Sun's counterpart for Microsoft BizTalk server

Hi all,
I would like to know what is the SUN's product for Microsoft BizTalk server?
Thanx in advance

BizTalk is basicly a B2B-Framework and not a product.Microsoft BizTalk Server is an implementation for it. The ebXML-project is something similar (but not compatible) to BizTalk and SUN is supporting it. There is no comparable product from SUN. The JAXM-implementation has an ebXML-profile for sending ebXML-messages, that's all.

Sorry, I didn't see your first first post of your CLASSPATH... I lost in the stack-trace (silly me ;-)
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Driver for JDBC\lib\mssqlserver.jar;
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Driver for JDBC\lib\msbase.jar;
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Driver for JDBC\lib\msutil.jar;Yep, They look like they might be Sequel JDBC drivers to me... So open each of those jars in your zip-utility (winzip or whatever) and see if any of them contain the missing class: com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver OR anything which looks similar... Are you certain the 2K and 05 class names are the same?
And If the required class does exist then Q: Does java -jar use the CLASSPATH environment variable at all? ... If I was implementing it wouldn't... too "tacky"... I'd respect the classpath in the manifest, and an explicit -cp switch, but I wouldn't trust the system environment variable to point me to the "correct" required classes... not in a pink fit.
I hope that helps some... these problems can be just sooooo frustrating!
    Cheers. Keith.

  • Best driver available for MicroSoft SQL server?

    Hi,
I am using MS-SQL server for my application server.
Which driver should i use for it?
Right now I am using ODBC driver.
Please suggest me a few links where i could get the best driver(thin driver) for SQL server.
    regards
    suri

    Hi,
best driver available for MicroSoft SQL server?i-net software has written a solid JDBC driver based on TDS. The trial version is limited to a single connection. http://www.inetsoftware.de/English/Produkte/JDBC_Overview/ms.htm
jTurbo provides jdbc driver for MS SQL Server (www.jTurbo.com).
Merant technologies also provides jdbc driver for MS SQL Server. Find more details at http://www.microsoft.com/sql/downloads/2000/jdbc.asp.Microsoft licenses MERANT's JDBC driver for SQL Server 2000.
I cannot comment which one is the best driver. It depends on your project requirements and the buget alloted.
    Hope this helps.

  • REMOTE DESKTOP SERVICES CLIENT ACCESS LICENSES FOR MICROSOFT WINDOWS SERVER 2012 STANDARD AND DATACENTER

I am using a window 7 professional  service pack 1 and I purchase REMOTE DESKTOP SERVICES CLIENT ACCESS LICENSES FOR MICROSOFT WINDOWS SERVER 2012 STANDARD AND DATACENTER. but  the seller did not send me any installation CD or instruction
    on how to use it.
Please how can I use it on my window 7 professional  service pack 1.
    Thank you.

Though Bill is absolutely correct for most CALs, Remote Desktop Services does have its own special licensing server.  I haven't installed one on 2012, yet, but here is a step-by-step guide for 2008.
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd983943(v=ws.10).aspx
Here is a lab guide for 2012 -
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj134160.aspx
But, the explanation of your environment begs the question - what are you trying to do?  You say you have a desktop OS and you are talking about Windows Server products.  In that light, your question does not make a lot of sense.

  • Error while Installing Oracle Services for Microsoft Transaction Server

I downloaded "Oracle9i Database Release 2 Enterprise/Standard/Personal Edition for Windows NT/2000/XP" and installed the personal edition. It did not install successfully and gave this error message:
Error while Installing Oracle Services for Microsoft Transaction Server
The specified key was not found while trying to GetValue
    - stop installation of all products.
    - stop installation of this component only.
The installation of Oracle 9i Database was unsuccessful
The Integration tools and client installed just fine from the same download. Why didn't the database install successfully? All the other components seemed to install just fine and the database appeared to be created - but I could not open it and there was not start menu option for DBA Studio.
I am running Windows 2000 professional with Service Pack 3 on a 2 GHz Pentium4 machine with 512MB Rambus RAM, 32bit color graphics ATI All-in-Wonder card, about 40GB of disk space, a local peer-to-peer network via cat5 cable to another Win2k P3 machine, and Creative Soundblaster Audigy card. Do I need to adjust any network settings? Would it help or hinder if I installed MS IIS? WinNT has a Microsoft Transaction Server (MTS) but Win2k has COM+ instead; does that make a difference in terms of the installer looking for MTS? Do I need to configure COM+ in some special way / change settings?

    HI Salman,
    I am doing the following.
    1. I am installing Oracle 10.2.01 Database(Not Client) on my windows Xp laptop. While installation i Choose the custom option and Check the Oracle Windows Interface. In that i check the "Install Oracle Services for Microsoft Transaction server" checkbox. The installation goes on fine till 99% and when it tries to install the
Oracle Services for Microsoft Transaction server it gives an error saying that "Microsoft Transaction server" was not found on the system.
I had previously installed the same on my laptop and it was working fine. but after uninstallation when i try to re install i get this problem.
If i go to the services.msc option in windows i still see the OracleMTSRecoveryService option even when i have uninstalled oracle. But when i try to start the services i get the following error
Could Not start the OracleMTSRecoveryService on the local computer.
Error 3: The system cannot find the file specified.
Any help on how to resolve this issue will be highly appreciated

  • Understanding on Oracle services for Microsoft Transaction Server frm dba point of view

    Hi ALL,
    i read : -> https://docs.oracle.com/database/121/NTMTS/recovery.htm#NTMTS003
Need help to further confirm my understanding on what i read.
I am coming from the DBA angle... .
the functionality of the Microsoft Transaction server is integrated within the operating system as a COM+ server and as a .NET server,  "
can i say these is the application servers ?
and the Microsoft Transaction distributed co -ordinator components is part of it.
Question, i don't install the Oracle Recovery Services on the above system right?
Question 2, as a dba, my only concern is to make sure the Oracle Services for Microsoft Transaction Server is installed. Is this correct ?
plus making sure to create the OraMTS administrator to run the recovery job to check for in-doubt transaction.
    Question 3:
is this Oracle services for Microsoft Transaction Server used only when an application useses multiple databases in an env?
Can i say that when there is no user MTSSYS in my database, Oracle services for MTS is not used?
The reason why i ask is i am upgrading/ migrating my database and this database don't work with more then 1 database or the application does not work with more then 1 databases.
I ask the apps team all they say is that they are also not too sure. Thus need help/ advice.

    Daniel,
In pre-8.1.7.4.0 beta implementations, your application server e.g. IIS or MTX.EXE hosts MTS transactional components. When such components acquire OLEDB or ODBC connections to Oracle and external service setup for that database i.e. OracleMTSService<id> joins the MTS transaction on behalf of the Oracle database which quite often runs on a non-Windows platform e.g. Solaris. We restrict each database to have one and only such service. This brings in scalability and availability issues. In 8.1.7.4.0 we have embedded the transaction join and commit logic in the clientside dll. There is no OracleMTSService<id> for a given database. The only service needed is a recovery service one per Windows machine on which Oracle Svcs For MTS is installed. This service is automatically created on installation of the product and doesn't connect to the databases. Instead the involved databases connect to the service via HTTP to resolve any MTS-related transactions that are in-doubt.

Will BEA continue to support current and future installations of WebLogic jDriver for Microsoft SQL Server 2000 even though BEA recommends to use the JDBC driver available from Microsoft? A written response is necessary in order to determine our future product development direction.
Thank you for your attention regarding this matter.

Actually, this driver is already documented as deprecated. We intended to remove it from a future
release (most likely, the release after WLS 8.1).
The plan is to ship another driver out-of-the-box. We have been evaluating various drivers
for features, quality, and performance. We are pushing very hard to have this replacement
driver available in 8.1SP01, which will also ship with the WLI/Portal/WLW GA (announced to
ship in July). The most likely candidate is already in testing both at the WLS level and
with the layered products. It also did quite well in an internal performance comparison.

not do any more development on it, such as implementing any JDBC 2.0 methods. It will be in
our next major release (8), but may not be in future ones.

There's a pre-release build of the exchange collector available for
    2010, just contact NTS.
If you need a full formal release, we're looking to have 2010 and 2013
    support by approximately mid-year.

  • How can i config Oracle Services for Microsoft Transaction Server in  9.2

how can i config Oracle Services for Microsoft Transaction Server in 9.2

There's nothing to configure on the client side. On the database side you just need to run a script once to setup an ORAMTS admin account and some other infrastructure.

  • MS14-055 security update for Microsoft Lync Server 2010

    hello
after applying this security update do I need to Apply it to the back end database? or is that just when regular patches are applied?

    Hi totalnet32,
    From http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2493736, we know that
"After you install the update for the Core Components server role on a Lync Server 2010 Enterprise Edition front end server, the updated SQL database files are dropped to the computer that has the Core Components server role installed. This
also applies to a Lync Server 2010 Standard Edition server. To apply the database changes, run the following cmdlets:
Install-CsDatabase -Update -ConfiguredDatabases -SqlServerFqdn <EEBE.Fqdn> -UseDefaultSqlPaths

There's no Core Components server role update, as far as my experience, the DB update is not required.
And I suggest that reboot the Lync Servers once after the updates have been installed.
    Best regards,
    Eric
