Superdrive needs support. Where's my serial #?

I can't even contact support without the product serial # and it's no place to be seen on the exterior of this USB superdrive. The packaging is long gone. This site doesn't provide instructions for finding the number on this specific product.
It's Catch 22 -- I'm unable to reach out to support for help finding the serial number for the precise reason that I can't find the serial number.
Any ideas?

You can still get to service via phone without the serial number, just go around same during the prompts. youll at least need proof somewhere of when / where you bought it for service etc.

The iWork apps purchased & installed from the Mac App Store or from the retail DVD don't need a serial number. The problem is that now you need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD or the Mac App Store. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user.
Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his iDisk in For_iWork > iWork '09 > uninstall iWork '09.zip.

IWork : WHERE is the Serial number?

Where is the serial number on iWork? It is not on the "How to install" leaflet - as the 'window' says and none of the numbers on the sticker on the box works and also - the 'enter' button is not active.
No way of asking anyone at Mac for help either?? All that money and I can't use the product!!!!

Where did you purchase your iWork package?
If you have checked and double-checked within the box and all included materials within the box and no serial number is included, you need to contact AppleCare for your complimentary software support or the retailer where you purchased the product to inform them to request an exchange.

Title pretty much says it all.
I am new to Creative Cloud - and this forum, etc.
I purchased the $9.99 / month deal that Adobe is offering to new customers, etc.
Downloaded everything that I need to download (I think).
Tried to run Photoshop - but am being asked if I want to start my "trial"
or I have the option to "License This Software"
but where is the Serial Number for Photoshop & LightRoom 5?
I imagine it's right under my nose - but I do not see it anywhere.
The screen which appears (after I sign in) says:
Am I supposed to "Start Trial" or "License This Software"
To make things even more confusing:
I just ran LightRoom 5 for the first time.
There was a serial number automatically inserted in the space provided.
Not sure what's going on - but this is becoming a little overwheling.
I suppose it's the price I must pay for being an old fart!

Hi. Sorry, but I don't have any good news for ya.
My issue has been resolved, however - it was due to a lengthy chat I had online with an Adobe Associate.
We were able to get everything running the way 'twas intended,
but there were some hoops of fire with which I had to jump.
Wish I could help....but the only thing I can say is to attempt a "Live Chat"

I'm in the process of sending my board in for RMA and I need some help finding the Serial number for my board.
Anybody know where the serial for this board is located?
On the box, or stuck onto the motherboard?
Most of you who has RMA'd the board would know where i can find it.

yup, I found it on the box, but didn't know whether it was the serial or not.
But i've taken the m/b out of the case, and saw a sticker on the back of the board.
Which has identical numbers to the ones on the box :-)

I work for a University. We've purchased a few copies of Adobe Acrobat Pro XI boxed software. It's been working great all along. Now, it won't work at all. Error as follows:
"The serial number you entered has expired.This product cannot be licensed. Please contact Customer Support. Provide a serial number."

You need to do what it says... contact Adobe Customer Support. We can't help for two reasons (a) we are not Adobe staff (b) even if we were, we can't examine private serial numbers in a public forum.
When you contact them, best to have all the paperwork from the original purchase in case there are difficulties with a supplier etc.

I have been using photoshop on mac for over a year and now need the serial number to be able to use it on macbook. I looked up Adobe's website for help but found none and noone to ask for support.. Ok, it looks like I couldn't contact the servers, but the Adobe application did not tell me anything: no feedback. I have gone into C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts and removed all the firewall IP filters, and photoshop opens. You can then revert the hosts file to get all your anti-spam and adblocking filters and photoshop still opens. To be clear, Adobe seems to be using some special ip address to tell your app that it's licensed, this address could be on any number of spam blacklists (because I guess it's used to phone hime about app usage and sell you stuff). So check your hosts file, OR check your work firewall / router.
@Adobe, help people out, just say 'unable to contact license servers'. When your infrastructure fails, and paying customers mysteriously get trial software, it makes Creative Cloud look broken, and frustrates the people you want to give you money.

What os do i need and where can i get it?

I bought some old IMAC computers that has been wiped clean of OS and I am wondering what OS i need and where i can buy one. It think it might be a G3 but these are the info on the pc

Is this your first Mac?
The iMac originally came with 32MB RAM (& can be increased to 128MB max) and OS 8.6. In theory (if you max out RAM) in can operate on OSs up to 10.3. I would recommend that you install OS 9.x.
To install OS 9.x you will need a retail version of the OS 9 installer (CD with white background & orange 9). Look on eBay or you can join LEM-Swap for buying & selling Mac stuff. http://groups.google.com/group/lemswap

Where are the serial numbers?

I just bought the family pack of Snow Leopard, and I'm a little confused why I did. There aren't any serial numbers. For all I can tell, I could have installed this on 100 computers. Is there some serial number built into the DVD so they are keeping track of where these get installed? Otherwise I feel like I got scammed out of $20, and could have just bought the $30 edition...

It's the Apple way. And allot of us like that.
When I upgrade to 10.6 I don't need to pull out my 10.0,10.1,10.2,10.3,10.4 and 10.5 serial numbers.
Also if I'm in a pinch and I need to reinstall on the road I don't need to worry about finding past serial numbers in order to install.
I can't begin to try and remember where all my serial numbers are for Windows. As a matter of fact I've lost so many **** install disks its wrong. What's worse is that when I need a disk for a particular model I can't find it. And an HP disk wont reinstall onto a Dell. This has caused me way too much frustration in the past.
With Apple, I buy the disk, Make a copy onto my hard drive and I always have a copy around if one fails. If I loose the one for my laptop the same one will restore my desktop.
So while there are people who will rip off Apple the $20 it saves everyone else added aggravation when the rare circumstance arises that mandate an reinstall.

Where'd my Serial Number go?

Two months ago I had to bend over backwords to find CS2 for Photoshop (The free one they offered years ago) And recently I upgraded my computer only to go through much hassle of acquiring the serial number. Today I had to wipe my computer and I am in the process of re-installing everything and my account has no serial number for me store on my account. Are Serial numbers a one time use? If not, where's my serial number?

I participated and registered online with adobe. I have the copy of it on my Work Laptop. I have since then upgraded to a PC in January. With no issues I registered it on my PC. But due to a system restart, I needed CS2 again Mid-March. Having once found my serial number on adobe.com I installed it previously with much success. Toshiba must have or should have provided you with a CD/DVD and seril number with the machine. however, if PSe is freezing then the first thing you need to try is to reset it to default settings. This can be done in two ways but the easiest ay to do is to go to (I am mentioning only the one method here):
<C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\11.0\Editor>
Find the file called: Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 Prefs.psp and rename it to: Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 Prefs.old
For username you need to insert the correct username or Windows profile name. Also, when you are doing this, make sure PSE is closed completely i.e. you should not have it open to do any work.
I am assuming you know how to browse the relevant folders if they are hidden in the system because this is taken for granted here. Also, the file names may not have any extensions but I am sure you know how to make them display on the screen.
