Support problem. The adviser tried to diagnose the failure of an application called JOTNOT PRO to update. He said he'd phone back at 8pm. I pick up his call at 8pm. Electronic voice: thank you for calling apple. We are now closed" So now I have 2 problems: the adviser had got me to reset so bye bye wifi passwords and settings. And then when he phones back as we agreed he's not actually on the phone, it's just a voice saying Apple Support is now closed! What on earth is going on at apple support I wonder.
Anyway, the original problem: an application called JotNot Pro fails to update. The error message says something like "you cannot update this cos either you bought it with a different Apple ID or somebody else bought it."
Neither applies. Can anybody help?
PS. This is my first approach to the support community so please bear with me!

    Try reset iPad
    Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
    Note: Data will not be affected.

    Thanks adobe for making true my feature request in CS4. You added two buttons for "more especific" and "less especific" in the "add new css rule" dialog…
    Although, it doesn't go through ALL the posible combinations so I often don't find the class or ID I need and I end up typing it myself.
    So a graphic interface for selecting the objects I WANT to match would be cool. Even better if I can select the elements I DON'T WANT to match as well.
    A multiple element selection system should be enabled, and a new "select elements to match" button would enable the manual selection.
    The more-especific and less-especific buttons are mostly used to find a tag/class combination that matches one or several
    I wanted a more refined one, though, in which there are different drop down selects for each option, listing:
    e.g. for the following code, and having selected elements #page-2 and #page-8, A NEW DROP DOWN select would display a list of the combinations that would match BOTH elements, ordered not by specificy but by number of matches.

    So, the drop down option would list all the possible rules to OVERRIDE existing rules that match the chosen elements, sorted by amount of nodes matched.
    For this example, the first compound rule you will see in the dropdown will be the one that matches ".left_column .linktwo". (Matches 2 elements)
    I know it sounds obvious, something you could do yourself. BUT when you have A LOT of code, someone else created, with no obvious class names, or not even intended to be grown up that much… you really need something that finds what the elements you selected have in common.
    After your selection, another selection could allow you to DISCARD elements from the choosing chriteria.

    If I understand correctly you want all 6 devices to have access to a single calendar that each device gets notifications for and can edit. You can do that with an private iCloud shared calendar. First sign into www.icloud.com and use these steps from the following article to share a calendar:
    iCloud: Share a calendar with others
    Share a calendar privately
    Click the Share button to the right of the calendar name in the sidebar, then select Private Calendar.
    Note:    You can also share the same calendar publicly. For instructions, see the next task, “Share a calendar publicly.” 
    Type the invitee’s email address in the Add Person field and press Return.
    Click the pop-up menu with the invitee’s name and choose access privileges (View & Edit or View Only). 
    For each person you want to share the calendar with, repeat steps 2 and 3.
    When you’ve invited everyone and set their privileges, click OK.
    Invitation emails are sent from your iCloud email address to the participants you specified.

    It has downloaded into your download folder. Find it in your downloads and click on it to install itunes.

    It sounds like you have forgotten the Restrictions passcode to make an In-App Purchase.  If you forget your Restrictions passcode, you will need to perform a factory restore of your iPad:

    The iPhone has Activation Lock and will require you to have the previous owner's Apple ID and password or you'll need to get the previous owner to remove the device from his/her iCloud account:

    If you can't reach the previous owner or he/she is unwilling to cooperate, then the device is unusable by you. Return the iPhone for a refund if you can.

    I should have been clearer  My 3rd generation apple tv stoped working. Will not turn on. Battery in the remote changed, new and tested so that is not the issue. I am following the apple support directions to reset from a windows computer (directions from apple support page) and number 5 says to "clicl restore apple tv from the apple tv summary page"  which I can not find anywhere.

    On all of these devices, go to: Settings > iCloud and make sure they're updated with the new password. If you're talking about Macs, go to: "System Preferences > iCloud" too.

    Which version of Photoshop do you have? The current version is 13.0.6.

    Thanks for getting back. Hadn't got round to re uploading the amended feed. I just did it now.
    The only thing is, Feed Validator doesn't like it because of the picture size, and a couple of other things, it reeds the following:

    Unless you enabled Find My iPad on it before it was stolen then there isn't any way to locate it. If you did enable it then you could try locating and/or remotely wiping it either via http://icloud.com on a computer or Find My iPhone on another device - but that will only work if it's connected to a network and the device hasn't already been wiped and/or Find My iPad disabled on it.
    If you haven't already done so then you should report it to the police. You should also change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc., and if it was a cellular model you should also contact your carrier.
