Support for croatian keyboard

I would like to know if team for Adobe Story will include support for a croatian type of keyboard or at least, include support for croatian letters ? Thanks in advance

You'll have to wait for some time. We'll try to get to it soon. Till that time I would really encourage you to continue working in Story in other languages that are available. Thanks for your patience. Also let us know if you have some feature requests on your mind.

  • Ukrainian language support for virtual keyboard

I'm very interested to be able to write in Ukrainian language on BlackBerry 10. However, the Ukrainian layout is missing. Thus, I created a new feature request which you can find here: https://www.blackberry.com/jira/browse/BBTEN-858.
If anybody else is also interested, please, follow the link and vote for it.

Any news on this at all? Any word from BlackBerry or elsewhere that Ukrainian will be included as a keyboard input option in future OS updates?
No news from my side but there's an article on ITC.ua which states that Ukrainian mobile operator MTS announced Ukrainian language support for BlackBerry 7 and 10 to be delivered by this summer. Not sure, however, whether it will be included in all ROMs or in some custom MTS one. Here's this article: http://itc.ua/news/smartfonyi-blackberry-poluchat-podderzhku-ukrainskogo-yazyika/

  • Logic Pro X offers support for old keyboards?

from Apple's website: "Control Surface Support: Korg: Kontrol49, microKontrol"  Is this really the only keyboard controllers that the new Logic Pro X is supporting? I can only find these on ebay. Any recommendations for a keyboard controller?

Remember, 'Support' doesn't actually mean that this is a complete list of controllers that will work. It's simply a selection of presets containing pre-assigned MIDI controls, a bit like you telling an electronic drumkit to play C3 when you hit the kick etc.
Most controllers have a 'Mackie Control mode' that change the assignements in the controller to ones identical to the Mackie control and thus work with the Mackie Control preset. Nealy all the rest have presets online that can be added to the list and used.

  • AZERTY support for external keyboards

Is there a way for the Palybook to support keyboard other than US version for bluetoth keyboard.
Mine is french azerty (Microsoft 6000) but It is mapped as an US (qwerty) when typing.

Still works over command-line though, I found out.

  • Support for ABNT2 keyboard layout

Is there any plan for supporting ABNT2 keyboard layout (Brazilian layout)?
It is a great leap introducing international keyboard, but customizing keyboard layouts or including additional layouts would be a nice feature.
Some languages require the use of dead keys, cediles, cincunflexes, etc, etc.
There are some options developed by third parties: like Ukelele or Brasileiro programs.
My major concern is just about not using an official program when just adding info to my computer. One of my decisions when buying a Mac was about security concerns.
I would like to hear comments about risk concerns and tests about these 2 programs (Ukelele and Brasileiro) as well.
    Thank you very much,
    Marcio

Nobody here can tell you anything about Apple's plans, we are just users like yourself. To tell Apple what you want, use this link:

There is absolutely no need to be concerned about Ukelele and keyboards made by it. Countless people have been using them now for many years without any problem. I myself have made an ABNT keyboard available to people for a long time now:

  • Preview support for wireless keyboards

    Hi . . . .
    A simple question.
Is there a keyboard command to preview video and/or audio if you have one of the Apple wireless keyboards (that do not have a numeric keypad) ?
Or am I destined for a life time of sub menu slavery if I need to preview audio (which is 99% of what I do !).
    Cheers for any help.
    Lee

    Help !
Ok, I went to the Sebastien Perier website . . . and found the keyboard shortcuts text file, it was straightforward enough to change 'Audio Preview' to the period button on my wireless keyboard (below: italicised and in bold) - after first making sure nothing else was using the period button.
I then tried the same with 'Preview' (below: italicised and in bold) - but regardless of what I assign the command to (currently in this example F5) it won't work ? I am also making sure what I try is not in use by anything else, and all the obvious stuff like relaunching AE after each edit of the text file . . . . but nothing will seem to work, whatever key (or combination of keys) I try AE does nothing when I relaunch AE and press the key/s ?
    Anyone got any clues ?
Here's the section I am editing.
    ["CEggApp"]

  • Macally drops support for Post-Op/iMedia FCP Keyboard on Intels

Though I doubt you can buy one anymore, and Post-Op the company I paid $180.00 to, no longer sells them, I thought I would post this info for those using it now, or finding an old one on e-bay.
PRODUCT: Post-Op EZ keyboard is just a repackaged Macally iMedia Key keyboard. You used the Macally iMedia software to program the custom button along the top, and you could program an eject button, which the new Mac Pros need, (though F12 would work for one optical bay). While the keys still work for input, without updated software you can't program the buttons now on Intel Tiger or Intel Leopard. I wrote them and this was the Christmas cheer message I received.
    Dear Customer,
    Thank you for contacting us.
I am sorry that we'll not have Intel Mac driver support for this keyboard.
For Eject, you may press and hold the F12 key for 1 second to open/close the CD tray.
If you have any question, please let me know. Wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,

  • Diacritical marks for International Keyboard configurations

So where are the accents (igrecs and igravs) for French? Also how can you download other International keyboards? And if you can, will they be missing diacritical marks above words too; such as the fáda for Irish?

Hmm I just wanted the Irish keyboard to put a fáda over the vowels.
You don't need any special keyboard to do that. áéíóú are available on the iPod Touch by holding down the base letter. A menu of accented versions of the base letter then appears which you can choose from.
Anyway my cousin said the unicode for the french igrecs and igravs is probably different anyway so they wouldn't work as a substitute.
French would work fine. The diacritics are exactly the same in Unicode.
I was just curious if Apple has support for international keyboards.
Yes, the full OS X has dozens of keyboard layouts.
But I guess what the iPod touch has on it is very rudimentary so it wouldn't bother with most keyboards. I'm not even sure if I saw Korean on it. It seemed to only have Japanese.
Because of the method the iPod Touch uses (i.e. an extra menu of variations for each character), there's no need for a lot of keyboards to cover a lot of languages. But it is still limited to W. European, E. European, and Japanese at this time. Cyrillic, Greek, Arabic, Hebrew, Korean, Chinese, Indic, Thai, Vietnamese, and various other languages cannot yet be input.

  • Keyboard support for AR 9.4.1 in ubuntu

I'm running adobe reader 9.4.1 in my ubuntu desktop. I would like to make annotation on pdf files by highlighting texts in different colors. Of course I can achieve this by several clicks, but I prefer to do that more efficiently. I explored a software called Autokey which can simulate pre-assigned keyboard strokes. I intend to use it to change the color of the highlights. But my research stopped at changing the color in the property menu of adobe reader, where it seemed impossible to active another color setting except the default one by keyboard strokes. It seems that I can do these in other adobe versions. Am I missing anything here?

My problem seems too specific to search for. I'm not looking the manual for the keyboard support, I'm rather reporting a bug and pursue a fix.

  • No 3G iPhone support for Greek language/keyboard!

Last Friday, the very first day of appearance of iPhone in the greek market, I bought, from a greek Vodafone shop, a 16GB iPhone 3G.
It was quite a bad surprise and disappointment to me, when i realized that greek language was not included and supported in the international language and keyboard package of the device! That makes it the first mobile phone Vodafone provides to the greek market, without supporting greek language! When I mentioned that to Vodafone people, here in Athens, Greece, they blamed Apple for that problem. They said that a new firmware update is expected by Apple, and probably then the problem will be solved!!
So, ladies and gentlemen, is there any information about the availability of greek language/keyboard support for the 3G iPhone?
    Thank you for your time

i sen this to support under enhancement request in case anyone is bored of typing:
    Hi,
I recently signed a contract with vodafone Greece for 46 € plan (one of the more expensive from the countries that the iPhone is available) in order to get an iPhone 3G 16GB for 430 € (also one of the highest prices of iPhone with a contract) only to find out that there is no Greek Keyboard. This is unacceptable. I don't care for which other countries you have made keyboard or not (although you make sure to rub it in my face) but the essence of the iphone is that it is a tool to have with you all the time and if the is no ability to right in your native language it is rendered useless. The think that is more frustrating is that those who bought the iPhone from abroad (at 1/4 of the price) and jailbroke it have a Greek keyboard, made by Greek hackers/programmers.
Today comes, as i am told the 2.1 firmware update and i sincerely hope that it has the Greek keyboard in it otherwise my (and many other i spoke with that bought the iPhone due to its features and not due to the Apple brand) loyalty to the Apple brand (which is already in bad shape due to the Greek retailer Rainbow) is going to be in jeopardy.
    please fix this
    thank you

  • Is accelerometer support for keyboard position available for SMS or IM?

I have been a RIM Blackberry user for about 10 yrs. I finally jump the ship (and carrier)and got 3g iPhone. It is a great device.
However one thing I absolutely hates is the typing on iPhone. I am used to typing with both thumbs when I was using BB. I only see accelerometer rotated keypad in few applications on iPhone. Unfortunately none of SMS or IM type application uses horizonal axis keypad (which will be extremely helpful). I figure that is when you could maximize real estate of keypad.
    <Edited by Moderator>
See prototype of next BB 9500 screen keypad. Something like this will be easier to type ( http://crackberry.com/exclusive-first-live-pics-blackberry-thunder )

I came from a Blackberry too, and I regularly type with two thumbs on the iPhone. I had to first learn how to trust the auto-correction. I just type away and more often than not, it gets everything just as I expected. Knowing that, even if you only come "close" to the letter you want, it'll be right, helped my speed greatly.
After that, I just needed to practice. I started out as the video suggested... with an index finger getting used to the layout. Now, if I ever have the iPhone on it's side in Safari and the WIIDE keyboard comes up, I flip it back vertical because my muscle memory is so used to the narrow keyboard, trying to switch between the two is a hassle (especially because, in the wide view, my thumbs has to move SOOO FAAARR).
Sorry, didn't answer your question... no, there's no wide keyboard support for SMS or IM. One workaround might be to use the browser version of an IM client.

  • Portuguese Support for Touchpad's Keyboard

    Hi all,
I wonder if someone could help me.
I would like to know where I can find a patch/update or app that offers portuguese language for the keyboard.
If it doesn't exist... is HP planning to offer more language support for the Touchpad???
    Thanks,
    Jeff
Post relates to: HP TouchPad (WiFi)

If Thai is not a selection for the language when you first setup your TP, then it is not supported. Search the app catalog for any language apps. that may be avail. you can also look on webosnation.com for apps that are avaqil. from their site. they may have a program for Thai language support.
If there are no apps avail. you can leave your feedback for the Thai language support request at HP, http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/email_3.html?jumpid=ex_r11694_redirect_us_en_sept11_palm
For reference purposes, click on the following link for the support page for your device on the kb.hpwebos.com webpage.

  • PROBLEM WITH ALT-V WHEN USING CROATIAN KEYBOARD

    Hi,
When Typing ALT GR+V (@ sign) in Croatian Keyboard, all the text from clipboard is copied into the text box (as it is pressed CTRL+V) plus the @sign.
There were some bugs filed long back regarding a similar issue for the German keyboard where the customer was using the AltGr key for special characters, same as in our case.
Below is the list of those bugs:
    (1)     Bug 757614: GERMAN USERS CANNOT USE ALT-GR KEY TO GET SPECIAL CHARACTERS
    (2)     666925
    (3)     767865
    (4)     768658
I have gone through the descriptions and mail chains mentioned in these bugs, and it seems that the issue was fixed in OJDK.
Please go through the above mentioned bugs once to get more details.
It seems that this is not ORMS issue. It seems to be an Oracle Forms or OJDK issue.
Can someone please advise on this as why is this happening. We are using Oracle Forms 10g.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Ashwini Swaroop Pradhan

    Tom Gewecke wrote:

What do you mean by that? The problem being talked about here is an inability to make French accented characters on a German keyboard. What is your problem exactly?
I've posted here because I guess it may be the same bug.
After upgrading I wasn't able to do special characters, including some accented vocals, like "ì", very common in italian language.
Then I've added an english keyboard, removed the italian one and added it again, so the problem with missing accented vocals was solved.
I still have the same problem with special consonants, like "z" and "c": if I hold my thumb on such letters, I have no options like, say, "ż" (such characters are very important for my field (linguistics) and if Apple won't solve this problem I'll be forced to look elsewhere).

  • Save for Web keyboard key stroke not worky

I'd swear I've asked or seen this discussed in these forums...but I can find no thread, even when I search for my own screen name. At any rate, I think it also happened to me back in version 6. I'm now in version 8 on a Mac.
The symptoms are the same as the last time this happened. The "shortcut" key strokes (on the Mac) are command + shift + option + S (probably use 'alt' instead of 'option and "control' instead of 'command' on Windows?). This will usually show a brief darkening of the File menu, but nothing else happens. Until...the same keys are pressed again! Of course, mousing to the menu item works fine, but I have managed to avoid carpal tunnel syndrome and still press all four keys with one hand! Sometimes I get my cat to help...
Since Adobe is gracious enough to provide about three dozen various pref files, it should be a breeze to start archiving them and deleting the originals. NOT! However, in my searching for the likely pref file, I have discovered that the "Adobe Save For Web 8.0 Prefs" file seems to be AWOL on my System! I have over a dozen backups of that file in Time Machine, despite the fact that they all show exactly the same Modified date, which would normally be the only reason TM would save another copy of the file. This may also indicate why the settings for the Save For Web dialog never remember the last used settings; the file thinks it is getting written to but never changes its Modified date even thought that 'state' is obviously recognized by the OS. But that's all beside the point and I digress...
SO...does anyone remember the 'trick' for getting PSE 6/8 to remember the Save For Web keystrokes the first time they are used, instead of waiting for 'verification?'
    Thanks!

    Barbara B. wrote:
Uh oh. You should have had an uninstaller in the PSE 8 folder in applications. I'm afraid you may have set yourself up for bigger problems by doing it this way. You may well find that you will eventually need to download and run the CS4 cleanscript to get straightened back out again.
You may be correct, but I've had no other problems after all the different un-install methods. The only pieces that are hard to find are those that Adobe chooses to hide deep in System areas. I suppose since they were one of the first Mac developers, they think they have special capabilities to put stuff any and every where they want. As well as special dispensation to do things anti-Mac ways. I can't claim to be a power-user, but I have never, ever felt the need to purchase/use any special "uninstaller" app. And I can't think of another app I've ever owned that even needed an "uninstaller" for it. That includes Canvas, php, Apache setups, etc. Frankly, and this is simply my opinion and obviously of little importance to absolutely no one else, the way Adobe does things seems to be extremely un-organized, not-well-thought-out and downright non-Mac. The only thing even marginally close to their confusing instal/uninstall process is Stanford's Folding@home set up. It sometimes requires a few Terminal commands...
I will perform a search for that CS4 "clearscript" thing, however. Thanks!
Even the response I got from my Support post assured me that...
reset/restore the Preferences, click Yes or OK . Now try to use the "Save for Web" keyboard command by pressing "Alt+Shift+Crtl+S". I am positive that after following the above steps your issue will be resolved .
OK, I get the rest/restore step. but what does the "alt+shift+Crtl+S" have to do with anything? It certainly is not the keyboard short cut for the Mac version of Elements. Perhaps the chap didn't notice the details in my message or the hardware/software information that came with my request for help. I find it strange that somehow the language differences cause the tech's positive belief that his steps would fix the issue that he also presents:
If the issue is still not resolved then please send us the below mentioned information so that we can provide you with the best possible resolution:-
    1. Have you recently made any changes to your computer?
    2. Are you logged in as administrator ?
    3. Does the issue persist on another system or another user account ?
    4.     Do you get any error message while pressing the combination of "Alt+Shift+Crtl+S" keys on the keyboard? if yes then send us the screen shot of the error message that you are getting
    5.     Please provide the exact system Configuration with details along with the Versions.
Every single one of those questions was included with the initial message I sent.
I suspect that the problem is, indeed, in my System, somewhere. I installed Elements on my wife's MBP and it operated normally, even the command+option(alt)+shift+S command. So, when I get some time this week, I'll start up in Safe mode and see if that helps. If not, I'll start removing third-party Pref Panels and apps, a few at a time. If none of that helps, I may try retrieving files from Time Machine. As a last effort, I can always do an Archive and (re)Install of Snow Leopard. I'm just not sure it's worth all the effort to get one measly short cut... The only thing I know for sure is that I will not be seeking any more help from Adobe's "tech support." Why bother, they don't/can't even read the messages their own system sends!

  • Airport Utility 6.0.0 breaks support for my Airport Express

Computer updated to Airport Utility 6.0 but that breaks support for my Airport Express.  When I try to access the Airport Express it tells me I have to download Airport Utility 5.6 - but I can't find that anywhere on the Apple sites to download!

My catch-all list of Airport 6.0 & Firmware 7.6.1 problems:
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I've compiled a catch-all list of problems and changes with Airport Utility version 6.0 and FW 7.6.1. Some of the items may be relevant to this thread.
    THE PROBLEMS WITH AIRPORT UTILITY 6 AND FIRMWARE 7.6.1:
    Introduction: If you find AirPort Utility v6.0 too limiting or strange, you can ALSO install AirPort Utility v5.6, released alongside v6.0, to maintain all your previous capabilities. It works fine with both Airport g and n devices.
    PLEASE NOTE: According to Apple you must FIRST install Airport Utility v6.0 in order to access and install Firmware upgrade 7.6.1. Do that first. THEN install Airport Utility v5.6 and use it instead if you prefer. HOWEVER: Another user has informed me that they were able to use Airport Utility v5.6 to install Firmware v7.6.1 without any problems! This would mean anyone can avoid Airport Utility 6.0 entirely if they chose.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    1) According to Apple's documentation, Airport Utility version 6.0 is ONLY for Mac OS X 10.7 Lion. It is NOT for 10.6 Snow Leopard. If you accidentally installed v6, you'll have to dig around in Apple - Support - Downloads for the previous relevant version for your devices and OS version. Here is the relevant page:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1483
    2) The HELP for Airport Utility has been updated. When you first access it you may well be looking at the old Help. It is supposed to update itself spontaneously over the Internet. It took a couple minutes in my case. Be sure you are looking at the NEW Help before you start using it. One way to tell is that the list of help topics essentially doubles from what there used to be. Also, the very first topic in the NEW Help should read:
"Set up an AirPort device > Set up a new AirPort Base Station or Time Capsule"
    3) The HELP has some WRONG information. Here we go:
3a) There is NO "Enable Guest Network" setting. You CANNOT create a guest network or name it or give it any settings. Why this is still listed in Help, I have no idea. Why the setting is gone: This is most likely because the technology behind guest networks, WPS, has been thoroughly CRACKED in the wild. Google "WPS cracked" for lots of documentation of the situation. It won't be resolved soon.
3b) I can't find any 'Setup Assistant". Everything is now manual. This is not to say that there isn't a setup assistant that appears when you FIRST set up your Airport device. I don't know.
    4) After installing Airport Utility v6.0, there is no indication of the accompanying firmware update until you decide to run the new version. Even then, you have to click on the big icon of your Airport device and notice an 'Update' button about halfway down the popup window. You then have to assume that this button is telling you to update your firmware.
    5) After you update your Airport device's firmware, you may well discover an ERROR subwindow popping up inside Airport Utility that says:
"An error occurred while updating the firmware. -6721"
Don't panic! All you need to do is go into your Wi-Fi settings, either in your menubar or the Network preferences, and turn OFF Wi-Fi, then turn ON Wi-Fi again. This is part of a long standing bug in Lion's Wi-Fi with which I bet you are already familiar, certainly up through Lion version 10.7.2.
    6) Miscellaneous changes in Airport Utility 6:
6a) The keyboard command to manually change your Airport devices settings is GONE. You have to click the little 'Edit' button after clicking on the big icon for your device.
6b) There is no longer any summary window for your Airport device. You have to instead click on the big "Internet" icon for related data, then click on the big icon for your Airport device for local settings data.
6c) There is no longer any HELP advising users to EXPORT their settings. (The Help only talks about Import of settings). BE SURE TO EXPORT YOUR NEW SETTINGS! I did this immediately after both updates.
6d) MAC address filtering for Airport devices is GONE.
6e) All references to IPV6 anywhere are GONE. I have to assume the IPV6 settings are now entirely working and entirely automatic. Let's hope so.
6f) Signal and Noise data and graphs are GONE. Use Apple's Wi-Fi Diagnostics app instead. Apple have hidden it here in Lion:
    /System/Library/CoreServices/W-Fi Diagnostics
6g) In order to access the menu items in Airport Utility, you have to first click on the big icon for your Airport device.
--> No doubt there are other changes, oddities or bugs related to these changes. But this is what I came up with during a cursory strafing of the software.
