Sun SPARC Enterprise T5120 GUI not working

Dear Professional,
I have new Sun SPARC Enterprise T5220 and i am booting this server to get GUI to access my installed application. but i am getting ok prompt it is not giving me access to GUI login windows.
Sun server details are:
Platform type: Sun SPARC Enterprise T5220
OS release: Solaris 10
Serial # Bel09100ux
Your suggestion can fix my problem..!!

It's problem found same bus on T5140 becouse this server have different architecture.

I can't boot from cdrom at Sparc Enterprise T5120.

I bought junk Sparc Enterprise T5120 at auction.
It seems to be a good condition. But It can't boot from cdrom.
When I try to boot, console return bellow.
After that I wait an hour. But console returns no response.

Internet Explorer 11 "Enterprise Mode" do not work or do not work correctly!

Since yesterday we test the Feature "Enterprise Mode" for "Internet Explorer 11". However, we have many problems
with this Feature. We have configured it as described by officially instruction by MS, but it does not work
properly. Here is what we have done exactly to test this Feature:
In Registry Key " HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Policies \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer \ Main \ Enterprise Mode " we have created the Entry " Site List " and create the string " Enable" . In the
String "Enable" we have added no value .
In Case of String "Site List" , we have specified the path to the XML file , as value of this String.
The XML file was created with the Site List Manager from Microsoft
And now, we regocnized following Problems:
The "Enterprise Mode" ist only "active", if the User(!) check "Enterprise Mode" under "Tools"...!
The site list is seemingly ignored, although in the Registry "currentversion" is pulled correctly, everytime we change
the XML File. So we think "SiteList" is configured well.
On one of our test computer freezes Internet Explorer 11 , if you try to hook the corporate mode
In Summary, it seems to be configured properly but it even do not work or not work correctly.
Our goal would be:
Enterprise Mode + access to the Site List by IE11 should be "on" by Default!
Entrys of sitelist.XML should be filtered and shown in "Enterprise Mode" or/and the right "DocMode", as configured.
The user should have no chance to check on or off the"enterprise mode"
We use "Windows 7" on all our Clients, as test Clients are also running the same operating System...

According to your description, seems the end-users can manually turn on\off the enterprise mode, If you don''t want this, you can disable the option.
Computer(User) Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Internet Explorer\Let users turn on and use Enterprise Mode from the Tools menu option
Disable this option, user will not have "Enterprise Mode" under "Tools", after that, please run gpupdate /force to update the policy, and get "Use the Enterprise Mode IE website list" applied again in the target system.
After that, the enterprise mode website list get applied again, and user don't have an option to disable it.

Sun SPARC Enterprise M4000 Server as Oracle db server?

we're considering to replace our Sun Fire V490 Servers with newer generation of Oracle SUN Servers.
It's mentioned that next-generation product for V490 Servers is Sun SPARC M4000.
Do you have any experience with M4000 as Oracle db servers?
Our systems are mostly OLTP based with batch processing overnight.
Database with about 150 concurrent users max.
What would be our best price/performance option?

2x SunFire v490 , 8GB RAM , 2 (1x dual-port HBA) x 2Gb FC
What do you think about consolidation of those four v490 servers on two Intel 7500 based X4470 servers?
Intel 7500 X4470 is strong enough to handle workload of two SunFire v490 servers?
Same question related to Sparc VII+ M4000 server - can this server handle workload of two SunFire v490's?

Crystal Enterprise Web Timeout not working

I am having trouble administering a crystal reports 10 enterprise server with 5 concurrent licences. I don't know if the users are forgetting to logout and just closing the browser or if we really have an issue with reports not closing their concurrent session once the report is finished. So, in review. 1 How can I make sure the timeouts are working? 2 How can i change the timeout value to a lower number? I tried setting the -defaultsessiontimeout to 5 in hopes is would resolve the issue but it still exists.

Nobody has any ideas of why users logging in to the CMC web interface and then accidently closing out of IE without clicking logoff, would cause a concurrent license to be used up until the services were restarted. Surely there is a timeout value or setting i am missing somewhere that would log them out after a certain period of inactivity.

Html Gui not working

Dear eXperts,
i want to enable sap gui for html. For this i've activated the following services from the transaction SICF:
1). /sap/public/bc/its/mimes
2). /sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui
3). /sap/public/ping
Also, on se 80->utilities ive set Integrated ITS under the publish tab.
after that i've also published "webgui" and "system", as complete service.
now when i try to Test the service in SICF, the browser says:

The browser is showing the correct link since im going directly through the "Test Service" from transaction SICF.
and yes, i do use the proxy server to connect to the internet. I've tried blocking the Domain Controller IP in the Proxy Exception list, and what i assume by "ABAP host" is DEV (in my case ) so yes, i've tried placing that in the exception list too but none is working

Im sorry but im a newbie, and i don't know much about icman.However ive tried eliminating the DNS and proxy server too...but the issue is still there.
I've also tried disabling my proxy in total, but no result.

Time Machine GUI not working

I have an odd issue with time machine: it can backup my system to my second drive just fine, but the gui will not load. When I click the time machine icon in the dock it attempts to center the desktop window but then freezes. Thus, it does not load the background so I can view the various backups by time. I'm thinking the issue is due to my old graphics card, since time machine works perfect with my 2 G4 minis. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My specs are:
Powermac G4 (AGP Graphics)
Sonnet 1.8 Ghz G4 Processor
512 MB of RAM
Sonnet PCI SATA controller card
ATI Rage 128 Pro Graphics 16 MB AGP

GUI not working anymore after installing of ABAP preview

Hi,
I have sapgui 6.40 installed on my computer.
Now after installing the Netweaver Preview ABAP stack (the installation worked fine) I cannot start my sapgui anymore.
I get a messagebox with the following message:
"The procedure entry point RfcResetTraceDir could not be located in the dynamic link library LIBRFC32.dll".
The current version of the LIBRFC32.dll in the system32 directory is 7.xx.
I replaced it with an 6.xx version, but it didnt help.
As far as I know the RFC dll is up- and downwards compatible, so I cant explain this error.
Any suggestions ?

Now I deinstalled SAPGUI from my system and reinstalled the 6.40 version.
But I get still the same error. Whats the problem. Why is the Netweaver Preview messing up my GUI installation ??

CP5.5 quiz in Flash GUI not working...

I have a project that includes a number of CP SWFs in a Flash GUI...but the quizzes don't work...or should I say, don't completely work...
For instance, score tracking, results page, review, work just fine...but questions with dropdown menus, the dropdowns don't work so the question can't be answered...the e-mail for test results doesn't work...and for the record, I did publish as EXE and everything...and I mean everything worked perfectly...so the file is setup properly...
Does anyone know if there is a trick to "loading" a CP SWF into a Flash-based GUI (or more actually into another SWF) that would enable ALL of the Captivate functionality?

UCCX 7.0 - Set Enterprise Call Info not working

I had inherited a set up of IPCC 3.5.2 which was passing reference numbers to the agent desktop program which the users had typed into a collect digit prompt section and stored in a variable (in this case v_referenceNumber). I want to take that information and pass it on into the CAD (Cisco Agent Desktop). We are using UCCX 7.0.1(SR5).
The script we were using previously was upgraded upon opening it in the editor as expected but instead of a simple set enterprise data section like was in the script previously I now have an "IF" statement for each one of those sections of the script where the set enterprise call info is. I have been looking through the three scripting guides and found the Enterprise Expanded Call Context (ECC) section where I think I need to be but I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Personally I would like to Scrap the IF statements entirely and just move the Set Enterprise Call Info steps up under the Selected tree and delete the IF statements entirely, which is what I am playing with now.
Anybody know what I might be doing wrong? For example, I am not sure in the set enterprise call info section under Expanded Call Variables, when I click on add or modify an existing, my value is v_referenceNumber and the name is user.reference I had defined previously, BUT, under Array Index and Token, do I need to specify anything? Specifically with Token, am I supposed to put in the Field index number for the variable as defined in the Side A section of the Desktop Administrator Field List? Why they would move this from a simple application to the web tool they have is boggling, it seems to lock me out when I am the only one logged in if I am not careful. Pet peeve though.
Anyway, any guidance is appreciated, 3.5 was simple to put it mildly, and things just worked.

But each one of the Enterprise Call Info steps is named user.layout, or you just need the user.layout once and the value would tie to the UCCX backend value of default or whatever your layout list was called? So, to recap:
1) Don't use the default layout due to potential upgrade changes down the road from Cisco.
2) If you are just using UCCX like I am, I can skip creating Enterprise variables in the editor's settings menu.
3) On the Set Enterprise Call Info > Expanded Call Variables Section, the names column is case sensitive and should be contained in quotes, and the value will be my variable I am transferring.
4) I can set multiple variables in one step right? This would be more efficient than multiple set steps or are there other factors in using one vs 4?
@Jonathan: You mentioned in your article that the Values column should be quoted as well but if I hit my dropdown and choose v_CallType (one of my variables obviously), its not quoted. Will this cause the script to fail? Should I go back and quote it?
Sorry to beat this topic but I have a limited testing period each day and if I don't get it close or right on the money it will be forced to wait more to get another shot at it. I guess that brings up the need for a testing queue then... Next time around.

This libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2 should be somewhere on your distributon CD's. I'm not familar with RH, so I can't tell you where you should search.
Anyway, if you won't suceed, you may search for file "libstdc++-libc6.x-x.so.2" or similar and create a soft link to it wih name of "libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2". This way you will cheat JVM, by telling it you have 6.1-1 installed, while your version is different.

GUI not working... CLI is working fine in Solaris 10 OS

Hello,
I have X4500 running Solaris 10. I can access it through CLI but I cannot see the GUI. When I reboot it, the GUI works till all the files are loaded (ie., the initial boot sequence) and it prompts me to enter username and password and there it ends. The screen just has a blinking cursor and I can see no further.

RH8 Hyperlink GUI not working on external links

Weird one, only on one of our machines!
Clicking OK in the Hyperlink window does nothing if an external project file is selected (fine for an internal file). Entering the link manually is fine (works in Preview and output). However, the problem remains if you double click that link and select another external file in the Hyperlink window.
We've restarted RH and restarted the machine. Next will be a complete shutdown/startup of the machine, then probably an uninstall/install of RH, I guess.
Any insight, folks?

UPDATE FINAL
Previous uninstall had not sufficiently cleaned out the HKEY ... Software registry settings (as per this posting).
We cleaned up, reinstalled, and all is right in the kingdom!

at last I installed the SAP ECC6.0 on Windows 2003 (stand alone) with Oracle 10G database.
I installed the SAP GUI , when I am trying to loging from SAP GUI clients 000 and 001 with SAP* and DDIC user accounts I am naot able to login . please give me the how to configure this .

You should set "login/no_automatic_user_sapstar=0", in the SAP profile. With ECC 6.0, default sapstar user deactivated. You can take a look at OSS note #68048, for detailed information.
