SWIA Forward button not availble

Hi ,
I have got all the workflow admin profiles and authorizations assinged to my id, but still when I go to SWIA to forward the workitem, the forward button is missing.
I know that there is a workaround, going to technical workitem dispaly---> replace manually and then forward.
But I dont want to do it that way. What is exaclty missing, given all the workflow admin authorizationss , why the forward button is not enabled? Where am I missing?
When I run SU53, all the authorization checks are sucessful.
we are using 4.6c

Hi, in the help-->application help for SWIA it says about forwarding a workitem: This user must be neither a possible agent of the work item nor must forwarding be permitted for this work item.
If the above is not the case, then it should be an authorization issue.

To move the Stop and Reload buttons to their position to the left of the location bar you can use these steps:
* Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize"
* Drag the Reload and Stop buttons to their previous position to the left of the location bar.
* Set the order to "Reload - Stop" to get a combined "Reload/Stop" button.
* Set the order to "Stop - Reload" or separate them otherwise (Space or Separator) to get two distinct buttons.

Forward button not appearing in the workflow inbox

Hi All,
We have an issue where a user says that the forward button is not appearing in the workflow inbox . This is happening only for one user. Is there an way through which we can add the forward button?

Hi Archana,
If Basis have confirmed that the user has the authorization, then the user should be able to forward tasks.
Right click on a task in the inbox, it should allow the user to forward the task.
If the user does not have the authorization, then a message will appear that user does not have authorization to forward tasks.
Immediately after that take a screen shot of SU53, which will show you why task forwarding is not possible.

Forward button not working on last page of module with links

CP4 - When I have links on a page, I select the Pause until User clicks option on the click box for the link. This pauses the module until the user has an opportunity to look at the material when they click a link. The Forward button works fine when they come back to the module. However, it does not work on the last page of a module, Forward will not go to the next module -- the Play button must be pushed to Forward to the next module. I have the Preferences Start/End to open another project when they reach the end.
Can anyone tell me why the Forward button isn't working on the last page when there are links on that page?

I did a work around which is time consuming and inefficient. I duplicated the slide, removed the link click box and made the animations static. I also set the slide time length to 0.1, now the forward button on the previous slide works.

Forward Button NOT Hidden in FF10

Okay, so the FF10 ChangeLog says "The forward button is now hidden until you navigate back"
But Mine is still visibile ( http://d.pr/EjrK ), its just faded a little.
Why? Make the Forward Button Go AWAY!

Nevermind, Figured out that if you Put a button between the "Back/Forward" and "AddressBar" it remove the Hidden Forward button...

Forward Button Not Available Until All Buttons Clicked in Slide

I'm attempting to create a slide where several buttons or rollover slidelets are available to the user. Each button/slidelet will need to be viewed before they are able to continue to the next slide.
For example, the slide has 3 button/slidelets on it which each represent a word. Each button/slidelet would need to be clicked before the user could proceed to the next slide.
How can I disable the forward button functionality on the playbar until each of the buttons/slidelets have been viewed?

Hi there
There are a few different ways this might be accomplished. If your goal is to remain entirely in Captivate, you might consider configuring an Advanced Action to do the work for you. You could reposition the playhead upon entering the next slide based on a variable you set.
Alternatively, you could hide the Playback Controls until all the elements have been interacted with.

Navigation (Back/Forward) buttons not working in Firefox

I'm tring to put together a Browser Based help guide, and for the most part it's working as intended... except for the navigation buttons within the help guide themselves. By that I mean...
Those guys. The way I would assume they work is that they provide back/forward navigation between topics as you move through the guide, but they don't seem to be functional. As in, they do nothing, ever. They don't even act clickable.
(The forward and back buttons provided by my browser do seem to work, but I'd like to get these working, as well.)
We're testing mostly in Firefox 13; we've also tried IE 9, and the buttons work correctly. Any ideas?

It's odd that these would work fine in IE. To my knowledge, they aren't there to navigate from visited topic to visited topic and back. Unless I'm mistaken, they are there to traverse one or more Browse Sequences that have been defined.

Keyboard back/play/forward buttons not working in iTunes 11?

Retina Macbook Pro here, 10.8.2
iTunes 11 has killed functionality of the back/play-pause/next (F7, F8, F9) keys. Has this happened to anyone else?

Why are my back and forward buttons not working?

I have restarted firefox with add-ons disabled and then in safe mode and they worked then but when closed firefox and then restarted it they don't work again. I don't know if one of my kids have done something but I am not sure what to do to fix it.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

At times the back/forward button not working as well ast the refresh button. Have to restart Firefox to get them working. Fix?

Back Button not working in FireFox 4

Is anyone else having trouble with the back and forward buttons not working in FireFox 4? I installed 4 on an XP desktop and a Vista 64 laptop, and the forward and back buttons don't work on either installation. Does anyone know a fix for this? I tried deleting the "places" files in the profile and that does not help.

I am having a problem with the back button also in Firefox 4. Firefox forgets the 1st page in any new session or tab. If I open a tab to say bbc.com and navigate to guardian.com I can't click the back button to get back to bbc.com.

With version 5 of Firefox, if I open more than 1 session, most of the time I cannot see anything in the navigation bar and my back and forward buttons do not work.

I open 1 session of Firefox 5.0.1 and everything seems to work fine. Then I open a second session of Firefox and most of the time the navigation bar does not show the page that I am on and the back and forward buttons do not work. When this happens, the first session always remains working. I am an internet marketer so I have at least 2 or 3 sessions going at any given time.

How do I go back to my old version of Firefox. 4 does not allow me to use two finger mousepad control to expand or contract my screen. Also I don't like the lack of a drop-down arrow next to the back/forward buttons.

I don't like to have to click and drag to see the drop down history of the back/forward buttons - this requires two fingers or a double tap and hold finger motion. MUCH easier to click and release and take my time to pick the screen I want to go back to, then click on that link with a separate motion.
I especially don't like that I can no longer expand and contract the screen with two finger motion on my mousepad!!!
Generally, I don't see any advantage to the new layout - and I have a slight preference to having my tabs closer to the screen rather than above the address bar, since I more frequently click on tabs than on the address bar. If you want to improve the view I would recommend combining the very topmost bar which is part of the window surround with the File Edit etc bar (and please keep File, Edit, View History, etc separated instead of putting them into a dropdown). This will allow the viewer one more line of text on a given webpage, and eliminate the wasted space which is only used to identify the window as FF and provide the close window buttons

To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.

What happened to my back button? Now when I'm browsing on facebook, or any other site, the back/forward buttons are not highlighted to be able to use them?

When I am surfing the net, I have always been able to use my back/forward buttons. Now all of a sudden, they are not available to use, you can still see them, but they are grey, not black, like they once were so that I could click them to go back to a previous page, or forward once I've went back? I don't know what's the problem. I did the most recent firefox update that was sent to me recently. But just noticed this problem today. Thanks for your help.

Navigation "Back" and "Forward" buttons are inactive, they do not work at all. How do I fix this?

I have downloaded the latest version of firefox and the navigation buttons in the browser will not work in any way. The "Back" and "Forward" buttons are completely un-usable.

Toolbar misbehavior could be due to a problematic add-on (e.g., theme or extension), or a corrupted settings file. Next time you upgrade -- and for security reasons, it is highly recommended -- try Firefox's Safe Mode to see whether you can pin it on an add-on or custom setting. You also could clear your toolbar settings.
More info on Safe Mode:
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, restart Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.org/kb/Safe+Mode Safe Mode] using
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
In the Safe Mode dialog, do not check any boxes, just click "Continue in Safe Mode."
