sunbeam core contact freezer with msi 890fx gd 65
anyone using this cooler mobo combo?
I am wondering if it will clear the components on this board?

The Crucial you see in my signature would be good and not much money to purchase.
Or even this this kit, I can't believe it's $8 less than what I have:

  • MSI K9A2CF-F freezes with MSI NX8400GT and NX8500GT

    Hi, all
I've a brand new mainboard K9A2CF-F with an AMD Phenom 9500 and a NX8400GR video card. Windows is running fine but when using 3D the machine freezes, sometimes it also freezes with 2D activities. Today I changed the card for a NX8500GT-TD512Eh but I've got the same problem. When I put a Ge-force 6200 in my computer the machine runs fine but this card is pretty slow.
Things I did, reinstalled windows, latest updates, latest nvidia driver, bios upgrade to v1.2, vga bios was allready the latest, changes psu with a heavier one.
Now i've got the vga card in the second pcie slot and strange enough the computer is running now for almost 30 minutes. Maybe is it something with running at 16x. But what could this be that the machine crashes at 16x?

Can it be the PSU? It's now running the whole evening in the PCIe 8x slot without any crash. Is it consuming more power when running at 16x speed bus?
First tested PSU is an Mtek 350Watt.
    3V = 14A
    5V = 30A
    12V = 15A
The other one is an SumVision 400W
    3.3V = 26A
    5V = 30A
    12V = 15A
They indeed have the same 12V current of 15A.
At the moment in the machine
1x MSI K9A2CF with Pehnom 9500 (bios in fail safe settings)
    1x MSI NX8500GT
    1x DDR PC6400 2GB
    1x SATA2 harddrive
    1x DVD player
    1x casefan
at last i'm running dual screens but it also freezes when running a single monitor

  • Calendar & Contacts "freeze" with Mountain Lion

New Mountain Lion installation on 27 inch Imac from SL (also moved to ICloud from Mobile Me).  I have both calendar and contacts freezing all the time- I cannot even use the "address book" now called "contacts".  Icloud is spinning all the time on contacts trying to sync.  And all of the addresses I had on my mac are not there- it is all on Icloud - not what I wanted to see. With Mobile Me, you could designate how you wanted to sync- was the computer the master or the cloud.  Icloud just tries to take over.   My Imac has 20 GB ram - I should not have a power issue.  I would like my Imac to have the master file - not Icloud.
When I click on something in the calendar- it takes almost 5 minutes or NEVER to get into it- I am constantly sending out crash reports.  I cannot edit my calendar, I cannot get into the address book.  Calendar is crashing on my IPad too.  But Contacts are Ok on the IPad.   So it is defintely a Mountain Lion issue with the Contacts program.  Mail is slow too. Lots of hesitation before you can look at any of the mail.  Again, with 20GB of ram on a new IMac, the applications shoudl be lightning quick.
I have an address book backup prior to buying my new IMAC- Is there a way to get rid of this file and go back to the old one and start over?  How can I designate the IMac as the master file?

I had this problem. It was caused by me choosing to sync Calendar with iCloud when I did the ML install but not changing the setting on my iPhone. You have to use iCloud for both devices or none. I chose not to use iCloud for either but to get things working again you will need to jump though some hoops if you are in the same position I was in.
You will need to enable iCloud on your phone for Calendars as well as your MB and sync both to the cloud and merge the two calendars onto the Cloud.
Then export each of your calendars in Calendar on your MB to a .ics file using the File/Export command in Calendar. I don't think you can use the Archive option as this will duplicate settings as well and will put you back on the cloud as you move through the next steps.
Disable the iCloud setting for Calendar on your MB under Settings/iCloud. This will delete all your Calendar data on your MB.
Import the .ics files back in to Calendar.
Disable the iCloud setting for Calendar on your iPhone
Sync via iTunes and you should be good to go.

With the CPU Core Ratios in CPU Features back to Auto or their default, set the Adjust CPU Ratio to 43X at first just to test it for POST completion, OS loading and stability. Turbo and Enhanced Turbo could be set to disabled. Internal PLL to enabled. Try VDroop in Auto or it's other available setting. CPU PLL to 1.82v's - 1.84v's, EuP 2013, Spread Spectrum, and Overspeed Protection keep disabled. Reset the CPU Features power and duration limits back up to the previous settings as discussed.
As you said, there is a problem with the BIOS version. I tried to overclock with CPU Ratio method, unsatisfactorily. setting the CPU Ratio at 40 the system fail.
I recently tried with OC Genie Button, but the Frecuency doesn't go above 3.7Ghz, but the CPU Ratio Limit is set in 42.

    Hello
I have updated the bios of my motherboard Z68A-GD65 B3 with the lastest version
the OC menu has new options and my OC don't go above 4.2Ghz
    there are some screenshot
    Spread Spectrum=Disable
    CPU PLL Voltage=1.65
    Execute Disable bit=Enable
    Intel virtualization tech=Enable
    Power technology= Energy Efficient
    C1E support= enable
    Overspeed protection=disable
    core ratios=45
what would you recomend me set in Long duration power, maintained, short duration etc?
because the OC only goes to 4.2Ghz.

  • Overclocking E4300 Core 2 duo with Msi 945gm3-f motherboard

I decided to build a machine for a client and tried to overclock this setup with no luck. Tried to adjust the fsb by about 25 mhz and the machine started to reboot and adjusted itself back to the default settings. Does anybody have any experience with overclocking this board, because evidently it does not support even moderate overclocking. I am not looking to get a radical overclock but maybe 2.4 ghz out of this. Right now the speed is 1.8 ghz. My board is running bios revision 5.3. Any help is appreciated.

First, please read the moan guide. Very little information you provide. NEed to know full system spec then to see what's the overclocking bottleneck.
2nd, building system for client, better to stick with default speed. Otherwise client blew up system and you held accountable.

  • Help please - Contacts freezes when I try to edit distribution lists

When I try to edit the addresses distribution list for a group, Contacts freezes with a spinning beachball. I've tried exporting the group as a CSV file, trashing the entire Address Book folder in Library > Application Support, launching Contacts and importing the CSV file, but this hasn't helped.
Editing distribution lists in Address Book / Contacts has been problematic since at least Lion. Seems like Contacts development was foisted off on a handful of green interns a long time ago.
Can anyone suggest an iCloud- & iPhone-compatible third-party contacts manager with some back-end muscle? Cobook is a nice front-end, but it doesn't solve my problem.

Well, I found that it doesn't actually freeze - it just takes 20 minutes or so to respond. This with a database of about 3,700 contacts. It also takes 5 minutes or so to accept the renaming of a smart group.
Who in **** built this thing? And, why are they spending more time on simulating fake leather and taking away and then restoring 3-panel view than on making this a halfway decent database?
Sadly, the only contacts app I can find that seems to have a robust back end is made by - Microsoft. Sad.

  • MSI 890FX GD70 Core Unlock doesn't POST

I have a 555 Phenom II Black Edition 3.2ghz but using core unlock on the 1.6 bios in MSI 890FX GD70 makes the mobo not post. Is there any solutions to this?
Also I have windows 7 installation problems (won't finish "completing installation") part.

You can try, but as said, if it doesnt work now, it probably never will.
Please read the link provided in my previous post, I explained all there is.
Bottom line, your dualcore works fine, but unlocking doesnt work on it, so your other cores are not functioning right and make your system go bananas, so stick with the dualcore.
If you do update bios, read here for a safe way:

With my MacBook Pro 17" with Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.33 GHz startup freeze with 10.6.8 - I had problems after several SW upgrades. Startup ends every time in a freeze or a crash, nothing is running, i am not able to type in the password. it starts in beginning with thin colored disrupting lines on the display and this get more and more and than freeze the system.
"Save Boot", startup with shift shows no problems, display is ok, no freeze. So something must new in the video-driver. Is there any driver what I can delete or any new software to help in this issue?

try to boot off the cd installazzione, when the screen appears to follow thePACKING screen viewing. If you've already looked in the manual are your problem?

  • BSOD with MSI Z87-GD65 motherboard on Intel Core I5

    Hi,
I'm having a recurring problem since i've installed the MSI motherboard described on subject.
I was using Photoshop Elements and listening to Youtube videos on background. Others BSOD that i had before had the particularity of using YouTube too on Google Chrome.
I already upgraded BIOS to the latest version and other device drivers as well. I even CLEAR CMOS but the problem remains.
I think it isn't an heat problem since i'm on watercooling.
I've test the memory with memtest in 9 passes. Memtest showed 0 (zero) errors.

I'm seriously pointing to the PSU. I only have an old LC Power 560w which drives 18A on both 12v rails. I will see if it does the job, temporarily.
It happened again with another PSU in the same environment (listen to youtube videos and surfing the net with Google chrome). So i excluded the PSU from the defective hardware list. It could be from the cpu, board, ram or vga.

  • Recent Conversation with MSI and Neo4 overclocking "thing"

I had a recent email transaction with MSI if anyone is interested. I tried my best to represent the group, and I know we all experience the problem a little bit different which is why it has been hard to explain and fix. I tried to give them the best info to duplicate the issue in the lab. It seems clear at this point that MSI still isn't duplicating the issue. They are using 166 Mem Clock Index, and the HT freq of 3x and still not understanding the issue, hopefully I have gave them a guide to duplicate what we have been trying to say. Yes I have explained this to MSI before but I really feel I am getting somewhere with my last 2 emails. Once we get them to duplicate the results then I think we will all have our solution shortly. Before anyone says anything negative, at least they aren't saying, oh that's an overclocking problem we don't deal with that. Also remember how long it has taken to get many people to see the issue, this isn't easy to understand so just stay cool, don't say negative sh-t if you reply and we'll see how this pans out. It was actully kind of hard since I am sitting in a hotel room 500 miles away from the motherboard but I was able to use modbin6 to view the BIOS and since I have done this about 7 zillion times I remember the settings LMAO. They have their Venice to 2750, not bad...
    Hello MSI Engineer,
The information you requested. The data you sent shows a Venice running at 166 Memclock index value at HT at 3x, the goal is to run at 200 Memclock Index and HT at 4x. In order to duplicate this issue in the lab here is my recommendation. It MUST be tried with a CBBID Winchester RevD CPU and a Venice Rev E CPU and the Gskill memory you have in dual channel. The issue happens everytime with a CBBID Winchester and less often with Venice.
Starting with the Venice 3500+, Set the following in BIOS
    [Memclock Index] 200
    [CAS# latency (Tcl)] 3
    [Min RAS active] 11
    [RAS to CAS delay] 6
    [Row Precharge] 6
    [User config mode] manual
    [bottom of 32 bit] (default)
    [1T/2T] 1T
    [Read Preamble] 6ns (default)
    [Async Latency] 6ns (default)
    [S/W mem hole] Disable (default)
    [H/W mem hole] Disable (default)
    [MTRR mapping] Continuous (default)
    [High Performance] manual
    [Agreessive timing] Disable
    [Dynamic Overclocking] Disable
    [Adjust CPU FSB Frequency] 200
    [HT Frequncy] 4
[HT Width] 16 up 16 down
    [CPU Spread] Disable
    [SATA Spread] Disable
    [PCI Spread] Disable
    [PCIe Clock] 101
    [SSE/SSE2] Enable
    [CnQ] Disable
    [CPU Ratio] 11x
    [Adjust CPU VID] 1.45
[Extra CPU Voltage] your choice for stability
[Mem Volt] your choice for stability
[NF4 Volt] your choice for stability
Now boot into Windows. Using Clockgen, increase HTT to 250. This should be stable based on your screen shot and your RAM modules. Now having a CPU 2750Mhz, RAM at 250Mhz, and a HT of 4x250(1000). Test for stablity with Prime95 or other Stress Testing tool. Now we can say motherboard is stable at 2750Mhz CPU, 250Mhz RAM, and HT 4x250(1000). Now return to the BIOS at set the following
    [Adjust CPU FSB Frequency] 250
This reults in a no POST condition for me and others. Now install the CBBID, except you will have to set a lower CPU max speed based on CBBID overclocking potential. In the BIOS, Return [Adjust CPU FSB frequency] to 200, Perhaps [CPU ratio] of 10x or 9x but a [Memory Clock Index] 200Mhz. Boot to Windows and use Clockgen to raise HTT to 250 again. Once you find a [CPU Ratio] that will have a STABLE overclock with a 250HTT. Return to the BIOS and set [Adjust CPU FSB Frequency] to 250. Try and POST. Try this experiment with the 3.1, 3.3, and 3.4 BIOS's. For the CBBID and the 3.1 BIOS you should be able to change the [HT Freq] to 3x, 2x or 1x and get a POST with [FSB Freq] 250, [Memclock Index] 200, and a known stable [CPU Ratio] you found in Windows. The 3.3, and 3.4 BIOS have made this work around not possible. Why does [HT Freq] 4x work in windows but not at POST time?
As a side note. The 1.3 BIOS for the 7125 works with the Venice, and the 1.4 and 1.5 do NOT. So somewhere between the 1.3 and 1.4 MSI created the issue on the Venice. Perhaps that is where you can find the answer and solution to the problem.
Here are some articles that describe the issue on a ECS and Chaintech board that were remidied by a BIOS update. So the problem is not uncommon and should be able to be fixed.

Here is some other users data of NF4 SLI and Ultra MSI Neo4's if you want to see some other BIOS settings.
    https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=81364.0
Here is a screen shot of my Neo4 Plat SLI (MS-7100) 3.1 BIOS and CBBID Winchester(The Venice will NOT POST at all above [Adj CPU Freq] ~219-229 under any situation but is stable in Windows at HTT 250 with Clockgen). The system is stable and POST's when [HT Freq] is 3x, it will NOT at [HT freq] 4x which is stable in windows but won't POST.
    http://home.comcast.net/~aicjofs/cbbidMSI2501.jpg
Here is another screenshot of the Asus A8N Plat SLI with all peripherals the same. Only changed the motherboard. This is POSTing at [HT Freq] 4x. This is just as a reference that the components do indeed POST with [Adjust FSB freq] 250, [Memclock Index] 200, and [HT Freq] 4x. This board will POST both my 3200+ Venice and Winchester CBBID at the settings described above.
    http://home.comcast.net/~aicjofs/cbbid250asus1.jpg
The following are my BIOS settings that will create a non-POST condition, but the board is stable at these settings when ADJUSTED FROM WINDOWS.
    [ADVANCED BIOS]
    [Gate A20] Enable
    [APIC] Enable
    [MPS Table] 1.4
    [Boot OS2] No
    [ADVANCED CHIPSET]
    [System BIOS Cacheable] Disabled
    for newer BIOS
[SLI Brodcast apeture] Whatever default is.
    [INTEGRATE PERIPHERALS]
[Onboard IDE 0 and 1] Enabled all channels in Auto
    [IDE DMA] Enabled
    [SATA 1,2,3,4] Enabled
    [IDE PREFETCH] Enabled

Good news and good work guy's
On a side note to chakkasol....
are you using coolbits 1 or 2?
I heard that coolbits2 is the one for our later cards
Good question - coolbits 2.  I happened to take a chance from this website and downloaded this file...ran it up against my antivirus and antispyware software and it looked clean.  I simply ran the program and viola, coolbits functionality automatically added to the winxp registry.  I cleaned out the msi DOT drivers first before I loaded this program.  Even though I have tweaked on occasion the winxp registry to speed things up and make winxp shut down quicker, this was too complicated for me to do on my own.
The highest overclock with the MSIs DOT is 11% at 555/1100.  My MSI card is actually very stable at 580/1160 for a 16% overclock.  I have gotten it to 600/1200 but I usually run the coolbits stability program a few times and it has never failed at 580/1160.  I am sure if I had a better cooling system than the stock fan it would probably go to 600/1200 or higher.  At a 3DMark05 of 4133 (and much higher if I could get it stable at 600/1200, I would be bumping up against the stock speeds of the 6800s vid cards.
EDIT: Of course, if you download this coolbits 2 program you do so at your own risk...I take no responsibility for the download.
    The coolbits download:

The MSI 6600gt card that I purchased:
    http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=321916
btw, I have ordered more stuff from ZZF than newegg...they seem cheaper (but dont always have the stock of newegg) and the stuff gets here 1 day sooner usually (west coast to east coast USA).

Make sure that the memory timings are not set to 4-4-4-x but that they are set to the defaults values (5-5-5-x).  Also ensure, that the memory clock speed is not set to anything higher than 400 MHz (=DDR2-800).  The voltage at these settings should not need to exceed 1.95V.  So please lower it accordingly.  In case the freezes still occure, please run memtest86+ to check your memory for errors.

Please get rid of that tool for all further tests.  Uninstall it completely from your system as it is known to cause crashes and freezes on its own terms when running.

  • Many problems with MSI Control Center

    have a lot MSI mobo
    I still P45 & P45 Diamond Memory lover.
the problem of their old dual core center was that sometimes bug "debug assertion failed" came ..
    but now I have 5 mobo 1155:
    msi Z77
    msi b75
    msi z68
    msi H67
    msi h61
in all of these motherboards, the start of the OS, the latest version of control center never keeps the settings that I have saved as a "default"!
for example, the Z77 does not maintain the memory for the fan cpu, while fan1 & fan2 are active, but not to the minimum value that I had memorized ..
the z68 instead only stores the value of the cpu fan
the H67 does not store anything ..
    and also the other way!
indicted versions of MSI CC are those where the adjustment of the fans is not only numeric, but also with the graph ..
I seem to recall that older versions of CC II without the graphics did not have so many problems in the management of the fans (but I'm not sure about this)
I do not know if I'm wrong something in the settings of the BIOS, or the software itself!
and I wonder if the ControlCenter has a bug so big, that users do not make a mass protest to the manufacturer directly!
I hope you can help me positively.
I am very disappointed with this software MSI, I would be a little desire to leave my beloved brand ...
    thanks
    max
p.s. I can understand for the "old" h61/h61, but it is absurd that the Z77 motherboards & b75 does not have control of all the connectors on the PCB Tachometer & PWM ... not to mention the z68 should be the most valuable of all
(as opposed to other manufacturers that optimize much better implementation "fan control")

You have been around here long enough to know this is a user to user community and can't do anything about BIOS or S/W problems.
With 16 MSI machines here in the hobby/test room, not one has CC or LU5 on them. For machines I want to control any fans on, I simply install an aftermarket fan controller to do the job. You might try the SpeedFan utility. That seems to be popular.
Talk of jumping brands falls on deaf ears here, and is your choice because of unhappiness with optional S/W.
yes, I have been long enough, but the forums are also used to find solutions ..
maybe some user could answer to me better than you, do not you think?
and this forum is not managed directly by MSI lately?
use a fan controller is not a solution to the problem!
you can not really think that just because you use the external controller.
if MSI creates software with the same problem on all chipsets,
then MSI should fix this software!
otherwise does not produce even, which is less disappointment around.
for my opinion then check the BIOS is much better than using anti-aesthetic Rheobus ..
optional S / W is part of the motherboard itself, while SpeedFan is a third-party utility ... the situation is the same..
I will open a ticket, but it is absurd that MSI does not realize that their own software has this great Bug ..
you say you can not be faulted, and instead I think yes.
    especially if you love MSI.
I with 7 Mobo MSI + 6 VGA MSI I can say I devoted customer, and always recommendMSI products to all around..
all software MSI are good, afterburned, video genie, fast boot, and also the ControlCenter II for the management of the cpu and ram is good software!
my anger is that there is only this damn small bug in the software fan control, and I do not understand that the manufacturer and users (inside and outside the forum) do nothing to have a solution!

Why this sudden realisation that you are missing something on all the MSI boards that you acquired over the years.
Did you ever inform MSI about this at the time that you purchased each and every board ?
the reason is my laziness to contact customer support (and laziness to write here) that I missed until now.
is because with P45 diamond7memory lover Customer Support could not solve the problem.
and because H67 & h61 htpc that are in use a short time
and because z68 erain bench test that used very little time (due to living with my girlfriend) and I have to resell soon.
but now that I have just arrived Z77 & B75 I want to solve this problem.
and if I decided now-finally-maybe I had more important things to do, but now I realized that it is not possible that all boards have bad dialogue with MSI ControlCenter!

  • Core i7 2600k and msi z68a-gd55 b3 acting up and lagging on me

HI, I just built a new gaming rig and for the life of me, I can't figure out why im getting lag and im not impressed coming from a P4 Dual core.. OK here's my setup
Core 17 2600k with CoolMaster Heat Sink
    MSI Z68A-GD55  B3 mobo
    4x4gb DDR3 1600 Corsair Vengeance Ram 9-9-9-24 Total 16Gbs
EVGA GTX 560TI 2Gb Video Card
CORSAIR GAMING SERIES 800 Watt 65a on the 12v Rail
(ONLY USING ONE HDD    GOT 2 HDD'S TO TROUBLESHOOT TO SEE IF ITS THE HDD)
CURRENTLY IN USE FOR MAIN HDD   1 Seagate Barracuda 7200 rpm 1TB HDD
1 Western Digital Cavier Black 7200 rpm 2TB HDD
Running on Windows 7 Ultimate x64
So i install the OS and updated all my drivers and for all hardware and updated the BIOS and i got everything stock in the BIOS, No overclocking yet and when im just surfing the web or open up an app, I get this annoying lag and my CPU load and Memeory load will be at 0-5% and it will effing lag... Now i changed out everything thinking it was the problems, down to the Ram 3x's, CPU 1x, Motherboard 3x's (I'm even coming from a different board thinking, that was the the problem. Since i read alot of bad reviews on it.. AN INTEL DP67BG Extreme Series board and come over to the MSI im currently using ) and  my PSU 1x.. and nothing fixed it.. When i run a CPU Stress test it comes back with no ERRORS... Now when i do a Memory Test in the BIOS of the mobo.. It will PASS, no problem.. but if i run it in MEMTEST86 it will FAIL right away.. Then when i test each stick 1 by 1 in BIOS they PASS, NO PROBLEM, But not in Memtest86... So i bought 2 Pairs of 4 new sticks 2 different times.. the same kind of Ram, "which are compatible with this board" and the same thing happens with the lastest MSI BIOS i'll test them with the Memory Tester From BIOS, all 4 sticks and 1 by 1 and then 2 sticks for dual channel in slot 1 nearest CPU and slot 3 and they will PASS but when i try with Memtest86 they FAIL... So i dont think its the Ram cuz 3 different sets are Failing... i  highly doubt it's hardware anymore...  Agree?
Can someone PLEASE HELP ME..! I've been working on this build for 2 straight weeks day and night and i have a bad taste in my mouth over this build. this isnt my first one either and i never, never, ever had theses problems before... i'm about to quit and go back to a p4 dual.. But i don't like to quit and want to feel the power of a i7 2600k that everyone swears by...
please lead me to fixing this... if you can email me for one on one support id compensate you for your time..       [email protected]
BTW i brought it by geek squad and they couldnt figure it out either... but he didnt know his  from his elbow  lol
    Thank you, Marco

ok so the WD is still doing it but not as bad as the seagate was! as for UEFI/BIOS im on 22.8 loaded with default setting except for the dram voltage now, and it was set at 1.4 something i changed it to 1.5 like you said and that help some but i still get lag here and there showing up when moving the mouse with is a microsoft wireless 4000
update so after setting it to 1.52v in bios im noticing  when typing i get freeze up with the cursor and when i open apps the hour glass is appearing at longer then normal even for a p4 chip
any other ideas why is this becoming a nightmare with my hardware can you give me a run down on what everything should be set to in bios.. cuz it looks like default settings are off and im having video card issues but that's for another forum but im thinking they all tie in together..
thank you so much for helping me looks like no one cares to help a fellow builder out.. but when its them in my shoes there quick to beat dowm the door for answers... sorry im just frustated  that over a grand invest and my smartphone feels snappier and responsive then this build.. oh i ya check cpu and the board for mis seated chip and bent pins and correct amount of good paste and heat sink seated and torqued down correctly.. so im not sure anymore  im sooo i just want to

  • How To Check The Core Chipset in my MSI 9800 ?

    Hi,
    Can Anybody help please?
    ====================================================
I live in Israel . Everybody in the professional forums here know the "miracle" of your MSI 9800 PRO Core . = It suppose to be the R360(9800 XT's Core) instead of the R350(the normal 9800 PRO's Core) . Now, I saw screenshots in forums taken by the owners of these cards (9800PRO) which actually showed in R360 Core inside, it's also was written on the Core itself when removing the heatsink !
BUT, What I've got was the same card, a R360 note on the core, but the problem was that NONE of the programs I tried (Sisoft Sandra,Everest,Aida32,Drivers properties)- None of them recognized it as the R360-(XT), but as the regular R350-(PRO) only! ! !
    ========================================================
After many talking with the local dealer he suggested to replace it, but asked me to seek the reply of you as the prove that I've tried everything I can to try and Identify the CORE and that that it's not an R360 . . .but a R350 ! ! !

There is no official Tech Support here.
Suggestions on posting and getting better answers
You will have to contact your local MSI office directly, either via e-mail or by telephone.
You say you have looked at the actual chip onboard YOUR card and it says the R360? Can you take a picture of the card?
The newer red PCB cards have only the 350 core. It's the green one's that supposedly had the XT core.
I suspect even though the card is labled as a pro, a batch may have been made with the XT core becasue the 350 was not available. The card was not advertised as an XT so if you get an XT, that is great, if not, then you got what you paid for anyway...unfortunately.
