Sw_uninstaller.exe: what Shockwave versions can it uninstall?

We have a variety of Shockwave versions installed on our many client PC's: 8.x, 10.x, 11.x and 11.5.x. We are planning to uninstall all existing installs of Shockwave and replace them with the newest version.The question is, can sw_uninstaller.exe uninstall any/all of these versions correctly?

iOS 4.2.1 is the latest version of iOS for the 3G.
Facebook and Whatsapp both require 4.3 or higher.
If you want to use those apps, either use the old version that should be in your iTunes library or upgrade the hardware to a 3GS or newer device.

Yes. There is no limit to the number of iPods you can have synced with one iTunes account or library.

No you can sync your content to any number of devices.
Simply, plug new iPod in, configure it to sync with iTunes library however you wish and be on your way.

What if you can't uninstall HP Assistant

I have a HP Envy dv6. I am just out of warrenty and I am having a problem with HP Support Assistant. I have tried to uninstall by the normal way and it comes back with error 1316.A network error has occured and it can not uninstall it.
I tried to see if Revo can uninstall it, but it does not show up on the list as being there. I can't afford to have HP fix it since I don't work right now. So if someone can help me please, I would be very greatful.

I understand that when you tried to remove the HP support assistant you got "1316.A network error has occurred and it can not uninstall it ". Have you tried restarting your computer and retrying the uninstall. You could try removing it with the built in troubleshooter (Windows 8,8.1).
Press the Windows key +C to open charms
Type troubleshoot uninstall HP support Assistant and press enter
Follow the on screen prompts.
You could also try unregistering and reregistering before trying to uninstall. At the run command type,
msiexec /unregister and press enter, this will unregister it.
To reregister type,
msiexec /regserver and press enter
Now try uninstalling HP Support Assistant again.
If that has not resolved the issue, you may try uninstalling after doing a clean boot. Here is a Microsoft document to assist with that process. How to perform a clean boot in Windows. I hope I have helped.

What OS version can I run

I am a new user, just got an old iMac 333 up and running with OS 10.3. Is there any limitations on which updates I can add without compromising this iMac? I only have the original 6GB but have upgraded to 256 MB. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

According to Mactracker, a Rev.D iMac G3 will not run Mac OS X 10.4.x Tiger.
So it will be maximum Panther 10.3.9 (and the latest Security Update).
If I were you, I'd try to use 10.3.8 for a while, with the "non-RSS Safari", see if you are happy with it.
RAM: as much as possible. If you can find a cheap 512 MB solution, go for it!

Can't uninstall SQL Server 2008 R2 Express

Hi all,
I have unfortunately let myself be persuaded (by a company selling a solution to us) to install SQL Server 2008 R2 Express on a Windows 2012 Standard Server.
At first it didn't work, the installation wizard told me to reboot the server - so I did. No change the checklist stopped at the same thing again telling me to reboot first...
Found out that I could install by using this command: SQLEXPR_x64_ENU.exe /SkipRules=RebootRequiredCheck /ACTION=install
Seemed to work, all fine! Rebooted and tried to install SQLManagmentStudio_x64_ENU.exe and got a compability warning saying that the SQL Server 2008 R2 Express is not compatible with Windows 2012 Standard Server.
I thought "Right, uninstall it and then install a new and compatible version" Can't uninstall!!
It stops with this error and nothing happens uninstall wise:

.NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)
Windows Server roles and features cannot be automatically installed or uninstalled via the Windows Feature Control Panel.
To install Windows Server roles and features, start Server Manager, or use the Server Manager cmdlets for Windows PowerShell.
When I look in remove roles and features there's no checkmark in .NET 3.5 Framework and it's also grayed out....

Bad installation of Java Platform Micro Edition SDK 3.0 - Can't uninstall

Hi,
I tried installing the Java Platform Micro Edition SDK 3.0 tonight and it didn't work (I guess the thing doesn't like it when you're running Win7 x64 with the latest JDK for some reason...). Anyways, it installed fine but on first run it got stuck at the nag screen with IOExceptions, etc. and never finished starting. So I decided to uninstall and guess what? I can't uninstall it because it tells me it can't run the uninstaller program since it can't load a win32 dll on a 64-bit machine...
So I resorted to deleting the folder and running a registry cleaner :/ However, so I can properly clean things up, I'd like to know where else the SDK put files or dlls and which ones.

I'm having exact the same problem, but I'm using Vista x64.
I tried to uninstall x64 version of the Java SE SDK and installed the x86 version instead, but it didn't help :/
So could please anyone post a solution to this.
EDIT: actually I at least managed to uninstall it using the SE SDK x86.
But still, is there any way to use Java ME SDK on Vista x64?

Your install log indicates you are facing file permission issues. You can see an example here:

You will want to adjust the file permissions for C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe and C:\Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Adobe. Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try installing iTunes again. Does the install go through properly now?
(If you do find a clean download site for the correct version of CleanUp, please don't tell me where it is. Without wishing to sound paranoid (although I grant it does sound paranoid), there is a non-zero chance that posting links to download locations for the utility here at Discussions leads to that download location being shut down.)

Installed RoboHelp 11 for trial and it overwrote Acrobat 9 pro with broken version of Acrobat 11 which I can't uninstall.

The subject says it all. I installed Robohelp 11 to try it. Without my permission, the installation nuked my perfectly functional Acrobat 9.0 Pro and replaced it with a completely broken of Acrobat 11, which I neither wanted nor needed. I went to control panel to get rid of it so I could re-install Acrobat 9 Pro, and Acrobat 11 doesn't even appear as an application that can be uninstalled. Yes, the installation is that broken. So now I can't work with PDFs at all. I am more than happy to uninstall the trial of Robohelp to get back Acrobat, but I'm not even sure that will fix the issue since the installation program seems so squirrely. Anyone else had this problem. If so, how did you resolve it? Thanks for any help anyone can offer!

Thanks for your reply. As I mentioned in my post, when I went to Control Panel to uninstall Acrobat 11.0, it wasn't listed among currently installed apps. However, after going back and looking through the Installed On dates in Control Panel, I realized that for some reason, it's called Adobe PFD Creation Add-on XI, rather than Acrobat 11.0. Interestingly, the program folder name in Windows Explorer still uses Acrobat 11.0.
Fortunately for me, I always have disc versions of my software. So I was able to re-install Acrobat 9.0 once I got rid of Adobe PDF Creation Add-on XI. I really wish that Adobe made clearer what extras they are installing with these trial versions :-(

What I did; Found my back up of the 10.7 installer. You may have to locate a site on the web to find yours...sorry.
I used W7 unistaller to completely remove 11. I made a back up of the media, music only, folder, this depends on how and where you configured iTunes to store your tunes.
I then simply installed 10.7 then pointed to backed up music folder to read and sort musik back into the itunes folder. I only did that to ensure there no problems when everything back up. Everything good!
Now, many people are have problems with iphones and devices depending on what was synced while in 11, such as cannot sync with older data base and such. Hopefully others can help you if your in that catagory.

I have 3 versions of Photoshop CC and 2 versions of Premiere CC installed on my computer after the last update. Can I uninstall any of them?

After my laptop updated my apps, I now have Photoshop CC (32bit), Photoshop CC (64bit), and Photoshop CC (2014) showing installed on my computer. I also show Premiere CC and Premiere CC (2014). Can I uninstall any of these as they are taking up valuable space on my primary SSD? Please help. This seems silly.

- It's a year+ since the switch to CC; what is the utility in switching your brand's identity to a "SaaS company" if you aren't going to be doing rolling releases? You just didn't want to to package and ship the physical boxes anymore? This is mind-blowing to me. Tell your devs/architects to install some Linux instances (Arch preferably) and see they way they handle package upgrades. If you guys weren't so Linux phobic you might have picked up on how to elegantly do package/app updates.
- Who in Marketing thought "Well ****, if we are going to have a fragmented CC ecosystem might as well just stick the year at the end". If this is going to be your naming convention you should push an update to rename the old CC's (2013).
- Please refresh your Creative Cloud app immediately. As @unconsenting posted before, HD space is luxury and can't be wasted. Why not have a prompt asking if the user wants to uninstall any previous version? Before finding the uninstall file, I glanced through the CC app for a non-existent uninstall button. Ridiculous that I had to open the Applications folder(or sorting through the numerous Adobe uninstall apps that spotlight displays) and run 3 uninstall apps, each a 5 min uninstall, after spending 15 mins running the new update
