Suppress trust the site dialog

when I import the xfdf file from a shared file store using importanxfdf javascript method, it is asking to trust the site from where I am downloading the xfdf file and gives options Help, Allow & Block. Is there a way to supress this dialog ?

Thanks folks, I got the idea and saw also the Definition
Dialog.
I think I know why I dont see any green folder, or anything
like that.
Dreamweaver must be saving the info about the site on the
Windows Registry
or on the Application Data folder, both on the C: Driver.
Since the Disk Protection is always on, when you re-boot the
pc
everything is back to the way it was before. ( No website
defined )
But can re-define again I believe. Thanks

  • I have received a malaware warning on a site that I have paid to join,  because of this warning I don't feel confident to access the site any longer.  How can I see if the site is safe/protect my pc?

    If a malware warning comes up on a site I reguarly use and subscribe to how can I protect my pc and still access the site or contact the site holder to get the problem rectified?
    There was a link to google web checker and they said that they hadn't been on the site for over 90 days and they did not see any threats however, the malware warning keeps coming up when I try to access the site.

    At present there are no known remote exploits against a fully-updated installation of OS X 10.6 or later. Make sure Java (not JavaScript) is disabled in your browser, and don't trust the site with any personal information. Don't open any files downloaded from it.

    I have on my screen a "Trust Certificate" notifying me that my email site has an expired  trust certificate. I trust the site but cannot get rid of the notification certificate even if i check " I trust that site". I cannot access my mail nor can I reboot my commuter until the  trust certificate goes away.

    Launch Safari with the Shift key held down. If that doesn’t work, disconnect the computer from the Internet.

  • On a propritary web site I use, I get an error trying to upload a document; in IE I can solve this by adding the site to the list of trusted sites, how do I handle it in Firefox?

    The error message is
    Server Error in '/' Application.
    StartIndex cannot be less than zero. Parameter name: startIndex
    I can avoid the message in IE by adding the site to the list of trusted sites.
    How do I accomplish the same thing in Firefox?

    First, you should be receiving email notifications of any reply; you haven't because there haven't been any. Second, should you be able to access that website? Have you done it before? Occasionally, I've gotten a similar message from websites I frequent but trying later will often clear the problem. Other times, I've gone to websites I really don't have permission to access and the website knows it. Also, you might try another browser, such as Firefox or Opera.
    Finally, if you mean the Birchmere Music Hall, I get the same error message, and if Ticketmaster needs to access that website for ticket and event dates, it can't get through either. I'd suggest waiting for whomever handles the Birchmere website to fix it, or call them on the phone.
    BTW, it's not a good idea to put your email address out for all to see. If you can still edit the post, delete it.

  • I failed to Confirm Security Exception for a site confirmed to be trusted, but apparently only supported by Internet Explorer, and am now barred from the site, so how do I access it?

    I have been successfully accessing a secure site using a Citrix plugin. The security certificate for the site was renewed on 17 September and is valid, but is apparently supported by Explorer. When I accessed it today, Firefox reported it as Insecure. I attempted to bypass the Firefox block, but must have failed to Confirm Security Exception, so that my access is now denied as I 'have said this is not a trusted site' (error 183). Is there any way I can now access the site.

    Thank you for your reply.
    My problem isn't removing my log-in name and password for a site.
    The problem is I already had the log-in name and password saved by FF, but I was required by the site to change the password. FF did not recognize that it had changed and refuses to prompt me to save the new password.
    After several attempts to force the prompt, I deleted the site from the Saved Password list, hoping that the next time I entered my log-in name and password on that site FF would ask if I wanted to save both. That did not happen even after exiting FF and relaunching it.
    So, right now FF will not save my log-in name and password for a site that it used track for me. Given the complexity of the new password, I really do not want to manually enter it every time I use the site.
    Regards.

  • How to suppress the Print Dialog Box?

    Running an (ASP.NET /Crystal Reports 2008) application and using CrystalReportViewer control. Is there way to suppress the print dialog box when I click the print icon on the report tool bar?
    Edited by: juRamz on Aug 26, 2009 2:54 PM

    Hello,
    Sort of, CR needs the info. Only option is to create your own print button that has all the info filled in. It's a Windows Framework Common dialog box that CR calls so it's the OS that is prompting for the info.
    Using ReportClientDoc here's a possible solution, note that this too has a dialog box to select the printer:
    private void button1_Click(object sender, System.EventArgs e) // Print To Printer button
        System.Drawing.Printing.PrintDocument pDoc = new System.Drawing.Printing.PrintDocument();
        PrintReportOptions rasPROpts = new CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.Controllers.PrintReportOptionsClass();
        CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.ReportDefModel.PrintOptions newOpts = new PrintOptionsClass();
        //CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.PrintOptions newOpts = new PrintOptionsClass();
        pDoc.PrinterSettings.PrinterName = cboCurrentPrinters.Text;
        rasPROpts.PrinterName = cboCurrentPrinters.Text;
        rasPROpts.PaperSize = (CrPaperSizeEnum)
            pDoc.PrinterSettings.PaperSizes[cboCurrentPaperSizes.SelectedIndex].Kind;
        rasPROpts.PaperSource = (CrPaperSourceEnum)
            pDoc.PrinterSettings.PaperSources[cboDefaultPaperTrays.SelectedIndex].Kind;
        // new API added to allow changing printing options
        newOpts = new CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.ReportDefModel.PrintOptions();
        newOpts.DissociatePageSizeAndPrinterPaperSize = true;
        rptClientDoc.PrintOutputController.ModifyPageMargins(0, 0, 0, 0);
        rptClientDoc.PrintOutputController.PrintReport(rasPROpts);
        MessageBox.Show("Printing report.", "RAS", MessageBoxButtons.OK,MessageBoxIcon.Information );
    Thank you

  • A previously trusted site is now telling me that the I cannot connect to the site becuase it is untrusted. Is this a hacker? what is going on?

    I work for Chacha and I cannot access my payment or log in to the "Universe" as they call it to do my job. It tells me the site connection is not trusted because it was signed by an unknown source. It worked about a week ago but Friday it stopped. The message says if it is a site that previously worked it may be a hacker.
    == URL of affected sites ==
    https://universe.chacha.com/

    There is a problem with the certificate on that web page.
    From http://www.networking4all.com/en/support/tools/site+check/
    ''Error while checking the SSL Certificate!!''
    If you no longer have that missing intermediate GoDaddy certificate on your computer then you will get the untrusted error message.
    Try to visit this site to make Firefox save that certificate: https://certs.godaddy.com/anonymous/repository.seam

    One small thing - I believe the reason why some of my drivers were messing up was because they were SP2 specific; the older drivers and the ones that were compatible with both SP and 2 were fine.
    As soon as I did the reinstall, all of the drivers/programs that were not working, worked (aside from the ones that I mentioned in my attached email above).
    So, if after uninstalling the old SP2 you are told that loads of drivers/programs will not work, fear not - most should fix themselves upon installing the new SP2.

  • How to remove block from trusted web site. I did the obvious by pasting the web address in the allow content area. What are the other ways

    I am a cityville game player on facebook and for some reason today I am unable to send out blasted on the game when if fact this was never a problem. Finally I went to internet explorer and the same problem happen, but internet explorer let me know that the content was blocked. All I had to do was unblock it and that was easy and know I can blast out. However trying to remove the block from fire fox is a issue. I went into to tools and removed every block and it still want work right. Therefore, how to remove block from trusted web site. I did the obvious by pasting the web address in the allow content area under tools options. What are the other ways

    Thank you for your post.
    I am afraid that the issue is out of support range of VS General Question forum which mainly discusses
    the usage of Visual Studio IDE such as WPF & SL designer, Visual Studio Guidance Automation Toolkit, Developer Documentation and Help System

  • Can't print and only displays the Fax Dialog when trying to print

    HP Office Jet 4500 All in one
    When we setup our new printer it worked fine until now when I try and print any Word, Web, or Picture the Fax Dialog comes up instead to send a fax. I don't recall changing any settings. How can I resolve this?
    There are 2 printer types showing in Printers and Devices. I have tried changing the deault printer, but nothing seems to work.
    HP Office Jetg510g-m &
    HP Office Jetg510g-m fax

    Remember, this is an Apple user to user help site, so few us may be experts with HP printers. OSX automatically installs the right printer software, you really don't have to go to HP to do that. In fact, I trust Apple to get it right more than HP.
    That being said, the very first thing you need to do is to make absolutely certain that the printer is linked into your WiFi network. Again, we're not HP experts here, so you'll have to do that one yourself, by reading the instructions. Once your printer is connected to the network, then go to your iMac's System Preferences>Print&Scan. On the left hand side is a +. Click on that, and it should find your printer, if it your iMac and your HP printer are on the same exact WiFi network.

  • I tried to join an online meeting. Mozilla rejected the site. I added the site to allowed sites through exceptions but it still won't allow site?

    Every attempt to join the online meeting failed. I kept getting a not trusted site message. I could hear the conference call but I could not see the info presentation.

    Sometimes, sites divide their content and login logic over multiple servers. In that case, the sites may not recognize that you have logged in if you block third party cookies. Can you check your cookie settings, as described in this article: [[Websites say cookies are blocked - Unblock them]].
    During your earlier troubleshooting, did you try the site in Firefox's Safe Mode to rule out an extension as the potential culprit? More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
    You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using
    Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled ''(Flash and other plugins still run)''

    Any difference?

    If that helped to solve the problem then you can remove the renamed file cert8.db.old unless you have user certificates that you may want to export first and import them in the new file.<br />
