SWETYPV Txn

Hi
I Need some calrifications regarding Activating a Standard workflow , After going through various dcouments I hvae found that Txn SWETYPV is used to activate the standard workflow .
Does it mean that if we make a entry in this table then the standard workflow is activated ?
Now when i execute a standard wrkflow from IMG under the respective module again on the screen it is showing Activate EVENT . IAm little bit confused in this issue .
What i would like to know is how to activate the standard work flow and what exactly the txn SWETYPV does?

Hi Pavan,
I don't have any documents for this. But to activate the workflows through IMG, just xecute the IMG activity. There you will find an option to activate the event linkage.
Or
Go to Transaction SWETYPV, search for the record of that particular workflow and event, check the checkbox "Type event active" and save. If there is no record for tht workflow and event, create new entry.
If the checkbox "Type event type" is checked, means the event linkage is activated and unchecked means deactivated.
I hope this is will clear your confusion.

Hello Developers,
I have a user who always gets txn LM50 to immediately display after every login to SAP instead of getting the SESSION_MANAGER page to display.
After entering the user id and password, transaction screen LM50 displays with message "User xxxx not assigned to any active inventory document". I don't believe this is necessarily a problem with the tcode or as a result of the error causing the message.
Are there any known reasons why a user would be placed directly into a transaction rather than into the initial SESSION_MANAGER page as a result of logging into the system?

I'm not sure if you are looking at the right place.
Ok. Do this. Go to easy access menu and set that as the start transaction.(Browse the menu bar to find the "set start transaction" option)

I've got this error when I try to run my BC4J Application:

Error Message: JBO-28030: Could not insert row into table PCST_TXN, id -1
on this env:
SUN SOLARIS 2.7
OC4J DEV Preview (9.0.2.0.0A)
DB 9i + patchset 9.0.2
The SAME APPLICATION works right when deployed on this env:
W2k
OC4J part of JDEV9iRC2 (9.0.2.0.0)
remote DB 9i + patchset 9.0.2 on SUN SOLARIS
The Application Module is deployed as a Session Bean (BMT),
and I have a jdbc Datasource called jdbc/DeployDBDS.
I have also modified jbo.ejb.txntype from "global" to "local"
because with "global" it doesn't work...
Anyone can help me?

Looks like the different stock types/categories/special stocks are gathered individually. Try function modules in Function group MBBS.

U can try bringing the OACT Name field directly via DB field. if not created new DB Field, hold the Key 'ALT' and choose OACT - G/L Accounts table and select the account name field. make a relate to connection with ur Account code field.

Dear All,
Creating a Quotation in CRM 5.0
While creating an quotation using Txn. CRMD_ORDER or CRMD_BUS2000115, in line itemwise, I need to add an extra page. This page contains additional information about 'Product' table CRMD_PRODUCT_I.
I have added the custom fields in CRMD_PRODUCT_I table and added 'Additional Tab' page using BADI CRM_CUSTOMER_I_BADI and designed the screen as well.
While executing the transaction, the newly added fields are not carrying/holding anyvalues to database.
Please post your thoughts on the same.

ABAP FI: Validation for the Txn Code F-28 & F-29

Hi,
I am looking to issue a Error Message in the Txn Code F-28 & F-29, in case the Document Currency is not same as the Customer Master Sales Area Currency (KNVV-WAERS).
I am trying to achieve this by using SAP FI Validation's but I am only Getting the BKPF & BSEG field for the Validation's and not the KNVV-WAERS.....
How to handle this scenario? Do I need to use VALIDATION Exit here?

Attaching notificaiton to workorder header data in IW32 txn.

Hello,
I am trying to create a header notificaiton for maintenance workorder (PM09). I am able to successfully create a header notification using BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_CREATE. I am also saving the notification and updating the workorder with the header notification using BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN.
The notification is successfully created->saved->shows up in the object list of workorder and visible using IW33 txn. However the Notifctn field on HeaderData tab is still empty (shows a create icon besides the empty field). I am able to create this notification directly via IW32 txn by clicking on the create icon besides the Notifctn field.
Below is the code i am using

Unfortunately SAP forgets to take care of complete functionality once in a while, but luckily they put enhancement points at the right locations.
To link notification to workorder header implicit enhancement has to be implemented in FM: IBAPI_PROC_METHOD_TABLE_EXEC.
From this enhancment call FM:
CALL FUNCTION 'IOPEXT_MAKE_HEADERNOTIF'
EXPORTING
    i_qmnum       = <fs_order_tab>-QMNUM
pass the notificaiton number in export parameter.

Creating txn datasource in weblogic 10.3

Can anyone help me to create transactional datasources in weblogic 10.3. We are migrating our application from 8.1 to 10.3 and migrated existing datasources to 10.3. While executing ejb's it is giving the following error.
java.sql.SQLException: Connection has already been created in this tx context for pool named <Pool 1> Illegal attempt to create connection from another pool: <Pool 2>
In 8.1, we have only one connection pool associated with many txn datasources. In 10.3 created separate pool for each data source from same DB with following properties for txn.
--Supports global transaction with one-phase commit.
Used oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver driver class.

You need to use an XA driver to span multiple resources such as oracle.jdbc.xa.client.OracleXADataSource

Making a custom field mandatory in co11n txn ?

Hi Experts,
I have added a field in co11n transaction ( say a) i want to
make these field mandatory ( i.e i should not let the user to
save the order without the value in my field ?
can any tel me how to do this, which exit should i use ( i have
list of all exit for co11n txn ) ?

If dont want to code in Exit again . Try Chain Endchain.
This can be written in the screen you had developed in PAI module.
