Suppress Overall result (both rows and columns side and its data)

Hello all,
I need to do some settings in BEx Query Designer, so that In BEx Analyzer, I don't see 'overall result' both on 'rows' and 'column' sides
This is what I have done so far
In 'rows' section, Properties of my KF (no. Products) then 'calculation' tab 'calculate result as'=Suppress result
This way in BEx Analyzer I don't see the FIGURES/DATA for 'Result' and 'overall result' BUT 'result' and 'overall result' still exist both on rows and colum side even if there are not figures in them.
Is there any property in BEx Designer so that I don't see 'overall result' at all

selecting a characteristic, properties, Display tab, Result lines: Always Suppress
with this I don't see 'result'
but 'overall result' result exist both on 'rows' and 'column' side alongwith its data.
If I combine the above with this: selecting KF, properties, calucations, Calculate result as: Suppress result
then
I don't see the data in 'overall result' BUT 'overall result' still exist both on rows and column sides
any setting so that 'overall result' completely vanishes

Extractor 0HR_PA_OS_1 as both masterdata and transaction data in same load?

We use the 0HR_PA_OS_1 as an extractor for both masterdata and transaction data. To reduce the loadingtime I would like to know if we can populate both the info.object and the Info cube from the same load. Technical it should be no problem, but the infoobject 0HRPOSITION is masterdata in the Info cube using the same extractor, and masterdata should alsways be loaded before transaction data.

We have daily load process chains to load HR data. And we have following sequence
Attribute Data Load -> Text Data Load -> Attribute change Run -> Transaction Data Load.
0HR_PA_OS_1 (for 0HRPOSITION) gets loaded in attribute load local PC, and in Transaction Data Load PC we have DTP that loads from PSA to cube 0PAOS_C01.
Yes, masterdata should always be loaded before transaction data, this is because of SIDs generation and also if u r using 'Read master Data' in any of transactional transformation mapping, then this 'Read master Data' should happen after master data (0HRPOSITION) is active (after Attribute change Run).

How to print both normal and bold data in a single line

FAX: Z8525_text.
where FAX needs to be in bold and Z8525_text is a standard text and it shoould not be bold , both of this needs to be displayed in
a single line.
Can you let me know how to print both normal and bold data in a single line one of which is coming fro standard text.

Hi Senthil,
If you are using smartforms, have a character format created for BOLD and apply it to the text you want to highlight. The remaining text of the line could be applied with a Character format which is not highlighted.

How to change both start and end dates for an business event (or any object

Hi all.
We are in the case to change the validity dates for several business events in training management.
The special point is that both, start and end date, have to be changed.
In example, business event 00000001 is valid from 2010.01.01 to 2010.01.31 and shoud be "moved" from 2010.05.01 to 2010.05.31.
So if i run RHBEGDA0 report to change start date first, it doesn't work propperly because new start date is bigger than old enddate.
Next thing we thought is to change end date first, using RHGRENZ1, and then change the start date, with the report RHBEGDA0. Problem with this solution is that a business event duration shoud be calculated taking care of free days (weekends and day ofs).
Is there any better solution for this?

Need help getting multiple user accounts access an app and its data

Hello All,
We recently got a new iMAC. We set up 3 user accounts in it. Two are admin accounts (one for me and one for my husband). The third is a user account with parental controls turned on (for our kid). Here is the basic setup:
1. Accnt1 - admin
2. Accnt2 - admin
3. Accnt3 - user
Now, I installed the complete national geographic application on the iMAC along with all the data. This is a 6 CD set that took several hours to install. I installed it logged in with Accnt1 (please see above). This installed all the data (150 years worth of data) onto the Documents folder for Accnt1.
The installation was successful and when I launch the application, I can view all the data from Accnt1.
So what is the problem? I tried logging in from Accnt2 and Accnt3. While the applciation is visible and will launch from both those user profiles, no data gets displayed. My guess is that this is because the data from the 6 CD's got installed onto the Documents folder for Accnt1 which is not viewable/accessible from Accnt2 and Accnt3. Therefore, nothing gets displayed.
How do I fix this issue without reinstalling the software so that ALL 3 user accounts on my iMac can access the application AND its data?
My guess is that I will have to provide user permissions/access to the Documents folder for Accnt1 such that both Accnt2 and Accnt3 are read/write. I tried to do that via the Finder and 'More info' operation wherein I click on the tiny lock icon at the bottom of the screen and add Accnt2 and Accnt3 as read/write. But this does not fix the problem for ALL folders further down and I dont want to fix each and every folder.
Is there a quick way to resolve this problem? Can I fix this issue via a terminal window with a command?
Please do help me out.

Move the data folder out of A's documents folder and into /Users/Shared. Then, control-option-command-drag the data folder from its new location back to its original location in A's documents folder. This makes an alias. Log in to the other user accounts and repeat the process for making aliases, to each user's Documents folder.
You might also contact the developer and politely suggest that they learn how to write programs properly for Mac OS X.

Oops I Deleted my App! (and its data)

Hey all, recently deleted an app and all its data off my 2G 8Gb iPod Touch.
From what I'm reading I can restore that app and its data (is that what a .mddata file is?) correct? Or is only the app backed up?
If the data can be backed up, is the following the correct method of doing so?
Want to be sure, before I plug in and potentially lose the backup (also backing up the folder mentioned below beforehand)
1. plug in iPod
2. in iTunes - Select the backup you want for your device and select the Continue button to complete your device's restoration.
3. Pick from any located in +~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/+
And that should sync whatever application data back (from the last point I performed a sync) correct?
I have Apps synced in iTunes previous to this mishap. I also should note that I am not running iTunes 9.2 (or iOs 4) - whatever is just before those particular updates is where I am.

You can restore as you desired, your data from said date, but it will also install OS4. It automatically updates with the most recent OS. I don't think you can avoid installing OS4 when you perform a restore. Since you haven't installed iTunes 9.2, maybe you can avoid installing OS4, but I can't be sure.

you can try cell concept for the same,
create a keyfigure with the same name as that of row and assigned its value zero . Than go to cell in the view tab and in the cell tab of the new KF you have just created right click on it click on New Selection and give all the restrictions and you can also add that keyfigure that was used in column.

JTable problem when deleting all rows and reinserting data,

I have a JTable with an AbstractModelTable.
Some cells in the JTable have a custom cell editor. I am using
the cell editor that accepts only numeric values as explained in
the JTable tutorial (WholeNumberField).
- The JTable gets filled by choosing a value from a JList
for example:
1- choose a customer name from the customer JList
2- gets the customer order (database)
3- fills the Jtable with the customer data.
- When a customer is chosen from the Jlist I call a function
inside my table model. (This function removes all rows, clears the vector holding the data and calls fireTableRowsDeleted (firstRow, lastRow));
- Then I fill up the new data for this customer.
All of this works fine, except if I have entered a new value inside
one of the cell that has a customed cellEditor (ex: the Ordered column).
for example : user enters number 20 in the "ordered" column for customer A. Then changes his mind and chooses customer B from the JList. So the JTable gets cleared and refilled with the data of Customer B but the column "ordered" still has the value '20'

Don't know is this will work, but try the following before updating the table:
if (table.isEditing())
table.removeEditor();Also, why do two TableModelEvent's..one for all getting deleted, one for the new filling. You could do one fireTableDataChanged after the new data is in.

Ad Hoc Query - reporting on both PA and OM data in same query.

Is it really not possible to report on both PA and OM in the same query? Does the two different infosets prevent you from doing this?
As a workaround I can run two separate queries and just join the data using Excel. However - I'm having some trouble using the OM infoset. I have a list of job ID's and I'm trying to report on the job short text and the "duty code" which is a custom OM object. Is there a way to add this custom object to the infoset?
Also, I'm finding it difficult to report on the relationships as "Object" is always listed as an output ONLY. Is there a way to make it available as an input?

If you are using logical database PNP, then you can try to add infotype and check the option 'Infotype of related objects' .
This will allow you various HRP tables to add to your query by the relationship.
If you check responsiblity you can use relationship B007 and selecting 1000 would give you the short text and long text of the ID.
This is a very good option available for PNP database.

HT1766 How do I restore just one app and its data to a new device without overwriting what is already on the device?

I have an iphone and a New ipad. When I set up my ipad, I had already had my iphone backed up on iCloud. I didn't however, use the backup to set up the iPad, so some of the apps don't have the same data on both devices. This is mostly fine with me. I was able to sync my games so that I can play the games on both devices and not lose any data or progress in the game. There is only one game that I haven't been able to get onto the ipad with the progress that I have made, even though it's been backed up on the iCloud. Now both devices are being backed up on the iCloud. Some information is shared between them, some not. I have no idea why it's arbitrary which info is shared. But I would like to get the one game (and perhaps a few other apps) to sync between the devices. Is there a way to do this by targeting specific apps and their respective data?

The game that we are playing is called Swordigo ... A Zelda type game just FYI. When I installed the app I went into the Settings>Swordigo>sync saves to iCloud>On. That set it up to sync up to three different saves in iCloud because that is what this game offers.
Then my daughter downloaded the app to her iPad ( the original one that I gave her when I upgraded to the new one). We share an Apple ID for purchases.
When either of us launches the game on our iPads - the option to start from either save is already available in the game. The game supports this. Not all games will support it but you make it sound like your game does sync saves to iCloud.
There is a difference between saving data to iCloud and syncing game saves. The beauty of the syncing of saves is that I could download this game to my iPod touch as well and still pick up my "saved" game from iCloud,

             The control would be something like this for navigation in Get_p_xxx method u mention as link and u mention a event name which gets triggered on the click of this hyperlink. So your GET_P_XXX method would have the following code:
CASE iv_property.
    WHEN if_bsp_wd_model_setter_getter=>fp_fieldtype.
      rv_value = cl_bsp_dlc_view_descriptor=>field_type_event_link.
    WHEN if_bsp_wd_model_setter_getter=>fp_onclick.

Now you have to create a method as EH_ONEXAMPLE at your IMPL class and within which you would give an outbound plug method. Within the outbound plug the target data would be filled in the collection and window outbound plug would be triggered.
This is a huge topic and i have just mentioned you basic things.

Sections and its data elements

Hello experts,
Finally we have began to work in AdminConsole... step by step I have been familiarized with the application and its funtions, but right now I have a doubt:
I will try to explain myself the best I can:
1.- How could I know which "data element" is used in a section/element/object? I mean: In the Detail Designer - Top Level Details, there are a list of Top Level, as you knows, there are a several elements (row table, detail header, sections...), so, when I edit a element or object using "+" button, a contextual menu is displayed with the sections and other objetcs. I would like to know which "data element" is used by these section.. There is any doc with the section and their "data elements"?

I recommend that you hover over a section to get the name of the detail and then trace back to the data element from the configuration file. In the detail configuration (e.g. PositionChartDetails in ../root/XML/AppResources/detailconfiguration) will be a tag called configuration that contains the name of the detail data configuration (e.g. PositionChartDetailsData). Open the detail data configuration (in the folder detaildataconfiguration in AppResources) and you will see the data element listed there (which will be in dataelementconfiguration).

Pivoting table results so YearIDs become columns with all other data underneath them

The table above has all the data I need for my report, however, I need to pivot the table so that each YearID (based upon corresponding fkYear) is a separate column and the rest of the data in each row appears under the appropriate Year ID. I'm trying
to pivot the table but I'm stuck on exactly how to do it.

The error I am getting now is where I attempt to define the Proposed and Current column headings using a select statement to get the right YearID for the right year. I get a red line under Proposed and Current in the main query above the PIVOT expression
