Supplier is getting emails about closed notifications

Hi,
Supplier is getting emails about closed notifications while earlier he used to not receive such notifications. The message name is EMAIL_PO_PDF.
The Autoclose_FYI parameter is set to Y already in our case.
Which parameter decides the end date for this type of notifications ? As we see end date is sometimes only 1 min and for others it is 20-30 days.
Earlier the supplier was receiving only FYI notification emails like " +_KPN - Standard Purchase Order 3039086, 0_+ ". Now, he is receiving Closed notification emails like " _+*Closed*: KPN - Standard Purchase Order 3039086, 0+_ ". How come the supplier is suddenly receiving FYI notification emails with prefix CLOSED ?
Please suggest why they are generated and how to stop these CLOSED FYI email notifications as supplier does not want to receive them.

i didn't read a lot of your 2nd paragraph, but it seems like the password is the issue, right?
do a true clean install
reboot your machine and hold down command+option+r, you should see a spinning globe - if you don't see the globe or anything that reads internet recovery, shut down and try again
at menu, chose disk utility and once there, find your HD on the left side, select the physical name and erase it as mac journaled
exit disk utlity
at menu, choose install OSX
this time, when it asks for a password just hit continue, it will let you complete without a password
you should be able to get into your laptop, now figure out what password you'll be able to use with your kb issue

Has anyone else been getting emails about reseting password when they have not requested it? I have been getting several emails for the past couple of days where it says how to reset when I never asked to do so. Is there anything that should be done about it? Or anything apple can do about it for my email is very different and not easy to guess or duplicate.

One of my kids submitted their friends email as our verification email if anything needs changed so now I am not getting emails about my questions. I can not figure out where to find it to edit it

Somehow my security answers are not correct. So, I submitted to have the answers send to me and they are going to another e-mail address that I don't have access to. I can't find it in my account to edit it though. Anyone know where I can find it to change it?

My wife and I both have iPhone 5's that we bought 2 weeks ago. We are sharing a calendar and a "Grocery" list in reminders. I have everything set up where it is working properly but I keep getting emails when a change is made to the grocery list. I don't get emails when there are changes to the calendar.
I want to stop getting emails when there are changes made to our grocery list but I am not sure how to do it. We both have icloud accounts and we both have checked the box under preferences in my calendar for "in app notifications" for icloud invitations. When I open Reminders in icloud I don't see a preferences for reminders.
If it helps , or makes any difference, my wife has a yahoo mail account and I have a hotmail account. She does not get emails about changes being made.

Did you try to switch Push "off" and fetch to "manually"? This way no mail is delivered until you choose to open the mail app. The moment you open Mail on your device, your mail account will be checked and if any, mail will be delivered.
Fetch New Data
This setting lets you turn Push on or off for MobileMe, Microsoft Exchange, Yahoo!, and any other push accounts on iPhone. Push accounts deliver new information to iPhone whenever new information appears on the server (some delays may occur). You might want to turn Push off to suspend delivery of email and other information, or to conserve battery life.
When Push is off, and with accounts that don’t support push, data can still be fetched—that is, iPhone can check with the server and see if new information is available. Use the Fetch New Data setting to determine how often data is requested. For optimal battery life, don’t fetch too often.
Turn Push on: Choose “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” > Fetch New Data, then tap to turn Push on.

Me too! It's really annoying! I keep getting emails about games or apps that I've "purchased" using a device that is not usually associated with my account. I haven't ordered them and neither has anyone else in my family so I don't know what's going on?! I keep changing my password and it just keeps happening anyway. Help please?

How do I get email and text message banner notifications on my iphone when the phone is locked? When I had iOS 6 I could get notifications with sound and banner. Now that I have iOS7 I can't see notificaitons when the phone is locked.

Originally we were getting the error that the phone could not connect. Then, after deleting the account multiple times and re-adding it again, the error message CHANGED to having to log in to Yahoo and authorize.
When we went to Yahoo in a regular browser and logged in there was an alert telling us about connection attempts so it disabled mobile/iphone connectivity. It required that we change our password FIRST.
Then, we went in to Manage Apps and Webpages and saw that iPhone was not there but Facebook was.
After all of this went back to the phone and deleted then re-added the account again and SUCCESS!
It now also shows up on the Yahoo Manage Apps and Webpages.
Hope this helps someone else. Please consider giving me points if it does or like the post.

Notification sounds only when I get email from address book contacts

I am getting constant sound notifications whenever I get email but very few emails really require instant attention. I do not want to hear a sound when I get an email, except when the sender is one of my contacts. What settings do I need to make this happen? Thanks.

I have an issue on a live SP2013 farm that is really causing me grief. Although I ( Farm Admin) and my other users can follow items which are subsequently confirmed in our respective News Feeds -
none of my users are are actually getting emails notifications .
Alerts ( did) work fine.
I have written some PS to vew and set the SPS-EmailOptin for each user

For my currrent client I set up a development intranet which had the seperate web apps for the main portal and mysites. Test users were able to follow documents, sites without any problems. Before go live I was asked to accomodate a requirement
where there is only one web application (don't ask!) effectivley http://myintranet
so mysites sits under http://myintranet/mysites . I made the appropriate changes to my AutoSPInstaller scritpt and al appearedd l good : services , Service appplications, mysites are all started. I am using
the two app pool accounts one for the portal and one for mysites.
A quick look at the the releated threads on this forum indicated permssions could be DB permissions related tho I am not seeing anything in ULS to strongly point to this

Notifications ... how do I stop getting email notifications? I like this site but now I get 20-50 or more notifications a day in my email. I would rather shut that off and check back on my own now....

Once you've turned off notifications, you won't get new ones. But you still have to cancel the notifications you've been receiving. This thread explains how at the top: https://discussions.apple.com/static/apple/tutorial/email.html
