I have wrote configuration file for client. Now i want to create Client stub. However i dont know how to do this in Net Beans. So i tried to do it from Command promt using command :
wscompile -gen:client -d build -classpath build config-wsdl.xml
here im getting Error:
error parsing configuration file: XML parsing error: com.sun.xml.rpc.sp.ParseException:10: XML declaration may only begin entities

Can i use the client generated using jdeveloper 11g to import into the oracle forms 10g, i.e., form builder 10g. Currently this is the version we have in our office.

Do you think this is a bug with the parser itself or an incompatablilty between it and the tag library?
Or am I missing something?

Store the web-jsptaglibrary_1_1.dtd to a directory and specify the file url.

XML Parsing Error in applet

I'm trying to parse a XML dicument in an applet with the following code

and get the SAXException when the XML document contains a
non-ASCII, but ISO-8859-1 character (i.e. '�' = 0xE4)
Running the same code as Java application on the same computer,
where I also run the applet, works fine (no exception occurs).
IMHO, there should not be any difference, both applet and application
should use the same VM and, hence, the same XML parser.
Any idea why not?
I have the Sun VM coming with JRE1.4.0 installed on a PC with
windows 2000, and also got the same result with JRE1.4.2.
I checked whether the server application sends the correct xml document
by printing it to System.out (=java console of the browser, where the applet
runs, and this seems to be OK. So, my java application seems to be OK.
Is there any possibility that some settings in the browser cause this problem?
The longer I think about it, the more I'm confused.

the error was set I didn't set the contentLength in the http header when sending the xml file from the servlet.
I don't really understand why this caused the type of error I experienced, but, at least, my applet works fine now.

As our application uses AXIS to do WebServices, we have removed the default oracle xml shared library by using remove-inherited in orion-application.xml. In addition, we package our own xerces in our application ear file. It looks like PDK is looking for oracle xml parser resulting in the NoClassDefFoundError exception.
The above exception is thrown if I access the JDPK provider URL after accessing our application.
However, if I restart the OC4J and ccess the JPDK provider URL without accessing our application, I get the following error

On further test, If I let the default oracle xml parser be loaded, then I do not get the the exception.
I have removed the following lines from orion-application.xml

Now, If I access the JPDK provider URL

I did google this and found that I needed a specific jar file called xmlparserv2.jar and I did download it and loaded it on as part of my Libraries the I got a new error... I am using NetBeans
