Svg files are not visible in Adobe Edge

I am able to see where my svg files are, and am able to animate and size them. However, I can only see the outline of the file, not the actual image.
When I preview this in my browser, everything is visible and there are no problems.
How do I see my svg files?

Can you pl share your composition to let us know how the SVG is being used or can you give more details like your animate version, machine details and specify exactly how it is being used, such as whether the svg does not render only when used within the symbols etc?.

After downloading a file, the downloads window pops up, but is always empty. the downloaded files are not visible.

Uploaded files are not visible

I have uploaded numerous mp4 tutorial files I use on a regular basis, and they are not visible (I did not hide files). They were not visible at all after their upload. I initially thought there was an error were issue with the upload, but when I went to upload a single file once that is complete I was told in a dialog box is a duplicate file name. The duplicate file is visible; however, the original upload file is not.

Some files are not visible on external drive

i have recently upgraded my laptop to Mac osx mountain lion, and inorder to have write access to NTFS drives i use paragon NTFS for Mac software which was working well with OSX Lion. After i have installed OSX mountain lion i can only see the files which were created using this Mac book from the time it is purchased and all order files are not being shown on the external NTFS hard drive. is this because of any bug in the new OSX?? kindly help.

Captivate 5.5 published files are not visible in Fire Fox or open in new window.

When I publish and post Captivate 5.5, the HTML or the swf files do not display in Fire Fox (latest version) without forcing the file to open in a new window (if it displays at all). If it does work, the Flash security blocks the swf on an ugly view until the user clicks.
I thought it was because I have to assign a direct URL to each component, but all of the other Captivate sites I have reviewed have the same issue when viewing in Fire Fox.
IE will display after the active x is authorized (I can live with that).
You Tube and other Flash display properly in Fire Fox, just not Captivate products.
I have disabled off all plugins, modified the protected settings, and everything I could find listed in the Fire Fox help. I have installed a previous version of Flash and Shockwave Player. Short of reinstalling windows, it is not working and that will not help because the published content is not visible on any other machine in the office or at home.
The files are in a Portal, so I cannot share them unless you are in the DoD and have an AKO or DKO account.

I am not sure if it has something to do with the other 2 published xml files that are not directly referenced in the html, but I just need either the swf or html to display in the iframe without forcing another window to display and without a lot of dependecy issues with other add-ons in Fire Fox.

Any of the DAU games, if they display. It is a government site, so they have the standard gov garbage (stuff not working like certificates), but nothing is harmful nor can they do anything to track other than the current session.
It is kind of weird how the content is displayed... It is not an intranet, it goes to a limited access portal. When I store content, it uses an absolute path instead of relative path. Very aggrevating when using many of the tools for non-programmers (like me), and probably more aggrevating for programmers.
Whether I point directly to the .swf or to the generated HTML, the content displays in IE, but not in FF.
It may be a combination of FF and Captivate. FF seems rather flaky in dealing with swf files. There is the consideration for add-ons, but I tried on a newly imaged computer and it still was not working. Even after going through all of the FF steps to get it to work.
Basically we had to create a new HTML file to display the content because the Captivate published files don't work. However, the new HTML does not reference the XML files.
When I publish, I get 5 different files, .swf, .htm, .js, and 2 .xml. When I dig through the code (once again, not a programmer, soo I may be missing something), even round tripping to Flash, I do not see how the .xml files are referenced at all.
These may be different topics, not sure, it came up because I am trying to get a simple solution from the product that can be easily transferred to our production servers and available for Solders to access.

Logs files are not visible through AS Server Console.

Why directories including "file" (like /fileadmin in TYPO3) are not working with Adobe Edge Inspect?

TYPO3 uses a directory named fileadmin where all the user data (e.g. templates) is stored. But as far as i tested yet the word "file" in a folder name is a problem for Edge Inspect. The connected devices didn't react if i choose this folder at my iMac or MacBook. I've got this problem locally (using MAMP 2) and on a standard web server too.
At the moment i have to use a symbolic link (e.g. fadmin -> fileadmin) to use Edge Inspect in my TYPO3 templating workflow.

thanks for the quick answer. So i know it was not my fault.
After finding this bug the solution with a symlink is easy to use, so it's not a critical bug anymore if you can use a workaround like this. But it took me some time to figure this out.

Pc recognizes air disk but files are not visible

i have an airport extreme and an express and after three days of fiddling almost everything is working. but on the pc i can open the air disk. in the info box the pc sees itincorrectly as a phat 32 disk even though it is hfs+. i am able to mount and open it but when it opens there are no files visible. if i plug the drive directly into the pc its all good. through the extreme network - cant see the files.

Mozilla help site instructions often start with locating the Thunderbird profile files. I can see these from within Tbird and with a Terminal command, but not with Finder. Why not? I believe I have message index corruption, but I cannot delete the index file as directed.

When you select Help/Troubleshooting Information and click 'Show Folder', does the profile folder not open in Finder?

Instead of deleting the index msf files, you can rebuild them by right-clicking a folder in TB, Properties, Repair Folder.

MAC Files are not Visible when logged in on Windows

I installed 10.5 with Boot camp and Windows XP successfully on my MAc Mini (1GB RAM).
When i log on to MAC i see the Windows partitoned HDD and its contents however when i log on to windows i cant see the MAC Partitoned HDD in windows explorer.
Does any one know a workaround to this issue?

What you see has always been and is normal. However, if you must, you can buy MacDrive7 - they have a demo - which allows 32-bit versions of Windows to access (r/w) to HFS+ volumes.

Since changing our computer I have been unable to download ebooks to my Reader Library I get a message Some file types associated with EPUB files are not associated with Reader Library; Waterstones suggest that I may have accidentally created a new Adobe

When I try to download them from the Waterstones website I get a message saying:
‘Some file types associated with EPUB files are not associated with Reader Library. Do you want to associate them now? When I reply yes I get another message; ‘Configuration error unable to update EPUB files check network firewall and try again’.
The ‘books’ are saved in the Download directory and I can’t transfer them from there to my E-Reader. I have not had any problems before, it was very simple; I saved the download and it automatically went into the Reader Library.
I contacted HP and they said it is a software error and suggested I contact Waterstones. I contacted Waterstones Customer Support and got the following response:
As the error message is specifically mentioning the firewall it does sound like something in the firewall settings is stopping the download from taking place correctly. However, the files should not be being saved to the Download folder. It would be worth trying again by going to your Digital Order History on your Waterstones.com account and pressing the download button, and then making sure to press "Open" not "Save". When you press Open rather than Save it should give the option to open the file with Adobe Digital Editions. If the firewall message still comes up then I'm afraid something is blocking it on your end.
If the above "Open" download method works but you then still get an error message it could possibly be that you have accidentally created a new Adobe ID when setting up on the new computer, rather than signing in with your old Adobe ID. It would be worth trying the aforementioned download technique again first, but if problems did still persist it would be worth calling Adobe themselves on 0207 365 0735, as they should be able to sort out any account issue.
In response to the first para of Waterstones email I already do what they suggest I do press ‘Open’ not ‘Save’ but I don’t get the open with Adobe Digital Editions (we have installed Adobe Digital Editions on the new computer. Waterstones say we may have ‘accidentally created a new Adobe ID when setting up the new computer’ does that mean that we shouldn’t have installed Adobe Digital Editions on the new computer as it would have already been there? How do I sign in with my old Adobe ID?

Hi all after attampting to get some supoport from adobe by phone.... nice people infurating policys as far as support for digital editions or DRM is conserned... However I got no where with support.
I ended up instaling Digital editions on my desktop PC and going through the motions of registering and borrowing a book then returning it. Then I trying on my iPad, Bluefire worked, Over drive did not so I completely removed Overdrive and reinstalled and re registered. all working now.
Maybe some one at adobe did something. Maybe the install of the adobe DE client on a PC corrected what ever was out of wack with my account. Mayby the server that my account lives on did a scan disk and corrected a bad clustrer.
What ever happend My account is actiove and working again. hope this helps others.
