Supervisor Record Viewer playback sound poor

HI,
We use Cisco Contact center. We record all our incoming calls. In the Cisco Supervisor Desktop, the Supervisor Record Viewer is used to playback the recorded files. When you playback these recorded files from within this supervisor record viewer, the sound is very poor and cracky. Sounds like pstn lines over the atlantic back in 1955. However when I look up the files that are saved on the contact center server and I convert them to wav, the sound is ok. So the recording is done correct. Why when I playback from within the tool is the playback sound so poor?
I use Cisco Unified Contact Center Express 7.0 Cisco Supervisor DEsktop 6.6.(1)(Premium Version)

The problem was solved by doing an update.
The Build I used was 6.6.1.053 I believe. After the update it was 6.6.1.400, which solved the problem with the playback sound.

  • UCCX Supervisor Record Viewer Error

    Hi,
         I have an issue after upgraded the UCCX 4.X to 7.0 using the DMT, my customer tried to get the recordings of the calls from the agents, but when run the record viewer in the supervisor client got a message error "Following server is unavailable: IPCCSRV01 (Partial Service) Some Recordings will not available" but I checked the logs and  the name of the server IPCCSRV01 is not the actual name of the UCCX server, that is IPCCSRV2010 by mistake my client got me another name of server, altough all the services, teams, scripts, workflows are working normally, the only issue I found are the recordings.
    For more information the logs are attached.
    I tried to find the register to indicate that the recording server is IPCCSRV2010 and not the other one.

    After I opened a SR with TAC I have to upgrade to SR5 in order to fix a lot of problems that the TAC said it fixed with the SR. And in fact torough the Cisco Database Administration in the Server I removed the other servername and put as Default the actual servername, I restarted and everything work very well. So the workaround was the upgrade to the last SR, and the learning lesson is after you upgrade for any version of IPCC to the version 7.x you must upgrade to the last SR.

    Check the output settings in GarageBand's preferences > Audio/Midi pane.
    And in the System Preferences > Sound  panel.
    Also check the settings in Audio Midi Setup Utility.

  • I can't get my vocals to record and playback!

    The sound bars move and I can hear myself on my speakers but my voice doesn't record or playback. I'm micing directly in to my computer. My midi keyboard plays and records and plays back. I have it set to vocals and male R&B, monitor on.

    Did you figure this out? I am a first time user. I have a mic, plugged in to my mac and I'm trying to lay vocal tracks...can you help me?

  • Recording timeline playback to external DVR without printing to video

    I am having trouble recording timeline playback to an external Panasonic DVR via firewire. Do I need some sort of convertor to make it work? I've also tried going through a DV camera and then to the DVR, but it drops frames like crazy. Most of my projects are about 2+ hours, and I don't have time to compress and burn internally. Help!

    With both my Panasonic and Ben-Q DVRs, I cannot actually record to disk thru the FW from the computer. I pass thru my DV deck.
    I find that I first have to export the Sequence as a Quicktime Movie (not self contained works fine) then bring that into the Viewer and just play it from there. I don't actually use Print to Tape for this, I just play it from the Viewer
    This generally has worked fine but once in a while I get sync issues

  • Audition doessn't record or playback

    In Audition CS6 record and playback worked well in Windows 7 but since I had to replace ii with a  Windows 8 computer the program does not record or playback any longer.  According to Adobe their  techs  said that there is no change to the program itself and it is compatible with Windows 8.  I updated my sound card to a Creative Z Sound Blaster and updated my old Harmon Karden Speaker system.  With all the software and hardware updated, I still can't record or playback my files.  Are there any Audio drivers for Audition that will let me record and playback or is there anything else I can do??  I need your help,  Thanks, Gene

    Even though Sound Blaster is far from the first choice for recording (their cards are more for gaming and playing videos) it should work with Audition.
    Have you gone into the Edit/Preferences/Audio Hardware menu and selected your new card as the source and playback destination?  You'll also have to select the type of driver (ASIO or MME...a few SB interfaces claim ASIO but most just do MME with the latency issues that entails).
    If you don't get the option of selecting your sound blaster card you may have to go into the Windows Audio Control panel and tell your computer to use that as the default device.  You may also need to go to Windows, then the SB software, then Audition and set each of them to use the same bit depth and sample rate settings...conflicts there are frequent causes of recording and playback problems.

  • Cannot record or playback 11.2

    Since the upgrade to 11.2 I cannot record or playback when using the RAZKIDS website.  Before with flashplayer 10 I could record a child talking while on the website and then play the recording back later to check proficiency.  The website no longer can do this with the upgrade.

    Thanks for looking into this matter for us.  I hope Learning A-Z contacts Adobe so this can be resolved.

  • Record and Playback performanc​e goes down at high frequency

    Hi,
    We're testing record and playback using USRP-2920( LV 2013sp1, NI-USRP 14)
    To test it, we downloaded record and playback example code.
    Signal source is a function generator outputting 6 MHz bandwidth 8 VSB modulation signal.
    USRP Rx parameters are center = variant / gain = 0 / IQ rate = 25MHz and Tx parameters are center = same as Rx center / gain = 0 / IQ rate = 25MHz
    The problem is... in low carrier frequency like 70MHz, quality of playback signal is great.
    But in high carrier freqency like 2.2GHz, SNR and signal power dropped significantly i.e. they tend to drop as carrier frequency goes high.
    And  the strange thing is as carrier frequency is increased, a small peak on the center is increased as well.
    Please check the attatched file to see the tendancy.
    So.. my question is why is this tendancy occures?(we tested another USRP and the result was same as before)
    and what should we do to reduce this effect?

    Hi,
    I suggest a couple of things:
    NI USRP 2920 is a non-calibrated device. So setting a gain value of 0 at different frequencies could mean a different actual gain. So try increasing the Rx recording gain (on the USRP) in cases where you observe low SNR. Similarly Tx is not calibrated.
    Is the signal recording done with cables or over wireless medium ? You can try to eliminate any spurious signals if you use SMA cables while recording.
    I think the power at the center of the spectrum is the DC offset. You may refer to the DC Offset/LO leakage section in the best practices section here http://www.ni.com/white-paper/13881/en/

    Record your voice using iPhone (for ringtone only 35 secs or under are valid), sync iPhone with iTunes.
    In iTunes the recorded voice is listed under Music as some_numbers.m4a.
    Right click on the item and choose Create AAC version.
    Drag the converted voice onto the desktop.
    Delete the voice copy in iTunes. (important step)
    On desktop, rename the some_number.m4a to something_more_intelligent.m4r
    Drag it back to iTunes and you will find it under Tones.
    Now select it (for sync) and connect your iPhone, do a sync.
    If everything works out, it will be in Settings > Sounds > Ringtone.
    Now choose a contact you want to assign this ringtone, tap Edit and add the ringtone.

  • How do I view playback position while a clip is playing?

    I just want to see where I am in the clip. For example, 5:03... 7:14... etc. I literally cannot figure out how to simply show where I am in the clip. This seems ridiculous. What am I doing wrong?  I have clips I need to edit based on time stamps... what am I supposed to do, sit here with a stop watch?  I am using iMovie 10.0.2.  OS is Mavericks 10.9.1 despite what stubborn and troublesome metadata at the bottom of this post says.

    Do you want to see the score to read from it while recording, am I right?
    If so, to be able to do that, you have to disable Catch and Link functions.
    Catch: Preferences -> Global -> Catch (uncheck everything, otherwise it will automatically switch on every time you move playhead or start recording or playback)
    Link: click on the symbol showing a chain (upper-left corner of each window) if it's highlighted in yellow (this will result in different content being displayed in any open window, so you can have one part of arrangement in Arrange and another part in the Score editor).

  • Media center crashing during recorded tv playback

    In the last month or so my Windows 7 Media center started crashing during Media Playback (Unhandled ExceptioN).  I've been using media center on this system and others for years and have never seen this type of crashing (expecially on Win7).  While
    I initially presumed that the issue was with a single system within a day or two I started to see the IDENTICAL issue on a SECOND system that I have that is also running Windows 7 x64.  They run with completely different types of Motherboards, cpu's (both
    are Intel but one is a Core i7-4770k and the other i7-2600k), both have different types of display adapter and displays (Display adapter on system 1 is NVidia GeForce GTX 650 Ti the display adapter on System 2 is NVidia GeForce GTS 450).
    However given the fact that they BOTH regularly crash 2-3 times per hour I'm suspecting a recent update, both systems are set to download and apply all critical system updates.  One system is playing back from local disk array (Raid), the other is playing
    back over the network. Both have failed when payback is of local content the second system has also failed when playback originates from the first system (via network share).
    System frequently has other applications tasks running so there could be conflicting tasks that influence, however system 2 is a dedicated system for recording and playback and runs little else besides Windows Media center.
    Given the only STRONG commonality between the two systems is:
    Version of Windows
    NVidia Drivers
    And given the fact that it's Unlikely that Microsoft is making any tweaks to Media Center on Win7.  I'm STRONGLY suspicious of the update that landed on my machines in Late Oct/Early Nov.  IS ANYONE
    ELSE SEEING ISSUES with Windows media center crashing on Windows 7 immediately following an Update from NVidia?  Details of my update are below.

    Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling graphic card or rollback?
    I shall suggest you to update the driver from Nvidia's site instead of Windows Update.
    You shall also look at the media center error logs to find out possible causes behind this issue.

  • Trying to view playback on an external monitor

    I need help understanding why I can't view my playback correctly.
    I've tried what I think is all troubleshooting possibilities.
    I am running FW out into an XL2 to a NTSC monitor.
    View/External Monitor/All Frames is selected and I have tried an array of different preference settings.

    I to am having trouble viewing playback on an external monitor.
    I just upgrade from FCP 4 to FCP 5. When I was using FCP 4 I had it set up that all I need was to click on the clip and it would be displayed on the external montior.
    In FCP 5 the only setting I can find for external monitor all through firewire.
    On my powerbook G4, I want to use the svideo out to an external monitor.
    I have gone through at there setting with no luck. Is there any setting that I am missing to get a signal to my external monitor?
    What do I need to do to get this fixed?

    I notice that all except "play base layer" of my "RT" settings in the timeline are grayed out.
    In system settings, RT, Video Quality, and Frame rate can be changed.
    I can view playback of my viewer, on the TV monitor.
    I've "refreshed video devices" in >view >video out,
    and have switched back and forth several times between "Apple Firewire NTSC (720 X 480) and Canvas playback in an effort to trigger some positive reaction in my favor.
    I may have inadvertently changed something, and "can't find my way back"

    I am working on CRM 5.0, IC Webclient. I have created a business transaction profile, and attached "Business Activity (0010)" as the transaction type.
    Now in the CIC screen, after clicking the "Interaction Record" hyperlink in the navigation bar, the "Interaction Record" view has the fields "Reason" and "Result" greyed out. However, in SAP GUI, the "Reason" field is editable and also has values in the drop down.
    Please guide.
