Supported third party platforms in Australia

Can anyone tell me which third party platforms, specifically, whether or not, Spotify, Netflix, SingStar, are supported Playstation Network Platforms? Or is it because some ISPs and Telecoms companies are attempting to hijack the marketing data from the Playstation Network?

USB connect (normal, PTP) - put it in PTP mode for Mac OS X only.
Use the "System Profiler" (under the Apple menu) to make sure your camera is recognized. Then use Image Capture (Applications folder) to get the files off your camera.

OSB will work with any security provider that is designed as per http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12840_01/wls/docs103/dvspisec/index.html. OSB completely relies on Weblogic security framework and doesn't do any official certification for third-party security providers.

OSB - Third Party JCA Adapter Deployment

Hi everyone,
I would like to know if OSB 11 supports third party JCA adapter besides Oracle JCA adapter.
If it does, I would like to know how I can generate wsdl and jca files for the thrid party adapter in order to deploy it to OSB. Thanks in advance.

The JCA transport of OSB works in conjunction with a built-in JCA adapter framework and JCA-compliant adapters to interact with EIS systems. You may need to develope a custom transport (similar to JCA transport in OSB), to use your custom/third party JCA adapters with it.

Better option would be to raise an ER with support and if product development approves the same then a new feature can be introduced in OSB to support third party JCA adapters as part of existing JCA transport/as part of a new transport.

Third Party VST audio plugins - stereo, multichannel

I am developing VST audio plugins. I have the trial version of Adobe Audition CS5 on Mac OSX and as I started to realize this version of Audition doesn't support 64-bit VST plugins, is this correct? or is there something I should do for Audition to scan and load my 64-bit plugin?
Another question I have is well I just made a 32-bit version of my plugin for Audition to find it and it works fine when its a stereo 2 input 2 output plugin.
But I have a plugin that is 2 input 4 output and although making it 32-bits Audition will scan and find it, It will always be disabled in the plugin list and I can't find a way to enable the plugin.
I would like to know if its possible to have a plugin that has more than 2 outputs and what do I have to do to enable it since the standard way won't do it (although the plugin is found). And also what is the deal with 64 bit plugins and Audition CS5.
Any information would be highly appreciated!

This release of Audition is 32-bit only and thus only supports 32-bit VST plug-ins. You may wish to try your 64-bit VST in Premiere Pro as it is a 64-bit app that also supports third-party VSTs

You can have plug-ins with more than 2 outputs, however, we don't support plug-ins with asymmetrical channel configurations. There's a lot of details that need to be attended to in order to get that to be bulletproof. So if you had something that was 6 in and 6 out, that should be possible in this version of Audition.

Third Party Software on 3

Hello All
I have the fabulous E61, however, sadly have it on the UK Network 3, didn't think anything of it until recently tried to use Worldmate and Morange - 3 dont support third party software - I almost laughed down the phone. Can you believe that, with all the great software out there and 3 wont have it on their phones.
Anyway, after an email or 2, I am being called later today, to rectify this, apparently it can be done, so I'll wait and see and let you know if this is successful.

Well had my call from 3 (call centre is completely useless). It has been confirmed that 3 block all third party applications, whether or not they are pre-installed on the phone by Nokia.
I have written a very strongly worded letter to the CEO of 3 - will wait and see if that does anything. Perhaps they will be able to flash the phone to get rid of the 3 **bleep**.

Can we Monitor third party Windows servers through Cisco Prime

Hi Team,
We are using Cisco Prime assurance and are currently monitoring Cisco UCCE Components through it.
Meanwhile we have few third party windows servers , which we would like to monitor it through Cisco Prime , just to maintain a single monitoring tool.
If yes, please share the steps or link.Also highlight the limitations in that.

Seems Cisco Prime Assurance Manager is now obsolete and end of life already.
It is replaced by Cisco Prime Infrastructure. CPI supports third party/vendor devices to some minimum extent with limited management details collected via SNMP Templates.

CS5 Trial Version: are third party plugins allowed?

I'm just considering an upgrade from Elements on recommendation that CS5 will provide better colour and page size control on my Canon iPF5000 - there is a Canon plugin that supports CS5 (they claim!).
So downloaded the trial CS5 version and installed the Canon plugin according to the docs in ./plugins/import-export. No matter what I do I cannot get Photoshop to list the plugin, so I have no idea if it's actually being recognised or not. Unfortunately Canon don't seem to provide any documentation, so I've no idea what to expect.
I've been told that trial versions don't support plugins - is this correct?

The trial does support third party plugins.
If the plugin is not written for 64 bits, then it will only be available if you switch Photoshop to run in 32 bits addressing mode.

Best option for profilling app running in third party propritery platform?

i am involved with a legacy project wherein jdk1.3.1 was used for development, the java code is deployed in a propritery platform/server ( meant for telecom applications). The server was basically meant for C++ modules but with popularity of Java the vendor started supporting deployment of Java modules as well...but its still a lot away from being called good enough :(
My problem is some memory leaks that i am facing in the application, and coz the JVM is started internally by the third party server/platform based on some configuration info on what all java code is to be executed. I am not in control of starting somethign like hprof....
what arethe best ways to do profilling in such a scenario?? can something like hprof be executed programmatically ?? ( as i get control of JVM once its started by the 3pp/platform )
Or the other option might be plugging in some JNI code on JVMTI..but unfortunately time doesnt support choosing that option....:(
( i would go for that in worst case scenario but am just hunting out some cheaper options available)

Presence deployment on 'third party specs-based' VM platform & integration with other UC apps on MCS hw

I have a client who's currently running UCM ver 9.1.1 on MCS hw .. each for Call Mgr., UCxn, CCX.. they want to add Presence & IM on their own VM hardware and infrastructure.. on 'third party specs-based' platform. Besides complying with VM hw compatibility list and supported CPU..Would full Presence features be available or only chat/ IM? Has anyone had deployment experience with hybrid integration of UCM apps on separate MCS hw and introducing Presence on VM platform ? Client just purchased new MCS hw 2-yrs ago. I'm assuming ISO file for Presence available for download without additional cost for actual media/ software; is that also true?

As long as the HW is supported, there is no limitation on what you get out of the product.
If they have verified their VM infrastructure complies to the Cisco requirements, and it does, whether the other apps are on MCS, UCS, 3rd party specs, etc. makes no difference at all.

Support of UCS P81E in third-party servers

The datasheet referenced her descibes Adapter-FEX the reference is specific to that technology. It states:
"...An ecosystem of adapter vendors is now about to support this technology using the IEEE 802.1Qbh standard, the first vendor being Cisco itself, with the Cisco UCS P81E VIC (Figure 2), designed for use with Cisco UCS C-Series Rack-Mount Servers. Other adapter vendors will soon follow, providing adapters that support this capability. Both Cisco Nexus 5500 platform and the Cisco Nexus 2000 Series Fabric Extenders support the Adapter FEX technology across a variety of adapter platforms. Therefore, the offering can now be expanded outside a Cisco UCS environment to third-party server vendors that support IEEE 802.1Qbh-capable adapters."
This means that you could use a third-party adapter such as the Broadcom 57712 which is IEEE 802.1Qbh (prestandard IEEE 802.1Qbr) capable to configure Adapter-FEX in a Cisco or Non-Cisco server.
As Manish mentions, the P81E is only supported in the C-Series servers and there are currently no immediate plans to qualify it with other third party servers.
