  • SSL Pinning support for mobile apps ?

    Hi there
i've just read this article and wondered if there is cross platform support for SSL pinning for mobile apps (iOS and Android) developed with AIR ?
So far my Google research wasn't successful, therefore i ask here.
Maybe this feature could be supported by a native extension ?
    Thank you for any hint.

  • Where are i get online support for mobile

    Hi ,

This is a support forum so you can get help here. Give a detailed description of your problem and if someone can help they will post you the answer.

  • Support for Mobile Device?

Do you foresee adding support for setting up mobile device projects (Android etc ...).
This would be great to help with any external - device specific - files required.

    GREAT!
Anything you can do to keep the developer writing MXML and AS3 is good.
Shield them from all the platform specific complexities.
    Looking forward to it.

  • Flash will no longer be supported for mobile devices. Is Flash Builder also going to stop building m

Flash, specifcally mobile Flash, was effectively sentenced to death a while back. The first inklings came when Abode put out their own non-Flash media tool “Edge,” and then was confirmed when the company dropped 750 employees and halted all development of mobile versions of Flash, ostensibly forever. It’s not until now, however, that we’re seeing Flash really start to crumble. Android, once open to the protocol, will no longer be supporting Adobe Flash with its newest version, Jelly Bean.
What is the faith of Flash Builder? PC apps only?

Yes Flash is no longer supported in the browser...   I am a Flash Developer and I think this is a good thing.  I personally believe that Browsers in general on mobile devices will die a slow death.
Have you tried using them ... no matter what device you choose and how good the browser is, the experience is horrendous.  Flash running in the browser on a smartphone is painful.
Browsers will be replaced by apps.
Let me give you an example.
I was upgrading the OS on my daughters iPod Touch Devices and noticed that their Safari Browser was in a folder called "Junk" along with the compassVoice MemosNews Stand, Stocks, etc.
I asked them "Why is your browser in a folder labeled Junk and how do you find anything online? "
    Their response
"If I need to look anything up I search in the App Store"
Example: Daughter needs a Dictionary to do her homework...  she wont go to www.dictionary.com   she opens up her app store and downloads a dictionary app.
I see the app stores as the new Google.
The beauty of this is that us developers can sadnbox our experience and deliver it in whatever technology we choose to.  We no longer care if Browser A supports Flash or which browser supports which HTML tag.
I have a 3 yr old son .. and I am convinced he will one day say to me.   " Dad... I cant believe you used to have to type  WWW  dot  bla bla bla    SLASH  bla bla bla SLASH bla bla bla   "

  • K8MM-V Support for Mobile Semprons

Has anyone tried the mobile semprons on this board? Will it work ?

    Maybe it'll work.
But it'll be a very difficult task - there's no heatspreader on a Mobile Sempron, if I'm not mistaken. The heatsink must be modified to fit onto the processor. And y'see, the die on the processor is very sensitive, you might not want to crack it.

  • Mobile support for Sourcing/CLM 10

    Dear Colleagues,
I have a question about mobile support for SAP Sourcing/CLM version 10. Is there any dedicated mobile application which will have workflow approving for example?
The only information which I found at SCN about mobile devices within SAP Sourcing/CLM 10 is:
"(...) This enhancement was made in preparation for potential mobile applications that will be integrated with SAP Sourcing / SAP CLM."
If you have any further information, please share.
    Thanks in advance,
    Przemyslaw

    Hello,
The short answer for the first question is no.  However, there is more to say on the subject...
Support for mobile approvals are in the Sourcing/CLM product
backlog.  We also have this feature candidate in our internal and customer
surveys on feature candidates for our next release (11.0).  The surveys
were just completed.   We will soon begin the process of identifying
features to include in our plans for Release 11.0.  At this time, nothing
has been decided regarding what new features will be in Release 11.0.

  • E-commerce for Mobile Interface

    Hi
This is my first attempt at have an existing shopping cart at BC to offer its customers the ability to view and order through their mobile phone. I have been doing regular, non-commerce pages for quite some time now. But when I apply the support for MOBILE and redirect everything to the /mobile folder, I can't find the means to over-ride the click-through to the standard pages of the shop.
Here is the site's store home page with the catalog list on it
    http://www.copenhagenpastry.com/our-pastries
Here a page in the mobile folder with the same file name, but nothing happens
    http://www.copenhagenpastry.com/mobile/our-pastries
I thought that was all I had to do along with setting a new set of styles for the mobile device. How does one override the Modulestylesheet.css?
Please advise and many thanks in advance!
    Teejay

In my opinion the mobile/tablet redirect option isn't the best option for you if you use a lot of built-in modules that have their own URLs like the shop.  You have to have every page that is on your regular site have a version in the /mobile/ folder and that's not possible with the eCommerce module.  There's no way to setup an alternate layout for your shop.  You can create unlimited module templates for {module_catalog} and {module_shop} (http://helpx.adobe.com/business-catalyst/partner/using-custom-templates-modules.html) in which case you'd have to build separate pages for your shop manually and not rely on the default shop view which is controlled by your overall shop layout.
And, even then, you cannot have multiple product detail layouts-- you can only use one.
I think your best bet is to make your site responsive so that you can use the same layouts but they flex based on media queries in CSS if you are going to be using a lot of BC's modules.  The mobile/tablet redirection script works great for sites that are just static HTML with maybe some incontext editing, etc. but not advised for eCommerce functionality.

  • Satellite A - Catalyst 10.1 for mobile GPUs

When going to available Catalyst 10.1 for ATi Mobility Cards?

In latest Catalyst release ATI included support for mobility cards, but Toshiba decided no to enable support for this in their notebooks (or asked ATI not to include support for them) :(
Please Toshiba reconsider, give us a choice to use either official and tested Toshiba drivers (which can be few revisions behind, specially for older notebooks) or official Catalyst drivers from ATI (which come out every month and can bring new features and/or speedups).

  • When will Adobe Reader for Mobile Devices support 3D PDF files?

When will Adobe Reader for Mobile Devices support 3D PDF files?

There are two basic varieties of LiveCycle XFA...Static XFA and Dynamic XFA, which are very different in terms of their future for potential support in Adobe Reader for iOS. Which variety of XFA are you using?
Static XFA uses the PDF markup language for content and form fields, so users can view the documents in Adobe Reader for iOS, but we currently do not properly handle filling, saving, and submitting those forms. I have improving our handling of Static XFA on my roadmap, but cannot offer any specific date yet (sorry, policy plus actual uncertainty). I know that there are some other apps that partially support Static XFA, though I do not know how complete their support is. If you can even open the XFA document in Adobe Reader for iOS, it is likely Static XFA.
Dynamic XFA is effectively a JavaScript application packaged inside a PDF wrapper, which generates layout and form fields via code and requires a significant engine to support this. Support for Dynamic XFA is unfortunately not currently on our roadmap for iOS due to the nature of the technology, and our concern that any implementation we try likely will not pass Apple's restriction against installing something that allows other "apps" to be downloaded and executed from within it. The LiveCycle team is exploring solutions for our enterprise customers wanting to use Dynamic XFA from mobile devices as part of their server offering, but I cannot offer any insight here. To my knowledge, there are no applications that handle Dynamic XFA other than Adobe Reader for the desktop platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux).

  • Does Dreamweaver CS5.5 support in-app purchases for mobile apps?

I am starting to take a look at developing a mobile app for my business and Dreamweaver CS5.5 looks like the platform I am going to use.  My question is this: do apps built this way have support for in-app purchases?
    Thanks.

If you are asking can you develop it I don't see why not.  Just refer to the documentation from the appropriate Marketplace for details on setting up in-app purchasing restrictions and requirements.  If you are asking if there is a built-in function to make an easy "in-app purchase button" I would lean towards the No on this answer because I don't believe that is in DW.
