Hi, this might aid UX: I've had a problem whereone specific album (Beverley Knight - 100%) reports "Download failed". Maybe the ovi player could add a right click menu item to report this as an error - or at least make it easy to report this via the Nokia Support screens.
Maybe some guidance in the "Help" would be good too.....
BTW - can you fix the download, or add a link to where to report this?
Other than that - CWM is pretty good!

After spending the better part of the morning on the phone with my ISP Comcast, in Memphis, TN they swear it is not their issue. They had me run several tests to the modem, internet speed and browswer and according to them, it was all fine.
Because the the music store is the only feautue I cannot open
(no problems accessing other websites), they feel it is an Apple issue, with iTunes in particular. I am inclined to agree since I was able to access the music store briefly this morning.
I would encourage everyone to contact Apple by email. If enough people do so, they will have to fix the issue if it is an Apple problem (imagine how much business they lost this weekend from people being across the country being unable to buy music), If it is not an Apple issue, they can certainly exert some pressure on the ISP's regarding the connections.
In general I have not liked the new version of iTunes and noticed slower connections when I downloaded it even when I could get to the music store.

Depending upon what country that you are in you might be able to try 'redownloading' it via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes. If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that album and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

could you please tell me the procedure of asigning Reports, specific tables and Url links in the role.actually i know the process of assigning T-Codes to the role but i dont know the procedure for reports and url links and tables...

Hi Srinivas,
"i want to add only one particular table not all tables", you can do this using a Custom Transaction Code, the following are the steps to do it:
1) goto se93, give a unique name, say zxxx
2)Enter SE16 into the transaction field and select the flag the skip initial screen field:
3)On the lower portion of the screen, enter the following information:
Name of screen field: DATABROWSE-TABLENAME
Value: Enter the name of the table you want to browse with
4)save it.
5) Now add the transaction zxxx in th role, and assign it to the user.
With this, when user executes the transaction, he/she will be able to see only the perticular table you added.
"in PFCG what is the use of Exper mode for profile generation. what is the difference between general profile generation and expert mode profile generation".
Expert mode has 3 options:
1) Delete and recreate profile and authorizations---This will completely delete the old profile and add only the new once.
2) Edit old status----It will edit the old values
3) Read old status and merge with new data----This will add the new values aithout actually disturbing the old ones.

You can't download music via Safari on the iPad - you will need to download it on your computer, add it to your computer's iTunes, and then sync it to the iPad.

IOS home screen link to a specific photo album?

Is it possible (third party app?) to create a home screen link/icon to a specific photo album.
A friend who is an artist (although not technically proficient) has a number of albums in her library. If she wanted to have one album (of specific works) that she wanted for quick access (instead of clicking photos and then searching through all the other albums), could there be a link on the home screen to quickly access the specific album.

I am not aware of any third party apps that woulld add a home screen icon for a photo album. What I do know is that it is a feature of WP7 (Windows Phone 7) and I wish they would add it. What I DO know is that Safari allows you to add a "bookmark" on your home screen, so if you can find a service that would take you to that album in Safari, you got a solution.

Contact Itunes Support link doesn't take you anywhere

Apple must have some server issues, since we can't get any real support for the inability to download TV episode in SD versions issue, thye must have shut off the link to take you to their "contact iTunes Support" link

Did you buy the song from your Mac or from your iPod?
On your Mac try, if the songs that did not download properly, are available for download from the main menu bar:
Store > Check for Available downloads.
If they are, download again. If this does not succeed, remove the songs from your iTunes Library (don't delete them) and look again at the "Store > Check for Available downloads" or the "Purchased" section of your account.
If you have no option to download these songs again, contact Apple. You should have received an email receipt for your purchase by now. This receipt usually contains a link to report a problem with the purchased items. Use this to report the problem.

How to create a dynamic link in a Form to link to a specific FOLDER

I have created a reports of all employees of my department.
This reports shows me the empno and ename
When I clicked on a empno ( for example empno = 1 ) then then I got a MASTER DETAIL FORM about that employee(empno = 1) .
Who he or she is and which course he or she had followed.
I want create a dynamic link in the MASTER DETAIL FORM which shows me directly the folder of that employee ( in this example folder 1 ).
If I clickt on the report with all employees of my department on an other number ( for example empno = 3333333) then if I click on the dynamic link in the MASTER DETAIL FORM I want to see the folder of employee 3333333 !!! You know what I mean ?
What I want to know is, how to create a dynamic link that shows me directly a folder which is dependent on which empno I had clicked on in the report ( report with employee numbers and ename )
Is there any way to pass some parameters into a link to a Folder ? Is this possible in Portal ? Does anyone know how to do this, or do you have a suggestion how to solve this problem ?

I will explain it to you again.
I have created a report that shows me all employees. If I click on a employee number then I get an MASTER DETAIL FORM on my screen with all the information(where he works now and which number I have to dial ifhow can I reach him by telephone) of that employee on which number I clicked on.
I really like this mechanism. (You click on a number and the information that you see in the next screen is dependent of the number you clicked on ! )I have created all this. It works fine.
What I want is to expand this example.
Every employee has a FOLDER (yes, those ones in Content Area ) which they can insert text or image into that folder. The folder name is just the employee number. ( employee with employee number 3303, he owns a folder which is named 3303 and an employee with empno 9999, he or she owns a folder with the name 9999. )
Every employee can tell more about himself in that FOLDER by iserting text and images. For example : What he likes, pictures of his vacation, something like this.
What I want is this :
If I click on the first report,which provides me all employees on screen, on a employee number 3303 then I get a Master Detail Form on my screen with all information about that employee with employee number 3303. And I want in this MASTER DETAIL FORM to create a link that shows me directly the FOLDER of that employee ( 3303), so I can learn more about employee with employee number 3303. But I don't know how to create this link.
That link had to be dependent on the employee number. The difficult thing about this link is that this link had to be dynamic.

BUT IF I CLICKED ON THE FIRST REPORT ON A DIFFERENT NUMBER ( FOR EXAMPLE 3301) THEN IF I CLICK ON LINK IN THE MASTER DETAIL FORM THEN I HAVE TO LINKED TO FOLDER 3301.
I just want to know how to make a link like this ( create a dynamic link to a specific folder ).

Linking to a specific location in a web page is not working

Hello,
I am using anchor tags for linking to a specific location in a web page . This Page contains some images(.bmp).
Eg:
<h2><a name="exactline">Linking Directly to a Specific Location</a></h2>
<a href="http://www.example.com/some-page-or-other.aspx#exactline">Click here</a>
Whenever I click on the link it moves to specific location but when the page get loaded completely , top of the page is being displayed.
My question is how can I make this link redirects directly to the particular section and stays there even after the page loads fully.

Hi ,
When you click your link "Click here", the SharePoint web page with anchor will not work until refresh the page, if it's the case, you can add the javascript code to refresh the page automatically as workaround per the following similar post.

How do you make a link to a particular album in Itunes?

I would like to put a hyperlink on a webpage so that it goes directly to an album within itunes? Does anyone know how to do this? Thank you.

Select the album in the iTunes Music Store.
Drag the title to the desktop or another application and you will have your link.
If for example the album is called 'A Bigger Bang' (from The Rolling Stones), click and drag 'A Bigger Bang'.
The link will directly lead you to the album in the iTMS.
Below is the link which should lead you to the forementioned album in the USA iTMS.

The links are country specific.

Will we be able to link to a SPECIFIC TRACK in iTunes U?

In planning ahead, this question has come up:
Will we, when everything is up and running, be able to link to a SPECIFIC TRACK within a course on our Otis iTunes U site?
Or will one only be able to link to the WELCOME page then navigate to the desired track?

I would assume that you could link to a store URL for a track if it was in your public instance (such as http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=136709067&s=143 441&i=5147220 which is also available at their website at http://www.chm.colostate.edu/podcasts.html) and that if it was in your private area behind a password & login it would make you do that first, but then continue to that link.
I notice that at http://www.apple.com/education/solutions/itunes_u/
it says that iTunes U has:
"Integrated podcasting support. Automatically generate a podcast feed from within any course.
# Protects your online learning investments. iTunes U complements learning management systems, including Blackboard, WebCT, and Sakai. Students can access iTunes U content from within these systems with one click."
I'm wondering if there will be specific APIs to work with a CMS?
