So we determined the issue is caused by enabling FIPS. We set the 64bit .NET 4.0 machine config to disable FIPS compliant algorithm enforcement and merge check-ins work as expected.
This is a problem.  I assume MD5 (a non FIPS compliant algorithm) is used to compute a hash to determine if a file changed, and according to
Buck Hodges in 2007 if FIPS is enabled the hash values are empty arrays rather than using a FIPS compliant algorithm to determine if the file changed.
I don't want to file a case, but I guess I have to report this bug.  We are using VS 2013 Update 2 and 3 and TFS 2013 RTM.  I would LOVE to know if this issue was already fixed in later versions of the TFS Version Control Client libraries...

    Hi jwellsnh
I am going through "Beginning Oracle App Express 4" Book ... from APRESS
The book seems to be full of typos, and I am also using APEX 4.1
I am pretty much able to handle query errors when they happen at the query writing stage.
This particular error comes at the run stage
The book have you go through "Apex Issue Tracker" Example Application
I change a ticket status from 'open' to 'close' and click Apply Changes
    The error come out there.
So I edit the page to see where the ";" is, there is none.
So, my guess is "ORA-06550: line 1, column 7: PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol ";" when expecting one of the ..." is pointing somewhere in the App and I am trying to figure out where it is pointing to.
I edited the name and change to Mike. Hope it will show up as Mike instead of the number
    Thanks

Hi. I've never seen anything like this, and it seems to be something which
the JDBC module is going to be an innocent victim of, rather than a
contributor to... Your best course is to open an official support case.

  • I have just installed iTunes on my laptop and merged tracks under various artists to form one album but when I sync iTunes to my new ipod the tracks on some of the albums are appearing as single artists..... WHY????  I

I Have just spent the best part of a week installing iTunes on my laptop, transferring over all my music and merging tracks by different artists on one album so that they all show as one album.   I have just plugged in my new ipod classic to sync all my music but the music has gone across in random tracks and split albums.... I really am losing the will to live and am about to throw both iPod and laptop out the window.... So SOMEBODY.... Please HELP.

'The installer has insufficient privileges to modify this file C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support\Web kit.resources\inspector\Images\Spinner Inactive Selected.gif.'
That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.
XP instructions in the following document: How to perform disk error checking in Windows XP
Vista instructions in the following document: Check your hard disk for errors
Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

  • 6i Forms Word 2003 Mail Merge

We have mail merge working from 6i forms with Word 97. We are going to Word 2003, but I am having trouble getting the mail merge to work. The example on Metalink, note 297410.1, seems to be directed at data files in row format. Our data file is in table format. Below is part of our current working code. When it is run in 2003, the merge is not performed. I do not receive any errors. Any suggestions or examples would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  • No sound after merging tracks

    Hi guys,
After I merge all of my tracks on Garage Band for the iPad, the resulting "Merged" track has absolutely no audio.
Not sure what I'm doing wrong...I am selecting all of the tracks before merging.

Just a few trouble shooting tips.
Make sure to play the song before doing the merge to make sure that no mute or solo function is enabled
Check the metering if you can see the signal (output problem?)
Try to merge just a few tracks, not all at once, maybe there is a "troubled track". Not very likely but just to rule it out.
    Hope that helps
