Suplier Collaboration business package

Hi,
I need some help , for configuring business package Supplier Collaboration 2.0.
I am folowing the link

I am getting some problem while running catalog status application, The message is displaying as "You are not a supplier user. Make sure your user profile is associated with a company."
I have already created a company in portal UMe and assigned the user to that company.
Where can I get this help link
SAP Solution Manager -> Configuration -> mySAP SRM 5.0 -> Basic Settings for mySAP SRM -> Business Package for Supplier Collaboration 2.0.

Business packages for SRM to implement EP

Hi All,
We are implementing SRM 5.5 in our company. Also, EP 7.0 we are implementing for SRM. Can anyone help me how to get the business packages for SRM and supplier collaboration, as i cant download it from sdn, as it is unrestricted shipment.
Also, how to import these business packages into EP.

The Business Package for Supplier Collaboration is also available from the <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/developerareas/contentportfolio">Portal Content Portfolio</a> in the Specialist section. You want to go for the 2.0 release.
Installation:
In SAP NetWeaver 2004s, the portal is installed as a usage type via SAPINST. For installing the Business Package for SRM 5.0, the installation process also goes via SAPINST. Please follow SAP note 883948.

Business packages for Order to Pay process

We do not have SRM available or installed in our landscape. In light of this I am wondering if there are any business packages to cater for the "order to pay process", where a user raises a requisition etc etc .. A package in the form available to HR environments such as ESS that can be imported and customized as required. Thanks in advance for info.

There is NO separate BP for Portal specific for SNC (not available in list of business packages by SAP and SNC 7.0 Master Guide)
SAP SNC as Add-On to SAP NetWeaver or SAP SNC as Part of a Full SAP SCM Server Installation
In case of former -
You need the Netweaver Stack of usage type PI / BI based on the requirements.
It is possible to use SAP Supply Network Collaboration (SAP SNC) together with SCM Basis outside of an SCM server installation. (Technically, SAP SNC and SCM Basis are add-ons to SAP NetWeaver.) SCM Basis includes all master data and functions that are cross-application-relevant for several SCM applications. The master data includes, for example, locations and products; the functions include SAP Core Interface for master data integration or the Transport Load Builder.
You can set up in SNC Web UI in web browser mode / SAP Easy Access Menu.

You can download the business package for project portfolio management from sdn.sap.com at SDN > Developer Areas > Portal > Portal Content Portfolio > Browse Content Portfolio > All Business Packages > Business Package for Project Portfolio Management and Design Collaboration.
The Business Package for Projects, Portfolio Management and Design Collaboration (PPMDC) 4.0 combines portfolio management with operational project management by offering access to SAP cProject Suite (cProjects and cFolders) and SAP xApp Resource and Portfolio Management (xRPM) via SAP Enterprise Portal.
This is compatible with the NW2004s Portal. We have used this business package for integrating the xRPM system into the Portal.

found this help on help sap site but it mention for portal 7.0 ,it will give you some idea ,may be you can ask SAP to provide the guide for 7.3 if its not available on SMP

Question about "BUSINESS PACKAGE FOR COMMUNICATION"

We want to configure "BUSINESS PACKAGE FOR COMMUNICATION_50_4_5" for EP 6.0 SP2. We have imported mentioned package in our EP 6.0. There are no errors in logfile.
In document "Transfer Collaboration Rooms from EP 5.0 to EP 6.0" (item 3.8) is described how we can create and configure systems for "Communication Framework", "Address Book Component", "Java Mail Connector" and "Mail Server", that was mentioned in documentation to "BUSINESS PACKAGE FOR COMMUNICATION_50_4_5".
But we can't create those systems because portal's archives: "com.sapportals.pct.comm.systems" and "com.sapportals.pct.col.sync.systems" are absent in our system (System Administration > System Configuration > System > Portal Content. Right click on directory and select "New From Portal Archive").
What we can do in this situation?

Hi Slava,
the Communication Package has been discontinued, it it not supported with EP6.
For the Coll.Rooms you have to configure the Groupware Connector according to the Admin Guide.

Need a Business Package for Vendor Portal with ECC as backend ?

Hello,
We are looking for a portal business package which can talk to backend ECC system and has the functionality to create/change/display POu2019s, Invoices, Inventory and reporting functionality. All this functionality needs to be available to Vendors via an External Facing Netweaver Portal.
I have gone through the list of BPu2019s available at https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/contentportfolio and found some BPu2019s available for Buyers which has the above required functionality, however it has exposed ECC transactions directly via Transaction iViews which we cannot expose to Vendors.
Also there is one Business Package called Supplier Collaboration which delivers the required functionality, but unfortunately we do not have SRM/SUS components in the project.
Please let me know if you know business package to implement or if not best practices to achieve the functionality.

Business Package for Colloboration Projects

I would like to know about the deployment about PPDMC (Projects, Portfolio Management and Design Collaboration). I need to deploy the PPMDC to EP 7.0.
As follows the xRPM installation guide, I need to install the CPRXRPM_UI. Is it right?
Actually, I can not find the the installation guide of PPMDC for cProjects. I got the installation guide for xRPM.
If we do not need to follow the xRPM installation guide, can I upload the PPMDC without CPRXRPM_UI using JSPM?
Please, let me know how to figure it out.

You can view the entire list of Business Packages on SDN itself. Just browse to the Developer Areas -> Enterprise Portal -> Portal Content Portfolio. On the Quick Links area, click on List of Packages. You will then be able to see the list. Check if what you are looking for is available there.

In SAP GUI version we have appointment calender accessed by Tcodes SSC1 and SSC0
what is the corresponding business package and iviews in the portal
is backed calender fully synchronised with portal?

I do not think there is a business package for your requirement. However, you could use the transaction codes to access them from portal or probably check this collaboration feature to see if it fits your requirement.

Upgrade a Business package that is customized.

Hi Gurus,
We have implemented the CPRXRPM_UI and Business Package for Project, Portfolio Management and Design Collaboration (PPMDC) on SAP Netweaver Portal.
We copied some of the iviews and pages that we wanted, into our own custom roles.
Now, is it a good practice to do this? And also, what happens when we upgrade? Does SAP upgrade its iviews and pages assigned to our custom roles too? If yes, is there any naming conventions that we need to follow? If we dont want the custom views to be upgraded, can we change the namespace to our own domain names?
And also since these iviews point to WD applications in CPRXRPM_UI, would their functionality change depending upon changes to the upgraded code?
Please advise.
What happens in other business packages upgrades? I did look around, but couldnt get the right 'search' query

Hi,
Well, it depends on the method you used to copy the content (iViews, Pages, Roles...). If you copied the content by delta link, your content will be upgraded but if you copied (standard copy) it then it won't.
EDIT : here's a quote from the documentation :
In both scenarios the advantages of the delta link method become apparent:
If the source object is reimported into the portal at a later time with changes to its contents,
these changes appear automatically in all the derived target objects.

Hi Sunil
Your point about the prerequisites lead me to the solution. The settings were wrong in Virtual Room settings in the Visual Administrator and the Collaboration Room Backend Properties in the portal. These need to be correct as a virtual room is created by the system when the planning round is created.
