SUP failed over manually, voice service failed after FAILOVER, started accessing old voice vlan which was removed from config

Hey guys,
I am pretty sure, my subject is kinda confusing. Sorry about that. Here is what happened.
1. 4510r with Supervisor V 1000BaseX, switched over to standby Sup, then reseated Active SUP, once reseat complete, switched again to get the reseated SUP up and running as Active SUP.
2. a simple maintenance which was supposed to cause no outage and it did not cause any outage as well.
3. however, what i did not notice was, even though the voice vlan was configured to access 2353, they were accessing vlan 453.
4. the change was made 2 weeks prior to this maintenance where voice vlans were previously accessing 453 and they were all changed to access 2353. configs were saved.
5. however, after the maintenance, the running config showed that they were acessing 2353 but when checking the mac address on the interface, it was seen accessing 453.
6. the fix was to remove the config and re add it , that fixed it.
Has anyone else experienced the issue ? What really happened there ?

After upgrading from Snow Leopard to Lion I cannot access a PGP drive which was generated under snow leopard. PGP does not start. When I try to start I just receive a message that Lion cannot work with PGP. How can I now access important and confifential informatio which I have stored in PGP (snow leopard). Do I have to move back to snow leopard. If so, how can I do this?

    If you have this product,

you have to go back to Snow Leopard.
To re-install SL, back up your home directory, format and re-install.

iMovie was removed from my macbook pro after I downloaded OS X Yosemite, I had it before and have used it, but now I can only get it through the app store. I can't pay for it so I would really appreciate the help.

Look in your applications folder for the installer - Install OS X Yosemite. Delete it. Then go back to the App Store purchases tab and see if you can download it. You might have to re-index Spotlight.

  • Referencing Service Objects after FailOver

I have a service object Manager1SO in partition1, that calls a Start method on
another service object WorkerSO in partition3.
Manager1SO then monitors WorkerSO by registering for the RemoteAccessEvent on
    WorkerSO.
When partition2 is brought offline, Manager1SO catches the RemoteAccessEvent on
WorkerSO successfully, and calls the Start method on WorkerSO again.
This seems to work a few times in a single environment, but after a while the
call to the Start method seems to hang.
When I attempt this kind of processing on 2 connected environments using
failover, the Manager1SO in partition1 in the environment on which WorkerSO
failed from cannot reference WorkerSO at all (hangs).
The Manager2SO in partition2 in the environment on which WorkerSO has failed
over to, references it okay i.e. the Start method completes.
If I restart Manager1SO, it then references WorkerSO in its environment rather
than the environment it failed over to.
I know this is very light on information, but any help would be appreciated.

  • Keep getting "Failed to connect to server" message after changing out my old router to a new one. Cannot receive any new emails. How do I connect again?

What can I do to fix this?

Check the address of the router in your settings for Windows. It has probably changed. You might want to check the settings in the router itself as well.

  • Outlook not switched over to active DAG member after failover

I have a 2 server DAG stretched across sites for DR.  Both of these servers are multi-role and have the HT, CAS, and MBOX roles.  Everything with the DAG seems to be working fine, as does what turned out to be an accidental failover to the remote
site.  A fail back also went fairly smoothly.
However, I've now discovered that some Outlook clients switched over to the DR server automatically and now they will not switch back.  I will come out right away and say that I do not have a CAS array.  I just learned about the CAS array while
researching the problem.  After refreshing my own mailbox profile, everything swapped back, but obviously I don't want to go around everywhere making that change.  I don't even know how many people are still connecting to the DR server.  In
fact, the only problem with the people that are connecting to the DR server is a little extra latency.
Obviously, I would like this to work better, and would like a good way to get the outlook users swapped back to where they should be right now.

There is a public folder and it is on the same server as the mailboxes.

  • HT2105 Keep getting "Purchase Failed! No money was removed from your account." How can I make in-app purchases?

I have my credit card info entered properly but any in app purchases i try making will not go through.

Well, if I wasn't confused, I am now.
What do you mean "from Restrictions"? The Apps options within Parental Controls permit you to limit an App. There's no option to limit "in-apps" or no place that I can see it possible for "in-apps ... to be disabled".  So you can block a kid from playing a game, but you can't block the game from asking the kid to spend $99 on in game toys — what TradeNations does — and nothing that requires an approval from an adult before that $99 is spent.
    This is the control panel:
The "Allow App Store Apps" control is a simple age restriction. And the Allowed Apps is just the apps you permit the kid to use.
Please tell me there's another control panel I'm missing?

  • I bought a new iphone 5s and restored all files from my wifes old iphone4. at the old phone, there was an icloud account which was remained from previous owner(it was second hand). After restore, it came to my new phone and I can not remove it.

  • How do you get an ipa off your iPad to backup if the app was removed from the app store and using "Transfer purchases" does not copy the ipa over to iTunes?

Hello everyone. Can anyone shed some light on this problem? If I downloaded an app from the app store called "Print to PDF" that allows opening any application and going to print converts that to a PDF e.g. Safari pages, mail etc and I did not sync or "transfer purchases" for some time and when I look in the app store that app is no longer there so I thought if I could "transfer purchases" iTunes would then have the .ipa and I could back it up and copy it to my iPad 2 but I don't see the ipa in the "mobile applications" directory. How do I get it off my iPad and into iTunes to backup?
Thanks for any help you can give!

Ashka, I have tried to "transfer purchases from device" but that is what I am saying that I do not see the app in the "mobile applications" directory after I do that process. I was wondering if anyone else knew of a way to get to the ipa file that is stored on the iPad such as a program that could browse the directories of the iPad of even an app that could do it so I can get and save the actual app in ipa format.

  • After latest update my Pastel accounting programme which was linked to Outlook cannot now allow access to outlook. had inv etc in msoutlook emails etc in Thunde

Why is thunderbird blocking my using msoutlook for my account package.?

To be blunt, it is not.
If you installed Thunderbird after outlook it will have installed it's MAPI DLLs and registered them. It will also have set itself as the default mail client after asking.
A reinstall of Outlook will fix any installation overwrites that may have occurred.
But if the problem turns out to be windows I do not know who you turn to as it is out of support.

Recently upgraded to Unity Connection version: 10.5.1ES78.11901-78 from 9.1.2ES46.12900-46.
After upgrading we are experiencing an issue whereby the pub continually fails over to the sub without any obvious reason for the fail over. We've experienced this bug before on 9.1.1 which was the reason for the upgrade to 9.1.2. There is no bug case that is established for this issue on v10.5(1)SU1a. Pub is still taking calls in secondary state but obviously the need for stability between the nodes is necessary.
Anyone else experience or know of any issues on this most recently released version?

  • When I download itunes, it says that Ipod Service failed to start. I checked the services under task manager and when I try to start it, it says access denied. How to I get access and for the ipod service to start and run?

Please help. My ipod classic could not be recognised by itunes when I connect my ipod to PC. Previously it has been recognised before I updated. This was a while ago now and so I removed all apple files and re installed the latest itunes but am having the same problem.
When I download itunes, it says that Ipod Service failed to start. I checked the services under task manager and when I try to start it, it says access denied. How to I get access and for the ipod service to start and run?

Some anti-virus programs (e.g., McAfee) have this rule that can be invoked under the "maximum protection" settings: PREVENT PROGRAMS REGISTERING AS A SERVICE. If that rule is set to BLOCK, then any attempt to install or upgrade iTunes will fail with an "iPod service failed to start" message.
If you are getting this problem with iTunes, check to see if your anti-virus has this setting and unset it, at least for as long as the iTunes install requires. Exactly how to find the rule and turn it on and off will vary, depending upon your anti-malware software. However, if your anti-virus or anti-malware software produces a log of its activities, examining the log may help you find the problem.
For example, here's the log entry for McAfee:
9/23/2009 3:18:45 PM Blocked by Access Protection rule NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM C:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exe \REGISTRY\MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\iPod Service Common Maximum Protection:Prevent programs registering as a service Action blocked : Create
Note that the log says "Common Maximum Protection: Prevent programs registering as a service". The "Common Maximum Protection" is the location of the rule, "Prevent programs registering as a service" is the rule. I used that information to track down the location in the McAfee VirusScan Console where I could turn the rule off.
After I made the change, iTunes installed without complaint.

  • "iPod Service Failed to Start" message when upgrading iTunes

When upgrading iTunes from Version 7 to the newest version, I got an error message stating "Service, 'iPod Service' failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient priviledges to start system services." So I canceled the download and rolled back to Version 7 again. I did notice that now I'm getting an error message when I start up Version 7, stating that it could not start the iPod service. I just bought an ipod Classic and cannot use it without the latest version of iTunes. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
