SWIFT message using SAP

Dear All,
As per our clients requirement, we need to design SWIFT message Type MT 300, MT 320 and MT 399.
As per my knowledge there will be a external system where we can design.........
Is there any possibility for designing SWIFT format in SAP.
Kindly give an idea on this so that we can go-ahead and try to resolve this issue.
Thanks in advance,
Sana

Hi Kiran,
          Thanks for you helpful answer.
Is there any standard program for the message Types MT700,MT200,MT 400 and MT900 etc. Apart from the MT 300 and MT320, or do we need to develop these through Z programs only?
Cordially,
Sana

  • Swift Messages from SAP

    Hello Experts,
We are planning to use the standard XI content for SWIFT messages, so we downloaded the content and did the required configuration for one of the scenario we need.
Its technically a file to file schenario using a BPM to collect messages, the sender file adaptor uses a FINConversiontoSWIFT module and the message structure at the source side is called SwiftMessage.
Can anyone give me some information regarding the source file formats, how these messages are generated from SAP etc?

    Hi ,
One year back i worked on Swift message formats,i have very minimum knowledge about swift message my understading followsss
Which Swift format are you going to use??below swift message format available as per knowledge,
    MT940- Electronic Accont Statement,
    MT 103-Single Customer Credit Transfer,
    MT 101-Request for Transfer ,
    MT541- message (Receive against payment).
When you wroking with Swift message scenarios you have to be very careful in point of security.
SWIFT messages consist of five blocks of data. In addition, the MQSA component adds two blocks that are used for queue management. The high-level structure of a SWIFT message is as follows:
    MQSA UUID
    SWIFT 1:Basic Header Block
    SWIFT 2: Application Header Block
    SWIFT 3:User Header Block
    SWIFT 4: Text Block
    SWIFT 5: Trailer
    MQSA S Block

    Hi ,
Pls find Overview of SWIFT message structure

    SWIFT 4: Text Block
    SWIFT 5: Trailer
    MQSA S Block
    Note:
The MQSA component adds the UUID (User Unique Message Identifier) and S blocks. Neither are parsed by the SWIFT data handler. The S block has the same structure as SWIFT block 5, except that field tags consist of three char strings. For example, }.

  • Message using SWIFT processing?

In my current application, i m using SWIFT accelerator for disassembling  SWIFT messages. After doing some processing on message at orchestration level, i m trying to insert data in db using WCF SQL adapter.

You are getting an error indicating that the SWIFT Disassembler component could not locate the BRE Validation rules for the published message. For SWIFT the message has to comply with TWO set of rules, Formatting (1) which the disassembler/assembler handle
as long as they can locate the associated schema and SWIFT Network Rules (2) which are implemented as a series of BRE Policies and Rules.
What you need to do is run the BRE Deployment utility that is provided as part of the A4SWIFT Deployment, select the schema you recently added and then the BRE Deployment will publish the rules associated with the schema into BRE. Based on the message type,
the DASM will look to execute these rules. Remember to re-start the Rules Engine Update service and also the host instance associated with the processing of the message.
You would need to do this everytime you publish a new SWIFT Schema.

    Hi GN,
You have different options to create messages in test component SV-SMG-SUP-TST:
    1. if you are on 7.1 you can create message using CRM_UI
    2. If you are using lower vrsion then either you can create message using Workcenter or using transaction NOTIF_CREATE or using menu --> Help --> Create support message.

  • XML File to SAP R/3 using SAP XI

    Hello Everyone,
I'm hoping someone has done this scenario and can provide a step by step example for me.  The scenario I have is as follows:
-- An XML file is placed manually on a UNIX SAP Server
-- SAP XI should, once the file is placed on the server, go to a specific directory, pick the file up, and then send it to an RFC of which I've already mapped.
-- Once the file is placed in the SAP R3 system, then the processing is over and no further processing should take place.
-- This is an inbound message to SAP XI and also to SAP R/3
I was thinking of using a File adapter as a "Sender", and poll every 60 seconds on a directory mentioned above.  Once the file is there, then I would call the RFC and then the mapping of the XML would put the data into R/3.
Any help anyone can provide would be most appreciated.  Thanks in advance for your help!

  • Using SAP PI instead of CRM Middleware

    Hi experts,
Is it recommend to use SAP PI instead of SAP CRM Middleware.
If yes how can I do that.
I have read in forum requests that it can be implemented by using iDOC instead of BDocs.
I need a technical guideline how data (eg. Business Partner Data) can be tranferred from CRM to other ERP System.
    Thank you for help.
    Greetings

    Hi!
SAP PI itself is a middleware Product but very roboust and capable enough to integrate any system to any other system, either it is SAP or Non-SAP. And there are two ways to integrate other ERP System to SAP CRM using SAP PI.
    1. SAP PI will receive the message from back end ERP system & convert it to the XML format. SAP CRM receives the message using the Middleware XIF adaptor and convert the incoming XML Messages in the BDocs and the BDocs upload the data in the SAP-CRM Data base.
    2. SAP PI will receive the message from back end ERP system & convert it to the XML format. SAP CRM receives the message and using the Functional Module convert the data into the  BDocs and the BDocs upload the data in the SAPCRM Data base. In thsi situation, you need an expert ABAP Consultant to write the accurate functional Module.
The data inside the SAP_CRM System always transported in the BDocs not in Idocs. It is the BDocs data containers which transport the data from CRM Middleware to CRM Database and CRM Database upto CRM Middleware.

    Hi SAP gurus,
Some of the PC's in our company use windows and some LINUX. Therefore we use two types of SAP GUI. One for windows and the other one JAVA. PO approval was set to print automatically. In a windows setting, there are no problems with this setup. But in SAP GUI for JAVA, no print outs are produced and no error messages are displayed. • Message on SAP login screen

    Hi all,
How to add a system message on the SAP logon screen.
I just want to put display some content and links on screen where we enter client and username and password.
    regards,
    helpful answers are surely rewarded.

    Hi,
Personalization of your SAP system  logon screen, splash screen etc
    1) Adding text to the SAP logon screen. This is very handy for identifying which SAP system the user is about to log onto, especially non production boxes. You can also warn them here of pending changes, updates or outages. Because it is up while they are typing in their userid and password, they can't claim they missed the system message. SAP icons like the stop sign and warning signs can also be displayed. Details can be found in OSS note #205487. Here are the guts:
Go to Transaction SE61 and select the document 'General text' (selection via F4 help), and create a text with the name ZLOGIN_SCREEN_INFO in the language defined with profile parameter zcsa/system_language.
If the text does not exist in the system language, no output is made.
Note that there is space for 16 lines with 45 fixed-font characters each or for approximately 60 proportional space font characters on the logon screen.
Title lines (can be recognized by means of format keys starting with a 'U') are highlighted in the display.
You may also output icons at the beginning of lines by using an icon code (for example, @1D@ for the STOP icon). You can get a list of icon codes from Report RSTXICON. Pay attention to the codes with two '@' symbols displayed by the report. You cannot include text symbols. The 'include indicator' cannot be used for this function. SUBHINT here. These can be used on system messages as well.
Creating/changing this text requires a changeable system. Therefore, for production systems, SAP recommends maintaining the text in the upstream system and then transporting it. To do this, select a transportable (customer) development class when you create the text and save the active version prior to the export. The transport is done via the transport object R3TR DOCT ZLOGIN_SCREEN_INFO The text can be changed in the original system only (see TADIR entry R3TR DOCT ZLOGIN_SCREEN_INFO). When making a change in a non-original system, a modified text would be generated which cannot be represented sensefully on the initial screen.
    2) Changing the splash screen on the main menu can add some pizzazz to the otherwise boring screen. It can also be changed easily on a regular basis. For production systems a company logo and/or company mission statement might be appropriate. Here are the instructions:
First, in transaction SMW0 (SAP Web Repository), select "Binary data for WebRFC applications. The logo must be in a .gif format. From this transaction, create a new object, then choose to IMPORT. You must then specify the path to the .gif object you have saved, and select the option to TRANSFER.
Then, maintain table SSM_CUST via SM30. Change the field START_IMAGE to the name of the object you created in SMW0.
    3) Changing the rippling water on the top right on all is easy but tedious and requires no change to the SAP system. The file name is 'sapalogo.bmp' and resided in the directory "SAPpcsapguithemesdefault". Looking at this file you can see how it works. Use an editor like Paint and replace each of the SAP ripple images with a morphing image of your own. Make sure the new image is the same size as the original. There are 33 images in the original but you don't need that many. One idea for a morphing image would be to take your company logo and have it build its way across the screen and then off again.
    4) Changing the startup movie is even easier. Replace the file 'sapss.avi' with a short avi of your own. This file resides in the same directory as 'sapalogo.bmp
    Pls reward points,
    Regards,
    Ameet

    Hello,

Nowadays some users can connect to QAS and PRO systems using SAP GUI for windows and java with the saprouter string,  but the support enginners are using SAP GUI for HTML, do I need a special string or configuration so html users can connect to my system from the Internet?

  • Validate xslt against JDK5 so we can remove the 'Use SAP XML Toolkit' flag

We are working on PI7.1 and have hit an issue with an XSLT mapping. We were getting an error when testing that said:
    TransformerException during XSLT processing:
    javax.xml.transform.TransformerException: com.sun.org.apache.xalan.internal.xsltc.TransletException: com.sun.org.apache.xalan.internal.xsltc.TransletException: java.io.FileNotFoundException
We found a few threads on SDN pointing us to using the 'Use SAP XML Toolkit' flag, which we'd not even noticed before. Ticking this flag did get us around the problem. Further investigation suggested to us, however, that this flag will not be available in future releases, so I guess our best solution would be to try and resolve the issues in our mapping against the current version of java (JDK5). When we use other tools such as XMLSPY they do not detect a problem with the XSLT. Can anyone point me to a tool that would enable us to validate our XSLT file against JDK5, which will provide us with error messages that will enable us to fix the error and therefore remove the 'Use SAP XML Toolkit' flag?
    thanks,
    Malcolm.

I am sorry to have to say that even inside SAP nobody can answer this question.
In principle it will work when it is pure XSLT 1.1 but some commands from XSLT 2.0 might work also.
