update to how the config files will look in svn.  replacing ${build.number} with 0 in the RSL section so that builder will function properly from src since it doesn't know how to handle ${build.number} whereas the compiler did.

By the way, I agree with sybrand: you need to tune
    your redo log size.

    Ignacio,
The excessive waits on log file parallel write and the related client wait of log file sync may be due to insufficient CPU availability, and may not point at an actual redo log size problem or a problem with the disk speed where the redo is written to disk, especially if there are 3 Oracle instances on the server with a single CPU.
    Paraphrased from "Optimizing Oracle Performance":
The log file sync wait event is one of the first events to show increased latencies due to the time a process spends waiting in a CPU wait queue while processing excessive logical IOs.
Kevin Closson wrote a couple blog entries that examined the potential problems of insufficient CPU capacity and its effects on log file parallel write when writing to solid state disks, and even when writing redo was explicitly disabled:
    http://kevinclosson.wordpress.com/2007/07/21/manly-men-only-use-solid-state-disk-for-redo-logging-lgwr-io-is-simple-but-not-lgwr-processing/
"Once LGWR loses his CPU it may be quite some time until he gets it back. For instance, if LGWR is preempted in the middle of trying to perform a redo buffer flush, there may be several time slices of execution for other processes before LGWR gets back on CPU..." Fix the CPU problem, and the other significant waits may decrease.
    JesusLuvR,
yingkuan's suggestion to look at the SQL statement that performs the 4,365,564 logical IOs, consumes 186.03 CPU seconds, and has an execution time of 225.06 seconds, is likely a very good starting point. You might also want to check the value of the SESSION_CACHED_CURSORS parameter to see if it needs to be adjusted.

The new user helped a little but not enough to make the customer happy. I have done a bunch of research over the weekend and I have found there is a little known bug in Apple's ACLs. ACL stands for Access Control List and I have a snippet from a MacFixit that describes the issue:
"A disappointing aspect of Repair Permissions in Leopard is that it does not deal with ACLs (Access Control Lists), a secondary layer of permissions control laid on top of standard Unix permissions, tentatively introduced in Tiger and actually used for the first time in Leopard. Repair Permissions will announce that it is surprised to discover that a certain folder has an unexpected ACL setting, but it won't do anything about it (in other words, it won't repair that kind of permissions)."
Anyway it appears to me that if your privileges get hosed in a computer upgrade the only way to really fix the problem is copy all of your data to a second HD and then break out the install DVDs that came with the Mac Pro and do a fresh install and set the user/file-sharing up manually and then copy your data back to the Mac Pro. I did not connect back to the G4 to get the data again, I just copied my many years of correspondence back to the Mac Pro and this time everything works?
The new user idea did let me manually drop files onto the Mac Pro from connected computers it WOULD NOT let me save files to the Mac Pro from network computers. I usually got a bad path message when I would try and save from Word or TextEdit. I figured I had wasted enough time on this problem and erasing everything and starting over was a better idea.
    Thanks everybody.

    Hi Steve,
You can bring the GRC framework to a state equivalent to a raw install by following options:
Option 1.) You should have a base-line backup before GRC installation. If so then apply that base-lin backup and deploy GRC components. If there is no base-lin backup, then
Option 2.) Uninstall and re-install J2EE and then follow up with rest of the installation process. If you don't want to go through re-install process, then
    **Correction to Option 3**
Option3.) SAP is in process of creating a SAP Note for Delete script, Instead of delivering Delete Script script via OSS message.  Will update you as soon as the Note gets released.
Please refere to Note # 1416728 to Manage your deletion in RAR 5.3 SP10.
    Hope this helps.

  • How the sales returns will effect after rebate settlement in sap

    Dear SD Experts,
I have a query that the Rebate settlement is done (Material Rebate) after that the sales returns has taken place and again in the credit memo the system is showing the rebate accruals.
Can any one please suggest me how the actual postings will takes place? what changes need to be done to reverse the rebate accrual already posted.
    Thanks in advance.
    Anjan kumar

    Hi Imran
    1. The first entry should ideally happen along with the invoice posting or when you run VBOF.
    Dr. Rebate Discount
    Cr. Rebate Accrual
This means that rebate accruals are happening. This means you are keeping a provision to pay. You are booking a liability in your books.
    2. The second entry is when you pay out to the customer.
    Dr. Rebate Accrual
    Cr. Customer
This means you are reducing the customer balance by adjusting against the liability. Ideally this entry is passed when you do a partial settlement. If a final settlement is executed then the additional accruals if any in the account will get reversed.
    3. While taking returns the entry that you say that is happening is
    Dr. Customer
    Cr. Rebate Accrual
This is also correct since he has returned the good, we ideally should not pass on the benefit to him. Additionally if this is happening that means the rebate is still active. When you finally settle the rebate if there is any balance in the rebate account it will get reversed. This means liability will be reversed in your books of accounts.
    Thanks

Do you get an error message, if yes, what is the message?

  • How to save pictures with the config file "Write Key.vi"

    hi all,
On my front panel I've few controls pictures containing photos (JPG type) . The user can select the photo he wants using the classic file dialog box.
Usally I use the config files VI's to save the control values from one run to another one. In the config files VIs, I use the polymorphic "write Key.vi" wich accept only booean, I32, U32, path, and string dada type, but no picture !
I've tried the "flatten to string" fonction (picture --> flatten to string --> writekey.vi) , no broken wire but the conversion is very very too long and to heavy (20Mo a key!).
another way, would be to write in a xml file, I've also tried but I've always get the 1104 error: No end tag was found for an XML start/end tag pair.
    can someone help me.
what is the best way for  retrieving controls pictures with photos

    Hi GerdW
Many thanks for your quick answer. Always happy to get advises from fellow programmers.
You suggest to use the "path" input of the "write key.vi" (configuration file utilities) to retrieve photos that a user would have selected in a previous run. Could be a good solution in a number of applications but what I would like to do is like in a excel or word file. Once a photo has been embeded in one xls file for ex., I find it back each time i open this xls file, even if the original photo's file has been deleted or if my application runs on another computer.
xml file looks interesting for that purpose (i mean used as config file). I can easily store in a xml file a labview picture (like a colored rectangle e.g.) but when i try with a photo (wich is a also a picture) labview returns always the error 1104.
How to fixe this error, or maybe  there is another way to store photos in a config file without passing through xml,
    kind regards.

what r the conditions they replace as unsealed box?
I brought ipad just 28 days back before this problem arrives...
I got my iPad Air replaced once due to a tiny crack on the back of the device. Apple replaces it with a brand new iPad Air but it doesn't come in a retail box (like the ones they sell at the stores). The replacement is in a brown box (if I remember correctly) with no markings. There's no charger/cable in the box. It's not a refurbished device. It's brand new.

I'm working on a web app based on Sun's App Server 8. I am implementing security using a Jaas LoginModule. I cant figure out how i can specify the config file because if i make the change in the java.security file the server throws all sorts of exceptions....... i'm not sure how i can go about that..

Read the documentation. There are several different files that you can use to specifiy the handler to use for a particular context. One is ${user.home}/.java.login.config
