Support Portal Help

I posted a question in the Support Portal last Wednesday and I have yet to get a reponse. It shows that the matter is still pending for an Adobe response. I thought Adobe handled these things in a day or two. Is there a better way to get a response?
My computer crashed and I am replacing it with a new one. I know that when I reinstall Photoshop CS3, I will get a message that I am out of authentications and that I should deauthenticate one copy to install the new one. The authentication is sitting on dead computer. How to I get another one? My new computer arrives Thursday and I want to re-install Photoshop right away.
Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

Forget about the support portal. I sent in for a refund of another adobe product thru support portal and it took them 27 days to respond. Even by calling them every three or four days. All they would say is they would contact me within 24 hrs. 27 days later I got a response. Better to call them. On activation problems, they will fix you up.

    Hello exper,
    Can you tell me that incase i have to log a request for a client server then how i will do that.
    I am simply facing a problem in PPOME transaction where a tab for IT 1005 planned compensation has been added but it is not showing any input fields there. However we tried the same configuation in Sandpit server and it is working fine.
    Incase i have to log this is to SAP for help, do i have to follow the same path to do it.

  • Customer Support Portal to report problems is not working

    Is not working.
    I called into installation help.  The person said he could not help me and I needed to report the problem through the Customer Support Portal.
    When I go there I sign in.
    I select Installation Help
    I select Your Products
    A drop down box appears
    It says Select Your Product.
    The problem is it doesn't show any products to select.

    What product are you trying to install? Acrobat? Reader? PhotoShop? LiveCycle........? Are you an enterprise customer?
    If you are an enterprise customer you should have been given an email address for support
    If not you can always post the questrion on the forums and we'll try to help from there.

    I understand that you have your S-ID and can login to SAP service market place, and you are looking for SAP customer number for your organisation so you can register other developer from your organisation.
    Please correct me if wrong, inthe above case you can login to sap service market place with your id and
    Go to> My profile> My personal data
    in the field customer you can find the sap customer ID. like XXXXXX and organisation name.
    Note this id is genrally 10 digit so add zero as prefix to adjust the length to 10 digit like 0000XXXXXX while registering for new user.
    I hope it should help.
    In any other case you can contact SAP as suggested by respected forum members.

  • Remote connections in SAP support portal time out

    Hello, we are having a problem opening connections to our systems in the support portal and would appreciate any help and direction.  This is probably a problem with our SAPRouter or firewall configuration but have been unable to identify where that problem is, and we are working closely with our network folks to try to correct.  We are able to download OSS notes through SNOTE and all of the RFC's work correctly but we can't seem to keep a connection open to allow SAP support to login to our systems.  The connection appears to open for about three minutes but then gives the error "Host did not respond 1-9 times" then the connection shows cancelled after about 18min.  We have had a high priority incident open with SAP for the last couple of weeks but haven't got much response from them.  SAP has the IP addresses of our SAPRouter and VPN correct and the routestring is correct.

    We are able to ping SAP(194.117.106.129) from the saprouter server successfully.  A few things I have read indicate that a simple test is that you should be able to telnet to SAP(ip above) on the configured port, 3299 but this we are not able to do and we've told this to SAP, we can telnet to port 21 but not 3299.
    SAPRouter is on a Windows 2008 server OS using VPN.  Attached is our saprouttab file.
    Also attached is a trace.out file, and dev_rout file.

    As far as I know not all notebooks can be found via support portal.
    As you said, Tecra R850-1KX has an model number: PT52SE-001001FR
    It seems that it was released in France and the unit belongs to PT52SE series.
    If you need drivers for this unit, go to Toshiba EU driver page and choose the R850 PT52SE series

  • SAP Support Portal - How to add my SAP xMII license in this enviromment?

    The correct way to get support from SAP is in the SAP Support Portal (http://service.sap.com/support). I can serch SAP Notes, tutorials, help guides, and a lot of things with my SAP Personal ID.
    To leave Messanges (SAP Support Portal->Problem Solving->Customer Messanges), I need a System in my profile, but when I try to put him, there are no options, only for "tradicionals" SAP Systems.
    I call the Suppor Call Center in Brazil, but none know how to help me.
    What I have to do? What is the correct way to leave messages about our problems and problems from our customers?

    Hello Vinicius,
    You need to get the guys in Exton to help you with this.  We developed a workaround for the Support System - since you don't actually register an xMII license it works a little differently. Give the guys in Exton a call and they should be able to help.

    We have a legacy monitoring product that is deployed on WLS as well.
    If we can embed it into EM console frame as a portalet, our Manager server will be reserved so that we can save our development effort.
    My question is that does EM GC support portal technology or does EM team have a plan to support it?

    The Enterprise Manager Extensibility Kit (EDK) does not provide support for directly embedding portlets, so the answer is no. However, the EDK (doc located here http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E24628_01/doc.121/e25159/toc.htm) as well as metric extensions (located here http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E24628_01/doc.121/e24473/metric_extension.htm#autoId0) do allow you to pull information from a wide variety of sources, which may get you what you need.   • Under what category is the CML download from the support portal?

    I am unable to locate the CML downloads from the cisco support portal.  What category is this located in?
    It seems like the marketing teams need to have a meeting and decide what kind of product this is.  Here in the support forums the product is listed under Network Infrastructure.  On the cisco.com site it is listed under Cloud and Systems Management.
    I have a valid license and support contract incoming, I just can't find the media download location.  Thanks for any help.

    I was able to work with TAC to get the edelivery email that included the OVA file.  How are you all going to handle product updates if there isn't any way to download the software from the normal support download tool?
    Another question I have now that I have the environment running is where do I download the client software?  I expected to see a download link somewhere on the User Workspace Management portal, but don't see anything.
    So far I have been a little disappointed with the lack of clarity in the documentation on simple things like this.  The documentation does a good job of instructing how to modify the .vmx file to get the nested hypervisor working (something that the end user shouldn't have to do, this should be handled in the OVA before it is delivered to the end user).
    I also feel that there needs to be a little more discussion on the deployment options for this software.  We are initially just wanting to run the simulations sandboxed with no connectivity to our corporate network except through the management interface for user connections.  I don't think we need the FLAT and SNAT networks for this, but if we do, I am confused because the documentation is poor.
    So now I have a server deployed, but no way to actually run simulations since I don't have any client software.

    i had to take my photoshop file into a hardrive because my dad was going to give me a new Mac and when things didn't work out and went back to my old one i use the time capsule thing to save everything before but didn't give me photoshop so i physically moved the file and tried to open it but then this error shows up

    If you purchased Lion for your iMac, just log into the Mac App Store from your MacBook using the Apple ID under which you purchased Lion and go to the Purchases page. You will be able to download and install Lion there. 
    searching the internet i found a link to upgrtade to 10.7
    The only place you get get Lion is from the Mac App Store. If you found some other site, that was an illegal copy and almost certainly tied to someone else's Apple ID and hence unusable by you. If the link was just to the Mac App Store, see above.
    As to the problem with synchronization to iCloud, that's not a 10.6 question, so I'd suggest you take up that specific issue in either the Lion or iCloud forums, providing full details, and someone there can probably help you sort things out.

    You do not need the Setup Assistant; in fact, you do not need any software on an external hard drive. I have two LaCie's; I erased the drive as soon as I plugged it in. You will need to format it anyway because most hard drives come Windows formatted. So, if you only want to use it with the Mac, highlight it in Disk Utility and choose Mac OS Extended (Journaled) as the format and the GUID Partition scheme under Options. While doing that, it will erase the drive (and get rid of the LaCie software) - once finished, your drive is ready to use for Time Machine or any other backup plans you have for it.
