SWF-to-EPCM Bridge failure

Hi,
guys when i am trying to acess ess iviews i am getting an error
initialization of SWF-to-EPCF Bridge failed!
ERROR=TypeError: 'parent.EPCM._private' is null or not an object.
can any one help please.

SWF media uses the Flash plugin. I don't know what EPCF is.
Could you confirm that Flash is enabled on that page? You can either click the "Lego"-like icon on the toolbar, or check to make sure that Flash is allowed to run on all sites by changing the general setting on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Plugins. Look for "Shockwave Flash" and if necessary change to "Always Activate". Then reload the problem page.
If that doesn't help, could you try the usual:
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?
If the problem persists, I wonder whether your bank's tech support knows what is going on. A brief web search didn't point to an immediate answer.

  • Adobe Bridge Failure to Launch

    I have CS4 Design Premium for Mac. As of this morning, as soon as I launch Adobe Bridge, it immediately shuts down. I have restarted my computer twice, checked for software updates and am out of ideas. Any ideas? Bridge has always been a little glitchy on my system (some viewer modes cause the software to shut down on occasion). Help?

    1}I would say uninstall it, clean out any trace of it, reboot, check for any updates reboot, and reinstall, leave defualt location where it installs itself!
    2} look for maybe an older version, you can find one anywhere like www.kat.com try that working it from the bottom on up! even if you have to start at 1.0, let mwe know how that goes!

  • Blackberry Bridge failure

    Got a brand new UK PlayBook yesterday. I ran through the setup, installed Blackberry Bridge on the Bold 9700, paired and everything worked. This morning, the PlayBook resolutely refuses to connect to the 9700 ("Unable to connect BlackBerry Bridge with [Name of 9700]. Please ensure BlackBerry Bridge is installed on your smartphone and turned on"). Well, the app is installed and is turned on. This is deeply frustrating, not to mention flaky. I'm not rolling any more of these out if this is typical of the unit's reliability. Please advise?
    Anthony

    Personally, I've not had any Bridge connection issues.
    But please do this on your Playbook... hold down the POWER key and the UP volume key for about 10 seconds to allow the Playbook to reboot.
    After reboot, check that your Playbook Bluetooth connection is on, same for your 9700... and see if it connects.

  • Convert swf to .ipa : compilation failure

    Hi,
    I'm trying to build a really simple mobile flex project but i'm stuck at the ADT compilation.
    Here is what I did :
    - got flash builder burrito
    - download air 2.6 and merge this sdk with the sdk 4.5.0 in the flash builder folder.
    - made a simple test project. (just a label in the middle)
    - got the certificates to p12 and the mobileprovisioning
    - run the mxml with flash builder, also tried to compile it with the mxmlc.exe manually with both delivered a .swf file
    - run the adt command :
         [echo] -package -target ipa-debug -storetype pkcs12 -keystore C:/temp/TestMobile/certificates/cert.p12 -storepass [pass] -provisioning
    -profile C:/temp/TestMobile/certificates/flexTest.mobileprovision C:/temp/TestMobile/release/testMobile.ipa C:/temp/TestMobile/src/TestMobil
    e-app.xml -C C:/temp/TestMobile/bin-release TestMobile.swf
         [exec] Compilation failed...
         [exec] Result: 12
    As you can see the result of the compilation is 'Compilation failed'.
    Anyone knows what else I can do to get this stuff converted to an ipa?

  • Problem playing an swf file created in Bridge

    Hello everyone
    I have created an web gallery using Bridge and tried playing a swf file containing the slideshow with no luck. When I double-click the file, it open an Adobe Flash Player window but a spiral appears at the centre and just keeps turning. Because my intention is to upload the swf file to a website, I really need to get the file to play the slideshow.
    Has anyone succeeded in making a standalone swf file using Bridge or any other Adobe product? If so, please let me know how to.
    Thank you,
    Pom

    Henk,
    I'm not on 3.0 so I can't help you out, but I would suggest re-posting on the Enterprise Administration portion, perhaps it'll get more notice there for a resolution.
    Thanks,
    John

  • XMP metadata from Flashbuilder why not visible in Adobe Bridge?

    Hi there,
    I'm currently wondering around XMP metadata and swf files.
    A: Flash CS5: works
    When I use the XMP panel in Flash CS5 and export a swf, open Adobe Bridge CS5 and select the file, the XMP data are correctly displayed.
    B: Flash Builder(Flex 4.1): don't work
    When I use Flashbuilder and add my metadata to the compilation, then compile, open Adobe Bridge CS5 and select the file, nothing is included in metadata.
    Procedure based on the following (same problem if metadata are directly set through compiler arguments):
    http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/3/html/help.html?content=compilers_14.html
    ../src/config/ProductMetaData.xml
    <flex-config>
    <metadata>
        <title>My title</title>
        <description>My description</description>
        <publisher>The publisher</publisher>
        <creator>The creator</creator>
        <language>EN</language>
    </metadata>
    </flex-config>
    compiler argument
    -load-config+=config/ProductMetaData.xml
    As far as understood, on the background the following is added to the swf at compile time:
    <rdf:RDF xmlns:rdf='http://www.w3.org/1999/02/22-rdf-syntax-ns#'>
        <rdf:Description rdf:about='' xmlns:dc='http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1'>
            <dc:format>application/x-shockwave-flash</dc:format>
            <dc:title>My title</dc:title>
            <dc:description>
                <rdf:Alt>
                    <rdf:li xml:lang='x-default'>My description</rdf:li>
                </rdf:Alt>
            </dc:description>
            <dc:publisher>The publisher</dc:publisher>
            <dc:creator>The creator</dc:creator>
            <dc:language>EN</dc:language>
        </rdf:Description>
    </rdf:RDF>
    I've checked that the medata is correctly added to the swf file using this small software polarswf:
    http://download.cnet.com/Polar-SWF-MetaData/3000-6676_4-10738623.html
    I do not know if it is safe to use it in a produciton context at least in trial mode it allows to check the metadata included in your swf.
    I wonder if this metadata coonot be read by Adobe Bridge because they are at a "lower level" than those put by flash CS5 XMP panel?
    Thank you in advance for your help.
    This is not a blocking situation, but I'm curious to understand what happend.
    Cedric Madelaine (aka maddec)

    I was following this post for a LONG time, since I noticed the same problem.
    This week I was getting in it into myself again and I noticed you use load-config. I used these compiler options :
    contributor name
    Sets metadata in the resulting SWF file. For more information, see Adding metadata to SWF files.
    creator name
    Sets metadata in the resulting SWF file. For more information, see Adding metadata to SWF files.
    date text
    Sets metadata in the resulting SWF file. For more information, see Adding metadata to SWF files.
    But that resulted in this XML string where the dc namespace was missing a / on the end of the URI
    That caused the metadata which was added in flashbuilder was only visible in bridge in the rawXML panel, and not the specific fields
    changing the URI in http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/ did the trick ( did this in bridge by exporting the rawXML, changed the / , and imported it )
    <rdf:RDF xmlns:rdf='http://www.w3.org/1999/02/22-rdf-syntax-ns#'>
        <rdf:Description rdf:about='' xmlns:dc='http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1'>
            <dc:format>application/x-shockwave-flash</dc:format>
        </rdf:Description>
    </rdf:RDF>
    Sadly there was no way I could add this / myself everytime.
    BUT then I discoverd this option :
    raw-metadata XML_string
    Defines the metadata for the resulting SWF file. The value of this option overrides any metadata.* compiler options (such as contributor,creator, date, and description).
    This is an advanced option.
    And you could give the exact RAW XML as you  described
    <rdf:RDF xmlns:rdf='http://www.w3.org/1999/02/22-rdf-syntax-ns#'>
        <rdf:Description rdf:about='' xmlns:dc='http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/'>
            <dc:format>application/x-shockwave-flash</dc:format>
            <dc:title>My title</dc:title>
            <dc:description>
                <rdf:Alt>
                    <rdf:li xml:lang='x-default'>My description</rdf:li>
                </rdf:Alt>
            </dc:description>
            <dc:publisher>The publisher</dc:publisher>
            <dc:creator>The creator</dc:creator>
            <dc:language>EN</dc:language>
        </rdf:Description>
    </rdf:RDF>
    to the compiler. This could also be done in Flash with JSFL.
    In the end I wrote an ANT script which injects the exact XMLstring of metadata to Flash and Flex projects by using the raw-metadata parameter in FLEX and JSFL for flash.
    Hope this helps

  • Embedding FULLY SCALABLE SWF in PDF

    Hello...good people...
    I would like to embed a FULLY SCALABLE Photoshop Zoomable photo (swf) and Adobe Bridge web gallery (swf) inside my pdf. After watching the AcrobatUserCommunity Tech Talk tutorial "Embedding Flash in PDF" - September 2009 (https://adobechats.adobe.acrobat.com/p56758970/?launcher=false&fcsContent=true&pbMode=norm al) and following its instructions (I encourage EVERYONE to watch this entire video...but for this topic 0:29-0:46 is what you need to watch...awesome stuff!!!), I am glad to say I can successfully embed a PS Z-photo and Bridge web gallery. My problem is...the magnification (zoom) on the Z-photo AND gallery has to be 100% and higher. Anything lower, cropping occurs. My question is: how do I modify the Flash files and what applications do I use to make Zoomify and the Bridge web gallery FULLY SCALABLE? In plain English, I'd like to  see the ENTIRE Z-photo and gallery at 50% or even 25% zoom.
    My tools:
    Acrobat 9 PE
    Flash Pro CS5
    PS CS5
    Flash Builder 4
    Bridge CS5
    Sothink SWF Decompiler
    If anyone can provide step-by-step instructions as to how to do this, I would greatly appreciate it!!!

    Adobe Reader can't create pdf files. What do you use?

  • Apache-WebLogic Bridhge Failures

    Hi all, We are also having a similar setup, except that we are using WebLogic Server 5.1. We had this problem when the traffic in our production site is high. We thought we had solved the problem when we applied Service Pack 5. But after behaving for sometime if the data upload goes beyond say 5 MB the Bridge fails, but surprisingly the actual data gets uploaded. This happens when the traffic is slightly high on the site. We have set the parameter ConnectionTimeoutSecs in weblogic.conf which is called by the httpd.conf to 900. Still we are having this bridge failure problem once in a while. We are not sure what to do, is there anybody who has faced this problem and managed to solve it ? if so please SOS.Cheers,Aejaz

  • Enabling Subject/Focusing Distance in Aperture 3

    In Adobe Bridge CS4 I can see in my RAW master file the "Subject Distance" in the EXIF.
    Now in Aperture 3 the Subject Distance and Focusing Distance are blank.
    Now, is this a bug to be solved or do I need to enable something within Aperture to display the image?
    I need this information as I deal mainly with wild life and having to only use Aperture 3 to get the information would make my life so much simpler.
    Neither the Canon 5D, 40D, 5D Mark II, 7D nor 1D Mark IV would show this information in Aperture but will readily display in Bridge.

    Failure?
    There is information on the focal length in Aperture. And it will show you the focus point.
    I don't know if it picks up the subject focus distance. And if it doesn't, this is something that's just not a feature, it's not a failure.
    For having exactly two posts total, both of them on one subject, you sure are quick to pick up on "another failure" eh?

    In that case, I will have no choice but to decompile the .swf to get the .fla because the original .fla is un-obtainable. Unless there is a way to edit the contents of the .swf file without decompiling it.
    I can see the code inside via various decompile tools and it seems that I would need to add the equivalent of <src target=_blank> to some of the lines I have shown below.
    obj_xml.load(appurl + "loadconfig.aspx?calendarid=" + calendarid);  -- need to edit this so it opens in a new window using something similar to target = _blank
    dest_page = appurl + "default.aspx"; -- need to edit this so it opens in a new window using something similar to target = _blank
    I know a lot of decompile tools can get you the code and the .fla but once you edit and re-compile and attempt to replace the original with the new & updated file, the decompiler did not necessarily generate the properly formatted flash pro project file, so compiling it back into an operational .swf often ends in failure.
    Do you know or can you recommend a tool that has a very good track record of re-compiling the decompiled modified.fla into a workable and usable .swf?

  • Message Queue Blocking / MSGMNI Setting

    Hi All,
    Firstly, many thanks to all that can assists. I am currently getting Message Queue
    Blocking messages in my ULOG files in my Tuxedo Application. (Tux ver 7.1 in Unix).
    I am not sure what is causing this, but started to look into the Tux Config (UBB.MP)
    and System message queue setting. Detailed as follows:
    1)
    Listed below is the system message queue setting:
    set msgsys:msginfo_msgmni=2000
    set msgsys:msginfo_msgmax=128000
    set msgsys:msginfo_msgmnb=100000
    set msgsys:msginfo_msgssz=256
    set msgsys:msginfo_msgseg=25088
    set msgsys:msginfo_msgtql=1550
    set msgsys:msginfo_msgmap=1000
    According to the BEA site, the MSGMNI is determined by this formula:
    MSGMNI = MAXACCESSERS + 7 + (no. of servers with REPLYQ) + (no. MSSQ sets) - (no.
    of servers with MSSQ sets)
    The following is my current Tux. Config (UBB.MP) is set as :
    - MAXACCESSERS = 2300
    - Each servers (4 types in total) has its own REPLYQ and RQADDR.
    - The same type of servers are set the same across 4 application servers.
    Hence, my MSGMNI should be a minimum 2339 (ie. MSGMNI = 2300 + 16 + 16 - 0 = 2339).
    But my current MSGMNI is 2000.
    Would this contribute to my Message Queue Blocking?
    Is my understanding correct and is this something I should change to avoid Message
    Queue Blocking? Any helps and advice is much appreciated.

    Malcolm,
    Your information and explanations behind these error messages are very useful.
    It allow me to further understand Tuxedo internal processing and at the same time
    give me a chance to start analysing these fields.
    I am reluctant to ask further questions at the mean time. I will use your suggestions
    as a starting point.
    I will certainly keep you posted of the outcome when I have made the changes in
    my UBB config and machine parameters.
    Many thanks with your help/explanations Malcolm. It helps alot!
    Cheers.
    David.

    Hi David,
    The MSGTQL reference you give (Solution S-00488) refers to the BEA MessageQ
    product
    and is not relevant to Tuxedo.
    The error messages indicate that the queue buildup is probably due to
    a restartable
    server failing. What happens is this:
    When a restartable server fails its IPC queue remains in place and continues
    to
    receive messages (which will be processed when the server restarts).
    Depending
    on the time taken to restart, the queue could become full and unable
    to receive
    any more messages, and this is probably why you got the message CMDTUX_CAT:1380
    indicating that the BRIDGE process was unable to put a message on the
    server's
    queue.
    A server is only restarted when the BBL does a SANITYSCAN check. If,
    for example,
    your SANITYSCAN interval is 300 seconds and your server fails immediately
    after
    the previous scan, then there will be a delay of almost 5 minutes before
    the failure
    is detected and the server restarted - plenty of time for the queue to
    fill up.
    There are a few things you could do:
    The key thing would be to find out why the server is failing, and fix
    the problem.
    If this is not possible immediately, consider some of the other ideas
    below.
    Have several servers form an MSSQ to service this queue; then if one
    fails the
    others will continue processing the messages while the failed server
    restarts
    (this assumes, of course, that your application does not require the
    messages
    to be processed in strict order through the server).
    Reduce the SANITYSCAN interval (but don't make it too small). This would
    reduce
    the average time taken to restart the server.
    Increase the size of the IPC queue (MSGMNB) so that it can hold more
    messages.
    I'm not sure why you got a LIBTUX_CAT:1485 message, but this could be
    due to a
    BRIDGE failure as a result of the congestion.
    The NETLOAD parameter would reduce the number of messages going to the
    remote
    machine, but only if the local machine offers the same service. If the
    remote
    machine is the only source of the service then NETLOAD will have no effect.
    I
    recommend you do a search of this newsgroup for postings on "load balancing"
    there's some good stuff which will explain how load balancing works.
    Depending how things go, it might not be a bad idea to open a case with
    BEA Support
    and ask for guidance (remember to submit your ubbconfig (or preferably
    do a tmunloadcf)
    together with the complete ULOGs from both the master and the slave machine).
    Hope this helps some.
    Regards,
    Malcolm.

    Based on your suggestion I went hunting around the BEA site and found
    the following

    If the above point is valid, then my MSGTQL is definitely way too low.
    IF this
    be the case, would you know of a method to work out what my MSGTQL bytes
    value
    should be?
    Additionally, I have looked at other parameters which I could tune,and
    would
    adding a NETLOAD parameter in the *MACHINES section will reduce remote
    servers
    call? Which potentially, maybe reduce message queue blocking?
    FYI:
    The error messages I am seeing in my ULOG file are:
    "LIBTUX_CAT: 1477 : ERROR .SysServerDied
    LIBTUX_CAT: 1476 : ERROR: .SysServerRestarting"
    Which then leads to message queue blocking
    "CMDTUX_CAT: 1380 : ERROR: Message queue blocking prevented delivery,
    Qaddr=..."
    and potentially "LIBTUX_CAT: 1485 .SysNetworkDropped."
    Many Thanks. Hope to hear from you (Malcolm) or other parties out there
    that can
    assists.
    Thanks.

  • Multiple clusters definition with the same httpd.conf

    I want to define two different weblogic clusters for the same virtual host based on the URL. I've tried this
    <Location /tocluster1 >
    WebLogicCluster machine1:8090,machine2:8090
    SetHandler weblogic-handler
    </Location >
    <Location /tocluster2 >
    WebLogicCluster machine3:9090, machine4:9090
    SetHandler weblogic-handler
    </Location >
    It doesn't work : requests are mixed up between both clusters.
    Is it possible to achieve using WL6.1SP5 plugin and apache 2.0.47 ?

    I had a similar issue and got it fixed after applying the latest version of the
    proxy plugin. If you already got the latest plugin then it is fine. Otherwise
    let me know, I can send it over to you. You may also open a case with BEA and
    get it.
    Thanks,

    I am having the same issue with Weblogic 8.1 plugin on Apache 2.0.46.
    So it seems
    like the issue has been fixed yet. Do I have to use only one WeblogicCluster
    for each Apache Virtual host? Does anyone have a better solution? Thanks

    WebLogic 5.1 supports only one config per VirtualHost, as specifiedin

    I would strongly recommend to use the 6.1-approach when proxying tomultiple
    clusters,
    even if the "old" style works too. I have done some testing that yielded
    high
    error ratios, apache bridge failures and READ_TIMEOUTS when using mod_proxy
    as
    a intermediate to proxy from one VirtualHost to antother containingthe
    cluster-definition

    Hey,
    I had the same problem and it didnt work.
    eventually I had to use multiple VirtualHosts.
    It seems that its a bug and the WebLogicCluster directive(and some
    others)
    are global for each vhost.
    This bug is going to be fixed in next ServicePack of WLS 7.0 but Idonno
    what about 6.1
