SUPPORT FAILS TO DO THEIR JOB

Been trying to get help from Support for months and keep getting the run around.  multiple reps, supervisors, requests go unanswered.  Just the latest example: I was told on Dec 2 letters would be sent to me to give to T-Mobile to get the early termination fees reimbursed for two phones I no longer have on my account.  Never received them.  Called back and was told, they see that in the notes, but Verizon doesn't send out letters.  SMH  Last week, I was told I would received a label to return the defective device I have (the label was supposed to be in the box).  Rep said two to three business days.  Still haven't received the label.  Financial support says they will shut my phone off again because they will only give you two days to get anything done, but I'm waiting on them!  I've been a loyal customer since Aug 1999 and it has been nothing but hell the past few months.  When will VZ help me get this finished so my account can be current again?

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.
Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe". Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.

    As I wrote in my previous thread, my customer adopted multi-windows application design because they didn't know it caused viewExpiredException frequently.
    Now I'm looking for the best setting for avoiding the exception and need ADF guru's help.
    Frank said that ADF is on Sun's RI. And it seems that the state-saving parameters of Mojarra are working correctly in my environment. However any ADF docs don't mention the behavior of server-side state saving clearly. When I set state-saving method "server", view states are managed per logical view (≒ window). And it seems better for multi-window application than using client-token based state management from the perspective of preventing viewExpiredException.
    Because fail over is not their requirement, if we could make sure that server-side state saving doesn't have other side-effects they might adopt it.
    So I'd like to know in more detail about the behavior.

    If you purchased the iMac less than 3 years ago and it has got one of the defective hard disks, Apple will still replace it for free. Make a backup of your files with Time Machine and take your computer to an Apple Store or reseller. A Genius will check if your Mac was purchased less than 3 years ago.
    If the computer is older, you will have to pay. Note that if you already have the iMac on April 12th, 2013 and before, and you knew that your iMac had a defective hard disk, you should have taken it even if the hard drive was working correctly

    Well, in his defense, his parents bought him the player so I guess we can't blame him. Though the 6 GB versions were available in November so I guess they really did get 'nervous' about Christmas and like to get their shopping done early! Kudo's to you for trying to remain with the Creative line but for what you're looking for it's obviously not the player for you. Creative seems to be fine-tuning their line for the audio crowd. I'm into mp3 players for the audio. Sure, the ability to watch video's and look at pictures on a decent screen is a plus but for me at least, it's all about the music. And with music, 6 GB is more than enough. Heck, 8 GB would have been more than enough for me. I'm a subscriber to Napster-to-go, so I don't feel the need to carry 00 plus GB of stuff on my portable player. I honestly don't understand the desire to watch movies or TV shows on tiny little screens. But you're also talking to a guy who doesn't watch television. What a complete waste of time and brain cells. Probably the **competitor products we can't discuss here** or one of those players would better suit your needs. Companies are definately picking their niche markets carefully and Creative's decision to not offer hard dri've players any more seems to definately be saying bye-bye to that market. I can't say I blame them. Hard dri'ves eventually give up the ghost and are quite delicate for people on the go. Good ridance, I say. Let Apple, Zune and all the others cater to the Z generation's need to be spoonfed their video/TV addictions anywhere and everywhere. I'll pass. It's one thing to be able to enjoy some music on the go and enhance an otherwise dull work day or dri've. But movies/TV shows at work, school, or wherever? Please. Cut the cord! Just my $.02 - YMMV!     Havent't found much regarding this error and CloudControl 12c. Any help will truly get appreciated...

    many thanks for your support and help so far.
    We still use GridControl 10g - and for that the programs/jobs executed by dbms_scheduler work fine since I have modified the configuration as suggested in your posts.
    But with CloudControl 12c I don't get that thing working - and I'm truly astonished that it doesn't work right away :-(
    The error

    I anybody out there who has jobs/programs running without any problems under CloudControl12c?
    Our CloudControl ist installed under RedHat Linux EnterpriseEdition (5.7).

    Can't install open office; youtube videos are green screen (audio ok); using call HP Tech Support fails (no reason given)
    1) Can't turn McAfee Livesafe off, and think it's what's keeping me from installing Open Office.  It downloads but can't install. 
    2) At work on wireless guest,  youtube looks fine.  At home on ethernet through DISH satellite, it's green screen.  This is not he case with my older HP laptop connected to the same ethernet cable.
    3) Why is HP tech support rejecting me, after I type everything in?  If I ca't use it, don't make it an option!!!!  The forums were choice #2, so here I am ... make me proud ...

    McAfee products are problematic on some systems and suggest you uninstall it using their removal too then reboot:

    Build in Windows Defender should reactivate after the reinstall.  As an antivirus product it is adequate as long as you practice safe surfing habits.
    Windows key + X, select Command Prompt (Admin) and type:  sfc /scannow
    Let me know if it does not fix all or any corrupt system files.
    Reboot and now try your Youtube.
    I do not have an answer to what transpired between you and HP Support but only to say you should come here first.
    Please mark my post as SOLVED if it has resolved your problem. It helps others with similar situations.

    Hello Vijay,
    The "Database system not supported" error you see, suggests that your TCOLL table is not setup correctly. You probably have a report scheduled in your TCOLL which is for a different DB then the one you run.
    If the collector canels all the time, then this is probably a report which is scheduled to run every hour in your TCOLL. If it only cancels sometimes, then it should be easier to identify which report is causing it in your TCOLL.
    The bottom line is to ensure your TCOLL is setup correctly and that you are not running DB reports there that are for a different DB than the one you use. The SAP note you follow to setup your TCOLL table depends on your SAP system version:
    12103 - Contents of the TCOLL table
    970449 - Contents of TCOLL table in SAP_BASIS 640
    966309 - Contents of table TCOLL in SAP_BASIS 700
    966631 - Contents of TCOLL table in SAP_BASIS 710

  • DAC fails to complete his job..

    I hope someone can help me on this.
    I have installed eBS 11.5.10.2 (including the vision database) & BIA 7.9.3 & OIEE10.1.3.3.1.
    Now I started the dac client and started the complete oracle 11.5.10.
    Now it fails at the 177th job.
    I think it has something to do with the tablespace or something, but don't know what (it is big enough)
    It fails on: SDE_ORA_GLJournals and on TASK_GROUP_Extract_EmployeeEventFact and on SDA_ORA_Per_Assg_For_PayrollFact
    When I look in the log file of the GLJournals I see the following:

    I do not think it is the size of the TEMP tablespace but rather the settings of the Extents, or your default extent in this case.
    I searched your error message and the remedy is to use a larger value for MAXEXTENTS on the base segment or make the extents in the temporary segments larger.
    For example: set the initial extent to at least 1 mb, next extent also 1 mb, and maxextents to unlimited.
    Maxextents should be unlimited always, as there is no longer a technical reason the limit the number of extents.
    You may also want to try to run a subset of 11.5.10 just to get a successful run. Consider OM (Enterprise Sales) or HR.
    But watch out there is a potential duplicate record in the PER_ALL_PEOPLE_F table. I posted about it on another thread.

    Thanks for your reply.  Yes I could solve the issue as my Operation mode was inactive, I made it active and then could schedule the DB13 jobs. 
    Can you tell me what is the relationship between DB13 jobs scheduling and Operation mode.  Also note when I am scheduling DB13 jobs that time none of the background job is running ie my background wp is free. It is only after I activated day/night operation mode, I could schedule the backup.

    when I try to delete or edit any DBA Job in transaction DB13 the following error is displayed:
    An error occurred when processing system
    Function DB6_PLAN_DELETE_BATCH failed with return code = Job error
    How can I fix this error and delete or change my DBA jobs?
    My syste is SAP ECC 6.0 SR3 - Solaris 10 - Oracle 10.2.0.4.0

I can't tell you the amount of people that are infuriated with this company. Creative seems to be more concerned with releasing a hundred versions of the same type of mp3 player instead of supporting the mp3 players they've already released. I have owned multiple Creative products including soundcards and mp3 players. The lastest one- the Creative X-FI(with wireless lan) is one of the glitchiest players I've ever owned yet their last firmware update was 2 years ago- 2 YEARS!!
    !!! I've had it with this ridiculous company. They would be the envy of Apple if they could only get their customer support together instead they'd much rather watch their customer base slowly evaporate.

    I TOTALLY agree. Not only does their product support blow, so does their customer support. I can't find anywhere to contact these people regarding my warranty return status. I have typed the RMA info in for 3 days now and all I receive is an internal error! WTF :angry:
    The contact us link is just another link back the same options on the page. SO "contact us" really means "Good luck clicking around in a circle until you give up." I really hope that they send me my product back, lord knows I can't track its status anymore.
    This will be the LAST thing I ever purchase from Creative until I've heared that they have gotten their act together.

       The error code 0x8007000e generated due to two reason
    1:- 1st Reason is low memory.means your system is going out of memory,
    2:- The 2nd Reason is if your out of space,means the Drive where your updates were supposed to be placed is full,
    so 1st check you Event Viewer if there is any Memory related logs.if there is then close all the unnecessary applications and run the cycles again
    and in the second case free some space on the drive which is out of space.

  • Continuing inability to resolve Mobile Device Support failed to install

    Windows Vista Premier Home 64 bit on HP desktop
    I see this is clearly a common and frustrating problem esp for various 64 bit versions. Mine just happens to be Vista 64 and HP but I see other seemingly similar problems with other versions of the OS and hardware. There are numerous posts and, many suggested resolutions for these similar problems - none of which have I been able to get to work for me. Unfortunately my problem started because I thought I was doing the right thing to install regular ITunes updates.
    The clearest clue I get is the apparent failure of the Installer under some unknown condition to successfully install the USBAAPL64 driver in AMDS last fall. (Yes, my family's devices have been unable to be updated for months) Many posts indicate many people must see the same problem. With a complete install the AMDS install step rolls back. At a lower level of debugging, I see error messages saying basically that there is no certificate or the certificate is invalid for the USBAAPL64 driver. It is not clear this is really the case; however, the install process ultimately must think so.
    I have followed ALL Apple advice to my knowledge exactly as far as attempts to correctly un-install and reinstall Apple products. I have carefully followed the debugging steps outlined by Apple. I have probably read just about every trick resolution posted on the Internet for manual attemppt to install AMDS or just the driver to fix this very problem . Ultimately I end up with these failures seemingly pointing to an uninstallable USBAAPL64 driver.
    But WHY? I can not seem to find any post anywhere that seems to identify why the driver install fails and how to resolve it though some resolutions appear to have worked for some people. I think I have tried every suggested approach to install and/or reinstall the driver at the lowest level or to delete and reinstall AMDS. When the seemingly simple step to install and/or re-install the
    I am certainly perplexed that there is no clear resolutions here at the APPLE corporate support site with so many apparently frustrated owners of now dead devices.
    I apologize that my frustration is so obvious but surely some answer to this must exist. It may not even be an APPLE problem per se but with as many APPLE customers not able to use their devices it would seem like APPLE could identify a workable fix.
