Seeking User Feedback on Future Direction for WebLogic Server Tools
My apologies for cross-posting, but I wanted to make sure that as many of WebLogic Server Tools users as possible see this blog posting and get a chance to express their opinions.
http://dev2dev.bea.com/blog/kosta/archive/2007/09/seeking_user_feedback_on_futur.htmlHi Dan,
I tried to change the hostname from workstation IP(192.168.1.3) to workstation name(home-mittal). Also, I tried to specify localhost as HostName while configuration in Oracle BPM Server for Weblogic but still I am getting the same issue.
I have tried pinging what u specifed and response was there.
WLST Failed!!!
Please suggest and it is very urgent.
Thanks,

Why do I get feedback on my guitar?
I am using Garageband 09' (version 5.1) with a M-Audio Firewire Solo. Whe I connect the microphone with an XLR cable, it works fine. However, when I connect the acoustic guitat (I'm using the Dean Markey transducer for my pickup), it's not very loud, and when I turn the volume up - both in Garageband and on the Firewire Solo, I am always getting some feedback. I've tried different patch cables but I'm still getting feedback. This is so frustrating. When I play with the recording level in Garageband, it doesn't change. It changes when I adjust the level on the Firewire Solo.
Anyone have suggestions as to how to fix it? The Firewire Solo is old....it's from 2006. So I wonder if that's the problem. But I wonder if I can solve this without needing to buy something new.Use headphones to monitor.

How to get feedback messages for schema creation script created by Tasks- Generate Script
I am using sql server 2008 R2. I created a script file by using Tasks->Generate Scripts. I
selected option so only create statements are generated for all objects – tables, indexes, views, functions etc in the database.
Then when I used this generated script to create objects in another database in SSMS, it created the objects but did
not give me any feed back, i.e., table created, view created etc. I thought my script did not run , but when I refreshed left panel
of SSMS and I can see all created objects.. So question is what is needed to get
feedback when sql statements are run..You need to add the PRINT statements yourself for that. The wizard will not do it for you.

How to attempt production orders and get feedback by using IDocs
Hi,
I'm new new to SAP and R3 respectively mySAP. I need to know how to use IDocs (over file system) to attempt production orders to an extern application and how to get the feedback of the whole orders and single operations.
I found the IDoc-base-type "PPCC2RECORDER01" to send production orders. Is that the right base type for production orders?
(In consideration of compatibility and support me was recommend to avoid the old types OPERA2 and CONF21.)
What IDoc-types do I need to get feedback about a production order and its operations?
I hope someone is understanding my questions is able to help me. Please apologize my broken English.
Thanks!

How do I get feedback on Application in iTune U?
I'm trying to apply for an application to provide content on iTunes U on behalf of the nonprofit I work for. We are an education nonprofit that develops content for and provides professional development to educators. Seems like a good fit for iTunes U. When I applied, I never heard back. When I went to try to apply again, I saw that it said application not approved. It seems like we fit all of the requirements and I see other organizations that do similiar work to ours. Just wondering if anyone has been able to connect with anyone at Apple around the application process and getting feedback on their application?
Thanks!Might try sending an email to [email protected]

How to get feedback to Apple?
I tried using the feedback form but I don't think it works, how else do you get feedback to them? Cheers. What I submitted is below
It seems this feedback form is outdated, there is no iPod (video) model in the selection list, iTunes 5 and 6 aren't listed either and you might want to add 'Playing videos' to the what do you use your ipod for section. Anyway I will get onto my request.
Having used macs for about a year I decided I would get an iPod, and I got a 30gb ipod (video). I have one slight problem with the way in which podcasts are listed. In iTunes 6 when browsing music in the artists column all the podcast artists are grouped together in an artist called 'Podcasts' and this is good since if you subscribe to a podcast with more than one artist you don't want 20 names to be filling up your artists column. However on my iPod it doesn't group them together like on iTunes 6. So my request would be that podcast artists are grouped together on your ipod just like they are in iTunes 6.
I have also found another bug when watching videos. You will need to follow these exact steps to get find the bug.
1) Start watching a widescreen video (like a trailer of some description where black bits appear above and below the image on your iPods screen).
2) Hit menu until you get back to the main ipod menu.
3) Put your iPod to sleep either by holding down play/pause or selecting the sleep option.
4) Wake your ipod
5) Select now playing from the main menu.
*Make sure your ipod isn't connected to a computer/mac or charging while doing the above.
Now when the video continues playing it will actually become fullscreen (e.g. pixelated and the sides will get cut off). I don't think this should happen, shouldn't it stay in widescreen like it was before you paused it.
Hopefully you will get this feedback because this form doesn't look like it gets used much since it's so outdated. I would be grateful if you e-mailed me to say you received, if you don't I will try and get it to you through another method as it would be nice if these issues were sorted out. If you have any further questions then I will be delighted to help.
Keep up your good work,
~JordanPost your question here https://discussions.apple.com/community/developer_forums and someone will provide info and guidance.

Getting feedback from a procedure that doesn't do what I want it to do
Hello all!
I've made a procedure that transfers rows from one table to several others, and deletes the rows from the source table. The problem is that the procedure executes properly, the rows are deleted, but they aren't inserted in the new tables.
How do I get feedback while the procedure executes? Is there an easier way than DBMS_OUTPUT?
Thanks in advance!In Oracle 8.X you can use autonomous transactions.
Write a simple procedure that inserts a message into a debug table. This is then called at various points of your program and will tell you exactly what is going on in realtime, unlike dbms_output which doesn't do anything until the procedure completes. -
How long does it take to get feedback about opening an ibooks account?
I just filled out the application for opening an Ibook account, but would like to know how long does it take to get feedback?
What type of account?
A free book account is fairly strightforward.
A Paid Book account requires that in order to actually sell book, you need to go through the Contracts and Banking section found in iTunes Connect. You will also need a US EIN number to meet Apples requirements.
As with anything submitted to Apple, the time taken to comlplete depends on what it is and how busy they are. -
So at night when I'm talking on my phone I'll have three or four bars but I keep getting feedback through my phone. Its the same noise you hear over the radio or something when you getting a text message. Its a constant noise and the person I'm talking to can hear it when I talk, but I hear it constantly. I've tried removing the sim and resetting it. I reset the network settings just now so maybe that will work. Any other ideas? Its the iphone 3g
They'll help you over here.

Getting feedback when choosing FX for guitar.
I'm getting feedback when choosing FX for guitar. I get this feedback through my headphones and my speakers. Both are hooked up to my audio interface (Alesis Multimix 8 USB). My electric guitar is connected to Input 1 on the Alesis. How can i get rid of this feedback?
You have the input of the alesis bussed to the output this is what a mixer does, this is good for zero latency monitoring. If you don't want this just turn off the input to main or countrol room whatever you you using. To monitor from garageband you just need firewire to countrol room or main.

How to get transacted session in direct mode with jmsra adapter
Hi,
I use MQ 4.4u1 release with GF in EMBEDDED mode. I configured several connection factories with NoTransaction/LocalTransaction/XATransaction support. In my app I get a connection factory from JNDI tree, create connection/session/producer and send several messages to queue. Everything works fine when I don't use transactions. But, when I want to send messages in one transaction, the connection always provided to me non-transacted session. The session created via
Session session = connection.createSession(true, Session.SESSION_TRANSACTED);
request. I check the session transacted state and acknowledge mode right after i get it:
log.fine("Session: " + session + "; transacted: " + session.getTransacted() + "; ackMode: " + session.getAcknowledgeMode());
The log shows me that the session is not transacted and ackMode is 0 (DUPS_OK_ACKNOWLEDGE). If I try to commit the session after messages were sent I get the correct exception:
javax.jms.IllegalStateException: MQJMSRA_DS4001: commit():Illegal for a non-transacted Session:sessionId=3361979872663370240
Does anyone know how to get transactional session in direct mode?
Thanks, Denis.I mentioned LOCAL because I misread your post and thought you were suggesting that LOCAL mode behaved differently.
If you want to send messages in a transaction from within a Servlet then I think you're expected to use a UserTransaction: Here's an example that worked for me:
Connection connection = outboundConnectionFactory.createConnection();
Session session = connection.createSession(true, Session.SESSION_TRANSACTED);
userTransaction.begin();
MessageProducer producer = session.createProducer(outboundQueue);
int numberOfMessages = 10;
for (int i = 0; i<numberOfMessages; i++) {
Message message = session.createTextMessage("Hello world");
producer.send(message);
userTransaction.commit();
connection.close();I obtained the UserTransaction with this resource declaration:
@Resource(name = "java:comp/UserTransaction")
private UserTransaction userTransaction;The EJB spec explicitly states that local transactions aren't supported in EJBs; I haven't found such an explicit statement for Servlets but suspect that JMSRA is taking the same approach.
As for imq.jmsra.direct.disableCM property - this appears to disable connection pooling and from your post changes other behaviour as well. How did you find out about it (other than by examining the code)? As far as I can see this is not a documented feature and is not necessarily tested or supported. -
I am trying to import vcards, they are very simple - a name and contact phone number. No pic, no ancillary information, but I get an error then directed to this completely unhelpful page. The vcards are standard exports from another phone.
Try creating the vCard with the app My Contacts Backup, email it to yourself, then open it on your phone and tap the attachment to import the contacts.
