Might have a hardware issue that was caused by the minor liquid spill.
Take it to Apple to have them look at it.  I think they do a free diagnostics.  That way you can find out what's wrong with your MB.
Good luck....Hope you get it sorted out.

    5.In the
WMI Query dialog box, either leave the default namespace (root\CIMv2) or enter another namespace by doing one of the following:
    ◦ In the
Namespace box, type the name of the namespace that you want to use for the WMI query.
    ◦ Click
Browse , select a namespace from the list, and then click
    OK .
6.Type a WMI query in the
Query box, and then click OK .
7.To add more queries, repeat Steps 4 through 6 to add each query.
    8.After adding all queries, click

Very strange, something else running that may be holding onto the UFL in memory?
I know it's extreme but what happens if you re-boot and use the new UFL? Just to verify it's unloaded.

  • Im trying to update my Iphone OS but it says: " you have purchases that have not been transfered to your itunes library". I dont want to lose anything I've purchased, I dont want to cross reference every app and song to see if its in itunes or not. help

II have an iPhone 4. I want to update my iPhone operating system but when I do, it says I have purchases that haven't been transfered to my iTunes library. I sync my phone everytime I plug it in (automatically), so I'm not sure why I'm getting the message. I have updated opertating systems before and lost everything, photos, contacts, music, aps, etc so I've been hesitant to do it this time, but my phone is just too slow and aps keep crashing etc.
Short of going through and manually verifying every app and song ive purchased, how can I figure out what is missing from my library, and begin this update?
    Thx
    Jon

thanks, but the device displays on the top right of the latest version of itunes, and i doesn't allow a right click. You can open it and access the info inside but theres no option to "transfer items" anywhere :-s

  • Have to wait overnight to upgrade to paid version of Premiere from trial

I am in urgent need of the program to finish a project and have been told by Adobe that I will receive a response to my order request within 24 hours (!!!!!). This is absurd. What is there to confirm? Why can't I speak to a person to see what the status of my order (which should be automatic anyway) is? Can anyone tell me why I have to check my email inbox every half hour just to see if I am ALLOWED to purchase a product?!
Really dissatisfied with this whole process...
    Bronte

I did wait until the trail had run out completely, naively thinking that I could just pay them and be good to go.
Now I have gotten an email (a full 24 hours later) confirming my payment. Yet when I log on to the Adobe portal thing it says the payment is still be processed and I still cannot access the program. This is stupid.
My real issue is that I'm given no option to speak to a person from the company about this and instead am instead forced to voice my concerns to you, who Adobe effectively harnesses to diffuse the dissatisfaction of customers like me.
Thanks for the help Ned. But I wish Adobe would understand that we are still in a society where customers prefer getting fast, effective help from somebody with a financial reason to provide assistance, and not tell me that I should have not waited for the trial to run out and that its not Adobe's fault that I have to wait 24 hours before I can download a program...

  • Possible solution for all you that have skipping songs, & scratchy sound

    Hi All,
After upgrading to 7.02, I was extremely annoyed with the performance. But here's what I found and did. In a nutshell, you uninstall the new version and install a 6.05 version or earlier. I'll include some links to what I found and hopefully it'll help. Here's the first link and it describes what you need to do. Scroll down to the post by marlowe5 posted 10-08-2006, 8:06 A.M. and I also included the exact wording from the post below the link.
    http://www.oldapps.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-228.html
    This is the exact wording:
Thanks for the advise in this post... after installing iTunes 7, and then 7.01, my computer was running really slow, iTunes was skiping and garbling and acting terribly... so I really needed to go back to 6.05.
For all of you that need to do the same it's pretty easy:
I downloaded the 6.05 install file from from oldapps, uninstalled 7.01 and then re-installed 6.05. When I ran iTunes it did give me the error message that the library file was created in a new version and couldn't open, but I then deleted the 'itunes library.itl' file (in My Music > iTunes folder) and then replaced it with the backup that was automatically created when I installed 7.01 (in My Music > iTunes > Previous iTunes Libraries). iTunes then started up fine with all my music and playlists. And all the skipping and CPU bogging is better now.
    Library file note:
With the library file, when you update iTunes it also updates the library file, which won't work with older versions. So you need to replace this file or create a new one. I would recommend copying/backing up the new library file to a different location to be safe instead of just deleting it. You'll see above where to find the new library file and prior ones. When I made these changes I did two things to be safe, 1) I moved the new "iTunes library.itl" to a backup location instead of deleting it 2) I moved my most recent old library file from(My Music > iTunes > Previous iTunes Libraries) to (My Music > iTunes folder)and renamed it to "iTunes library.itl". It was previously "iTunes library 2006-1-18.itl." Before renaming it, iTunes didn't find the library so renaming it worked. Your file name will most likely have a different date so don't look for the exact file I mentioned. Plus it's probably a good idea to make a copy or back up this library file too.
If you don't have any previous library files, you may need to create a new one. I don't have the info but I believe the link to the post should have that info.
After reading through the post and other info, the only thing that it appears might be lost are playlists that have been created since the upgrade. I don't believe any music should be lost but that's why it's safer to backup the new library just in case. I did not lose any music.
Also, here's a link to where I found old versions of iTunes:
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_itunes/?1249
Hopefully this helps and good luck. I'm back to normal now.
    Dell Dimension 4550   Windows XP
    Dell Dimension 4550   Windows XP
    Dell Dimension 4550   Windows XP

    Soccerteen,
Make sure you try all the other remedies mentioned in other posts. If this didn't work for you then try below. I consider it a last ditch effort since it's going back to a previous version, which unfortunately works much better than 7.0x for me.
Remove & backup your current library file to a different file/location to be safe. Once you do that, uninstall 7.02, and then install 6.05 or any 6 version. Once 6.0x is installed and you've opened it, you'll need to create a new library file. If you've removed the library file from (My Music > iTunes folder)it should load up with a blank slate. What you to do from this point is create a new library file. Read the oldapps link, the post from "Admin" dated 9-30-2006 5:30 PM should help. Most likely all of your music will be under one main file but you might have to add individual folders one at a time depending on how much music you have. Since I didn't have to go this route, I'm not sure if it's the best route but after reading multiple post, this was the most common suggestion. Worst case scenario, you can always reload 7.02 an reinsert the backup library file, which will put you back where you started.
Hope that works for you and good luck!

  • Query for all computers that do NOT have either the 32-bit or 64-bit version of a product

I've found plenty of people asking how they can create a query that will list all of the computers that have either the 32-bit or 64-bit version of an application. I want to do the opposite.  I want a collection where all of the members do NOT have
the latest versions of an application that comes in both 32-bit and 64-bit.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't a NOT IN sub-select query be the only way to get a list of computers that do NOT have an application installed?  I can create a NOT IN that works with either 32-bit or 64-bit ADD_REMOVE_PROGRAMS, but never both.

Yes, for CM07 you will need to use sub-select. (CM12 you can use "exclude collections").
I think you need to use an OR, between your two sub-select statements, for your requirement.
edit: actually, maybe that should be an AND that you need. How about you try each, and let us know?

I'd beg to differ on both accounts.
*61 series nVidia-based ThinkPads from late January through July of 2008 are a 50/50 shot, since the old chips were mixed with the new ones. Any machine built in August and later can be deemed "safe".
As for the forums (I don't do feebay) there are people who sell genuine, properly-tested planars. However, these do not come at bargain basement prices, and with a good reason if I may add.

    Modified Paths:

According to Bea Customer Support this is the normal behavior. If you kill a durable topic subscriber and reconnect it with the same id to another node, the old subscription is deleted and all messages still waiting to be delivered are gone.
Lesson learned: If you need failover for the server AND client use JMS queues.

    SWFLoader:
Fixed a security violation trying to access untrusted content. The problem happened in doScaleContent() when the loaded content had not been sized yet. The fall back is to check the class type of the content, but the SWFLoader did not have access to the content. The security violation was caught and the FlexLoader size is set when it shouldn't be. The problem is solved by checking access rights before accessing the content and not generating an exception.

    Modified Paths:
    flex/sdk/branches/3.0.x/frameworks/projects/framework/src/mx/controls/SWFLoader.as

Ignoring what is causing the errors for a moment, what would help is a way to get the application loader to restart from the point of error rather than going back to the beginning of the "Loading applications" step each time.
I imagine this to be something of a big ask. Any other suggestions in a similar vein?
