Support frames cracks

Hello. I have my Z1 for two months almost, and i noticed that the back cover support frame and the lcd support frame have cracks like missing some small part. I have 3 of them, two on the back and one on the front.I really dont understand why. I keep the phone in leather case and i put it down gently. Phone never dropped. I think i am the only one having this problem? My xperia u had dropped several times and its lcd frame had hardy a scartch

In order not to get someone confused i mean the thin black or white line round the screen and the back cover. Not the metal frame

  • Does Firefox 23.0.1 support frames? p This page uses frames, but your browser doesn't support them. /p

    Our webpage used to display perfectly in Firefox now it doesn't. When I view page source the following appears among the HTML: <pre><nowiki><p>This page uses frames, but your browser doesn't support them.</p> </nowiki></pre>
    Our webpage displays perfectly in IE 8.0
    ''Moderator added tags to show the HTML formatting tags and text.''

    You only get the "This page uses frames, but your browser doesn't support them." text if either frames are disabled or you use a browser that doesn't support frames (the text is in a &lt;noframes&gt; &lt;/noframes&gt; block). Firefox would display this text under normal conditions.
    Note that the Menu object is IE only and doesn't work in Firefox.<br />
    See the Browser Console (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer;Ctrl+Shift+J) for errors.<br />
    The page source also shows red code for the map tag (start tag "map" seen in "table").<br />
    A lot of images seem to be missing or aren't loaded because of script errors.

  • Plastic TouchPad device frame cracks near speaker!!

    OK, I've had my precious TouchPad 32 since July 1, and today/tonight, while turning my touchpad in my lap from portrait to landscape, I realized that BOTH of the inside edges of the upper frame of the plastic above the routed-out speaker holes had snapped...and what's intriguing is that the line the crack followed is IDENTICAL in both cracks.
    Given my background in product development, it would seem that the TouchPad outer housing was molded and each part was trimmed with the routing that leaves the sharp edges... and that it is a plastic mold "knit line" (where the semi-liquid plastic conforms around two areas to meet) that the snap occurred...
    I smell a big problem down the road for HP.
    And, btw, HP, I'll need a new TouchPad, cause I sure ain't keepin' this one. Call me.

    For these types of cracks, you need to call support or chat.  If they're minor/cosmetic you are probably best just to not be concerned with them.  However if they are impacting the use of the device, they should be replaced.  The agent you talk to should be able to determine this.
    Understand, though, the TouchPad is no longer being manufactured.  So a replacement will be a refurbished device.  And may have the same minor cracks (if yours are minor) as the one you have now.

    Hi experts,
    we are using Crysatl report 9 and build the reports using VS2003 with the frame work 1.1.4322.

    Hi,
    As you must have guessed, Crystal reports 9 is not compatible / tested / supported with .NET 2.0.
    Take a look at below wiki.

  • Frame support of E1000-2 card for 15454

    Does E1000-2 on 15454 support Jumbo frame and Q-in-Q frame? How to configure them? Anyone has the experience?

    They don't support Jumbo frames
    Straight from the manual:
    The ONS 15454 E-Series cards can support 1522-byte frames on Tagged ports. On Untagged ports the E-Series can support frames up to 1518 bytes. Frames greater than 1522 bytes will be dropped for both the Tagged and Untagged ports.
    They aren't clear on the Q in Q, but I would imagine that if you aren't using the cards to do the stacking, you could just pass the VLAN stack through the E card with that VLAN ID.

  • Are the Frame or JFrame objects not supported when used by applets??????

    Hi,
    Is there anyone to help me ?
    I've an applet which uses Frame objects. With the "appletViewer" executable the results are
    perfect.
    But Netsacape Communicator seems not to support Frames..?!? Is this possible?????
    Thanks
    deniz

    Oh..Thanks for the replies.
    But the reason was that I was still using Netscape Communicator 4.5.
    With Netscape Communicator 6.1 installed yesterday; everything is
    normal. i.e. I can observe the frames that applet creates... :-))

  • Frames support

    Does this browser support FRAMES? As in I am able to open up a FRAME in other TAB?
    Thanks

    We don't have those options in the context menu. Only real option would be to discover the url for the source on desktop and then send a link via Firefox sync or email to your mobile.

  • How to change the content of a frame

    Hi,
    I want to create a link that refreshes the content of a frame in my page.
    I guess that Oracle Portal does not support frames.
    That's why I wonder if I'm obliged to developp a new page each time I just want
    the content of a frame to be updated ?
    Thanks for your help,

    Cleartoby,
    Well, another thought that comes to mind is to define and implement a listener.
    e.g.
    public interface MyListener
        public void setText(String text);
    public class MyFrame extends JFrame implements MyListener
        private JTextArea textArea;
        public void setText(String text)
            this.textArea.setText(text);
    public class MyOtherFrame extends JFrame
        public void addMyListener(MyListener l)
            // somehow keep track of listeners
        // so some stuff and when needed call "setText()" on the listener(s)

  • Which media server protocols enable frame accurate seeking and frame stepping in players?

    Hi,
    ... and thank you in advance for taking the time to respond. I am evaluating different protocls for different client platforms, and I'd like to know the following...
    Which media server protocols enable frame accurate seeking and frame stepping in players? (It appears that RTMP does. However, what about HDS? What about HLS?)
    Why is it that some do and some don't? (Intuitively, this would seem to be more an issue of the player than the protocol, but then maybe it has something to do with the buffers and the specific information passed to the client.)
    For those protocols that do support frame accurate seeking and frame stepping in players, does the addition of Access DRM protection have any effect? (Intuitively, I would say no, but then maybe there are configuration changes needed in AMS to make it work.)
    Thanks!

    I searched for a DVD player with a jog shuttle -- and you're right. They're all but impossible to find! I havent' found one made in the past 5 years!
    I don't know of any way you could accomplish the same thing with software either.
    Most DVD players have slow-motion and frame-by-frame features. (Even my cheap $40 Toshiba.) That may be the closest to it.

  • Why Are Frames So Bad?

    This is one of those 'big picture' questions. Sorry for the length. The actual question is at the end.
    I don't claim to be much of a 'designer'. I'm a musician.
    I have a web site I am trying to update to make 'accessible'. And it uses frames.
    http://www.jchmusic.com
    I have read the various arguments for not using frames and most of the technical arguments seem a bit spurious (accessibility and search engines both seem to work fine in my tests.) The only one that really makes sense -today- is the inability to bookmark within the site. I have not figured a way around -that-.
    But -every- web design article I have read totally disdains the use of frames. It seems far beyond the technical arguments. So I'm hoping to get some input as to -why- this is the case.
    I use frames for two main reasons:
    1. Manageability. I used to program and the idea of including the same menu code on each page seems ridiculous. Frames seem a lot easier to manage and far less error-prone.
    2. I like having the menu stay in one place as the user scrolls. Like a 'real' application. I -hate- how the menu or page title just scrolls off to nowhere on most sites. It just looks ----so---- ugly to me.
    Anyhoo, sorry for banging on. Other than the bookmark thing, I wonder why almost no designers use frames. I just don't get it. If I ditch frames, it will be a lot of work so I'm hoping someone who knows what they're doing (unlike me) will help talk me out of my delusions.
    TIA,
    ---JC

    1) hard to print pages.
    2) hard to bookmark pages.
    3) hard to navigate framed sites with keyboard (accessibility WAI)
    4) frames complicate your site.
    5) mobile devices don't support frames.
    7) web assistive technologies don't like frames.
    6) W3C dropped frame support from  HTML 5.0

  • CAN Frame Signal Conversion With XNet

    When dealing with CAN, most new developer struggle with the Frame and Channel (or Signal) conversion.  Developers are trying to get away with using the cheapest CAN hardware, and as a result are opting to not use XNet hardware but instead use things like the USB 8473, or using non-NI hardware like the ValueCAN by Intrepid, or using Vector hardware, or CAN to serial adapaters.  The problem with all of these is you generally just read and write frames which is the raw form of CAN.  When using these cheap devices you can't ask the CAN bus what the signal Bus_Voltage is, instead you need to perform a frame read, find the frame associated with the signal, then pull out the bits for that signal, then scale the signal based on the signal selected.
    All of this is doable but a pain and can be very custom.  That's one reason NI came out with the Frame Channel Conversion Library.  This library converts from Frames to Channels using an industry standard CAN database file.  The problem with this library is it hasn't been updated in 5 years, and has known issues which likely will never be fixed.
    NI has since come out with XNet which supports reading and writing signals on XNet hardware.  The XNet drivers also support converting Frames to Signals without needing hardware at all.  This conversion has several limitations, and really only works for getting the latest value for a signal, not all values.  And in addition to that if the signal was never seen, the value will be the defaul value for that signal, not NaN.
    So I wrote a wrapper around the XNet conversion library to handle going from signals to frames, or from frames to signals.  Anyone looking to use a DBC file, on hardware that only supports frame API should use this conversion library, or at least use the XNet conversion sessions.

    If 10 out of 10 experts in any field say something is bad, you should probably take their opinion seriously.

    Hello Hooovahh,
    Nice work  . It’s very useful.
    I’m also converting CAN Raw data to Physical values in my project. Yes, your correct XNET APIs have some limitations. as you mentioned, there is one more limitation I found,
    If your Message Data length (Payload) is 4 Bytes (example) and other CAN Frames are having more than 4 Bytes then its throwing Error (Error Code -1074384737).
    While converting CAN Frames to signals, we will get different Payloads but, our selected signal message have 4 bytes then XNET will gives an error (at the time of Data Conversion).
    As per attached Snap, My Signal is related to IDxBB and I’m sending two different Frames then XNET will not convert.

    When we will send Frame by Frame then we will get all values (not only recent values). XNET will take previous value (if data is not present for Next iteration)

  • What sort of Dreamweaver site to build: CSS, Frames, Table Based or just go Flash

    Hello
    I am building a site for a jewelry designer to showcase a gallery, ordering info, work in progress, etc. I am normally a flash designer but due to all the recent iphones and ipads I'm not sure that flash content is the way to go.
    I'd like to know what people's thoughts are on building a flash based site vs dreamweaver and if dreamweaver is the way to go, how would you go about building the site as far as using tables, CSS or framesets. Since there is a continuous menu and title bar that he'd like to keep up throughout the site, are people even building frame-based sites anymore or can you achieve that with CSS.
    I'm pretty out of the loop with html based web design since I'm an animator by day with flash web design skills under my belt.
    Thanks for any insight

    I'd like to know what people's thoughts are on building a flash based site
    Really poor for web accessibility, language translators, screen readers, search engines, iPhones and other web devices that don't support Flash. For best web accessibility, use HTML for content, CSS for style and jQuery for slideshows or lighboxes that showcase the client's products.
    are people even building frame-based sites anymore or can you achieve that with CSS?
    Frames are almost never used anymore.  Owing to the many problems they create for site visitors and web designers, HTML5 will not support Frames or Framesets in the future.   CSS code is used to style and position content only.
    If you want common site headers, footers and menus, look at Dreamweaver Templates and Server-Side Includes.

  • Cracked border around screen.

    Hello,
    Due to my carelessness (e.g., constantly carrying around my macbook pro with the screen open), a crack has developed in the lower left hand corner of the border surrounding the screen (not the actual screen itself). Now, every time I open or close the screen, the crack strains and it looks like it is going to snap.
    Is this border around the screen just a piece of plastic that has no connection to the screen itself? Either way I am trying to figure out a way to support the crack (other than duct tape?) so it doesn't get strained any further. Hopefully, I have described this problem adequately, any help would be appreciated!

    Hello, besides the two screws in the lower corners, that border is just clipped in for cosmetic reasons.
