Swift keyboard; annoying issue with Facebook

Hello all,
I'm not sure if this is something for the forum so apologise in advance if this is the case.
My only main gripe with the Swift keyboard is when it's on and you enter someone's name to tag for someone reason when you hit enter it removes the tag, you have to turn back to the normal keyboard to avoid this.
It's very annoying - can anyone help at all ?

Why are the characters mixed up in the session?
This issue can occur if the keyboard language has been switched on the remote PC while running a remote desktop session. In the case you would like to switch to a different keyboard language follow these instructions.
Important
The remote PC selects the system language of the device running the remote desktop client and not the keyboard language. When switching the keyboard language on your device, you need to manually switch the keyboard language on the remote PC.
Open settings on your device.
Tap General and then tap International.
Tap Language and select the language running on the remote PC.
Open the RD Client and connect to the remote PC and check if the Windows keyboard language matches the language that you selected.

Issues with Facebook; Chat window problems; can't minimize window , and send chat as message when one receiver logs off.

While using Firefox I have an 2 issues with Facebook chat. 1. Cannot minimize (-) the chat window, only close it (x). When the receiver in chat logs off and a message didn't go through- the option to "send message as email" doesn't work. These have been ongoing problems for several months. Issues with Facebook (Mobile Site)

I'm having issues with the Facebook App. I have the Blackberry 3G (9330) thru Sprint and I updated my Blackberry Software from 5.0 to 6.0. Since then, the Facebook (Mobile site) will allow me to type of up to around 20 characters when submitting my status or sending an email. Once it I type around 20 characters, the screen freezes and then it boots me out of the FB (Mobile site) and goes to the Bookmark page. I reinstalled that App thinking it may have not installed properly and may have affected the Facebook Mobile site but I'm still having the same problem. However, when I use the Facebook App, I'm able to update my status and send email using more than the 20 characters that's allowed in the Facebook (Mobile site). Is there something I can do to have this corrected? I like the mobile site better because I can see my friend's birthdays on the main page and it offers more options than the FB App.

After playing around with the settings, I found that if you have the "Assistive Input by Keyboard" under Options/Typing set to Predictive, it will interfere with any data that is keyed into the Facebook browser and cause it to freeze. I changed the setting to direct instead of Predictive and this resolved the issue. Thanks for your help!

Keyboard/Trackpad issues with MacBook Air (Late 2010)

My wife used one of those clorox wipes on her MacBook Air and now she is having issues with the keyboard and trackpad. The option, command and shift keys do not work correctly and the trackpad thinks every click is a two finger "command click" (even though I turned off right clicking in the system preferences).
Normally I would try a PRAM or SMC reset to fix it, but the buttons needed to start one (cmd + opt) aren't working.
I plugged in an external USB keyboard and all the buttons work correctly.
Any advice on how to get these issues resolved? Is it a hardware issue that needs to be addressed by a Genius? Is it possible a clean install of OS X could fix the issue?
The computer hasn't had any issues before this and there doesn't appear to be any battery swelling issues

I made a Genius bar appointment for tomorrow. When I got home last night I took a look at it again (I have a hard time leaving broken things alone...) and for whatever reason, the keyboard started working perfectly again. I managed to boot into safe mode via terminal but the issue persisted. When I booted back into standard mode, the keyboard was working great. This morning when I woke up, it was not working agian, but after rebooting it, it has been working correctly for the last hour.
At one point, I booted into Recovery and looked at the system.log. One error that caught my eye was:
Keyboard Layouts: duplicate keyboard layout identifier -16900.
Mar 7 05:54:10 localhost Unknown[355]: Keyboard Layouts: keyboard layout identifier -16900 has been replaced with -28674.
Any idea what this is, or if it could be causing eratic behavior?
The other odd thing is I cannot boot into any disgnostic modes using shortcut keys before booting. I'd like to reset PRAM, run AHT but none of those commands are working.
I still have my appointment tomorrow, but I'm thinking it is not a hardware issue (with the keyboard at least) since it does work correctly some of the time.

Annoying issue with Logger

When I tell my FileHandler to append to an existing XML log file, it adds the follow two lines to the log file every time:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252" standalone="no"?>
<!DOCTYPE log SYSTEM "logger.dtd">
This means that, if I have had hundreds of iterations of my loop, i get hundreds of XML headers in my log file, which seems asinine (not to mention the fact that a new LOG tag is created every time too). Is there anyway to prevent this from happening?

I'm sure you'll just take issue with my response as well, based on a topic from the other day...
but I'd have to say it sounds like you're using loggers for the wrong reason, if you think you need to append to an existing XML-based one. Maybe you should be logging to a flat text-based one instead, or shouldn't be integrating with (and dependent on) logger output to the degree that you are. There's probably a different design approach needed, but of course I'm not all that involved in your project. Just trying to point out that you may need to revisit the design instead of sticking with it the way you are.

Aperture 3.4.1 sync issue with Facebook

When I upload an picture to Facebook, it won't sync anymore with Aperture.
Any one having the same problem?

I had the following exchange with one of my daughters who is quiet expert with Facebook: me) Are there single photo uploads via the iPhone that would not be treated like an album on Facebook? Daughter) Yes, they would be in mobile uploads folder, or wall photos. Sometimes there are multiple wall photo albums.
Where did you find your photo? The folders she is talking about would likely not get picked up by Aperture on sync.

Some annoying issue with my Z97 Gaming 7

First issues.
-SSD is detected, but doesn't show folder even though it shows there is data on the drive. I have to reboot and then go into the bios. I don't do anything in my bios I just need to get there and save and close. Then it will work until my system goes into sleep mode. Sometimes after coming out of sleep mode folder are gone again and other times are just random. --- Tested drive on my other system works fine.
- My front USB stop working. The items I have plug into the front USB are not be detect at all. Test components on my other computer all is working well.
and now my SSD isn't be detected.
This is a fresh install of Windows.
This is my last MSI product that I will purchase. I haven't had so many issue from a Manufacture. I have to run my Graphics cards at full power so I don't get flickering or others issues. Now the issues with my motherboard.

Photo upload issue with Facebook

Am having a problem uploading photos to FaceBook via Lightroom's publish interface. It shows as authorized (which was a problem in itself for a while), but I get a generic "Photo Upload Failed" error from LR4. In addition, JPEGs exported from LR4 will not upload via FaceBook's own interface. This is all new since upgrading to LR4. Windows 7. While it looks like a FaceBook issue, it started with LR4 installation and no one else seems to be having a problem uploading images to FB via Lightroom or otherwise.

Day 3 of this issue and still no repsonse from Blackberry. I guess we found out who Blackberry really cares about. March 2013 - you will be losing me as a Blackberry user.

Issue with facebook information being added to contacts?

On my z10 when I set it up, I set up a facebook account as well, and it added facebook account information to some of my contacts (most of which were added though gmail CardDav).
I tried deleting the account and readding it to see if I could get facebook information with ALL of my accounts (so I could respond to messages through hub).
Now it's not showing any facebook information.
Help please.

Open Contacts and swipe from the top and go into settings. Is Facebook showing as On? Also is there a checkmark for use cloud services at the bottom?
Also what version of BlackBerry 10 are you using? Go to Settings>About to find this information.

Annoying issue with LV7

I found out I can not input the character # (ASCII code 35) with LV 7:
- on a string control the character is simply not typed
- on the diagram typing # seems to be a shortcut for enabling the grid alignment.
I'm using an italian keyboard.
This issue occurs only with LV7.

A friend of mine was telling me that he had problems with control charaters and LV7. I tried his code and it was fine on my machine. He found a workaround and we never found the source of the mystery.
As for myself, I now see a strange behavior with LV7.
It closes itself while I wire-up a new vi... >(
It happened twice yesterday... -strange-
My LV7 was solid until then...

Caps Lock Keyboard having issues with certain notes and chords

Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help me with a weird issue when I'm using the caps lock keyboard on my macbook pro (running 10.6.2) with logic 8.
When I play certain chords, 1 or 2 of the notes don't sound.
It's almost like I'm having limited polyphony but in a random way.
It's happening on any instrument or plugin.
Sometimes only 3 of 4 notes are ringing out, sometimes 2 of 4, sometimes I can play a big 6 note chord and no notes drop out.
It's not the same note dropping out in multiple chords when it happens, sometimes in one chord a note won't ring out but in a different chord that same note will play fine.
But it's the same chords that give me the same issues every time.
I've already trashed the prefs file (com.apple.logic.pro.cs)
This only happens on my macbook pro on the internal keyboard. It doesn't happen on my desktop mac nor does it happen when I use an external keyboard on the macbook pro.
My Macbook Pro's keyboard functions fine in every other way.
Any Ideas? It's really driving me crazy.

There is a limit to the keyboard response in hardware - it's got better, but in older machines the keyboard processor could only handle about two or three key presses at once.
A qwerty keyboard is not a musical instrument - you cannot guarantee a decent, or quick response - I'd suggest you get a real keyboard if you are writing a piano concerto....
