  • Iphone & Ipod Touch App for NMH series. .Where is it?

Hi there, The NMH405 is new in my house and after taking an entire weekend to load my media on to it (it took forever!) I read on the features list this: There's even a free application for your iPhone or iPod Touch, so you can enjoy your media from your mobile device.
    But where is it? Cheers

    Just because i like calling India . I decided to call them on this.{ But you don't have to be at home to enjoy your digital media.  With the Cisco Remote Access Service1, there are no confusing network addresses to remember.  Log onto your Media Hub with a web browser using your chosen personalized "name" (i.e., "Smith-Media"), and you can enjoy your media through the Internet.  You get the same easy-to-use attractive catalog view, and can listen to your music, view your pictures, or watch your videos, from anywhere.  There's even a free application for your iPhone or iPod Touch, so you can enjoy your media from your mobile device.}
Right off there product page. I got no where . he didnt know about anyother software for the hub othere then what comes with it. I checked iTunes ans cisco has a few apps but nothing for what we are looking for. i got a case number out of this maybe if enough of us bug the crap out of them we might get a real answer. I am guessing its in development or it never worked with out flash support for the itouch and Iphone. Now we need adobe to get that finished.....

  • Chart with multiple series (SQL?)

    Hello everyone,
I have an sql question relating to flash charts in APEX 3.
I have a table "TREND" that has data like this :-
    WEEK LOCN COST
    ===== ==== =====
    45........A......10
    46........A......12
    47........A......15
    45........B......18
    46........B......16
    47........B......11
    45........C......13
    46........C......14
    47........C......10
How do I create an sql statement that can compile multiple values for a chart at runtime. In other words I want a chart that can show three LOCN lines (A,B and C) over the WEEKs (x axis) in the table.
Using the standard chart source only gives one value on the chart ..........
SELECT NULL link, LOCN label, COST value FROM TREND
I need something like this ..........
SELECT link, label, value1, value2, value3 FROM TREND
But I don't know how to transpose my data into that format, can anyone help ?
I need my data to look like this I think :-
    WEEK A B C
    ===== == == ==
    45....10.18.13
    46....12.16.14
    47....15.11.10
    Thanks,
    Jack.

    Hi Jack,
    you have 2 possibilities.
    1) You can create 3 distinct series sql statements (with the "Add Series" button) where you restrict the query to LOCN. Disadvantage: The table is scanned 3 times.
    2) You can create just one series where the distinct series values are mapped to columns. eg:
    SELECT NULL AS LINK
         , WEEK AS LABEL
         , SUM(DECODE(LOCN, 'A', COST, 0)) AS A
         , SUM(DECODE(LOCN, 'B', COST, 0)) AS B
         , SUM(DECODE(LOCN, 'C', COST, 0)) AS C
      FROM TREND
GROUP BY WEEKAdvantage: Table is just scanned once.

  • Line Time Series Chart not working

    Hi All,
I have one Line Time Series chart where on the X Axis i have taken one date and on Y axis one Sales Figure. Now on the Measure Lables i have taken on dimension as Customer.
So the chart will give me something like trend which customer has how much sales figures daywise.
Now the issue is that it shows the trend for one customer correct and shows the line but if i select second customer the graph doesnt show the line just dot for the second customer.
    Any help in this regard

    Thanks Vinod for the reply.
Second customer doesnt have data on consecutive days but there is no pattern in that.He has data on 3rd,7th,8th,10th,15th day.
But for all these days for the second customer dots are coming but not in the case for First Customer.

  • Very slow query when specifying where clause

    Hi folks:
I am using SAS with SQL Passthrough for Oracle, however that may be irrelevant to the problem.
I have a query that I am subsetting based on a series of where clauses, and when I put the clauses into the query, it slows it down tremendously.
I can pull the entire table and subset it later on in SAS and it is much faster.
Can someone explain why the SQL subsetting logic runs slower than pulling 18M rows and subsetting later?
Here is my query - hope this is enough information
    select
    a.loan_number
    , a.CFLRC_CD
    , a.cservno
    , b.cprj_typ
    , a.occ_stat
    , c.state2
    , c.city2
    , e.hstatus
    , e.hcattype
    , e.dqind
    , e.mthsdel

    , vew_ll_ln_actvy_1 e
    where
    a.loan_number = b.loan_number
    and a.loan_number = c.loan_number
    and a.loan_number = e.loan_number
    and e.act_dte = '01-feb-2011'
    and not (occ_stat in ('2','3'))
    and hcattype <> '800'
    and dqind not in ('E','F','G','H')
    and cprj_typ not in ('1','2','3','4','5','16','17','18','19','20','21','22')
    and cflrc_cd <> '2'
    order by

  • Calculate Time Series in a query

    Hi there,
    I got follwoing Query
    SELECT ROW_NUMBER() OVER(Order by Series.Date) AS RowId, Instrument.idInstrument, Series.Date, Series.Value * Series_1.Value AS EURVal
FROM Series AS Series_1 INNER JOIN
    SeriesSubscription AS SeriesSubscription_1 ON Series_1.idSerie = SeriesSubscription_1.idSerie
INNER JOIN Series INNER JOIN SeriesSubscription ON Series.idSerie = SeriesSubscription.idSerie
    INNER JOIN Instrument ON SeriesSubscription.idInstrument = Instrument.idInstrument
    INNER JOIN Currency ON SeriesSubscription.idCurrency = Currency.idCurrency ON SeriesSubscription_1.idInstrument = Currency.idInstrument AND Series_1.Date = Series.Date
    WHERE (Instrument.idInstrument = 20610)
    The reults look like this
    1     20610     1998-12-31 00:00:00.000     0,725234482449
    2     20610     1999-01-01 00:00:00.000     0,725234482449
    3     20610     1999-01-04 00:00:00.000     0,718305405841
    4     20610     1999-01-05 00:00:00.000     0,720196638736
Is it possible to calculate on the fly the value of row number 2 divided by row number 1 and row number 3 divided by row number 2 and so on in a new column.
The Result set would look like this
    1     20610     1998-12-31 00:00:00.000     0,725234482449
    2     20610     1999-01-01 00:00:00.000     0,725234482449 1
    3     20610     1999-01-04 00:00:00.000     0,718305405841 0,9904457
    4     20610     1999-01-05 00:00:00.000     0,720196638736 1,0026329
    Is that possible?
    Thanks a lot
    Cheers,
    Chris

    Hi, Chirs,
The analytic LAG function is great for that:
    SELECT ROW_NUMBER() OVER(Order by Series.Date) AS RowId, Instrument.idInstrument, Series.Date, Series.Value * Series_1.Value AS EURVal
    ,      ( Series.Value * Series1.Value
           / LAG (Series.Value * Series1.Value) OVER (ORDER BY  Series.Dt)
           )                    AS EURVal_ratio
FROM Series AS Series_1 INNER JOIN
    SeriesSubscription AS SeriesSubscription_1 ON Series_1.idSerie = SeriesSubscription_1.idSerie
INNER JOIN Series INNER JOIN SeriesSubscription ON Series.idSerie = SeriesSubscription.idSerie
    INNER JOIN Instrument ON SeriesSubscription.idInstrument = Instrument.idInstrument
    INNER JOIN Currency ON SeriesSubscription.idCurrency = Currency.idCurrency ON SeriesSubscription_1.idInstrument = Currency.idInstrument AND Series_1.Date = Series.Date
WHERE (Instrument.idInstrument = 20610)If you'd post some sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements) then I could test this.

  • Playing home ripped TV Series on Apple TV through ITunes

I decided to transfer some of my older TV series I have on CD and DVD's to my ITunes, enabling me to just click on my Apple TV and rewatch episodes from ITunes (we never used to get digital copies in 'them days'!).
I transfered the TV series to ITunes after converting them with no problem (24 episodes so far using a 3rd party software) and updated all the info with series number and episode numbers. I can watch them on ITunes but can't even find them on my Apple TV!
I have all 24 episodes labeled as TV series and in ITunes, they appear under TV shows under one folder which expands when you click it to select each episode BUT the folder info will not change from music to TV shows. Each individual episode is listed as TV Show media (they wouldn't apear in the TV shows menu otherwise). i have tried countless times to change the folder info but it remaind music.
Does this mean, you can't play anything but bought TV shows from ITunes on Apple TV under the TV Series heading? I know I can just label each episode as a film and watch them under the Apple TV film menu BUT to make it all nice and neat (and I was thinking of ripping most of my old TV series to watch this way which would make scrolling through hundreds of episodes a bit of a mare!)
Is there anything I have missed or is Apple TV not capable of watching home ripped series through the TV series menu?
    Thanks

I've sorted it! I was probably looking in the wrong place!!!!
You need to go to 'Computer', there will now be a new TV Series menu where you can select the series and then each episode!
    Sorry to bother everyone!!!

  • Reading board capabilities (M, E and S-series)

    Hi,
When calling the function DAQmxCfgSampClkTiming I need the sampling rate. How do I determine the valid range of sampling rates for the board, dependent on how many channels in use?
How do I determine if the board supports sample-and-hold, like the S-series?
Where to set the polarity, and how to detect if unipolar is not allowed, like the PCI-6023E?
Can I detect if analog trigger is supported, and the same with digital triggers?
    Thanks...
    - cpede

    Hi
I definitely agree, that this functionality should be a part of the DAQmx API, but it isnt - YET!
Sofar the only option you have is to get the product type of the board and then do your own description "in software".
The following post discusses the problem. It also holds a link to the workaround I mention in LabVIEW code.

  • ITunes not finding TV episodes

So I sunk about 40.00 of hard earned money into some TV episodes.
I am trying to sync to my Apple TV (Older 32gb version).
All my other shows/movies sync fine, but the last batch I purchased are located in my iTunes on my pc, but when I try to sync it tells me it can not find the files.
I transferred my itunes to a new PC (which took about 3 friggen days to fight with iTunes to get it to work)...
and now I'm slapped in the face with this mess...
So before I go off on too much of a rant does anyone have any suggestions on why this is happening and what can be done to fix this.  I will say I've read where people really dislike iTunes and now I can honestly see why.

Has episode 18 been aired yet ? Looking at wikipedia episode 18 is listed as due to be aired in the US on April 15th, no episode is listed as being shown last week : series 10.
If it has been aired then the TV company hasn't made it available to iTunes to put in the store, nor have they made it available on amazon.com : Supernatural series 10 amazon.

  • New DVR Issues (First Run, Channel Switching, etc.)

I've spent the last 30 minutes trying to find answers through the search with no luck, so sorry if I missed something.
I recently switched to FIOS from RCN cable in New York.  I've gone through trying to setup my DVR and am running into issues and was hoping for some answers.
    1.  I setup two programs to record at 8PM, I was watching another channel at the time and only half paying attention.  Around 8:02 I noticed a message had popped up asking if I would like to switch channels to start recording.  I was expecting it to force it to switch like my old DVR, but in this case it didn't switch and I missed the first two minutes of one of the shows.  I typically leave my DVR on all day and just turn off the TV, this dual show handling will cause issues with that if I forget to turn off the DVR.  Is there a setting I can change that will force the DVR to choose one of the recording channels?
    2.  I setup all my recordings for "First Run" because I only want to see the new episodes.  One show I setup was The Daily Show on comedy central, which is shown weeknights at 11pm and repeated 3-4 times throughout the day.  My scheduled recordings is showing all these as planned recordings even though only the 11pm show is really "new".  Most of the shows I've setup are once a week so they aren't a problem, but this seems like it will quickly fill my DVR.  Any fixes?
    Thanks for the help.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I came from RCN about a year ago.  Fios is different in several ways, not all of them desirable.  Here are several ways to get--and fix--unwanted recordings from a series recording setup.
    Some general principles.
Saving changes.  When you originally create a series with options, or if you go back to edit the options for an existing series, You MUST save the Series Options changes.  Pretty much everywhere else in the user interface, when you change an option, the change takes effect immediately--but not in Series Options.  Look at the Series Options window.  Look at the far right side.  There is a vertical "Save" bar, which you must navigate to and click OK on to actually save your changes.  Exiting the Series Options window without having first saved your changes loses all your attempted changes--immediately.
Default Series Options.  This is accessed  from [Menu]--DVR--Settings--Default Series Options.  This will bring up the series options that will automatically be applied to the creation of a NEW series. The options for every previously created series will not be affected by a subsequent modification of the Default Series Options.  You should set these options to the way you would like them to be for the majority of series recordings that you are likely to create.  Be sure to SAVE your changes.  This is what you will get when you select "Create Series Recording" from the Guide.  When creating a new series recording where you think that you may want options different from the default, select "Create Series with Options" instead.  Series Options can always be changed for any individual series set up later--but not for all series at once.
Non-series recordings.  With Fios you have no directly available options for these.  With RCN and most other DVRs, you can change the start and end times for individual episodes, including individual episodes that are also in a series.  With Fios, your workarounds are to create a series with options for a single program, then delete the series later;  change the series options if the program is already in a series, then undo the changes you made to the series options later; or schedule recordings of the preceding and/or following shows as needed.
And now, to the unwanted repeats.
First, make sure your series options for the specific series in question--and not just the series default options--include "First Run Only".  If not, fix that and SAVE.  Then check you results by viewing the current options using the Series Manager app under the DVR menu.
Second, and most annoying, the Guide can have repeat programs on your channel tagged as "New".  It happens.  Set the series option "Air Time" to "Selected Time".  To make this work correctly, you must have set up the original series recording after selecting the program in the Guide at the exact time of a first run showing (11pm, in your case), and not on a repeat entry in the Guide.  Then, even it The Daily Show is tagged as New for repeat showings, these will be ignored.
Third, another channel may air reruns of the program in your series recording, and the first showing of a rerun episode on the other channel may be tagged as "New".  These can be ignored in your series if you set the series option "Channel" to "Selected Channel".  Related to this, if there is both an SD and HD channel broadcasting you series program, you will record them both if the series option "Duplicates" is set to "Yes".  However, when the Channel option is set to "Selected Channel", the Duplicates Option is always effectively "No", regardless of what shows up on the options screen.
As for you missing two minutes,  I have sereral instances in which two programs start recording at the same time.  To the best of my recollection, whenever the warning message has appeared, ignoring it has not caused a loss of recording time.  You might have an older software version.  Newest is v.1.8.  Look at Menu--Settings--System Info.  Or, I might not have noticed the loss of minutes.  I regularly see up to a minute of previous programming at the start of a recording, or a few missing seconds at the beginning or end of a recording.  There are a lot of possibilities for that, but the DVR clock being incorrect is not one of them.  With RCN, the DVR clocks occasionally drifted off by as much as a minute and a half.

  • "Between NVL" - Works in SQL Command, not in APEX report region

First, I realize I could use dynamic SQL (model 4), but I don't want to (too hard just yet).
I have a select statement with a series of Where conditions that employ values, in bind variables, supplied by the user.
I want the choice of parameters to be optional, so I am checking for and replacing nulls.
    Select emp_name from employee_table where
    emp_rating between nvl(:p7_rating_choice, 0) and nvl(:p7_rating_choice, 99)
    and
    emp_language_no between nvl(:p7_lang_choice, 0) and nvl(:p7_lang_choice, 99);
    (the binds should be numeric).
The actual statement is quite a bit longer, but the point is that the BETWEEN NVL(:x, min) AND NVL(:x, max) piece does not seem to work when used in a report region.
It works fine if ALL parameters are provided, but returns an error if one or more are null.
In the SQL command window it works (with a pop-up) just fine.
By the way, the :p7_lang_choice bind variable is chosen from a LOV list which works in all other cases.
Also, if I disable nulls (choosing "no" in ITEM page), everything works fine. It seems that the substitution of the min and max values via the NVL returns the wrong data type.
Any ideas what I have done wrong?

    Thanks Scott.
Every day brings a little more understanding!
I also noticed a simplified method in the APEX documentation (although there was no explanation of the code) as follows:
    Where
    (column = :p1_user_input_1 OR :p1_user_input_1 = [null substitution value])
    AND
    (column = :p1_user_input_2 OR :p1_user_input_2 = [null substitution value])
    AND
    etc...
Using the value you provide in the LOV section for the null, the second part of the OR handles the null situation.
For some reason I was so tied up with comparing to the column that I never thought to have an OR with a compare to something else.
    Oh well.
    Thanks,
    Norm

  • Lv 6.1 crashing

    Hi everyone,
I'm experiencing a rather annoying (and increasingly frequent) problem....
I have a program using several different modules for instrument communication (Spectrometer, filter wheel, monochromator etc) which has been running fine for a year or so.
Recently, I have problems with LV bombing out in the middle of a measurement.  No error messages from LV, a system-level crash.  I'm not used to this kind of thing.
Following pictures are details of ONE type of crash (it has two or three different "forms").
The dialogs appear in this order:
    Details on my system:
I'm using a dell (I've seen reports of problems regarding this before....), but the crashes happened on an old no-name beige box before also.
The VIs are saved with diagram on a network drive (Both PCs using WinXP Pro with up-to-date patches).
I am calling a DLL for a spectrometer interface, but testing this code on its own for several hours cannot generate a crash.
All other functions are built-in G.
It seems kind of fond of crashing in the middle os a gauss-fitting routine I've written (Heavily modified Levenberg routine).  This code has also worked without any problems since over a year.
I am using 3 RS-232 ports (Filter wheel, Spectrometer, Linear stage) and 2 USB ports (Spectrometer via DLL, Relay via Command-line parameters).
The crashes seem random with no single module causing the problems (except for the affinity mentioned above).  Sometimes I can even finish a complete measurement series (oooh) whereas sometimes I only get through 10 or 30 or 50%.
I'm at a loss currently.  I've looked at as much of the code as I can, and I can't see anything wrong.  I've even tried copying the code to new VIs, but this hasn't stopped the crashes.
    Please help....
    Shane.

I know 6.1 isn't supported any more, but It's been rock solid until now.....
Either way, it looks like we'll be upgrading to 8.2 soon, so I suppose I'll just hope that the errors will go away then.......
I was hoping that the error message could give SOME insight as to whether the LV core, Windows or a device driver was the problem.
    I suppose I'll never know......
    Shane.
PS: Can someone at least tell me what "Runtime Error 217" is?
