SunFire V490: Exactly what features are "Not supported"?

Hello, I saw the system matrix state that "Not all features are supported for the Sun Fire V490 Server". Does anyone know exactly what features are, or are not supported on the V490?

I believe it is referring to the firmware management. The RSC systems have somewhat limited abilities within Ops Center.
From an OS perspective, all features would be supported - patching, provisioning, zone management, etc.

  • How do I find out what features are not useful in my Classifier?

How do I find out what features are not useful in my Classifier? I am trying to trim down the number of features to speed up the training of my data, I have about 3700 features. I have found the Filter Based Feature Selection Module and have not been successful
in using it. I have looked through all the examples and have not been able to find any examples using the module. Will the Filter Based Feature Selection Module help me to trim features. If so how do I use it?

One way to do this would be is to use a random forest classifier. Feature/variable importance can be obtained relatively easily with random forests.
Here is how you may do it in R.
    > install.packages('randomForest') #install randomForest package in R if it is not already there
    > library(randomForest) # reference the library
    > data(mtcars) # load motor cars data that ships with
    #train a random forest
    > mtcars.rf <- randomForest(mpg ~ ., data=mtcars, ntree=1000,keep.forest=FALSE, importance=TRUE)
    > importance(mtcars.rf)
    > importance(mtcars.rf)
#You will see an output like below
           %IncMSE IncNodePurity
    cyl  16.168645     169.96741
    disp 18.672188     260.08722
    hp   17.584375     184.95007
    drat  6.948743      63.54528
    wt   17.818509     254.30347
    qsec  4.772889      33.25546
    vs    5.303058      24.39064
    am    5.210181      17.36626
    gear  4.619161      21.55450
    carb  8.577037      28.46715
    # or plot the importance as follows
    > varImpPlot(mtcars.rf)
What this tells you is how important predictors/features/variables like horsepower(hp), weight(wt), no. of cylinders (cyl) is in predicting miles per gallon (mpg).
If you are wondering how the data looks like. Try this
head(mtcars) # gives first few lines of the data set.
mpg cyl disp  hp drat   wt ...
    Mazda RX4     21.0   6  160 110 3.90 2.62 ...
    Mazda RX4 Wag 21.0   6  160 110 3.90 2.88 ...
    Datsun 710    22.8   4  108  93 3.85 2.32 ...
    . Try this

  • Hello..when I download attachments from any email..iPages opens and says some features are not supported and cuts out photos and lengthens my attachments

hello..when I download attachments from any email..iPages opens and says some features are not supported and cuts out photos and lengthens my attachments

What format are the attachments? If Pages will not display them properly you will need an application that does. Pages usually opens word documents but can give problems at times, if they are MS Word documents, try Libre Office or failing that you may have to purchase MS Word for Mac, maybe you will need to buy the complete Office suite.
The other possiblity is that you already have a suitable application and Pages is loading the file by default, if so change the default application to open that file type.

  • What features are currently supported?

    Hello,
I am new to SAP Business Rules and I am interested in an overview of the currently supported functionalities provided by the EHP 1 NetWeaver CE 7.1 Business Rule Engine. I am a bit confused since the Yasu website seems to be no longer maintained and not all features have already been integrated into NW that have been provided by QuickRules.
I already found out that decision flows will be supported with EHP 2.
I give you a few examples, so you know the kind of information I am interested in:
    - support for decision trees
    - web-based BRMS that allows versioning of rule sets
    - access / authorization control for rule sets, to control who can modify them
    - support for DB data retrieval within rule conditions
    - support for accumulation functions within rule conditions
    - debugging or rules in the IDE (breakpoints, analysis of facts currently in the rule engine's working memory)
I guess this kind of information is somewhere around here, but I could not find it after 3 hours of browsing through the tutorials and info material.
Would be great if you point me to the right location.
    Many thanks,
    John

  • What features are not in the current iMacs?

I want to get a new iMac, but might wait until the next refresh. Curious though, besides a retina display and CD/BLU Ray, are there any other current mainstream technologies, or upcoming ones that are missing from the current gen iMacs?
    Thanks.

You say this as if Apple had a choice in the elimination of Rosetta in Lion, and now Mt. Lion.
When Lion and Mountain Lion were launched , one of the reasons given for the loss of Rosetta facility was that the technology of the new items was incompatible with that of the Lion family.    So we have to assume it was a decision by Apple not to renew the licence on those grounds.
T&C (new unexplained pop-ups ) prevent deeper speculation, and even this contribution may be cautioned.
Your first sentence is a non-sequiter so there is no point to rebut that Apple had no option to renew the license...
Your last sentence does not even rise up to the status of a non-sequiter; it just seems incomprehensible!

  • Help! Some features of Mac OS X Mavericks are not supported for the disk "Macintosh HD"

I'm on a MacBook 13" mid 2010, OS X 10.7.5, I want to upgrade to OS X Mavericks. I have searched around for a few days, I find people with the same problem but can't really get the solution for it. I prefer not to reinstall OS X, I want to upgrade. I don't have boot camp or something just a 250 GB HD.
Well, while I'm trying to upgrade from the download from Apps Store, I open the installer, press continue then accepts the Terms.. then select Macintosh HD and click install, then an warning message shows up "Some features of Mac OS X Mavericks are not supported for the disk "Macintosh HD"
As I've read the article that is included in the waring message i did try to install anyway because it say that I would be fine, but when i did try to install the installer starts and after like 3 minutes a window appears, Install Failed.
I've even try to make a installer on USB, both with the command in terminal and with Diskmaker, but it does not help.
It seems impossible to upgrade. Please Help me.

First, see the heading "What to do if the installer warns that no Recovery System can be created" in this support article. If you use Boot Camp, back up and delete the Windows partition using Boot Camp Assistant. Try the installation again.

  • Some features of Mac OS X Lion are not supported for the disk

At the beginning of the installation on my MacBook Pro (early 2008, non-unibody) this alert appeared. The disk is partitioned into three partitions: 1. = Photoshop-scratch, 2. = System, 3. = Bootcamp. It seems that this causes the system-message. What could be the reason for that: The Photoshop-partition or Bootcamp? Is it possible to erase just the PS-partition and then install Lion or do I have to reformat the disk?

  • HT5287 If DVD Movies, Audio CD's and even burning CD and DVD's are not supported, what is the point of DVD & CD Sharing then? Wouldn't it just be better to remote in or use a thumb drive if it's only able to be used for data transfer?

Or am I missing the bigger picture?

As long as you have a Superdrive or an external burner/drive, burning, watching, installing, etc. from CD or DVD will work just fine. And so will sharing.

  • Features that are not supported by Excel in the browser and interactive reports will be removed from the saved copy

I Created a power view in Excel 2013 and uploaded to my Power BI for o365 site.
But when i click on my excel file it opens in browser,After that i click on File tab its showing me two option
    1. Save a Copy
    2.Download a copy
When i click on save a copy its showing me an warning below
Features that are not supported by Excel in the browser and interactive reports will be removed from the saved copy.
    Continue with Save?
If i continue saving it only saves an excel files with data only not the power view which i want to save with applied filters.
    Please help me for this

Just to clarify, when you hit the option of Save As Copy, the whole experience goes into a "read-write" mode in Excel services, which currently doesn't support authoring, just consumption of PowerView sheets.
Two mitigations that come to mind:
    1. Download the copy (as Brad suggests), rename the file and upload.
    2. Use the send to option of SharePoint online, give the file the right target document library (can be the same as source) and rename the file:

After upgrading to Mountain Lion, I repeatedly get this message:  "There was a problem connecting to the server.   URLs with the type "file:" are not supported.
    Why?
What can be done to eliminate it?

Open the Time Machine pane in System Preferences. If it shows that Time Machine is ON, click the padlock icon in the lower left corner, if necessary, to unlock it. Scroll to the bottom of the list of backup drives and click Add or Remove Backup Disk. Remove all the disks, then add them back. Quit System Preferences. Test.

  • Caution: iweb sites are not supported on standard IE PCs

after going through several arcticles on the IE issue here, this issue weighs heavy. IE does not support png objects. iweb makes intensive use of creating png obejects.
i did never cross my mind when i started making my website with iweb that 90% of the internet users would be unable to view my site. most obvious i am not happy with that.
even the entire text of my website (which i made sure is not png) is invisible on IE!
however nice iweb is, it should be a clear warning to the encouraged iweb-user that the site will not work on standard pcs.

I found two things that are relevant here.
One is that Windows users should have no problems viewing or opening ANYTHING. If you've got Quicktime videos on your site, those folks MAY WELL HAVE TO DOWNLOAD THE LATEST QT PLAYER. But they'll have to have XP to do so (not any of the earlier versions such as ME or windows98).
It helps to include a link for the latest QT players (Mac & PC, as well as the latest PC Acrobat Readers). Most people, esp PC users, are not really "into" computing and need to be pointed in the right direction.
Sorry if I sounded arrogant there, as it's NOT my intention. But I know exactly what you are talking about!
I think it also helps to utilize simple design on your pages. Try using a minimum of "effects." What this means is: 1) use web-friendly fonts (they're grouped in one of iWeb's font collections; 2) Do NOT mask photos from within the app. Instead, duplicate iPhoto pics and adjust them separaely before importing; 3) also, don't use too many effects such as shadows. A few are OK, but be sparing.
All should be fine. My biggest personal problem has been making little video clips download and play within a reasonable time! Not easy (OR my forte.)

What is this HDR-HS7E - a miniDV camcorder that lets you do DV and HDV capture firewire?
True, the DV and HDV capture firewire into the Premiere Elements 13 Capture window is gone. But, have you
looked at the workaround suggested by PRE_help in this forum. The workaround is found in the following
