Support for 4k display

On my Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro with 4k Display, the menu items and toolbar icons are so small that i can hardly read them, or click on them. Will there be updates supporting 4k displays?

I'm starting to see that some of the Apps I have installed are showing updates for 'enabled support for Retina display'. So how do Apps look on the new iPad before they get this support? Just the same as on iPad 2?!

IBook support for cinema displays

I have a 1.2 G4 iBook with an Nvidia Go 5200 graphics card. Does anyone know if this card will run either the 20 or 23 Apple cinema display at the recommended resolutions?

Yes, but you won't be happy with the results.
1. Your new iBook has: "Video mirroring supports VGA video out to an external display". In English, this means:
a. Analog (not digtial) video out.
b. The external monitor will only show (i.e., mirror) what is on your iBook screen.
2. All LCD monitors (laptop or standalone) have a native resolution. Trying to use them at any other resolution results in a poor quality dislay. Everything is slightly fuzzy.
a. Your iBook has: "Support for millions of colors at 1024 x 768 pixel resolution".
b. The Apple Cinema Display (20-inch) has: "1680 x 1050 pixels (optimum resolution)".
So, we have an incompatibility.
3. The iBook has analog video output while the ACD has "DVI (Digital Visual Interface)".
This means you need an adapter to convert analog to digital. I could not find one in the Apple Store. But, I ma sure they exist.

Pages support for retina display

Any idea when Pages will be updated to support the retinal display? It looks terrible and is almost unusable compared to Pages on a regular display.

I fully understand about the price. This notebook is to last me the next three years so I fully optioned it up to the max. I know bit of an overkill for someone who only uses pages and writes fiction so I don't even use any pictures or strange layouts... I wanted something though that has a very clear display. The only fonts I use are Andale Mono and Courier so I'm hoping they look pretty good until a Pages Retnia update hits. I can always plug it into my Thunderbolt display till then anyway. I still have about about a month to wait before my MBPr even ships so hopefully all the issues will be resolved by then.

Bridge not supported for 4K displays

Fortunately Adobe upgrade the main players such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign to support 4K displays like mine. But unfortunately, Bridge (and the Creative Cloud app itself!) are not, making it literally impossible to use, as everything is extremely tiny and the text illegible.
My question is "Why?!", it's 2015 and 4K is all over the place. It's about time, don't you think?...

You can always hope for the next update...

Support for multiple displays?

I today evaluated the benefit of having a seconds display on my machine. I'm a little stunned there's no obvious way in InDesign to display menu, panels a.s.o. on one display and the layout work on the other.
Is it really not possible or did I overlook something?

And when you have got your panels and panel tabs where you like them, save them as a custom workspace.
The one thing you can't do - well I can't do it - is to move the panel button bar from where it's docked at the right
side of the main programme window and put that in the second monitor.
I cheat by overlapping the main programme window on to the second monitor so the panel dock now resides with the
toolbars and permanently open panels on the second monitor, leaving the first mintor clear for the layout window (except
when I open a panel from the dock).

Creative Cloud support for hiDPI Displays

Just got a new Dell XPS 15 with a hiDPI Displaty and had to discover hat im barely able to use any CC App except Indesign because of a Ui that is viewable with strong glasses only.
Is there any workaround or fix for this besides lowering resolution?

Several apps have received High-DPI support in updates, so if you haven't applied them, do so. Otherwise you will have to live with one or the otehr thing not being particulalrly nice to look at. This unfortunately is still all over the place and Adobe seems to have no masterplan...

Is there support yet for PC high DPI displays? I see there is support for Apple....

Have been a user of Photoshop Elements for many years. Presently have version 12, which is unusable on my Dell XPS 15" with 4K Ultra HD display. I found a statement somewhere on Adobe's site that there is support for HiDPI displays from Apple, but no mention of Windows machines. Scaling, changing resolution, etc. doesn't help - the icons are tiny and can't be seen by my eyes without squinting or a magnifying glass. I don't want to switch programs but will if support isn't there for displays like mine that are more common every day.....

Yes, in PSE 13 but definitely do the trial first to see if it works well for your display.

Language Support for Content in Air

We are developing an app for displaying content in a number
of languages. Can we assume that any language that can be viewed in
a web browser can also be viewed properly in an Air app?
There are a few languages that
Air
ships with, which allow a user to read dialog boxes and
messages in their own native language. However, I imagine that more
languages can be supported for the display of content within an
app. E.g. a user may be using the English version of Air, viewing
content in Urdu. Our app will show content from numerous UTF-8
encoded Atom feeds.
The specific languages that we need to support are:

* Urdu
* Hindi
* Turkish
* Vietnamese
* English
* Spanish
* Brazilian Portuguese

Will all of these be fine? Is there anything that we need to

The bug is known, and a patch has been submitted: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=80151. There's been no update since friday, so I wonder what the current status is, or if it's up for review at all.
Does anyone know how we can be notified when this patch hits the kernel?

Page slow - Disabled grid support for display point

The page loads slowly and it shows the following debug entries "Disabled grid support for display point".
There is as well global page 0's regions in the page.
I can't figure out which page regions/items are our exceeding the grid.
The show-grid on the page shows green grid, but hmm. cant figure out the amount of grids.
1. Where to look for this grid + items problem in the Page Designer?

Hi, found inefficient sql and by using Tuning Advisor I was able to tune them, so now it renders faster.
When looking the LEVEL9 debugs there are still those rows with

So the question are those messages 'harmless' and can I leave the page as it is or should I try to find what is leaking on the page?
What is the consequence of Disabling grid support - messed page on certain browser?
Is there method to show how many GRID's there are (12 ?) and which page item is in which grid.
