    Again, easily enough to burn to DVD, but you must setup the project (import, edit, and burn to)
    correctly to get the best results. The information that is needed to setup the a project includes
    a. properties of what you are putting on the Premiere Elements timeline
    b. project preset that you select
    c. editing
    d. burn to details
    When you use a program such as Premiere Elements 11 often you have to set the project preset yourself
    rather than let the project do it for you.
    Please go through the workflow that I posted in post 1 and let us know if you get the same pixelated results when
    you view your DVD-VIDEO on DVD with your player.
    Thank you.

  • Switcher found "You are not connected to the Internet" message confusing

    While demonstrating to my brother - a long-time Windows user - that an iMac solved all the problems with Windows XP that he is constantly complaining about to me, he saw Safari's "You are not connected to the Internet" message when the web server for the page didn't respond very quickly. (There wasn't any network problem, or anything wrong with Safari. MacOS or the iMac.) Clicking the 'Reload current page' button brought the web page up. He was angry, saying that the iMac was clearly connected to the Internet as he'd seen me plug in the network cable! He's using this as one of his reasons that "PCs are superior to Macs"!
    While I think this is probably a bit of "I don't want to admit that I've been wrong" coming from him (his Windows system has been riddled with malware several times, despite him having kept up to date with Windows updates, using the Windows firewall, a broadband router with firewall, and having tried several anti-virus suites!), I must admit that he has a (limited!) point.
    Couldn't the developers cause Safari to display the message "The web page you have requested is not immediately available, still trying - please wait." instead and then, if the web page cannot be displayed after (say) three minutes, and some kind of autromatic diagnostics show that the system still has a network connection, the message "That web page is apparently not available." Only if behind-the-scenes diagnostics show that the Mac has lost its network connection should one ever see the "You are not connected to the Internet" message, in my opinion.
    MacBook 1 etc   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

    I have the same problem; if I leave the computer on long enough (usually asleep overnight), when I wake it up, Safari will present the "You are not connected to the Internet" message for any page, and Mail will display the exclamation-point-in-a-triangle for all accounts that says it's offline. Yes, Software Update also complains of a "network problem."
    Meanwhile, Firefox or SSH sessions via Terminal will work fine, and both network diagnostics and System Preferences claim that the machine is, indeed, connected just fine with an IP lease and everything. This is over a wired Ethernet connection, and, yes, I've tried swapping the cable between the Mac Pro's two jacks.
    I'm a long-time Mac user. I've fixed disk permissions; I've flushed Safari's cache; I've done everything described here. Rebooting always fixes the problem -- but it then recurs when the machine has sat or slept for long enough.
    Since Safari and Mail are both affected, while Firefox and shell connections are not, it seems fairly clear it must be a bug in some part of the OS relating to both those Internet products. It doesn't cripple the machine, but it's definitely inconvenient, which is not what I expect from Apple products.

  • E-mail box message confusion

    I keep getting a message that my mailbox is 90% full, 95% full, 100% full. I have dumped all but 15 emails on my iPhone and am still getting these messages? What am I doing wrong?

    Billlarn,
    Your iPhone's mail is only a copy of the mailbox you have on your email provider's server.
    You can set how often the iPhone removes messages from the server by going into Settings, Mail, your mail account, Advanced, and under the incoming section there is a entry from "Remove from Server".
    Hope this helps,
    Nathan C.

  • Error Message Confusion?

    I created an ABAP that used syntax "MESSAGE e007". Naturally the message is in a message class. When I scheduled the job in batch, each time it hits this the status is cancelled(red).
    However, when I change the message syntax to "MESSAGE w007" or "MESSAGE s007". It is still a red status.I need it to go to green in this condition. Why is it still red result when I changed to s007 or w007 in place of e007?
                     Thank-You.

    Hi,
    you can ignore this messages when u run in batch if it  sounds good with u .
    if sy-batch  <> ' '. " Just for on-line
        give message
    endif.

  • Message type to be defined plantwise

    Hi,
    We have defined a message type to post PO from MM to SRM(SUS).The message type currently is vendorwise , we need to make it plantwise.
    Please advise.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Manu

    Can you use addition DISPLAY LIKE dtype. Dtype is "A", "E", "I", "S" or "W" in upper-case letters.
    If you use another letter the message don't show the icon.
    Example:
    Message I305 DISPLAY LIKE 'N'.
    The message is without icon but when display show the letter N like this:
    N:Message
    Regards
    Angelo.

  • Can I supress error messages generated by the Directory / File Info VI

    I use the Directory / File Info to determine if a file exists.  If the file size returns a zero I create the file and write the header.  This ran fine in LabView Ver 6.1.  In Ver 7.1 It returns a LabView general error message (File Not found).  Everything else works fine except the error message confuses our operators.  Does anybody have a different way to determine if a file exists within LabView that will not generate an error?

    agood wrote:

    OK, this is incorrect, because a file can exist and be of size zero at the same time! As mentioned above, you should use the error output. If there is no error, the file exists. If there is an error, the File/folder does not exist.

  • How to stop attribute level validation when entity validator fails?

    Hi,
    Can you suggest any way to achieve the desired behaviour on the following scenario.
    Table contains the following columns
    1. Grade
    2. Grade Rate
    3. Status
    Constraints:
    1. Grade and Grade Rate together must be unique.
    2. Grade and Grade Rate are mandatory fields.
    Implementation:
    1. Have Mandatory validator at attribute level for Grade and Grade Rate by default.
    2. Alternate key is defined based on Grade and Grade Rate and added the same as Entity validator.
    User operation scenario:
    User adds a row in a table, entered 'GradeOne' as Grade, tabbed out and then entered '5 %' as Grade Rate (Existing row of the VO has a row with similar data already). When user try to navigate to other row, both validation at attribute level and entity level fires and gives the following error messages.
    Error Msg 1. Grade and GradeRate should be unique.
    Error Msg 2. Attribute GradeRate is required.
    Expected behaviour:
    I can understand the reason why ADF throws both the errors (coz it didn't consider the invalid value of GradeRate posted into attribute), but the error messages confuses the user. It would be great if he get only one error message in this scenario (i.e. Unique validation alone)
    Question:
    How can I restrict in such a way that only one error validation happens in a request (i.e. either attribute level or entity level or in a particular order}
    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi,
    the reason ADF does this is for performance. What if you create a custom error handler in the DataBindings.cpx file and use this to suppress all other errors?

        RAISE_APPLICATION_ERROR(-20906,gv_process_name||' failed'||gv_err_msg);
              dbms_output.put_line('XML_EXPORT failed (xml results are NULL) executing '||p_sql);
              raise_application_error(-20906,'XML_EXPORT (xml results are NULL) failed executing '||p_sql);
        else
        gv_err_msg := substr(sqlerrm,1,2000);
        DBMS_OUTPUT.put_line(gv_process_name||' failed '||gv_err_msg);
          dbms_output.put_line('XML_EXPORT failed (others exception) executing '||p_sql);
          DBMS_OUTPUT.put_line('Export Directory is: '||p_dir||'/'||p_fileName);
          raise_application_error(-20906,'XML_EXPORT (others exception) failed executing '||p_sql);
    end if;
    I have run the p_sql separately and have no issue. The p_sql is select * from <viewname> where date_id > '20100901' and date_id < '20100930'; (For security reasons I am choosing to leave off specific table/view/column names). I have run this procedure with other date ranges and it works for all the views we are using. I have examined all freeform data (data entered by the user without restriction) and none has a '>' in it during this time period.

    All the column names are valid XML names as this returned for other date ranges (as stated). The oracle version is 11G. This code is encapsulated in a function with the following signature:
    PROCEDURE sql_to_xml(p_sql IN VARCHAR2, p_fileName IN VARCHAR2, p_dir IN VARCHAR2, p_xml_created OUT VARCHAR2)
    To test, I have been calling the package with the sql as I indicated originally, a filename, the unix directory to write to, and a global out variable. Again, as I originally stated, this has been run successfully for other date ranges for the same table, but only fails in a specific range.
    As for the issue with the line number it isn't a copy paste error at all. My total code for this package has 84 lines (including comments etc) (i removed function signature when quoting the code above). The line error message confused me as well, which was part of what I hoped someone else who had done XML exporting would know of. My assumption was that the line number was the line of the XML file, not the code. However because it fails it won't create the XML server onto the directory so I cannot view it and see easily where it breaks.
    You are correct that line 52 makes 54 and 55 useless. I think that was a relic of a previous version and I forgot to remove 52. I did so and will see if the below error is raised.
    I forgot to state that the DBMS_OUTPUT does show XML3 indicating that either XML_RESULT is null or that it breaks at line 19 (because DBMS_OUTPUT never prints XML4). Because you caught the issue with line 52-55, that may be why the null error never was being raised. I am rerunning to verify that xml_result is not null (ie: the null exception raised from the if on line 49 does not trigger).

  • Re Initialisation for 0CRM_SRV_IbASE_ATTR

    Hi Gurus,
    I have tried doing re init for the 0CRM_SRV_IbASE_ATTR but I have got error says delete the init request. But I deleted the init from the shedule in the infopackage and no data in the Datatarget as well.
    Please help me out from this.
    Thanks,
    Sudhi

    Hi,
    hmmm, here are some suggestions to check::
    - Replicate Datasource from Source System (in RSA1).
    - Run RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL for your target system. This should activate all Transfer structures.
    - Check your Infopackage: Is it an INIT package or are you accidentially using a FULL oder DELTA package ?
    - An INIT Infopackage should usually not be part of a process chain. So your error message confuses me a bit. Or did you create a special process chain for just initializing the deltas ?
    If you had run an INIT package goto rsa7 and remove the Queue again. Than use the infopackage to INIT but this time without data. If this is successfull. You can delete this init an try again with an init with data. If this isn't successfull I would start searching the problem in the source system.
    BTW, from your descriptions I assume you are in BW 3.5. Am I correct ?
    Kind regards,
    Jürgen

  • WCS 4.1.91 Guest User creation error

    When I try to add a guest user using my LobbyAmbassador operator account, I consistently get an error stating "End date can not be older than start date".
    The user is a limited life time, and we are trying to set end time using calendar, setting life to 48 hours basically. Just this week I upgraded to WCS4.1.91 and WLC4400's wo 4.1.185.0.
    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi Darcy,
    It looks like you are hitting this bug;
    CSCsi79726 Bug
    Creating scheduled user - message confusing -end date
    Symptom:Cannot create scheduled guest users with the lobby ambassador because of error "the end date cannot be older than the start date"
    Conditions:version 4.1.83.0
    Workaround:Upgrade to version 4.1.91.0
    Further Problem Description:The creation is failing because
    of the difference between the server and the client times. Initially user UI's
    are populated by considering server times and user selections are evaluated
    against client timings. The lifetime calculated is invalid because of
    difference between client and the server timings.
    It looks like WCS 4.1.91 was supposed to fix this issue, so if it is still happening you should really open a TAC case :(
    Hope this helps!

  • MOUNTAIN LION, MBP RETINA : Time machine keeps saying to improve reliability, TM must create a new backup for you

    Hello
    I have a little network with 2 x Macpro, 1 x Macbook pro Retina, 1 x Mac Mini server and one DiskStation.
    I have no problem to backup the two Macpro and the Macmini on the Diskstation
    But I only have problem with my  Macbook pro Retina.
    I was told to start the 1st backup using Ethernet
    After a few complemantary backup in WIFI I get the message :
    I have done this MANY times
    I have tried to repair the Backup file
    THE PROBLEM IS ONLY WITH THE MACBOOK PRO RETINA IN MOUNTAIN LION
    I had Apple support, answer : "no support because you are using a disk station" (I have used this diskstation since many years without ANY problem)
    Looks like it is a WIFI problem !!!!
    Thanks in advance for your help
    Best

    Yes. See #C13 in [Time Machine - Troubleshooting|http://web.me.com/pondini/Time_Machine/Troubleshooting.html] (or use the link in *User Tips* at the top of this forum).
    My Time Machine drive is a 500GB drive connected to an Airport Extreme via USB.
    I hate to have to tell you this, but backing-up that way is "iffy" and +*not supported by Apple.+* See [Using Time Machine with an Airport Extreme Air Disk|http://web.me.com/pondini/Time_Machine/Airport.html] (or use the link in *User Tips* at the top of this forum).
    You really should find a more reliable way to back up. See #2 in [Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions|http://web.me.com/pondini/Time_Machine/FAQ.html] (or use the link in *User Tips* at the top of this forum) for your options.
    I find this message confusing. Why must TM create a new backup?
    As in the first link above, because they're damaged beyond Disk Utility's ability to repair them. Exactly what that is, we mere mortals don't know. It's only on network backups, and even folks using Time Capsules see this occasionally.
