Supply Chain Information Site

If you are looking for information or user documents for Supply Chain Manufacturing, you can locate many of them at my site. www.larrysherrod.com Please come by and check it out.

Today, any integrated system must include 'supply chain' as a part of the system. It has to have a 'chain link' to the extent of input suppliers & output customers, and beyond.

  • How can I stop Firefox from blocking sites that do not supply ownership information?

    I am trying to access a website and I get a 400 Bad Request message. Further "research" leads to the "This website does not supply ownership information" message. I have cleared history and cookies, reloaded the page and followed all the answers given in relevant support pages but nothing works. All other browsers allow me to see the page, but I do not want to keep switching to chrome or IE. There must be a security setting somewhere that must be switched off. I find it extremely annoying to be saddled with settings I have not asked for, have no information on have no way to control. This is what Microsoft does and why I use Mozilla.

    It would help if you could provide the address for an example of such a site so others may check it. Give as an example something publicly accessible and not needing registration.
    Is any other software interfering?

    Have you tried clearing site cookies, reloading using Ctrl+F5 and maybe clearing the Firefox cache.
    If you have problems with only one site and only in Firefox, the problem is often outdated or corrupt files relating to that web page. I suggest you try the following.

    #Clear the cache, and cookies only from problem websites.

    A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
    Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

  • After starting my computer today and trying to visit and open bookmarked web sites, I cannot open them because I am getting this error message: This web site does not supply identity information. What happened? How do I fix it? Thanks

    Today, when I tried to open web sites in Firefox from my Bookmarks, I could not. I continually received the following error message: This web site does not supply identity information.
    I noticed that when I put the cursor on the box to the left of the address, that message appears. There is also '''no''' https:// before the address.
    Can anyone help correct this problem? I believe sometime last week I may have fiddled with the Secutity settings in the Tools/Security option box and may have screwed up something trying not to have sites use cookies to track me?
    Thanks,
    Bob

    only title bar opens and nothing else....please help

    Normally, when you connect via http, the browser doesn't check for site identity, so I don't understand what's happening there.
    Do you have any security-related add-ons that force popular sites to use a secure connection, or claim to provide anonymous browsing?
    Were you making the connection on your own network or on a public network (e.g., school, coffee shop)? If it was a public network, maybe the error indicates that your traffic was being intercepted???
    Without hands on, this is a tough one to diagnose.

  • SNP resource overload alerts not appearing in Supply Chain Cockpit

    I am using APO 5.1.
    We use APO SNP for capacity planning, and can see various capacity overload alerts in the alert monitor.
    But even though the Supply Chain Cockpit is linked to the correct alert profile, we do not see these alerts attached to the respective objects in the Supply Chain Cockpit.
    Any ideas on why this should be?...

    Hello,
    If you want to use the Alert Monitor within the Supply Chain Cockpit (SCC) in SAP APO, you must assign application-specific alert profiles to your SCC user profile. In the upper right area of the SCC, you can see the existing alerts for the applications.

  • SRKIM: R12: Supplier Contact Information을 확인 하는 SQL

    PURPOSE
    R12 에서 Supplier Contact Information 을 SQL 로 직접 확인 하는 방법을 알고자 한다.
    EXPLANATION
    r12 는 SUPPLIER CONTACT 정보를 저장 하는 방식이 R11i 때와는 차이가 있다. 대부분의 정보가 여러 TCA tables 에 걸쳐 저장된다.
    AP_SUPPLIER_CONTACTS table 은 supplier address 와 various TCA tables을 연결 하는 linking table 이고 HZ_PARTIES 및 HZ_RELATIONSHIPS table 에 contact 정보가 저장이 된다.
    AP_SUPPLIER_CONTACTS의 아래 columns 들은 HZ table 과 다음과 같이 mapping 된다.
    Per_Party_ID = Party_ID of PERSON Party in HZ_PARTIES
    Relationship_ID = Relationship_ID of Rows in HZ_RELATIONHIPS
    Rel_Party_ID = Party_ID of PARTY_RELATIONSHIP Party in HZ_PARTIES
    Party_Site_ID = Maps to the Party Site created for the PARTY_RELATIONSHIP Party
    Org_Contact_ID = Org_Contact_ID from HZ_ORG_CONTACTS
    Org_Party_Site_ID = Party_Site_ID of the Supplier Site row.
    따라서 party_site_id 를 알 경우 아래 sql을 이용하여 Supplier contact 정보를 확인 할 수 있다.
    SELECT PERSON.person_first_name, PERSON.person_last_name, PTY_REL.address1,
    PTY_REL.City, PTY_REL.state, PTY_REL.country,
    PTY_REL.Primary_phone_area_code, PTY_REL.primary_phone_number
    FROM hz_parties PERSON, hz_parties PTY_REL, ap_supplier_contacts APSC
    WHERE APSC.per_party_id = PERSON.party_id

  • Supply Chain Visibilty

    Dear Colleagues;
    Reaching out to supply chain professionals for a general question on visibility.
    SAP has provided for basic functions ofASN and confirmations in procurement from the vendors to provide information on the purchase order line.  What are others doing regarding communication during shipment from vendor, and when the shipment is dropped in the yard?  Are you using SAP in any way? i.e once the vendor has shipped say by boat or train, how is the data being captured, if at all.
    Has anyone configured additional confirmation types to 'track' this movment for visibility purposes, or has other functionality been developed/deployed to assist in the supply visibility process within SAP?  Again, other types from a visibilty point of view.  If you have configured custom types, are they relevant for MRP for example? Or for reporting strictly...?  Etc...
    Any insights into what others are doing is truly appreciated!

    Hi Jeff,
    I worked on this scenario in an automobile industry, the requirement was same
    When the vendor sends the shipment SAP should be able to track it and consider stock in transit for MRP
    Two options were evaluated 1) SRM SUS ( Supplier self service) (2) Developing the Enterprise portal and interfacing to SAP
    Client opted for second, using netweaver component of SAP, supplier was given access to update shipping data on portal
    Interface use to create an Inbound delivery with reference to the shipment data, once inbound delivery in created MRP can take into
    account it as stock in transit.
    The easy option would be to take shipment data and let the Purchasing create IBD manually if Portal or SUS are out of reach
    Thanks

  • Implementing Finanacial Supply Chain Management - Collections Managment

    Dear all
    We are in the process of Implementing Financial Supply Chain Management - Collections Management. We are also looking at business content in BI 7.0 as reporting solution.
    While 0CLM_MC1 and 0CLM_MC2 are providing most of the data related to call worklist (like amount due, amount disputed, amount promised,dunning level etc etc) , an important piece of information that is crucial for debt reviews which is the text information stored in promise to pay and customer contact is missing.
    Is there any way to upload this information (Long Text)  is BI.
    Thanks & Regards
    Sachchida Nand Dubey

    Hi,
    U can go for BDC to upload ..
    i.e.
    'GUI_UPLOAD'
    In general BDC and BAPI's are used to upload the data...mainly BAPI s are used to upload the bulk data...
    if it screen flow then go for BDC upload...otherwise go for the BAPIs FM's

  • Mobile Supply Chain SET UP - BR100

    We are in the first steps of the implementation phase of setting up the application. Using AIM, we have created BR100s to document our set up. Have not been able to locate any such documentation for Mobile Supply Chain.

    We are implementing MSCA also and created our own Set Up documents. We are having problems not only in the implementation but also with Oracle Support. We have even request on-site Oracle Consulting Services.

  • Use of Supply Chain Engineer

    Hi,
      What's the use of Supply Chain Engineer (Tcode:/SAPAPO/SCC07)? Does the APO implementation project really needs it?
    And let me know in which case do we generally use it.
    - Ram.

    Hi Ram,
    This is fully integrated APO component for creating models
    which performs planning functions which covers network
    chain, supplier, customer.
    We can use this functionality to create & maintain models
    in a network in a typical supply chain.   A model in turn can
    link to various versions (both active and simulations).
    We can also have an eye watch of supply chain elements
    like various products, master data like lanes, quota, resources,
    ppm etc.,
    We can also use this tool to execute queries so that it comes
    with information about individual data.
