my photoshop elements THAT I PAID FOR is no longer available on my computer!!!!!!! who stole it? where did it go? why should i buy another one? and how come i cannot find a way to contact adobe??????????????? i am really pissed! i feel totaly mislead.....

You need to calm down and take a sip or two of cold water or soda and then tell us what exactly happened.
1) First tell us what is your operating system;
2) Did you buy the boxed version or was it a downloaded version or some call it digital version;
3) Did you install the product; Please note installing and downloading are two different words in this context.
4) after installing, did you reboot your system?
5) Is your machine protected by up to date anti-virus software?
I hope you can answer these questions without using any of the swear words that you are threatening us about.

If you have failed to make sure that any apps purchased on the iphone were transferred to your computer before updating, then you will have to redownload.
Open itunes store, click Purchased, under Quick Links.

After making this purchase way back in June, I of course can understand you being upset that both activation cards aren’t working for you. I can also see why you don’t want to drive back to this store given it is 45 minutes away.
I do see the purchase. I want to verify this store is actually giving you the correct activation card for the version of Microsoft Office you purchased from us. Could you send me an email to [email protected] with a photo of the activation(s) card you received from this store? Once I get that email I will post back to this thread.

Why was Facebook for HTC Sense re-enabled in 4.4.3 update, and why can it no longer be disabled in app manger?

Many of us who disabled Facebook for HTC Sense in 4.4.2 have been unpleasantly surprised to find the 4.4.3 update has re-enabled that app/service, and unlike with 4.4.2 the box to disable it (in app manager -> all) is now greyed out, and unselectable.
Why was this this app forced upon us? (Yes, we can temporarily force stop it, but that doesn't last long as it can re-enable itself - even before the phone is restarted or rebooted).
If Verizon doesn't want upset m8 customers it should put out an update to the 4.4.3 update that allows us to permanently disable Facebook for HTC Sense once again.

I completely agree. I have ZERO interest in using Facebook and that was the first app I disabled when I bought my phone. I am very disappointed to hear that Facebook is being forced back on us with the new 4.4.3 update. I am not comfortable with rooting yet, or I would do that so I could uninstall this and every other piece of Verizon bloatware that I do not want. It is my phone, right?? I distinctly remember using my money to pay for it! I also don't have a lot of confidence that the instructions on rooting are completely up to date to account for any issues or speed bumps, especially for first-timers like myself.
Interesting also how Verizon's release notes don't mention this "helpful feature."

Why can I no longer access my Thunderbird Address list in Open Office?

I am aware that Open Office has removed the drivers for accessing the Thunderbird Address book.
I have asked that they be reinstated. However, is there any other way to integrate my email address with Open Office? (Not simply .csv export, though that is helpful.) Is there anyway to align to two again? Why has this happened?

Why can I no longer access my external hard drive?

I've been accessing my (powered) external hard drive for several months through my AirPort. It was never formatted for a Mac, since I had purchased it when i was still using a PC. And we still have PCs in the house that I want to be able to have access as well.
When I purchased the AirPort I was told that I could use it as an external drive, so I had moved some files onto it. Then... I was told, NO, don't put files on your AirPort because it could eventually lead to corrupt files in the Time Machine.
Yesterday, I was in the process of removing files from the AirPort and copying them to the external drive. I hit a point where my computer seemed to be thinking too hard and too long. The majority of the file transfers had been fine, but when I went to look at the external drive it appeared to be empty. After a bit of freaking out, we plugged the external drive directly into my Mac book to confirm that the files are still there. I've rebooted the computer, powered down the AirPort, and powered down the external drive to no avail.
While speaking with Apple customer service last night, we reset the AirPort as well. Nothing. I was finally told that my only option was to reformat the external drive. I'm hoping that someone here might have more insight before I jump through moving everything again.

It's quite unusual to find a TV that has a genuine network file server access mode (yours might, though: what model is it?), so the chances are that you have been using twonky DLNA up to now... I'd suggest looking to see if your TV has upgraded its firmware. As for the solution, you might check the 'Navigation Type' selected for your TV under Sharing|Media Receivers on the twonky UI pagepage; this determines the 'views' that are presented to DLNA clients. The version number is right underneath Mac OSX.
