I've installed Adobe Creative Design Premium version 5 on two computers, but have reformatted one of them without deactivating. Am trying to reinstall it onto the newly formatted laptop but unable to use the serial number provided under my registered products in "My Accounts" page - what do I do?

Adobe Creative Suite Premium 1.0

We have seem to misplaced one of our CDs. Can anyone tell me how many CDs came with the original Adobe Creative Suite Premium? I have 2 install CDs, one extra/resource CD and one training CD. I want to make sure that I have not lost one of the install CDs.
I also would like to find a list of all of the fonts that come with Adobe Creative Suite Premium. We have installed so many fonts I cannot tell what originally came with the CD and what I need to get permission to use in my work. Thank You.

Making a total of 6 CD's.
If you have 2 Install CD's, you should be fine. Sounds, like you may have lost one of the resources and extras or the Pagemaker Plug-In Pack CD's though...

I just try to install the Adobe Creative CS4 but apparently it can't install until I quit the DeliciousSafariAgent -
I try to kill the app from activity monitor but it doesn't work, can you help me to kill or uninstall this agent?

Wow! There's a completely useless plugin. You can manage your bookmarks just as easily by clicking the book icon near the top left of Safari.
Look in the /Library/Internet Plugins/ folder for something there that is named like Delicious Safari. If nothing else, check the documentation that came with this thing and see if it has an uninstaller, or a text file that tells you what it installs and where.
Edit: Well, that's easy enough. It comes with its own uninstaller. Run that and then install the Adobe software.

Yes, provided you understand that install and activate are two different things.
Install as often as you wish.
But you can only activate the software for use on a maximum of two PCs at any one time.
You won't be able to use the software on a 3rd computer (even if it is installed) unless you free up an activation on another PC and then activate the software on the 3rd PC.

Hello all! I run CS4 on my PC laptop, windows vista, 32 bit, 280 gb of hard drive and 4 gb of ram. So here's my dilemma. I've had to reformat my hard drive a couple of times because it gets to critical mass after 4 months of heavy CS4 and internet usage. I do run the latest version of Norton 360 on my system and use google chrome as my browser. I'm taking stuff off my laptop now in the way of files and I've backed up my files on a WD external drive. I also don't really run any other programs except the ones in CS4 (mainly PS, Illustrator and InDesign). I didn't even put Office on my system. So I was wondering if CS4 or any of the CS versions back up any of your saved files to some elusive place on your hard drive as a secondary option. I can't, for the life of me, figure out why my hard drive fills up so fast. I just finished my last semester of school and I realize that some of the folders I had on my desktop were in the GB, but I'm not getting why it fills up quickly. Is there something I should "set" when I'm installing CS4 so that it doesn't hog all my hard drive. I point the finger at Adobe because that's the only really big program that I know of that I run on my system. I'm almost done taking off all my important files/folders and I'm going to install CS6. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everybody and take care. :-)

Nobody can know, but from your all too eager Norton software quarantining files en masse or creating "security backups" to Windows' own system restore to unfinished print jobs to whatever there could be a million reasons. Also your temporary files may simply be filling up, which in part is normal, but not so normal if those files are e.g. Photoshop swap files that have been left in place after program crashes. Refer to some of the info here and do some housekeeping:

Beyond the usual config files in your user folder, Adobe don't keep backups, but naturalyl some programs have auto-save features that may also produce one or the other gigabyte of data...

Adobe Creative Suite Premium All Re-install Except PhotoShop

I have been using Creative Suite Premium for over 4 years. It was working fine until several days ago when Photoshop locked up. After closing it, I have was not able to get Photoshop to run. I have tried to uninstall and re-install the entire suite several times. All of the programs in CS installed fine and I can open them and work in them, EXCEPT PhotoShop. PhotoShop is the main program I use. When I tried to install just PhotoShop, I got an error message that the serial number is invalid. I re-checked and re-entered the serial number several times, but always got the same error message. I don't understand whay happened in the first place and why the problem is only with PhotoShop.
I use PhotoShop on a daily basis with my job, so I need it to be up and running. I am also on a limited income and budget and cannot afford to buy their expensive upgrades, nor should I have to since the program has been working fine all this time.
I tried the Tech suppport chat and after a lengthy wait and discussion, was told that Tech Support does support CS. I know Adobe is trying to force me to spend hudnreds of dollars to upgrade, but if I am forced to buy new software, it won't be from Adobe.
Does anyone out there know of a solution to fix this? Thanks.

Before uninstall/reinstalling any software always try to fix the preference file first. Reason is, if the file is corrupted, reinstalling the app will not fix it, as it assumes that you want to keep your prefered settings, hence preference file.
Most apps will recreate the file if it can not find it, but to be safe, moving the file to another location, will allow you to put it back if it does not recreate the file.

Is Adobe Creative Web Premium compatible with Windows 8?

CS3 wasn't even officially certified for Win 7, so you should be prepared that it may not at all work with an even newer Windows version... I would predict that e.g. printing will absolutely not work, bvecause that part has completely changed in Win 8. Beyond that I doubt you will find definitive answers. There's simply too many variables. For some it works, for others it won't. Nothing's lost by trying, though.

Yes, your fonts are locked. This is a known issue with different older versions of Adobe products if they are mixed. You need to take ownership and set their permissions to full access. There is some article on it in the knowledge base, but you might just as well do a web search on a more generic level about such procedures. Installed Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design on a Computer That No Longer Works

I purchasesd a copy of Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design & Web Premium for school a while ago and had it on my laptop. Recently, my computer wont start up, i just wont work. I have purchased a full retail version of "Adobe Production Studio Premium" (2005) (1 user licence) off Amazon, but there are problems to activate it.
Tried to activate the software by internet and by phone. Both times equally unsuccessful. Eventually I have located the following link "https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/entitlement/index.cfm?e=cs2_downloads" to resolve the activation process however I could not find the exact package to correspond to my purchase "Production Studio Premium" - instead everything is splintered into different parts. Am I legally allowed to download and install the software from individual parts provided within "the link" I have mentioned or I should consider going for a refund and sending back the "Adobe Production Studio Premium" for a full refund. Bear in mind, I have no other but commercial and business intentions. Help and advise appreciated.

If you purchased the CS2 suite then you are allowed to download and install whatever you can of the software thru the Adobe site.

I previously installed Adobe Photoshop CS4 on my Macbook Pro. My hard drive crashed, and I had to get a new hard drive replaced.
