I have just made a website (www.doneanddone.co.nz), and I have two swf. One sound swf and one video swf but none are loading in IE? Anyone know what wrong?

you have faulty swf embedding code. check the documentation for your version of swfobject and use it or use embedding code in the html published by flash

I am having similar issues - the URL that the plugin insists it wants to have complete (with http:// at the front) is being concatenated with another "http://" when it is rendered on the page.

If I take the http:// OFF the property for the button (so, I start with "www...."), the widget doesn't render. I get an error that the thumbnail can't draw.

SWF Not Working...Help Please :(

So I've been having an issue with a SWF not work on a page and this is what I can seem to come up with after hours of messing with Dreamweaver and Flash trying to understand why it won't work. When i test the movie from the working Flash file, it works no problem. Something is going wrong when I export or publish the movie and it no longer works. Is this something that happens?
Your help is much appreciated...this site needs to go up in the next day or so and the SWF was working and then stopped working and I'm honestly not a Flash gal so I really have no business messing with it, but it was a specific request. Thanks!

One thing that might be an issue as far as the web page goes it that the html specifies a file named carousel2.swf which does not appear to exist on the server and is not the same name as the file you are calling the swf in your swf link (*carousel3.swf).
Without knowing what goes on inside carousel3, or carousel 2 for that matter, it's hard to say if it is missing the xml file that it might need. But for either case, are you certain that you have uploaded the xml file that is needed?

RealPlayer download feature not working in Firefox (but works in IE)

Realplayer download feature (cursor over a youtube video, "download this video" pops up) has recently quit working for me (I've been using it for months). I've searched knowledge bases and forums extensively and tried all the suggestions., such as rolling back from Flash Player 11.5 to 10.3 (no luck), disabling/enabling RealPlayer Download plugin in Firefox (no luck), etc. The one suggestion I'd like to try but can't is going into RealPlayer preferences and enabling/disabling the "Download and Record" function. I can't because all I have in my preferences is "Recording" and the options have nothing to do with downloading. None of the RealNetworks/RealPlayer support sites are helpful at all...
However, the download feature works just fine in Internet Explorer

Realplayer download does not work in Firefox. Someone suggested ant.com as an add-on. That works.
For youtube I use YTD downloader (a youtube product). It is more reliable for youtube videos.

Image - maps are not working in Firefox but it does work in IE. Some help required.

Last week i've been building a website for our company. However, there is still a problem with our banner/slider. I've uploaded some images and the slider is currently working. But the image maps ,using <map> & <area> taggs, are not functional in FF. They do work in IE so I suppose it should be working correctly.
I've tried using Chrome & Safari but the problem keeps persisting.
Some help would be nice (:

I was referring to the second page in my above post.
I disabled JavaScript as a test after loading the page with JavaScript enabled and that worked. 
I also get the selects to open if I right-click instead of left-click the select. 
That way the select get selected (shows a focus ring) and after that left-clicking works as well .
This assumes that JavaScript is monitoring the left-click, but that script no longer works properly.

Site search will not work in Firefox but works with Chrome

I run three websites. One is personal (www.rossolson.org) and two are for non-profit organizations (www.outpostministries.org and www.tccsa.tc). All have site search through Google, my own site is paid to be ad-free, the non profits are free and without adds because of their non profit status. For a while now, site search does not work with Firefox for the non profit sites but does for the paid site. Chrome and IE work fine. Is there a solution? Some setting to activate? Is this Google's doing?

I am able to type a search word in but on clicking it, nothing changes. No results. the word just stays there.
I also downloaded the https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/live-http-headers/ -- at first I wondered if it was not letting me install. So I allowed it in exceptions. But I'm not clear on what it does or what I do to use it.

Animation will not work in Firefox. It works in Safari.

I created an animation and uploaded it to wordpress.com. Using Firefox, I went to the website to play the animation. But the animation wouldn't appear. I checked it again using the Safari browser. And the animation appeared and it worked fine. Why will it not work in Firefox? I uploaded the newest version of Adobe Flash and installed it. Hello. Thank you for the information. I checked if the flash plugin is activated in the Firefox browser using your instructions. And it is active. The problem seems to occur with all of the flash containing web pages in my wordpress site. My art machine animation and other animations on the site do not appear when the pages load. I checked other websites containing swf file animations and they work.

Flash Player not working in Firefox

Suddenly Firefox will not play flash player content called
when I play games online. It worked fine a few days ago.
When I click on the link, it opens the game page, but where
the game should appear, I see a blank black box. When I click on
the "Play online game" link I also get a large empty black box.
I am running Windows XP on an HP Pavilion ze2315us laptop. I
recently installed trial version of Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro.
In efforts to fix the problem I tried the following:
Removed adblocker addresses that might conflict.
Checked blocked sites
Removed and reinstalled Flash Player.
Reinstalled Firefox.
Set folder options to use Firefox to open SWF files
All to no avail.
I tried the web site in IE. Had to download and install Flash
Player again but it works fine in IE.
Afterwards, it still did not work in Firefox.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

In Google Chrome I can see flash applications very well.
But in Firefox 11.0 flash does not work.
When I look in about:plugins I see:

I'm using Microsoft virtual earth map 6.2 (bing Map) in my application.On map showing number of images.On Each image there is onClick event that select image if user press left mouse button while holding Ctrl key .For this I wrote java-script function where I'm using Window.event.button (To check mouse button) and window.event. ctrlKey(To check control key) But these both are not working in Firefox 4.0 ,the same is working in Firefox 3.6X version perfectly.
