Surface Microsoft Tablet and Photoshop products

Hi! I wonder if my Photoshop Elements 10 and Premiere Elements 10 will work with the new Microsoft Tablet?

The Surface is quite new, it seems to be neither a tablet or a laptop.
As such I don’t know much about Windows RT other than it comes pre-installed on devices.
Generally you can't run desktop applications. You need different software for tablets which run on their own operation systems e.g. Android from Google, or iOS for the iPad.
Tablet apps from Adobe include the consumer package Photoshop Express or the more professional Photoshop touch.

Lion does not support PowerPC coded applications. It sounds like the version you have are too old and were coded for PowerPC. Upgrade them.

Wacom Tablets and Standard Productivity Programs.

I am interested in getting a Wacom tablet and I am well aware that for Adobe type products such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash it is very useful. However, I am curious as to if it can do anything just within the OS itself, especially with Safari, Mail and basic System functions; as well as Office for Mac (2004), iLife '08 (especially iWeb) and iWork '08 (especially Keynote). Has anyone tried it out on those programs/suites? Also can it do anything with Bridge?
*Edit: I have Adobe CS3 Premium Design Suite on my system. The line of tablets I am interested in is the Intuos3 line as I do mostly Photoshop work.

I have a Wacom Intuous and for me, I have to say that in Bridge or any non graphics program, it doesn't do anything special for me. If you do a lot of Photoshop work or like to draw, you will find it invaluable. Also the Intuous line comes with a mouse, so if you have the tablet plopped in your lap, you can switch between the pen and a mouse while using the tablet easily.
If you get the Intuous, you may also want to try out the Ink application. When you have your tablet connected, it shows up in system preferences and you need to turn it on to use it. Some of the features it offers are system wide (i.e. you can write text like a palm pilot instead of typing but I would rather type). Ink does offer a couple of useful features though, you can dash off a quick note or a sketch with it.
Again, if you use Photoshop a lot, get the tablet; it's well worth it.

I own my Dreamweaver and Photoshop products. Why am I seeing Trial (dreamweaver cs6) after maverics upgrade? I want nothing to do with CC.

I'm not digging the whole move to monthly fees for software. My old mac died so I went and got a new one.
Now my trusty Illustrator won't run. OK, I'll upgrade. I prefer the box and disk when I buy such an expensive product. Apparently no such Illustrator CS6 physical product exists.
Does Adobe think we can afford monthly payments? I know I can't. Work is hard to come by and If I'm paying adobe monthly when lean times hit ,
well I guess I'm screwed. Where can I buy a physical version of Illustrator CS6?

CS6 perpetual license products are still available for sale from Adobe by download. No boxed products exist anymore.

Wacom tablet and photoshop

I have just got a new Macbook Pro Yosemite. I have Adobe CS6 and everytime I use my Wacom tablet it acts buggy. For instance: Using the eraser tool, if I want to make the eraser larger I hit "]" as a shortcut. This doesn't work unless I click on a mouse first on the background before using the Pen again. This happens for other tools and shortcuts. The Polygonal Lasso tool also only works if there is a very long lag between points using the Wacom Pen.
Is anyone else having this issue? I've tried reinstalling the Wacom drivers and updating the software but it has yet to be effective. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That is a definite yes. It is way more accurate than the mouse is and it provides pressure values that will be important for any brush work. Even Illustrator makes use of them.
There will be a lot of clipping images for the web page so it makes sense to have a precise instrument to do the job.
One last thing, it will help prevent carpal tunnel in your wrist. If you already have it it will provide some relief. If nothing more than a way to alter how you hold your hand for a while.
It will take some time getting use to the tablet, so keep a mouse around, especially at school. Nothing worse than getting frustrated when your under a time crunch. Play with the tablet at home get use to it, when you feel comfortable with it, then try it in school. Just be prepared to use the mouse when your under pressure. Over time that won't be an issue.

If from disc, you'll need to connect an external disc drive via USB to the Surface.

Problem push and hold on a Surface Pro tablet's touch screen

I tried posting this before, but I can't find my origional post so I hope I'm not spamming accidentally.
I have a problem with my program on a Windows 8.1 Surface Pro tablet. I programmed a button to be 'push-and-hold', but when I touch the tablet nothing happens until I release my finger. This briefly controls the button. When I connect a USB mouse to the tablet, it responds normally; when I press the left mouse button: the button in my program goes down until I release the mouse button. I tried about every setting in the Touch section of the Windows control panel without any succes.
Does anyone have a suggestion?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Microsoft home and business 2013 64-bit Product Key not working to activate.

I just bought on ebay india. ( MS office home and business 2013 64-bit) During activation the screen says that there was problem.
Your computer has already installed 64-bit files and 32-bit cannot install. To install 32-bit please delete the files and reinstall.
I went to chat with Microsoft website and they advised to post the issue here. Is there someone who can help me activate the product. I contact the seller, he says I have sent you 64-bit installation cd.

Have you installed any 64-bit Office products before? If yes, please uninstall them using Fix it from Microsoft:

What's,with,the,commas?
If you have a tablet that runs full Windows 8 - not Windows 8 RT, which is limited.
And if you install the full Adobe Reader for Windows, not the special Adobe Reader Touch for Windows 8.
Then you will have the same features as a desktop.
Unless they can't be accessed in touch mode, since it isn't a touch app.

I am trying to locate my serial numbers for the two creative cloud products? Illustrator and Photoshop.

We subscribed to Adobe Creative Cloud last October, purchasing a single copy of Illustrator and Photoshop.
The Web developer we had subsequently left the company, and I removed and re-assigned the products to our new Web developer in the Adobe Creative Cloud admin console and sent the 'welcome' emails to him.
He said the mails weren't sent, so I re-removed and re-added him in the console but although it states the welcome email has been sent, the user is still marked as pending?
James has fried to use the products, both of which show up as trial versions, asking for the serial numbers to be entered to unlock the full products & I don't have any record of them, nor can I find them under the CC profile?
I purchased the software through Softcat and received confirmation emails from Adobe that the products were activated and ready to download.
What have I done wrong?

Could you clarify...what is not opening - Photoshop Elements AND Premiere Elements or just one or the other?
How did you install these programs, from installation files obtained online from Adobe OR from installation disc from a boxed bundled packaging of Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements? Do you have purchased serial numbers or are you dealing with the tryouts?
Please excuse the question, but I do not want to take anything for granted...are you making a distinction between download and install if you are working from installation files obtained onlien from Adobe. In the latter case, after the download, you need to install the program(s) from the Setup.exe that comes with each of the programs.
Please supply more information and then we can decide on the appropriate troubleshooting strategy.
