Suppress -signed on a Signed Document

Whenever, I sign a document, then go to save it, it always has the document name with '-signed' at the end of it.  Is there a way to always suppress the '-signed' addition?

Adobe is closed until the new year, so the immediate answer is no. If you want the behavior changed you can ask here:

Adobe will look at your request next year. If you can get a thousand of your closest friends to put in additional requests it might get changed in the next version or two. There are good reasons for Adobe to have made the change that you do not like. It prevents accidental overwrites of original files, which caused issues greater than the inconvenience of changing the name of the file.

    I believe the free Acrobat reader (9) will do that.
    Otherwise you'll need the Pro version.

    Unfortunately, if you are using Safari on the iPad, you can't post a screen shot. You can with other browsers that will identify as a desktop browser, but not with Safari. Safari is so limited on the iPad and ironically, it is the worst browser that you can use on the Apple Support Communities help forum.
    You can post a link to the screen shot if you use Photo Bucket or any cloud based photo site. In any event, if you don't see it in the More Tab, I don't know that the screen shot would help. It certainly wouldn't hurt though.
    Are you sure that you selected the book to sync in iTunes?

    Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
    * "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
    * "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
    You may have to create an Allow cookie exception for that server.
    * Tools > Page Info > Permissions

  • I have to sign out and sign back in EVERY time on my new computer

    I had the brilliant idea of using iTunes match and cloud to transfer my library from one computer to another, but my new computer does not want to stay signed in.  Everytime I open iTunes it asks me to sign in to check for downloads.  My old computer I did not need to do that, it just did on its own.  When I go to download songs from the cloud, they are there, but greyed out.  The only way I can get them active is to sign out, sign back in, turn on match, register the machine (AGAIN) and then they area active.  I don't get it.  No error messages, just not working.
    Anybody know how I can keep everything active?

    I found an answer after digging through other threads on this:
    Okay, I got mine working, I think...no more lightning bolt through my iTunes Match icon on the Music folder (under library), and now I can update my Match library without issue.  Now, I'm not sure exactly what step made it work but, most of all, for Windows 7 users, run iTunes with elevated privileges (which I think is the real trick):
    Launch iTunes as an admin (right click on your iTunes icon and click "Run as administrator."
    When iTunes loads, sign out, then sign back in.
    a) At this point, upon signing back in, my Match icon was gone from the Music folder, and it was looking for me to turn on Match again.
    De-authorize the computer, then authorize again.
    Now turn Match back on (the process seems like a quick check, and did not take as long as the first Match scan).
    After iTunes Match is complete again, I was able to close iTunes open again with "Run as administrator," and my match was all good.
    Close iTunes and reopen without "Run as administrator" and it's still good, updates Match with no issues.
    Now, you might be able to skip 5 and just run without elevated privileges, but I figured just in case iTunes needed to write to a protected folder one last time upon launch.  Hope this helps any Windows users out there, not sure if the Mac OS users having issues have something similar to elevated permissions when running an app, but I would try that.

    I purchased itunes match the other evening and i am unable to add my computer, i am using a macbook pro with os lion.
    When ever i try and add it tells me to sign out then sign in. This continues to happen and i am yet to be able to add the computer.
    I have searched for resolutions but none work i have been through every thread. I have even emailed the support team who dont seem to pick up their emails.
    Does anyone have any idea on how to resolve this?

    I was logged into iTunes when i purchsed iTunes Match. It then took me to a page requesting that I add my computer. I click the blue button saying add my computer. It then prompted me to enter my password. Once i entered this it told me to sign out then sign back in. Once I followed the instructions it repeats the same error message over and over again. I always stay logged in to iTunes, the only reason I logged out was due to the apple message telling me to.
    I hope this gives a clearer view why. Thanks in advance for any help
