Support the news front-end languages of the GUI

I want know about the roadmap for support the news front-end languages of the GUI, especially about Brazilian Portuguese language.

As with other Oracle software the GUI translation in other languages is based on a business case basis. Pl send me an email at [email protected] , detailing the customer case and I will take it up with all concerned folks.

New Front-End Editor is Dumping when I try to check an ABAP source code

I'm trying to check the source code of any ABAP in SE38 with the new front-end editor, but I'm facing a dump, maybe there is missing a patch or something like that. if any of you have information about that I really appreciate your aswers.
I reinstalled the SAP GUI and still have the issue.

                           Hi you can try the below things :
1) You need have the latest patch of the SAP GUI installed.
2) If you have the above try to re-install the GUI from the scratch. It might be courrupted.
3) If VISTA need to check the GUI compatibility.

New front end issue - services not starting

Have build an additional lync 2013 standard edition server, the setup went through fine without error but the following services will not start and cannot figure out why.

Event logs only give the following

Cant find anything else in the event logs

I have made sure they are all on the same CU update but the new front ends will still not start, following errorsWhere would i see if its a certificate related error as they look ok from the lync deployment wizard?

Hi Team,
Our requirement : We are designing a new front end using PHP portal and pull the data from SAP-backend for travel expense/request.
We are able to upload the document to PR05 using frontend portal.
If employee/manger wants to read the attachment in the portal,how to get the documents attached in PR05 to the front end..
I would like to know the RFC which help me in reading the attachemnts.Regards,

I dont want use all the values in my second program I need to pass empno and job only.Since your cursor gets all the columns (using the * is not a good way to code the cursor), that is what your other program will get when it calls pr_test procedure. You will have to FETCH all the columns in that other procedure and discard the ones you do not need.
Alternatively, change the code of cursor to select only the columns you would actually need.

Hi,
1. login to sql server u2013 with ur server credentials and connect.
2. select ur sql for ex: sap bw
3. Right click u2013 sapbw - task - export data From sql to excel I m exporting So give sql details
4. Destination u2013 select excel.. and browse where u want to save the fileu2026
5. give next
6. select from which table u want to export
7. click on next
8. click on finish
9. close
10. go to desktop and open the xyz.xls file
11. not make it as csv file and load the data to BI as a flat file

Problem using the Web front end

I have been playing with the Web publishing tool and I can get it working fine until I build an executable file. Then when the vi is loaded using the .exe file the web front end comes up with the comment vi not loaded into memory?
I am obviously doing something wrong but up until now I can not see it?
Any suggestinos welcome.

The new Front Row should take a backseat.

The Front Row on Leopard looks better, except for the fade-in/out effect instead of the desktop-being-pushed-back effect.
But its functionality has gone down. You can no longer resume movies or even leave the music on when you quit front row...
Is there anyway to get that functionality back on the new Front Row?? Its Apple, we should have everything, the looks and the works!
Its also a no-go on the feedback to apple... They don't have an option for Front Row.
If Apple people are reading this... you know what to do in 10.5.2!

Front Row appears to be a new application. The Front Row version supplied with remote control equipped Intel Macs seemed to call upon iTunes (and thence Quicktime) to do its heavy lifting. Thus iTunes helper would keep music playing after Front Row quit. The other feature you didn't mention you lost was that Front Row would play music wirelessly via Air Tunes and an Airport Express when it used iTunes. It also fails to use an external monitor for DVDs.
The new Front Row can be legally used by owners of Mac gear that doesn't have a remote control. This is a great leap forward for those who don't as yet have an Intel Mac, or who have a Power Mac. hi you can create transient field in view object indicate to visibility of row (boolean ) and create view criteria that show only rows that are able to be visible according to transient attribute and at the update process set the attribute to true inside entityImpl class

Does the new Front row features the same Podcasts blue markers on TV show?

Does the new Front row features the same Podcasts blue markers on TV show? As I'm using Tiger right now with Front-Row V1 that only show the blue markers on the Podcasts.
Not only that, but it also doesn't update the TV Shows counters when using front-row.
Another thing I wonder, its about Apple TV 2 (or whatever the name is) I'm using my Mini-MAC to watch iTunes Podcasts, TV Shows, Movies and DVD movies on my living room. Should I just get an Apple TV instead? Or with Leopard I can make it work just like Apple TV but with less restrictions? Right now I'm using an external 400 gig HD.

New front end editor problem

I'm quite new on this forum, so don't be so angry if I'm asking about something that someone else was asking for, by i didn't found answer on my question.
So...
In my company, administrator made some updates in 4.7, after that updates new front end editor is avalible (this with code colorin, code hinting, code folding etc).
But I have some problem with keyboard mapping scheme. When i try to save my own setting or change keymapping to another one, SAP stop responding (it's not a crash with short dump but simple aplication freezing). I tried to find some solution to this behaviour but I didn't found it yet.
My question is:
1) Did someone else have the same behaviour as I?
2) Where to find SAP notes about front end editor?

Keymapping settings in file:
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\ab4_data\keymap.xml
You should also check the following dir:
c:\Program Files\SAP\FrontEnd\SapGui\ab4_data\
During patch installation this dir is overwritten, and during the first use of the new editor, the files from here copied to the <username>\ab4_data dir, where you can change them.
Might be permission problem, I can imagine, that if you have no authorization to change these files, the GUI starts hanging or chrashing.

Comment and uncomment in the new SE38 editor: Doing it the old way

Prerequisites: Front-end Editor (New)
The Front-End Editor is available with SAP GUI for Windows 6.40 Patch level 10 or higher.
Steps:
1) Open SE38(or SE24,SE37,SE80) and click on the icon below the scroll bar (the last one on the right-bottom) this will open Options dialog. Choose Keyboard from the tree. <a href="http://farm1.static.flickr.com/154/382643543_5732930f15_o.jpg">See the graphics</a>
2) From the Listbox under command choose Edit.LineComment
3) Shortcuts for selected commands will come prefilled as Ctrl + \
Place your cursor in "New Shortcut" textbox and press the old combination (Ctrl + <)
it may look as ( Ctrl + , ) instead of (Ctrl + <)
4) Click Asign
5) Now your new front-end editor will revert back to your old habit of commenting.
6) Repeate Step 3 for the command Edit.LineUncomment
you may want to map it to the old shortcut (Ctrl + >)
This changes will be local to your machine and NOT attached to the sap user. Behind the scene all the steps above will edit the file keymap.xml (keyboard schema file normally kept in C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\ab4_data\) So either copy this file if you move to a new machine or repeate these steps on the new machine.

When I am trying to open a report with the ABAP New Front-End Editor with Windows 7 as OS, the system is getting freezed without navigating to any other screen .The SAP GUI that I am using is Release 710 with Patch level 17.
Please help me to sort out the problem

That's the classic behaviour after using Migration Assistant and that's normal.
