SunONE 6.1 admin console problem

Hi,
I've got 6.1 installed on a machine running a fully patched Solaris 8.5/03 install (including patches recommended by SunONE webserver 6.1) on an E250.
When we start the admin console we get the following error message in the errors file.

Anyone got any suggestions or anything?
Thanks kindly.

doh Just gave it a shot and it didn't work. :(
Another chap setup the machine itself so perhaps there isn't enough space to begin with...

  • Forum Admin Console problem

    Hi Experts,
    I am trying to attach Forum into a collaboration room. I have used the standard Forum iView and copied to as a Delta link and changed the "Forum Configuration' property to Forum Administration to access the Forum Admin Console.
    When I tried to Preview the iView to access the Forum Admin Console I have been taken to a Jive Forums Setup screens which has Five Steps ->
    Install Checklist
    Datasource Settings
    User System
    Email Settings
    Admin Account
    I am in the Install Checklist screen which has five checks of which last two checks are failed in my case, so the 'Continue' button at the bottom of the screen is disabled.
    The two failed checks are -
    The location to the 'jiveHome' directory has not been set. Please enter a valid path.
    A valid Jive Forums 5 license does not exist.
    Can you please help me out?

  • FTP Adapter Setup in WLS Admin Console problem

    I have setup filezilla ftp server in my W7 laptop.
    user id/password is soa/soa
    Have also setup the default folders e:\ftp and has permission to read,write, delete.
    I get the following error:
    Error An error occurred during activation of changes, please see the log for details.
    Error java.lang.NullPointerException
    Success Selected Deployments were updated.
    FTP adapter Setup:
    jndi name: eis/ftp/soaFTP
    I have set the properties
    host = 127.0.0.1
    servertype=win
    userid = xyz
    password = xzy
    I tried to delete and reinstall the ftpadapter.rar file located in the E:\Middleware\SOASuite11gR1PS4\Oracle_SOA1\soa\connectors dir several times. Each time I get the above said error. I was trying to set the plan.xml generated in a folder E:\Middleware\SOASuite11gR1PS4\Oracle_SOA1\soa\connector\ftpadapter.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,
    It seems your deployment plan got corrupted... Try deleting and reinstall the FtpAdapter from deployments on WLS console... Or edit config.xml, remove the deployment plan tag and restart the server...
    Hope this helps...

    mmm, it could be CPU, it could be a network-related issue... are you using multicast or unicast?
    can you reproduce the issue?
    if yes, can you run "top" to verify the CPU usage,
    and do a thread dump on the admin server?
    or at that point the box is entirely unresponsive?
    in that case, running a scripts which periodically does a thread dump, and running top to sample every 10 seconds, could help...

  • Admin Console browser problem

    Hi,
    This is a peculiar problem that I am facing. I am working with iPS3.0SP3 on solaris8. My installation went fine. But when I try to access Admin console(thru Netscape 4.7 or 4.75), I have the login screen displayed. But, after I provide User and Password and hit Submit button, the browser window vanishes. This has been happening with SP2 also. And my login to the portal desktop screen is successful. My browser window is available. The problem is only with the Admin Console.
    Now when I tried to Login to the same portal server instance's Admin Console thru the local Web Browser on a different machine, its working fine. I mean, the windows doesnt close.
    Any guess on what could be the problem.
    Thanks & Regards.
    shivaram.

    Hi there Shivaram,
    I have found a similar problem, when using iPS. If you have logged into the portal desktop and then wan't to log into the admin console, the admin console seems to fail when logging in. What I have found, is that after you logout of the desktop, and then go to the console login, it helps to just click the reload button in netscape, while on the admin console login screen. It seems that you need to clear the session cookie first, otherwise admin authentication fails. Alternatively you can start a seperate instance of Netscape from the command line, which then forces Netscape to create an alternative temporary store, and lock files. I'm not sure wheteher this will help, but this is what I have seend before.... comments welcome..

  • Cookie problem in IE when login in on Admin Console

    Hello,
    I have been able to login on the Admin Console of WLS 7.0 with Internet
    Explorer 6.0, but since yesterday, my IE always gives me the following
    message:
    "The Weblogic Server administration console requires that browsers support
    session cookies. Please update the browser configuration and try again."
    Has anyone ever encountered this too? What setting did you change in IE for
    this to work again? I think I tried changing everything in the Security and
    the Privacy tab, but still no go.

    I've solved the problem changing the machine name, because my previous name contained underscores.

  • Problems with admin console in firefox 4 and chrome 10

    I am experiencing problems when accessing the admin console with firefox 4.0 or chrome.
    Apparently this came up after i switched to firefox 4.0.
    Symptoms:
    In many admin screens the detailed information is missing. e.g. the list of SGD servers is not visible at all.
    Sometimes it flashes briefly, as if it were created but deleted immediately afterwards....
    Has anybody seen this?
    The same does not occur with Internet Explorer.

    You can use a userscript like this one to make it work in Chrome and Firefox:
    // ==UserScript==
    // @match https://*/sgdadmin/*
    // ==/UserScript==
    var a = document.all;
    for (var i = 0; i < a.length; i++) {
    var e = a;
    if(e.id.match("Form:")) {
    e.hidden = false;

    (Requires Greasemonkey on Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/)

  • Problem accessing Team Admin Console

    I'm unable to access the Team Admin Console at https://adminconsole.adobe.com. I can get as far as to the login stage, but after that I get the following error message:
    "We're sorry, but something seems to be wrong on our end. Please try again later. If the problem persists, contact customer support and they'll be glad to help you out."
    The "contact customer support" only leads to a page offering phone support to an american number, scheduling of a one to one meeting and a link to the community. No e-mail support or support webform.
    Anyone had success in using the Team Admin Console?

    I've also been getting this error 100% of the time since subscribing our team to Creative Cloud earlier this week - so far the money's been wasted and have found no way to access adminconsole.adobe.com.
    I can access creative.adobe.com just fine - but this is useless for me, as it is entirely personalised and contains no options or data that are related to the administration of my team account. I've called the support line, but was sadly unable to find anyone offering support - only sales advice!
    Anybody able to shed any light on this whatsoever? All the Adobe Support I've been in touch with is entirely unable to assist with website problems - they just want to sell me the software that I already bought ; )

  • Application Server - Admin Console Login Problem

    Hi,
    I have installed J2EE 1.4 (Sun Java Application Server Platform Edition 8) on Windows 2000.
    Installation was successful and the app server is getting started too.
    When i am going to http://localhost:4848/asadmin (Admin Console) and enter user/password to login ..

    message Invalid direct reference to form login page
    description The request sent by the client was syntactically incorrect (Invalid direct reference to form login page).
    I could not find much on this in the troubleshooting guide or other documents too.
    Did anyone else face this issue and if you know the reason/workaround, Pls suggest.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Anwar

    Hey anwarak, I am having the exact problem again as well. I had this same issue on the previous release of j2ee and for a short time I had it working. I lost that functionality when I lost my disk drive to a (s.m.a.r.t.) type of error. I am now in the rebuilding system phase and thought the issue might be resolved in this release. My initial resolution that was suggested here was to turn off my firewall.
    I am running Win-XP SP1 and I also have Norton2002 and ZoneAlarm Pro 4.5.538.001 on my system. I have attempted to allow ZoneAlarm to ease restrictions for cookies and ad blockers, just in case but to no avail! I found the following log at C:\Sun\AppServer\domains\domain1\logs\access on my system:

  • Login Problem Flash Media Admin Console

    New to FMS, testing FMS Developers versions.
    Connect and Live stream works fine using FMLE.
    Problem is I'm not sure how to get logged into the Admin Console.
    I'm not sure about what the "Server Name" is or the "Server Address". Is that just the IP address or the IP plus something else? How can I tell?
    FMS install was done by tech at hosting company and he forwarded this info:
    ----------- Install Action Summary -----------
    Installation directory = /opt/adobe/fms
    Flash Media Server Port = 1935,80
    Flash Media Admin Server Port = 1111
    Apache Install = Yes
    Administrative username = ******
    Administrative password = ******
    service owner = nobody
    service user = nobody
    service group = nobody
    Run as daemon = Yes
    Start Flash Media Server = Yes

    LATEST UPDATE!!!
    Just received this from the tech:
    From what I understand, I think port 1111 is an internal communication port and not accessible from the outside..? From the main page, there is a console link which brings you to http://adobe.marunde-muscle.com/fms_adminConsole.htm and from there I think you have to define the parameters to begin managing the installation.
    Does this mean anything? Is he/we on the right track?
