Surface; 2 skypes not in synch

I have a Surface 3 Pro. I have skype on windows 8.1 and i have desktop skype on the same machine.
I use skype on desktop more often.
When Surface goes for a nap, the nap screen shows a skype icon with the number of unread messages, but I have seen these messages in my desktop Skype. They are just unread in mt skype on windows 8.1.
The 2 applications on the surface are out of synch.

Why did it calculate incorrectly when the asset was disposed off ? Is this a std SAP functioanlity ?
This is dependend of the period control rule in your depreciation key and the asset valued date you used in the disposal.
This is an standard option when you had set up this rule in your depreciation key.
Have a look in your set-up!

Skype not working after upgrade to 6.22.59.107 ver...

Everthing was working fine with my skype until it got updated to new version. I am not able to make any video calls, skype goes into hang, shows Skype not responding. I tried everything, uninstalling & reinstalling several times, but of no use. I am using Windows 7 with , Internet explorer v11 which is exactly as per the requirements in the website. Can anybody help me sort out this issue? I am going crazy since last 2 days after this updates.

Skype has now been updted to version 7.0.0.100 this moring but the same issue , Going to hang & message " skype not responding" & screen get frozen. I have to go to Task manager to end the task.

Audio and Video not in synch?

Hello, I recently bought my Vado HD, on first using it the video and audio are not in synch on the playback. The video runs slower than the video. I am wary to upgrade the firmware because it seems a lot of people on this forum have gotten more problems since they upgraded...
Any ideas why my audio/video synch is off and how I can fix it would be greatly appreciated.

Video on skype not working. Only functioning in facetime and photo booth. Seems to be a common problem amongst users having bought a new macbook air recently. When you go to Preference and click on audio/video item video works but when clicking on another menue and returning to audio/videio picture is gone. Understand has something to do with a recent update von Apple (10.8.5... missing file for 32 bit version).

That can sometimes be caused by a damaged ipod photo cache.
If you remove the current ipod photo cache, does that get you past the error?

[solved] skype not in repos?

Hi, I wanted to test skype in my 64 bit installation (with KDEmod, of course). Searched and found http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Skype. As per the wiki entry, though skype has only 32 bit binary, it can be run in 64 bit environment. In my system, community repo is already enabled. So I did a
sudo pacman -S skype
. But the result was
skype package not found, searching for group...
error: 'skype': not found in sync db
Funny thing is that, I am able to install skype-call-recorder even without installing skype.
What should be done to install skype now?

Ipad will not complete synch in itunes

My iPad (4th gen) will not complete synch in iTunes. It just hangs on the last synch step. Using iOS 8.0.2 and iTunes 11.4 on MacBook Pro with OS X 10.9.5. Would appreciate any recommendations.

When I scroll down and view my AppleID (which I was already logged in) it makes me login again, I do and it says I can't access the iTunes store and that I can only do that in the Portugeuse store, then it wants to redirect me to that store.
Apparently someone set up this Apple ID to only work for Portugal, which is driving us crazy. I cam easily create her another AID to work in the US, but I don't know if this will then conflict with her iCloud storage, which is the "portuguese" one (LOL!)
She has numerous devices (2 iPhones, 1 Airbook, 1 iPad) all in a big mess of a jumble. I'm hoping to make these be able to sync contacts, photos, calendar, music, etc.
Her email is gmail so I can use IMAP for that.
I am now able to swipe across the store - thanks!
Is there a setting in iPad that controls how your scroll/swipe sensitivity to touch is? or is it standard. It seems pretty sensitve (if you accidently touch anything you launch it, etc)

Photos and thumbnails not in synch

I have deleted photos, but their thumbnail still shows up. Also, other deleted photos show up but there is no thumbnail under "Event" for the event.
It seems that deleted photos are not in synch with their thumbnails. is there a way to resynchronize the index file?

download iPhoto Library Manager - http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/ - and use its rebuild command - this creates a totally new library so if you are not happy with it you can just go back to the current one

Skype not notifying (oange flash) for only one con...

I've been having the issue of skype not giving me an orange flashing taskbar notification for only one of my contacts.
Strangely, this does not always happen. Sometimes this contact's messages will in fact make my taskbar flash. Other times it will not. I can add that both the contact and I have our status on "online", furthermore I have checked the following suggestion I found here on the forums but it did not work as it was already properly set to always notify me:
Highlight the contacts name in the Contacts list so you can see the chat window for this contact. Click on the Conversation menu and select Notification settings. Select there the appropriate option for the notifications.
Any ideas? This has really been going on for at least a few months, perhaps a year

Well, that is hard to tell. Like I said the website may have updated their technology. Just because it works with the Desktop, doesn't mean there is not a reason that the laptop might not have a problem. You have 2 different systems and
most likely different configurations.
You may want to check Tools and in the add ons for both, look for Shockwave Flash Object...ActiveX Control..Flash10e.ocx should be installed and enabled.
Also for each check C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash Right click the Flash folder and make sure for IE that the files are vs 10.0.45.2 by checking the properties.
If you have the correct Flash files and the correct SWO then, some other cause would be looked at.
It has been my experience to not "assume", but verify:-)

Items could not be synched

I get this message when I synch my iPhone5 with my MacBook; "* items could not be synched. See iTunes for more information". I cannot see anywhere on iTunes to get that information so cannot tell what is not being synched and why. Any ideas?

What items are not synced to your device? If apps, check the iOS specs for the apps. If music or video data, make sure it can be played on the iPhone:

I understand that you are not able to sync a few songs you purchased from iTunes to your iPhone and other devices. There may be an issue with the file, but if you have the Apple ID and password used to purchase the songs, you can redownload them. You can even download the song directly to your iPhone. I found an article that will give you steps to do this on your computer and on your iPhone:
