Suppress mesage from standard SAP FM

Hi,
I am calling standard FM. That FM gives 2 to 3 information messages in as POP-UP box with OK button. I want to suppress that pop-ups, because my FM will be called from RFC, so they can not handle this kind of runtime functionality.
It will also be fine if there is any method to continue by auto accepting information box.
Can any one please help me regarding this.

In my understanding there is no such things as KPI for SAP PS in standard SAP.
KPI's are usually reporting requirements assessed during blueprint phase and are client specfic.

Copying Batch Characteristics Value from Standard SAP Table Field

Dear Experts,
1. While creating a user-defined Batch Characteristics 'CREATED_BY' using ct04, on the Additional Data tab, I filled the following fields as follows: Table Name = MCHA, Field Name =ERNAM.
'CREATED_BY' was then assigned to a batch Class TRIMMED (of class type 022).
TRIMMED was assigned to a batch managed material ADE245DD.
After posting co15 (confirmation of production order) for material ADE245DD, the value in table MCHA & field ERNAM is automatically copied into the Batch Characteristics value field of u2018CREATED_BYu2019 for the generated batch.
2. But I am unable to achieve the same result when I create another Batch Characteristic with similar settings in the Additional Data tab as follows: Table Name = MARC, Field Name = DISPO.
After doing co15, the value stored in table MARC and field DISPO does not get copied into the Batch Characteristics value.
Please what do I need to do in Scenario 2 above to achieve the same result as in Scenario1?

Table and field used in additional data table should be related to the object than only it will work, for e.g. MCHA and ERDAT will work if you create a characteristcis and assign it to class type Batch (022/023) because MCHA table has Batch no. as primary key,
this implies for using material specific table e.g. MARA , you should use characteristics with class type 001 (Material class) , try using with table MARC also

Data fetching from Standard tables or transaction to SAP PI

Dear Friends !
Good day ! How are you ?
I have one requirement , My client asks me to develop a solution in that I should get the data from standard SAP tables like EKKO, EKPO ( MM related ) etc.. and send it to PI system and then PI system sends it to third party system database system.
We have current scenario is working fine, I have abap proxy that I called in various standard transaction codes ( MIRO, MIGO, etc ) ' Baddis just beforethe commit stament and it passed the data to SAP PI system and it sends to SQL system.
but my client dont want me to use Baddis. Client wants like u should read from those EKKO,EKPO tables as soon as you get new entry there and send it to PI system. I have no clue How can I go further in that. Shall I use events ? but then question is same I need to trgger them somewere? Is any one have idea How I can send the data to PI system frm SAP standard tcodes and tables without using Baddis.
Please reply me. your any help will be appreciated.

The current Approach of your development perfectly good approach,
it is not possbiel to read data directly from SAP Tables, you have to use IDoc/RFC/Proxy,if you want to avoid BADI's then better to contact ABAP Team, they will help you different approches .
But you have to use Porxy/IDoc/BAPI for sure.

Should I include standard sap screen into my program?

Hi all,
I have a custom program, where I need to modify the values of material batch classification values (like in trans. msc2n).
What is the best way to do it?
I tried to copy the screen from standard sap function pool CHRG (screen 2300) to my own, but I failed.
It has few subscreens included (e.g. screen 5000 from pool CTMS), which use lot of data provided in the standard program and I am unable to follow all the logic included there to make it work in my program.

I have a custom transaction where I should modify some of the material batch characteristic values for some certain batches. I was trying to build my own UI and logic to perform this, but I can't find any FM's to change the characteristic values (I am using CLAF_CLASSIFICATION_OF_OBJECTS to retrieve the values but have no idea how to change and store them).
That's why I thought of including some standard functionality in my program but as You said, screens alone won't help me much.
Anyway, thanks for reply. Any further suggestions appreciated.

There are standard steps for this...
1.Activate Dasasource in R/3 (RSA5)
2. Replicate DataSource in BW
3. Create Update rule / Transformations
4. Create Infopackages / DTP's and load data.
You can get details in any BW/BI book.

Restricting standard SAP queries from seeing HR Data

Newbie back again with another question. When our system was implemented 2 yrs ago, supposedly HR Master Data was restricted from the majority of users. One of our SAP functional consultants just showed me how the Standard SAP Query can (if you know what to search for) pull up all HR master data.
Granted my user community isn't that knowledgeable (yet) but as the Security person, I'd rather they not be able too.
How do I restrict access to the Standard Query?

The lastest release-when I look up my component list they say 604 to 700
view-quickview.
Query types-HR Infotype tables may be accessed by users of SQVI, SQ01, etc.
Which authority-checks - still researching. Part of my problem is that when the system was developed we had an HR expert and he was pretty hands on and not into sharing information. As often happens, he's moved on to other projects and I'm supposed to handle maintain and run with zero documentation or understand of his security model for HR. So I'm not sure if this was 1. by design and supposed to be managed inside HR some other way, 2. a gap 3. a bug.
My assumption is 2... it appears the SQVI is not using S_TABU_DIS in any assignments

How is standard SAP characteristic (LOBM*) uploaded from one system to another system (where the SAP characteristic is intially does not exist)?

To reinstall on the new computer you will need
- serial number
- CD or install file you saved from download
- old serial number, if it was an upgrade
It may say "too many activations"; if so, contact Adobe

Check with the functional consultant. There might be a config transaction, wherein you can specify the type of error whether Harderror' or warning etc.

How can we fetch the information from standard ItemDetails iView of SAP MDM

Is there any chance to fetch the information from standard ItemDetails iView? if it is possible please tell me the process.

Please follow the below steps:
1. Create the Result Set iView.
2. Select the Custom Events button and Add the Custom Event
3. Select Event Type=EPCF
4. Give Event Name=EpfcTest and Namespace=urn:com.sap.tc.webdynpro.mdm.epfc.test
5. Select the desired fields to be passed to the WebDynpro application and give the parameter name.
6. Save the iView
7. Create WebDynpro application and write the below code.

Calling a Standard SAP transaction VA03 from another web dynpro application

I have a requirement wherein I need to call the standard SAP transaction VA03 whenever a sales order is selected in some other we dynpro application so that the sales order gets displayed.
No regarding usage of OBN for the above functionality I have certain queries:
1. In order to call VA03 do I need to create a transactional iview for it or is there any direct method.Also how to pass this sales order number as parameter to the T.Code.
2. Can we use standard business object BUS2032 for OBN or a new Business object is created.What exactly is the purpose of these standard business objects in portal and when should they be used.

Hi Aman - Do you have a portal team in your project or you have to create the IVIEWS yourself?
I do have a portal team and I dont know how they create the IVIEWs but for example, I will go to my portal team and I will ask them to create an IVIEW for TCODE VA03, they will created and they will tell me the input parameters they entered for the IVIEW so I can call OBN and display in webdynpro.
SAP in SRM has webdynpro e.g. for BUS2121 and they have an IVIEW already implemented in the portal context pointing to the webdynpro of BUS2121 so we can used the IVIEW by calling OBN and passing the parameters; in my case the object_type will be 'shc' and the operation will be 'display' and the paremeters itab will be the GUID of my shopping cart, that way the OBN can understand which Shopping cart open and in which operation mode.
I also did something like your requirement, I need it to display a specific case in Records Management but SAP has a standard IVIEW for records management 'RMREGEDIT' that didn't work for my requirement so I went to SE38 created a program that displayed the case based on GUID and I created a TCODE of my custom program. Portal team created a custom IVIEW of my custom TCODE and they told me the input parameters to call the TCODE in OBN and I pass in the itab parameter the GUID of the case using the FM that I post before.
The action to call the OBN is in the event handler ON_CLICK of my ALV and the action is getting trigger when the user actually clicks a HYPERLINK in the ALV.

I have to access a table and modified it defined in a standard SAP method (PROCESS_INPUT_FILTER) of class (CL_HANDLE_MM).
As we normaly do it in case of Standard program
for example: ('(SAPLMEPO)ett[]') here we are accessing internal table ett defined in SAPLMEPO.
so how we can do the same thing if some thing defined in standard SAP method.

I need to validate that a number is entered with zero or one decimal place, then make sure it is evenly
divisible by .5 in order to test for whole or half numbers only. If not, I use an alert to
display a message when the user leaves the field.

Is there any standard SAP table which stores the license number assigned to a delivery item

Hi Experts,
This is in relation to license number assigned to a delivery item under ‘Export License Log’. Our scenario is for delivery of type NLCC created for an inter-company stock transport order. (i.e.not a sales order case where the license may get copied from sales order to delivery through copy control)
As we understand, for legal control – relevant scenarios, export license for each item shall be determined afresh every time the delivery is accessed. (Depending on legal regulation, grouping, destination country, export control class, delivery partners vis-à-vis license master customer assignments etc.)
To print the license text on one of the delivery output types, we want to access the license number for each item. (determined under export license log)
Our question is: is there any standard SAP table which stores the license number assigned to a delivery item?
We have checked some of the license tables (T606*, VAEX, EMXX etc.) but couldn’t get any specific table storing delivery-item-specific license data.

The export control log can be accessed by going to delivery Extras-> Export license log
We need a table that stores the determined license for each item in a delivery document ( as shown in the below screenshot)

It will read the data from excel sheet column wise and then store it in ITAB. you can change the order after reading the file.
In case of Text file use FM GUI_UPLOAD.
You can change the order of the fileds after reading it from file, but the length and all you have to make compatible to SAP standard fields.
