Swap the battery module with older M

2 years ago, I bought a MUVO 256Mb. Recently, the clip that holds the battery cover on the battery module broke. I'm using a rubber band to hold the cover on. Can I buy one of the replacement battery modules for the Gb models to use on my 256Mb one? Put another way, are the battery modules uni'versal for the 256Mb, 52Mb and Gb models?

The different memory sizes aren't the question. It's the different models of MuVo that are more important. If you can get a battery module for your model of MuVo then it should be tha same no matter what size the memory of the player is.
Some of the modules are a common size - you would need to check specifically for your model.

Log on into the function module with different user name.

        i log on into the system with my user id suppose 'mukka' and i have to check the authorization of another user say 'you' using the function module "authority_check_tcode". but here i am getting the problem that when i assigned sy-uname to 'you' and execute the function module it is entering into the function module with 'mukka' user name only.
sample code:-
                            sy-uname = p_uname.

Why would you want to check the authorisation of another user and not the one currently logged in? The idea of authorisations is to check the current user is able to perform a certain activity. The majority of fields on SYST are constantly updated to have the correct values (partly so you can't fiddel authorisation checks like this
Maybe if you explain to us what you are trying to do we can offer some other help.

Place the iPod Touch into DFU mode. This will be similer to what the factory would do to install the iOS onto new iOS devices.
Placing it into DFU mode will allow you to "format" and install the current iOS for that device.
To place your iOS device into DFU mode.
First connect you iOS device to you computer.
Open iTunes if not already open
Now turn off your iOS device using the power swipe.
Press the home and sleep button on your iOS device for 10 seconds.
Release the sleep button but carry on holding down the home button. For another 10 seconds.
Your iOS device should now be on DFU. Click on restore and iTunes will download the lastest iOS for your device.
Hopefully that sorts it if not, you will have to go to a sevice centre or call Apple Care up and get them to collect it and repair it. (replace it)

To create a function module, you first need to create a Function Group which will keep all the function module of same functionality.
To create a Function Group, go to SE80->Click on Workbench-Edit Object->Function Group Tab->Enter Function Group name-> Click Create.
To create a Function Module:
Go to T.Code SE37->Enter the Function name->Enter Function Group name n Short Des.-> Here you need to define Import, Export parameters with the condition. Also you can write your code in source code tab.

Multiple channel AI measurement in the same module with synchronised AO

I am using NI -9172 for measurment. I am trying to mesure two AI voltage signals on the same module (NI9215).A sinosoidal analog input voltage is generated using NI 9263. The AI and AO are synchronised using Ai start trigger signal from NI 9263( AO). While I can measure an AI signal using the same module, it does not show any measurement signal when I try to modify the VI program for multiple channel measurment. I don't see any kind of error in the program. ( At least the program does not show any kind of errors) Can anyone please tell me what my problems are? I have attached the VI below.

When you say it is working for one channel do you mean that if you enter either one of the inputs among Magenetic Flux or Strain you can see both the input and the output signals? I noticed that you have two DAQmx Create Virtual Channel VIs. They are connected to each ohter and to the same array. This essentially translates into the signal being shown in one graph. For learning more on using multichannel programming please refer to Multi Device Sunch--Shared External Convert Clock.vi. Hope this helps.

How to load the nvidia module with options?

I'm testing around to find the perfect configuration for my nvdia agp card.
The gentoo wiki told me to active FastWrites and SBA. These are options for the nvidia module, but I don't in which config file the options must written. In Gentoo:
File: /etc/module.d/nvidia
The String "options NVdriver NVreg_EnableAGPSBA=1 NVreg_EnableAGPFW=1"
But in arch there isn't a directory "module.d"

Has anybody figured out how to fix the battery consumption with mountain lion (using a MBP 13")?

I upgraded to Mountain Lion, and yes despite all of the warnings posted in the App Store reviews about the battery life being cut in half, I upgraded my MBP anyway. Chalk this one up to the Black Cloud of "I Told You SO!" My MBP could hold a charge for almost 6.5 hours. Now I'm luck if I can get 3, but in most cases I may get 2.5 hours if I'm conservative.
Has anyone figure out how to fix this battery problem? Even now after having it unplugged for almost 2 hours...I'm getting the "You are now running on reserve battery power" message. What a freaking joke!

Open /Applications/Utilities/Activity Monitor. Click %CPU until the triangle points down beside it. Make sure it says All Processes in the upper right. Check for applications taking up lots of CPU time.

Can I swap the CD-RW with a DVD-ROM from older iMac?

I have two slot loading iMacs.
1)iMac DV spec ed. 400 MHz with DVD-ROM from Oct. 1999
2)iMac spec. ed. 700 MHz with CD-RW from summer 2001
Can I put the DVD-ROM from iMac 1 into iMac 2, i.e. take out the CD-RW from the newer iMac and put in the DVD-ROM from the older iMac ? Or is the DVD-drive too old ?

I don't see any reason this wouldn't work, but I'd have to wonder why you'd want to do this. a CD-RW is much more useful, in my personal opinion, than a DVD player on a computer.
