Support page for OSX Mavericks wrong!!

The support page instructions for printer set-up with the new OSX Mavericks update is wrong. The directions for adding my printer aren't even options I have in my system preferences.
I have been a loyal MAC and HP customer for over 7 years and this is the first problem I have ever experienced, so I called tech support to try to get the correct instructions for connecting my printer to my network.
I was told I have to pay $30 to receive the correct instructions because my printer went out of warranty.
Mind you, this printer and computer have been working together just fine without problem for over a year! There is a problem with the HP drivers or something with the new Mavericks update that needs to be corrected, and the directions on HP's website are wrong!!
Absolutely horrible customer service- charging me $30 to fix a problem that you created!! Send me the update I need for my drivers through my software updates, charging me $30 to fix a problem you created is utterly rediculous!
You have just lost someone who has been a lifetime loyal customer to HP - I will NEVER buy another HP product again in my lifetime!!

Used white MacBook OS X 10.6.8, MacBook Pro 10.9.3 (latest), iMac 10.9.3, new HD, new install, new HP driver download. The above site will not print from Chome, Safari, FF, Reader or Preview. Copy and paste data into TextEdit will print wirelessly. cnn.com will print on all platforms. Chatted with HP Saturday night, tech guys said, "We are not trained on Mac systems. Please call back M-F 10-7pm. Billion dollar company can't give their tech guys Mac training?
I also have an old HP 2100M and HP LaserJet 400 color M451nw. The above website will not print. Other sites don't print either. The LJ 400 does nothing. The LJ 300 color will reboot the printer on print command from the above website. Frustrating! HP LJ 200 was returned within 30 days due to poor copying abilities. My story of frustration continues. Wish HP would come back and rise to a superior quality company!!

And, in a way, it's worse than that, as I'm coming to iWork as a new user with my first Mac, having not used 09, or any other version before. However, I'm also using M$ Office (2011), which is much much better on OSX than (2013) on Win7. Having said that, and to be fair to Apple, the experience of moving to a Mac from 21 years of DOS/Windoze use has, generally speaking, been an absolute revelation and has made PC use a pleasure again. Windoze 8 finally pushed me over the edge. A few weird menu placings is a small price to pay...

HT1338 somehow I installed the old pages over new pages for OSX Maverick now I have 2 and new version won't open files?

Somehow after upgrading to OSX Maverick I downloaded new pages version and loved it. Somehow l LAST WEEK I downloaded the old version of
pages and now the new pages files wont open? How do I uninstall the old pages?

You should be able to reinstall the new version.....
Out of curiosity, how did you install the old version over the new? I would have thought that was impossible.

You can search Google, eBay, Amazon, and Craigslist to find an old version of iWork for a PPC Mac. Probably needs to be iWork 6 or earlier.

Can't acces the drivers support page for any stream 7

Long story short, I've updated my HP Stream 7 Signature Edition from win 8.1 to win 10 TP. Everything was working fine, but because I did an update instead of a clean installation of win10 TP, I was running short of space in the C: drive, so I decided to do a clean install of win 10 TP. Now nothing is working, so I have to download drivers from the HP support page. Now when I enter the support page for any model of the Stream 7 (including the one I actually have, model 5709), I always get the same message: "We were unable to find any drivers for your product. Drivers may be in development so please check back at a later date or visit the product homepage." How is this possible? I ussed the support page, including drivers, just 3 weeks ago and every driver for every piece of hardware was there. Now its empty. Is there a problem with HP support at this time? Greetings

Hi: Unfortunately, the support pages are not working for most of the newer HP PC's. It has been that way for about a day now. Since I am not employed by nor do I represent HP, I am not sure when they will have the pages working again. Check back again some other time. With the Independence Day holiday weekend in the USA, I would not expect this to be taken care of immediately.

Email and Contacts missing in iTunes 11 for OSX Mavericks

I just upgraded my mac to OSX Mavericks. Prior to upgrading I had Mountain Lion. In iTunes, I used to be able to choose which email account I wanted to sync with my iPhone / iPad etc. After upgrading, this option is missing.

Apparently I am expected to update this info on my devices using iCloud. Does anyone have any instructions on how to do this? Is there some other way I can update my devices ? Most of my email accounts are for work, and I think it may be a violation of my company's security policy, if I am supposed to upload my passwords etc to iCloud.

So if I use a non-icloud email address (eg: work email address, gmail, yahoo etc), that means I need to enter the passwords and settings on each iDevice I own?? Why would they do this? It makes no sense, and is so tedious.

Drivers not available on the support page for my model

After having a hell time resolving the issue of multiply broswers opening and constantly refreshing I am now having issues downloading my driver package. During the process of trying to solve my browser problem I installed a fresh out of the box new installation of Windows 7 Ulitmate as I thought that my recovery was corrupted. In doing this I have lost all my drivers and initial software that was from the factory install. Then to top that off I have gone to the support page to load drivers from here and it doesnt work there are no drivers listing and it just keeps searching. Can anyone show me where i can download the driver package for my specific model?

If you are using IE9, you have to enable the command bar at the top of the browser, then select the Tools drop down menu and select the Compatibility View Settings.
Then uncheck the Microsoft box. I forgot what the exact box is labeled. It is microsoft compatibility list or some such.
The refresh the page.

half hour ago i was searching a driver for my a300d and i found a new bios version 2.80-win64 10/02/12
latest bios is 3.30 back in 2009
new versions are always with biggest numbers ..and never after almost 3 years
i'm not stupid enough to try this "new" bios, but there is plenty of fish :)
i hope someone from toshiba service support check this

P6N support, where is the support page for this motherboard?

i have recently purchased an pn6 motherboard, but can't find any updates or support on msi website, i am worried becasue nvidia have had issues with sata and stuff, other manufactures have released new fixes. So what is msi doing? Where is the support?

I'm ordering the 650i for myself... 680i just too bad, dun have internal PATA, which I worry that the JMicron thing will come back and haunt the user...
the next thing to worry is Nvidia chipset is known to be power hunger....
