Swipe to delete doesn't work in the music app on my iPhone

I Am trying to delete songs from my iPhone. When I swipe to delete, a few songs comply with the action, but most (and all of the songs I want to delete) will not allow me to delete them. How can I delete these songs?

I agree with you G-Daddy. I just bought Alpocolypse and it has several music videos at the end. On my iPhone it will play all of the songs and then play the music videos. Not so on the iPad.
Someone will probably make an App for that, if Apple lets it through.

"Skip to the next chapter" & "Return to the previous chapter" functions don't work in the iOS 6 Music App when listening to Podcasts and Audiobooks through Headsets (Apple & 3rd party), Speaker Docks, and in my autos handsfree bluetooth system (Ford Sync).
Listening with the Podcasts App allows "Skip" and "Return" to work. So, this is either a bug or Apple is forcing the use of the Podcast App to get the "Skip" & "Return" controls. All the other headset functions work as designed.
I listen to news Podcasts in chronological order. In iTunes I set up smart playlists sorted by release date for the podcasts. The Podcast App doesn't support playlists therefore I need to use the Music App.
Is anyone able to get "Skip" and "Return" to work in the Music app?

The music app on my Iphone 4S is stuck. It keeps playing that same song over and over. It won't progress to the next song on the playlist on its own, I have to use the next button to move it to the next song manually. The shuffle doesn't work either. I was going to delete it and reinstall it, but I can't even get an x to appear in the corner to delete and reinstall it (perhaps because it came preinstalled on the phone). Anybody have this same problem, or a solution?

If it keeps repeating the same song, then you probably have Repeat activated. See this graphic for the oval arrow to the left.

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray BEFORE doing the reset.

restore with itunes not from an itunes backup or cloud save they do absolutely nothing only a clean restore will solve your problem

Open iTunes app on your phone. go to Purchases. It may be in the more section, (The ellipsis icon over the word More). Tap Purchased. Tap Music. Tap Recent Purchases. Tap the iCloud icon next to the tracks you want to download. On my phone the songs were at the beginning of the list because I haven't purchased anything since it was announced this morning.

So this is annoying me to no end because I just spent $25 to sign up for iTunes Match and so far its wasted my time and given me nothing but a massive headache. This is obviously a major bug on the SERVICE END, not mine.
Starting with an empty iTunes library on my Mac, I began ripping my CDs in iTunes Plus AAC format the other night with the intent of matching & uploading my entire music library into iCloud for streaming & downloading to my iPhone 4S on the go. Simple in theory, right? After some basic tag editing -- changing genres, a simple alteration to a title here, deleting the composer there -- and then updating iTunes Match (Store > Update iTunes Match), I notice I'm getting duplicates of a bunch of my songs appearing on my iPhone. I haven't downloaded anything to the device, they're all just listed with the cloud icon next to them.
So I'm thinking, whatever, I screwed something up. I'm only several CDs into the process so I'll just delete the iTunes library and start over again. Shift + right click, delete everything. Do you want to delete these songs from iCloud as well? Yes. Update iTunes Match. There are 0 songs in iCloud. Okay.
The songs are still showing in my iPhone Music app. Strange. Swipe to delete does nothing, they're not on the device. They're pointing to files in the cloud that are either no longer there or somewhere that I cannot access anymore. Broken aliases. The album artwork still shows up, but playing the songs just kicks me back to the album menu. Navigating to Settings > General > Usage > Music shows me there is no data on the device. 0 bytes.
One thing I notice is that sometimes after syncing a handful of these broken songs will show up in a "Purchased" playlist on my iPhone within the iTunes browser -- I haven't purchased any music from the iTunes store, not one song -- and inspecting them with right click > Get Info reveals them as Stream files, not iTunes Plus AAC files.
Turning iTunes Match off and on again both from within iTunes and on my iPhone does nothing.
Syncing wirelessly or via USB does nothing.
Backing up and restoring my iPhone does nothing.
Double clicking the Home button and quitting the Music process, then opening it again does nothing.
Hard resetting the iPhone does nothing.
This is something that's happening with my Apple ID on the service end, not locally or on the user end. As long as iTunes Match is turned on in my iPhone settings, all of this broken music -- everything I've matched to iCloud and deleted -- shows up. I've done everything within the parameters of proper usage, and iTunes tells me there is nothing in iCloud after it updates but my phone keeps seeing crap that isn't -- or shouldn't be -- there.
I WANT to use iTunes Match, I just paid 25 freaking dollars for it, but its completely busted for me right now and I know ripping and matching some more CDs is just going to make it worse and populate my iPhone with an even bigger broken library. I just ripped and matched one more CD an hour ago without editing any of the tags, just let iTunes Match do its thing, and then after right clicking and following the prompts to delete the 18 songs both from both iTunes AND iCloud its still showing up on my iPhone. Busted like all the others.
Can we please get an update on this as soon as possible? This is driving me nuts and I don't know what else to do.

It's a slightly convoluted process.
Disable iTunes Match on your iPhone
Settings > Music > Itunes Match
Now, make sure you've killed the Music app by double-tapping the home button, and deleting the app there where it is running. Important step. The app should not be active.
Next step:
Settings > General > Usage (it takes a while to load) > then delete the Music app there
Power your phone down, and back up again.
Sync your music via iTunes like you always have ...
... and this should fix your problem.

IRadio icon doesn't show in the music app. What to do?

I have updated my iPhone 5 to iOS 7. Went well but the icon for iRadio doesn't show up in the lower left menu of the music app. I'd be grateful for suggestions.

Long shot, but...
Open Audio Midi Setup in Applications>Utilities, see the input & output options & KHz setting there, some things will change it for their own use, then not set it back.

Microphone doesn't work for the phone app, but does for skype/heytell.

So, my iphone4 randomly decided it would stop using the microphone when I made calls. I've tried using headsets/speaker mode but that doesnt change the fact the mic makes a single click sound and then I cannot be heard. I've installed the latest firmware (4.3.3) and I've done a full factory restore/resync. Nothing works. It's bizarre that this only happens with the actual phone app though, as I can make calls with skype or be heard on heytell just fine and perfectly clearly. In fact, any app that uses the mic works, except for the phone app....

I had done that but the music was still in the App even though where you directed me, which I had already done thinking it would work, said no data. I finally found in itunes after re syncing to "On This iphone" on the top bar the "edit" command, then "slect all", then "delete". It re synced and all is gone. Guess there is a difference slightly from IOS 6 and 7 as that removed the data but not the music itself strangely enough. Thanks for responding.

I didn't try reset or restore (resets are easy enough, but restores tend to be kind of extreme solutions for something like this), but I did go back into iTunes, uncheck the "Music" box, and re-sync. Then I checked it again and synced. I'm guessing that a previous wi-fi sync got interrupted, and as a result, the associations between the song information (what displays) and the actual file got out-of-whack somehow.
As near as I can tell, the problem is fixed...

Servlet doesn't work in the Web app after deployed to weblogic 7.0

I'm new to weblogic.
I recently developed a web application. It runs perfectly in
Jdeveloper Embeded server on my local machine. The app was talking to
a orable 9i database.
However after I deployed it to weblogic 7.0 server. All servlets don't
work any more. Some give me 404 error which I figured it might have
something to do with my web.xml. I didn't have enough servlet-mapping
definition. I corrected and now I've got new 500 error. I'm wondering
if I need to do some oralce configure thing in the admin console. But
it does work in Jdevlopera. All connection statment and sql statements
were in the servlet code. Is here anything I miss? please help. I've
been stuggle with this for 3 days. Any tip will be highly appreciated.

Since your servlet is talking to the Oracle9i database, If you come across any database connecting problems
make sure classes12.jar is in the classpath before startting WebLogic7.0
Make sure the WL_home/weblogic700/server/lib/classe12.zip is not loaded by moving it into a different folder.
