Support for Panasonic NV-GS320?

I have a Panasonic NV-GS320 that works well with iMovie, but before I buy FCE and a larger and faster computer I want to know if my camera (a Panasonic NV-GS320) is supported by FCE. I live in Europe and this is a PAL model.
Thanks in advance

Thank you!
I'm sorry I cannot mark your answer as solving my problem. I get an error asking me to contact the administrator. Thought I cannot find a way to do that.

When is the RAW Support for Panasonic Lumix DMC-G5 available?

We don't know - only Apple will know that. This is a User-to-User forum.

  • Support for Panasonic GH4 RAW (RW2) Files?

Any word on support for Panasonic GH4 RAW (RW2) files? They load into Aperture (and Photoshop, too) with the dreaded "unsupported image type" alert.

The GH4 comes with a software disc that includes SILKYPIX Developer Studio 4.1 SE for Mac & PC. Installing the software seems to also install the Panasonic Raw 2 Image Plugin. Once the software was installed, I was able to open the RW2 files shot with the GH4 in iPhoto, Lightroom 5 and Preview. After SILKYPIX Developer Studio 4.1 SE is installed, the RW2 preview images also appear in Finder.
I was not able to find the software on the Panasonic web site, so if you are installing on a new Mac without a CD/DVD drive, you'll need to use Remote Disc.

  • RAW SUPPORT FOR PANASONIC FZ38

    RAW SUPPORT FOR PANASONIC FZ38
I have installed the Camera Raw plug-in 5.6 as decribed on the Adobe web site (Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-ins/CS3) manually (version 5.6 09/12/09). Although this RAW is listed on the web site as being with Camera Ra 5.6, the RAW of this Panasonic (RW2) it does not appear within the "Bridge" program listing of associations. The flies CAN NOT be opened in either Bridge OR PhotoElements 6.0
Perhaps it has been left out by error. Help please. Thank you.
To the contary, the RAWS of the Canon 7D work perfectly.

You may need to check you used the correct download for Elements rather than creative suite. To check for the plug-in open Elements - Full Edit and go to Help > About Plug-IN > Camera raw and you should see the version of ACR installed. Your Panasonic needs version 5.6.0.148 If you don’t see it, or you have an earlier version than 5.6, use one of the following links to download ACR.

  • Support for Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ8

Is Apple planning to support RAW for the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ8 in Aperture? Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom provide support for this camera.
    Any ideas?

  • Support for Panasonic GF1 RAW files

Does anyone have any suggestion on how to get Aperture to work with the GF1 Raw files - is it possible to convert them to dng format then import them?
Or does Apple update Aperture regularly with support for new(ish) cameras.
    Thanks for your help.

I have been using the Bibble 5 pro trial. It is worth looking at for Panasonic G1, GH1 users. Great feature set (lens distortion correction- though not necessary for the GH1, vignette correction, layering, chromatic aberration correction, etc...) and works with referenced files. Navigation within Aperture still slicker in my opinion and not sure if Bibble does the cloning thing....
However, Bibble is light years faster than Aperture with adjustments. Browsing on Bibble is SLOWER than Aperture. (no scroll wheel flipping through preview images as far as I can tell...)

  • Support for Panasonic AG-HMC150

Please add support for the Panasonic AG-HMC150 to Onlocation in FULL HD.  This camera does not have a firewire port on it as is the case with several of the current generation HD cameras.  USB 2.0, HDMI, or component are available.

I fully 2nd that request, while the HMC150 has a built in Scopes, it would be nice to take advantage of all the workflow capabilities that have been added in Onlocation.  I don't think USB2 is going to help because the camera's don't export out that port (other than copying files) and if you use HDMI it can only capture the image and doesn't allow control of the camera from the software...the real answer is that these camera manufactures should still include firewire, but since that is not the case, I would settle for Onlocation at least accepting HDMI as a source of input and letting the software record directly to disk without turning on the record on the camera...you could at least realize most of the benefits of the software at that point.

  • Raw Support for Panasonic LX-5

In trying to keep aware of when raw support might be added for my 2 month old LX-5 I came across an update that someone had referenced from January of this year that added raw support for the LX-5 and some other cameras, when I tried to download it my computer said the latest update on my computer was newer than that. Does that mean I should already have it? If not does anyone know when it will be added? When I first took pictures with my camera I had images saved in raw and j-peg and i photo only recognized the j peg formatted pictures. The j pegs are beautiful but I would like to experiment with raw.

I reply now only to validate my ignorance..
I think what happened is the update that added the lx-5 raw support came out a couple weeks after I got the camera, so I tried it initially and was not able to import raw files and gave up and went to j peg. I tried again this morning after posting, and have been happily dealing with raw files all morning.
Love the camera and am glad i photo will allow me to realize all that it can do!

  • Support for Panasonic LX3 RAW files in Lightroom  (Windows Vista)

I have just bought a Panasonic DMC LX3 and have upgraded to CS4 on my desktop machine and downloaded ACR 5.2 to support the Panasonic RAW files. I run Lightroom 2.1 on my laptop and Lightroom is unable to support these RAW files as yet. Will Lightroom be supporting the LX3, if so when and how will this support be provided? Will it be a RAW update (4.6 to 5.2, or whatever) or will I need a new version/release of Lightroom?
    Thank you, John Cross

  • IMovie'11 support for Panasonic HDC-TM700

    Hi,
I am considering the purchase of the Panasonic HDC-TM700 camcorder. The iMovie compatibility list has an entry for this camcorder with the note that 1080p/60fps is not supported. I would ASSUME that this camcorder can be set for 1080p/30fps as well but I have not been able to find an on-line manual or other specification that lists anything but 1080p/60. Can anyone confirm that this camera could also be set to 1080p/30fps?
    Thanks.

The TM700 is a great camcorder. Despite being an avid iMovie HD (iM 6) supporter, I have started using iMovie 11 and it has won me over a bit. Still prefer iM6, but 11 is on the right road.
I use the SD600 (little brother to the TM700) and if you are prepared for a bit of extra work, it works fine with iMovie.
This range of camcorders record in standard AVCHD (1080i) and this can be imported into iMovie with no bother at all. This is the same top quality footage the most good HD camcorders shoot at the moment. You can save yourself a few headaches and simply record in standard AVCHD at top quality and I'm sure you will be more than satisfied with the result.
The only problem comes, that these Panasonics also 'raise the bar' and record in an even higher new format called 1080p50 or 60. This is AVCHD in almost every respect, but is Progressive, takes a fair bit of processing power and as a new format, isn't universally recognised. iMovie doesn't recognise these video clips as AVCHD movie files and so won't work with it, hence that proviso in the supported cameras list. As I say, you don't have to record in 1080p (progressive rather than interlaced) it is just an additional option available to you.
I do however record in this top quality and there are a couple of extra steps required. The movies can't be viewed with quicktime or iMovie, but players like VLC or Movist play them no problem. Secondly, these video files have to be converted to a format that is recognised by iMovie if you want to edit them. I use the free Automater script Rewrap2M4V but there are others such as ClipWrap and Voltaic that will also do the job for you. Once converted they can be imported into iMovie like any other movie file and the quality is excellent, and hopefully as the format becomes accepted, then the files may be able to be imported without conversion.

  • RAW support for Panasonic DMC-FZ1000.

My research indicated 5.2 supports the DMC-FZ100 for RAW.  I just purchased and installed upgrade to Lightroom 5.2 from 4.4 but it does not support the camera in RAW.  Non-support message is received when trying to import RAW files from the camera.
    Help?

So, is it the FZ100  or FZ1000? The latter requires Lightroom 5.6 or newer. If you click on Help->Updates in Lightroom you will be guided to update to Lightroom 5.7.1. But when you start that version it will advise you that there is yet another upgrade. That would be to Lightroom CC/6. If you don't want to go that route right now just click on the ignore button in the lower left-hand corner of that notification.

  • Support for Panasonic Lumix DMC G3K

I have recently bought the Panasonic Lumix DMC G3K and discovered that neither LR or CS5 will support the raw files. The irony is that LR is part of the package when you buy this camera before the end of Aug. When will Adobe support this camera?

  • How do I get RAW Support for Panasonic Lumix L10 camera?

Aperture 2.1 still does not support Panasonic Lumix L10 RAW nor jpegs (Adobe 4.3 RAW plug-in already does). Is there a workaround? Any help?

    Baseline DNG support
Shooting RAW on a camera or camera back not natively supported by Mac OS X? Aperture lets you work with DNGs created from the RAW files generated by most cameras, increasing its breadth of support.

  • LightRoom Support For Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000 camera/lens

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000 has been listed as a supported camera since at least LightRoom 5.6 and the equivalent Adobe Camera Raw version.
I have both LR 5.7 and LR CC2015.  In the Develop Module, Lens Correction area, there is no Panasonic camera/lens listed in the drop-down list of Profiled cameras in order to enable profile corrections.
LR does display the Panasonic RAW files without having to convert to another format, but can't apply lens-specific corrections due to its non-listing in that area.
Why is it not listed and can I get it listed somehow?

I have both LR 5.7 and LR CC2015.  In the Develop Module, Lens Correction area, there is no Panasonic camera/lens listed in the drop-down list of Profiled cameras in order to enable profile corrections.
That's probably correct. The lenses from many cameras are not profiled by Adobe. It may be (I'm not sure about your camera) that the lens corrections are already applied by the camera, and so no additional corrections are needed in Lightroom.

  • RAW-support for Panasonic LC1?

    Hi,
does anybody know, if iPhoto 6 supports RAW-files from a Panasonic LC1? Despite been mentioned as supported in this file: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=300884 it is not supported in iPhoto 5, only in Preview and aperture. Any changes in iPhoto 6?
